Bengal Spice in North Tyneside

Ordered from here for the first time tonight and let me tell you, it will most definitely be the last. Most disgraceful meal iv been served in a long time. Chicken was quite clearly microwaved (and overdone), tasted off. The curry itself was more like soup.. there was a pool of water on my plate when I finished my rice. Only nice items were the onion bhaji and poppadoms. See photo attached. 0/10.

My go to for Indian food, I got the lamb tikka Sri Lankan curry and a hot spiced chicken tikka masala with onion pilau rice and a garlic and coriander naan bread! Beautiful and so tasty.

Worst customer service ever and stone cold food that went in the bin, couldnt even get the order right, lost my custom!

The food tastes amazing the only issue for me was my chips were very hot but everything else was warm so I think they make up the order and must of had it sitting while they cooked the chips.

Found hair in food now me and my partner don’t feel well

This is the worst food and customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered meal and pizza. The whole order arrived stone cold. I got plain chicken curry when I asked for lamb tika vindaloo. After arguing over a portion of rice they sent a replacement curry. Every piece of meat was gristle. When I complained I was told this is what they serve and nobody else has complained. Would not refund the price of the curry just offered me a discount off next order. Like I am going to order from them again. Going to contact trading standards tomorrow.

Ordered our first take out from here tonight. The quality was excellent and quantity served means we have a brilliant lunch for tomorrow. Fab service, happy customers 😀

Had nothing to eat all day working on A19 close by, called placed order told 25 mins .Collected on time food piping hot good chunky chips great kemal nan best chicken madras I've had in a long time.Will be ordering again Brilliant quality.

Food great customer service good, only problem is how long it takes to get your food but I dnt see this as a problem, you want good n quality food, than it takes time for good quality food

Used delivery for first time.food was good and hot but delivery time far exceeded expectations and advised time.

Stay away disgusting second time ordering and messed up both times 2 meals went straight in the bin got a little nan bread with very little salad and cold kofta meat rank

Ordered massala sauce, nan bread and chips, was sent chicken madras by mistake, rang back, and they couldn't apologise enough. Was sent the sauce within 10 mins. Mistakes happen, will definitely order again. Was delicious

If your taste is Bangladesh curry, pizza or kebab these guys cover your evening meal with just what you need

Ordered chicken tikka and saag aloo. Ended up with chips instead of saag aloo. Chicken was tastless and tasted like it had been warmed up in the microwave. 1st and last visit

Probably one of the worst kebabs I have ever had for the price. Kebab meat dry and limb lamb just fat and about 4 pieces of chicken tika, garlic sauce like water tasteless. Asked for no lettuce got just onion and one but if tomato

Food arrived cold after nearly an hour waiting for chicken dry over cooked poppadoms chewy! Not crunchie how they should be and the onion bargi chewey and greasey!

We’re to start.... got the meat tahli... asked for masala mild, came like a vindaloo... potato curry was like the potato had been pulled out the ground dropped strait in pot.. avoid the lamb as the pitch folk wouldn’t go through it. Very disappointed

Been a customer from shop opening and then shop moving and renaming itself. Even tho I have now moved out of howdon and live in north shields I have still remained a customer. Ordered some food on Friday and it was disgusting the food was cold. The burger was disgusting. The chips were disgusting. The bun was hard. The chicken wrap was like slop it had garlic on we asked for no garlic. The salad on the wrap and the burger was soggy and tasteless the meal came to 19 pound and most of it went in the bin. I rang up to complain. Was told by the guy on the fone he knew i was being genuine offered to bring me more food that day but I was put off by the meal. So he said well u did get a free meal again the next time. So thought ok. Thought maybe the bad food was a 1 off so Rang up to be told by the manager that there's nothing they can do. After years of being a customer. I think.its disgusting. Never again will I order food from here

Called at 23:27 when menu states 'OPENING HOURS 5pm - 23:45. Was told they are closed. When I reminded the guy of the opening hours on google, he hung up on me then wouldn't answer the phone again. Pretty bad customer service

Chef Shekrul is no doubt in my eyes a michelin star chef. Has an eye of a customer while preparing the food. Never fails to impress. Recommend Chef Shekrul as main chef for curries.

The pal curry is the best in North Tyneside if you like it really hot this is the place to go
