The milk chocolate and pistachio cookie dough is the best I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing. The French toast is also sooo good!

It was 8 of us, it took a while for the food to come, even when it come it came one by one so imagine how long it took for 8 of us. Food quality wasn’t too bad, but the meat on the pulled bbq lamb was very chewy and tough. Drinks were good

They got my order wrong and we were the only people here. They took 15 minutes to get my order out but we were the only ones here

Great food, especially recommended dynamite chicken with croffle or waffle as well as the French toast with fresh cream. They always give an amazing portion of berries. Only problem is the chicken has a bit too much sauce making it overpowering and a little sickening to finish off, this is for both sweet chilli chicken and dynamite. Other than that amazing portions, great prices, and beautiful aesthetics.

French toast and croffle are very tasty on the expensive side the price seems to go up whenever I go once in a while

Second time I have visited. A slightly confusing place. Given a breakfast menu at 1300hrs. Would have preferred lunch. The food seems well prepared. Marked down on atmosphere because the whole restaurant area was smoky. Lady on the till said it is because they are not allowed an extractor in the kitchen which seemed odd. Would go back if ventilation is sorted and I could have lunch at lunchtime.

Service was good and the staff were pleasant. Came here a few years ago and the place was a lot busier. Seems to have quitened down considerably. That may have something to do with the prices and portions. I am all for charging a fair price for what you provide but the owners need to rememeber what they are providing and where they are located. For the prices you pay the portions leave a sour taste. Food is ok. Edible but not the best you have tasted.

Stopped by on my travels and was greeted at the door. Order taken very swiftly and food arrived within 10 minutes. Strawberry mocktail was amazing, I ordered “the big ben” breakfast. Did not disappoint!

I've been here before and food was so good that I decided to come back. But this time food was a let down, I ordered dynamite chicken there wasn't much chicken compared to what i got last time. I also ordered halloumi fries that were burnt so I sent them back but was told that's how they are cooked. But they're not cooked burnt I've had them before from here and they were cooked perfectly last time. Usually food is good and that's why we come back so this is constructive criticism about the food because I am planning to come back, just hopefully you take on board the comments.

Impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. We had a baby and little one with us, and were well taken care off. Food is reliable. I prefer Benjamins breakfast and sweet treats over their lunch/mains. Their coffee is great too!

Wrong timings given on google. It does not open on 10 am. I went to Benjamins Dunstable on Saturday at 11 and it was closed.

Ordered a milkshake and asked for a mixture of two flavours, they said it’ll be a £1 extra, which is fine. The total should’ve been £6. When it came to payment, they charged me £8. I asked why I was being charged £2 extra they said £1 for a takeaway cup and £1 for whip cream (which I didn’t ask for). How were they going to give me the milkshake if not in a takeaway cup? Not a huge issue because of the £2, but more as it was underhanded way of over charging a customer and principally wrong.

Dessert and drinks are the nicest 👌

I visited Benjamins with my family as a pre ramdaan meal. The restaurant was quiet, and had 2 members of staff on the floor. We asked for high chairs, which.. didnt arrive until just before the food arrived, which meant one child was on the lap, and the other was stuffed in the car seat for a prolonged period. A sensible person would assume childrens menus would also be provided..we had to ask for them. We had to wait for around 5 minutes to get the attention one of the two members of staff to place an order, even then the server disappeared then suddenly remembered. The food arrived and unfortunatly for the server, did one of the things i find irritating the most when dining with children, place hot food directly in front of a very young child whos first reaction is to grab! Luckily we had a cold can in front of us, so where able to sooth her hand without a tear. The food was "benjamins style and standard". The portion was a good size, but had a lot of fries. - Maybe add less fries, more of the main topping. We noticed the two members of staff sat down at a table, one was eating whilst the other sat with them back to the customers. - WUUUT!! We did want desserts, then decided against it as it was taking so long getting attention of the one sat with their back to us. When it came to paying, i got up went to the counter, and the staff member couldnt be bothered to walk around the counter, so dealt with things on the front of the counter. - Not exactly the luxery experience, but no biggy! In summary: Overall, the food was, just food. Portions are good sized, but loaded with lots of chips and not enough of the main topping. The real let down was the customer service, or not so much service. It felt lazy and inconsiderate. We wont be rushing back or reccomending any time soon.

