Really good food, always busy. But with the delivery industry taking over, that is where they make money. You have to wait for your food unless you order it over the phone, because the delivery riders take preference. Still a great shop but, not the wait of up to 25 minutes for fish and chips

I drove to benhall expecting a "cone" of chips as I can't find anywhere that sells "cones" of chips so on the menu says cone of chips I drove all the way there to end up a tray of chips was disappointed 😞

Fish & chips to die for. We’ve stayed overnight locally, several times across the years and Benhall Fish Bar is a “must visit” every time.

Had to go here as most of the shops i go to close at 9 and it was abit of a late one for me , For the price i paid for the food it was terrible felt like a waste of £30 the chips were really soggy and oily and the COD was soo chewy and dry it almost tasted like dry chicken the batter on the Cod was bland and thick coated and soggy again drenched in oil no crispiness to it at all safe to say wont step foot in there again worste fish and chips in cheltenham soo far and i have fish and chips alot

Fish is exceptional and plenty of chips to go with it. Excellent service as well.

It was the state of the donar kebab meat, it looked and had the texture of bacon it was so over cooked. Live too far away to take it back, gonna feed it to the wildlife.

Senior fish and chips £4.90! Loads of chips and a slightly smaller portion of fish. All piping hot. The shop was incredibly busy but worth the wait.

The fish and chips are generally very good but sometimes the chips are not very hot. It's a shame that the small portion of chips is too large at £2.60. A smaller portion would be better but half way between a cone and small. There is plenty of choice for everyone even battered Mars bars.

AVOID ,Will rip you off ,say your food is out for delivery and when it does not arrive, they say its nothing to do with them,once it has been handed to driver and they can,t find out where the driver is or contact them as they have lots of drivers. Been using this place for a long time but never again.

Seen it on just eat so thought I would try, food is absolutely amazing, the portion size is unbelievable you couldn't beat it, amazing prices definitely my new favourite chippy

Good value fish and chips - the pensioner special is great value. Still great food although prices have increased dramatically for the battered cod.

This is mine and my husband's first trip to Cheltenham we had our first fish and chips and donna meat and chips with chillie sauce at Benhall Fish Bar, I had the small fish and chips it was a large portion as was the Donna meat it's the tastiest meal in a long time thank you and well done 👏keep up the good work.

Como no quería apagarlos, y solo me apetecía el clásico bacalao y papas fritas, me complació ver que tenían una pequeña selección de porciones recién cocinadas y en exhibición, listas para llevar. Preparado para sentirme decepcionado, porque no había aceptado la oferta de algo que aún no estaba disponible para envolver, elegí mi pescado y pedí que se lo sirviera con una gran porción de papas fritas: soy codicioso es, y me encantan mis patatas fritas (risas), pero por lo general me gusta guardar algunas como sobras para un butty de patatas fritas al día siguiente. Me explicaron que no tenían lo suficientemente listo para una porción grande adecuada, y ¿estaría feliz de esperar unos minutos para que pudieran comenzar un nuevo lote? Parecía muy probable que fuera su último cliente, pero aun así, para darme lo que quería, comenzaron una nueva carga de chips solo para mí. Estaba agradecido, pero pensé que esto probablemente significaba que el pescado ya no estaría en su mejor momento para cuando finalmente lo llevase a casa, si tuviera que esperar un nuevo chip frito. Estaba de vacaciones en ese momento, probablemente lleno de cerveza, e imagino que el escenario estaba preparado para que cualquier cosa tuviera un sabor maravilloso, dadas las circunstancias, pero redefinió mis expectativas y nada, hasta esta noche, se había acercado siquiera a ser tan bueno. . What a legend! Had just closed before I got there and cleaned up but he opened back up for me so we didn’t go hungry! Not many places that would do that these days! Also the food is the best here, favourite chippy 👌👍

Soy un cliente muy habitual y nunca me ha decepcionado la calidad de la comida, el servicio o el tamaño de la porción. A veces tengo que esperar pero no me importa, ya que sé que mi pescado y papas fritas estarán calientes y frescos. Mi hermano estaba de visita, así que recogimos comida para comer mientras el fútbol estaba encendido. Tuve pescado, papas fritas y guisantes. Caliente, fresca y sabrosa. Hermano fue para pastel de carne, papas fritas y salsa de curry. Él también disfrutó mucho la suya y dijo que la salsa de curry era muy buena. El personal es siempre alegre y amable. Nada es demasiado para ellos. Muy recomendable. Gracias.

It is really nice there everything is really nice and the chip portion is massive we had 1 large between 3 but I asked for a blue slushy and I got a mix of blue and red so that was nice of the person but a bummer because the red flavour isn't as nice

Compramos pescado y papas fritas aquí recientemente, fue recomendado por un amigo.Desafortunadamente, no puedo decir que fue una comida agradable.El pescado era normal, con una masa burbujeante, dura y crujiente.Las patatas fritas sabían bien, pero alrededor de la mitad eran pedazos de papa sobrantes.Esta no fue una experiencia muy buena para comer.Probablemente no vaya allí de nuevo!