Lovely little place to go for desserts and milkshakes. bought the family here after a meal at Nandos and everyone had a good time. staff are very polite and attentive.

We've been going to Benjamin's for a while and their breakfast is alright. We ordered big Ben which was good but the croffle with fried chicken wasn't really good. It felt the fried chicken was old and refried which took the taste away and made chicken really chewy.

I visited and the food was dry and tasteless bad service Waiters were so slow and I had a bad tummy, when talking about the bill the owner was rude

When this place first open its was great food and not too bad price. I went recently and wasn’t really happy with the food. I ordered the dynamite prawns with curly fries. When I first went to the cafe when it opened there was around 10 prawns all battered with the sauce. Now it I only got 5 prawns, and was not battered at all, just some sauce on it. The meal was just full of chips and salad, that did not taste washed. The price has also gone up by £5 or so, really disappointed as it was tasty the first time around.

I have been to Benjamins a few times now and I really enjoy it. Eveytime I visit it just keeps getting better and better. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The staff are always friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. They have a great selection of food, drinks and desserts which are all delicious. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving Benjamins a try. I am sure you will love it.

Very clean inside. I went near closing time so I will try go again at an earlier time. I went after an event within Luton. Ordered the French toast with Nutella and also Kinder sauce. Absolutely amazing!!! Lovey staff too everyone seemed very friendly.

(FOOD POISONING CAUTION) would of scored it -100 stars if i could. FOOD IS AWFUL, NOT FRESH AND SERVED MAJORLY UNDERCOOKED!! Halloumi fries was burnt, prawns stunk, chicken was pink and bloody and hardly cooked. Me and my partner have been violently sick within 4 hours of eating this meal. UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING PLEASE AVIOD AT ALL COSTS, GO GET A £3.50 MEAL DEAL AND SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP TO A&E...

Very average food. People have mentioned big portions however I felt they were small. French toast was tiny and you only got like 3 blueberries, 2 raspberries and half a strawberry when i got the omelette breakfast meal. Definitely is clean and nicely furnished. No desi breakfast options. Wont probably come again, sorry.

Loaded fries were nice, I ordered hot pepper sauce loaded fries but it wasn’t spicy at all. Overall taste was good. Their mocktails are fresh I ordered passion fruit one.

I ordered a salted caramel milkshake which was pretty tasteless. The straws are too small for the glass! My friends enjoyed their Ferrero milkshake and milk chocolate cookie dough. Please provide longer straws.

I booked the private room downstairs for my nephews party. Everything went so well and was amazing. My whole family enjoyed everything. The manager Mo was swift in his responses and made sure everything went smoothly on the day. Staff also accommodated to our last Minute needs.

Our meals arrived and the coffee was open and had spilt entirely in the bag. Both meals are TINY considering the price, one was missing the coleslaw, side salad and sour cream. The chicken in both meals is cold and some pieces look a little sus. Extremely disappointing considering how expensive it all was and how long it took to arrive.

To be honest the food was great from the breakfast to the deserts. The customer service was great food arrived shortly and was piping hot which was good and this was a great lunch will be coming down again hopefully

Went there few days ago. Heard a lot. Upon arrival no service what so ever. Asked a staff for a takeaway menu but she said they don't have a menu and seemed like very annoyed with the question! Tried food was very small portion and expensive according to the portion size ! Bright lighting and fancy decor is not what customers need. Focus should be on food instead. Highly not recommended

Very rude staff very unorganised and food has really deteriorated to a poor standard. The little boy working in the cafe Mohammad really needs to learn customer service skills. Rather than become all confrontational!! Where is the respect for customers? Will never be visiting this place again absolute shambles.

Food was 2/10 Got the big English breakfast and was drenched in oil, had to use a napkin to soak up the oil to make it eatable Upon paying I was asked how it was and I mentioned that it was too oily and was told this is how it is. The service and cleanliness was good

Benjamins is the only place I go to get a big English breakfast. It’s amazing value for money and has everything you could want on the plate. The place is always busy, which isn’t surprising due to its amazing food. The inside is so pretty and great for photos. Sometimes service can be slow depending on how busy they are, but that’s completely understandable. Always recommend Benjamin's if you’re looking for a good English breakfast.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I attended again today for breakfast. Still the best breakfast and waffle restaurant in the whole of Bedfordshire . UPDATE: I took my wife and my son today for some brunch, the food was so much better than the first time I went. I didn't think it could get better but did. Wow l, even my son ate all his hash browns and ours which is unheard of. They where great with my son even know he was making noise through pure food excitement they just smiled at him. Benjamin's is the only place we will go for brunch now. This second experience cemented it. Wow just wow, the best halal breakfasts in Luton hands down. My wife got the kinder milkshake which I did drink half of because it was that good. The Big Ben breakfast was outstanding and big so will need to go lay down afterwards, the pancakes looked amazing as well. A must go for anyone who wants the best of the best. I'm a big toffee eater and I can tell they use cheap toffee on their desserts, their Rafaello sundae wasn't nice, wasnt worth the money spent, have heard good things about their breakfast menu though..but wouldn't risk trying it after tasting their dessert Food looks better than it tastes

Ordered a black forest waffle from Uber Eats. It didn't get squashed during delivery (unlike most dessert deliveries), looked amazing and tasted even better! Thanks for actually being worth the price.

Waited 40 minutes for our food and noticed that those arriving after us were being served their food before us and we had a hungry child. Will not be dining here again unfortunately. Too much focus on the aesthetics and not enough on efficiency.

Great food bbq pulled lamb is really good

Breaky was satisfying with decent portions, and I opted to add extra protein to my order. While the eggs were a bit on the bland side compared to other places I've been, the pancakes, & sausage were delicious. I’d definitely visit again.

Cool luxury cafe in the heart of Luton TC, great food and friendly staff.

I contracted food poisoning after eating at this restaurant. The friend I was with was also unwell after our meal. I attempted to speak to the restaurant about this. They initially failed to contact me after I visited the restaurant and left my details. When I followed up, the manager was defensive and non-apologetic. The average food and service isn’t worth the risk of getting so ill. Avoid at all costs.

Food and service weren’t that bad. But they were quite dirty. It was from sofa to table. All over Table’s edge had so much yucky staff.

Luton-wise, it's a really good spot. Portions are well sized and reasonably priced.

The only place I can take my daughter to eat gluten-free food and the staff are amazing at the front.

Starting off the place looked nice but facilities and cutlery were dirty. The karak chai served to us initially was lukewarm but they exchanged it for a hot one on request. The waiters need training as they don't put the plate in from of you but just as close to them as possible, they brought the food too far apart from each and without cutlery which we had to ask for, I had to wait five minutes until my families food came out by then the food had gotten a little colder. The sausage they gave me still had the plastic or skin on it not sure if it comes like that or if someone forgot to peel it off. Overall not happy with the place and won't be coming back until it changes.

I have ordered a delivery breakfast from here which was fantastic. A bit expensive, but honestly happy with the breakfast and would give it 5 stars for variety, flavours etc. On this note we decided to book for lunch for my mum's birthday in August and to simply try the lunch menu and this is where it went downhill and sadly why my stat rating is so low. The decor is nice and sophisticated, but there's no point in nice aesthetics if food and service is bad First of all I find it strange that "lunch" starts at 2pm (prior to that it's just a breakfast menu). When we arrived, despite having booked a table for 8 people, they hadn't kept a table reserved, lucky for them they were able to move 3 customers already seated to accommodate our booked table. We sat down and the table was filthy, so I had to ask the waitress to kindly re-wipe the table, which was cleaned with a smelly dirty cloth, this was noticeable because it left a lingering smell. As 2 of us had arrived early we were waiting for a while for the rest of our party to arrive, we weren't asked if we wanted to order a drink while we waited. The waitress was completely inattentive, and also the servers at the counter - they all seemed miserable to be there. They barely looked over to check if anyone needed anything. Just not good service at all. If I could give 0 stars for service I would. For 8 people, we were only given 3 menus, which one was missing a whole section. We would have asked for more menus, but it was as though the waitress/servers were avoiding talking to us. So we all shared 2 menus between us. The menus were also sticky and falling apart (side note, the toilet facilities were also filthy). We all ordered our food and drinks. Which came out after a reasonable time. We had ordered a chocolate milkshake, which was basically a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, not actually a chocolate milkshake. The mains were basic, but the sauces on each dish were like store bought bottled sauces on top of each protein. The only flavour that was decent was the Dynamite chicken. We would have loved to try the desserts, but being so disappointed so far, we didn't bother. I hope that the restaurant can improve on the above points because I think it has potential, but these are just basics in any restaurant or service industry.

Great service and vibes. Staff is very friendly. We ordered buffalo chicken waffle and sweet chilli chips fully loaded with strawberry mojito. I was a bit disappointed witht the buffalo chicken waffle as it tasted a bit too salty for my liking other than that the rest of the food was ok. Although I must say it looked great.

Really nice family place. Had the Brunching Croffle from here and hands down it was absolutely amazing! Definitely will be back to try other things!

Went to have brunch at Benjamins with a friend, it was my first time here. I had a double croffle (mix between a croissant and a waffle) with fried chicken, maple syrup and some extra hash browns on the side. The hash browns were 10/10, fluffy yet still crunchy. The croffle was nice, the chicken was not bad either. My friend enjoyed her Big Ben breakfast. We both had a virgin mojito: they were refreshing and sweet. Staff was friendly and helpful and there was a good vibe in the café. Would definitely like to come back another time to try more of the menu!

The chilli paneer was overdone and too crispy and I’m sure the portion was smaller than when I last ordered the same dish. Also only one pot of coleslaw for the 2 paneer dishes. The sweet dishes were all good though.

Food takes forever to come out, it's cold and not at the same time. Service is meh.

Lovely place in town, excellent service ,great food and nice and clean

The reason I've given four stars overall is because of the aircon. I'm not a fan of it and really felt the chill, so had to put my jacket on, also the seats need to be cleaned down, there were crumbs on the seats and food lodged between the back of the chair and the seat on the long backed seats. However, on the plus side, the food (Vegan breakfast) was lovely and our server Sumaiya was fab and attentive too. Defo will visit again and choose from the lunch menu from 1pm. Thank you! The food was so horrible and cold the chicken was off I felt really sick after overal service was bad and I barely ate anything but they still made me pay full price.

Benjamin's is undoubtedly Luton's top breakfast spot! Their Rashers and Sausages taste homemade, far from any store-bought options. I was thoroughly impressed, and it perfectly met my expectations. A solid 10/10 experience!

Loved the loaded fries, chicken and mushroom salad and the alcohol free daiquiri. Will be coming back for sure!

We thought we would try Benjamins for the first time today after seeing it on google. The service was flawless right from taking the booking through to the bill. Food and drinks were delicious and the portions were large. It is also very good value for money. We will definitely be coming back to Benjamins an making it our local favourite.

Visited Benjamin's for brunch. Nice place just round the corner from the Town Hall. Spacious, with lots of room for seating. It was nice to see that it wasn't too expensive cost wide. Slightly disappointing that we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food. It made it less disappointing that the food was very nice. I had "The Big Ben" breakfast. Generous portion size and everything was cooked very well. Overall, a very nice place in the heart of town, good food and nice ambiance. Fully halal and HMC certified too. Recommended! 👍

The customer service at this place is disgusting… even if you call ahead and state there’s an issue they won’t be able to find a solution…. Really good for a headache though… Terrible service

We ordered buffalo wings,prawn dippers as starters. Everything was perfect and top notch,specially was shocked how big the prawn sizes were as you can see in the pic. As desserts we ordered milk chocolate cookie dough which was delicious,my kids really enjoyed it. Ordered some fries and a mojito too. The mojito I'll say there was more ice than the mojito itself,as you can see in the photo the glass is quite straight and the actual mojito is less inside. We got some cheesecakes to take away,£1 per cheesecake as displayed in the rack.when we asked why it's so cheap they said,it was gonna go out if date by the next day that's why. That was good too. The kids really enjoyed themselves and the place is cozy. Will come again to try different stuff out.

The aesthetics of the cafe, gorgeous unfortunately for our own experiences? They spent money on the aesthetics than on the actually food and customer service. They didn’t cater to my friend’s dietary needs & the waitress looked like she didn’t want to be there. We felt like we weren’t welcomed. The food for what we had was ok, but then our requests sensed to be ignored severely. Gorgeous place to look at if it’s a museum or an influencers studio. Shame about the customer service and dietary needs. The photo I’ve shared is of the chocolate fudge cake I sent back because there were shavings of chocolate I asked not to be added, only for it to come back with the said shavings on. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Enjoyed a Big breakfast was very relaxed and plenty of space at 11am. Would definitely recommend.
