Bendi-gedig limited in Gwynedd

Tasty food, very child friendly and a nice shady courtyard. The menu is a bit different with some nice options for adults but also plenty of choice for kids meals (eg sausage, chicken nuggets etc). The staff couldn’t have been nicer, would definitely recommend.

We went the courtyard cafe here and had brownies and teacakes. Excellent food and friendly staff. Definitely coming again as my wife wants to try their panini's.

Stopped off for a Black Coffee ☕️. I have had some bad cups coffee this is up with then. Will not be going back.

Lo que no me gustó es la lentitud del servicio: hacer cola para formular el pedido, pagar y luego sentarte a esperar un buen rato. Todo esto nos quitó tiempo para disfrutar de esta hermosa ciudad de Barmouth.

Ideal place to bring the children for soft play and have a lovely bite to eat! A definite must! They offer slimming world dishes that are homemade on the premises. It’s a gem of a place

Tried to get in out the rain bank holiday - no chance appears that they do not monitor the people who have had 1-2 hours very closely. so I gave it another try Thursday 30 August no trouble getting in but for what there is and the 5.95 entrance fee I felt poor value for money. Drinks reasonably priced but food expensive. Cracked toilet seat in girls. Toilet which should be repaired or marked out of order. A lot of children running up slide bearing in mind big sign up and parents just not watching their children and the staff taking no notice. Not a place I would come back too

On a recent visit to Barmouth we arranged to meet a relation for a coffee,we sat outside and had coffees in a nice relaxing atmosphere,nice coffee and good staff .

My wife took our daughter during our Holiday in Barmouth. My daughter was very happy with the play equipment and she said she had a wonderful time. Everytime we go past she mentions how good it is. Hopefully she can visit again before we go home as it is very good value for money.

Five adults and three children arrived at Bendi-gedig a really great soft play for children and toddlers. Great hot drinks and children's meals everything was so reasonably priced throughly enjoyed my visit.

We had an amazing time as a group of 10 24 year olds. We all painted our own plates which was incredibly relaxing and the staff were so nice. Such a nice morning activity as it was raining, delicious cafe upstairs also. Would definitely recommend!!!!!

Grandchildren loved going here. While they had fun I enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee and a few minutes peace.

Popped in to grab lunch today, trying to stay on plan with slimming world and the staff could not have been more helpful!!! I had a delicious jacket potato with chicken and bacon and a pile of salad.... off menu but they didn't bat an eyelid. Really tasty and I'll be back (again & again) Thank you xx

On a Sunday in January this is one of the few places open. My companion went inside to ask whether the cafe was open. The first woman behind the counter ignored him so then he tried to communicate with a second woman who also acted as if he were invisible. Is this place only for people accompanied by children? Why did this happen? We ate in Milk Bar and were welcomed and treated with respect there.

We have visited this play centre numerous times with our two boys age 3 and 5. They love it, it's clean (really clean in comparison to a lot of children's play centres) it's got everything children could want to run off some energy. We normally have lunch here and it is always good quality food. So why the low score?? On our visit today our youngest wanted a sausage sandwich for his lunch. This is on the breakfast menu (that finishes at 12 noon) and not on the lunch menu. Ok I can see that BUT numerous lunch dishes have sausages in them ( sausage and chips for instance!) and they have bread but could not extend their menu to allow a sausage sandwich! (So there has been man on the moon but this isn't possible!) this resulted in us leaving and having lunch elsewhere in Barmouth. This has left me thinking what a short sighted, inflexible establishment this is and I have got to admit I am disappointed. You have let yourselves down Bendi Gedig.

This place is a wonderland for small kids and a haven for parents. The staff is welcoming and watchful. The food is great, try the goat cheese salad! Outdoor seating seating when the suns out offers a nice view of the square and shopping opportunities. Delivery is sometimes available, a rarity in Barmouth.

Our party of 8 enjoyed a couple of hours being mindful and painting a variety of pottery It was really good fun! The staff were really friendly and the café serves a mean cuppa and delicious food. Thank you a great place for kids and adults alike!

My three year old grandson loves this place and we always feel welcome and at home. The team are very friendly and the equipment is in good order and offers something for all ages. you can even get refreshments and food at a reasonable cost.

Tenía el pavo, relleno Navidad & Koskenkorva salsa especial que era fantástico! !! El pavo estaba como a 2 x chuletas. .. Loadsa carne ... las comidas de los niños estaban a un nivel normal. Personal amable y simpático. El playplace en sí tiene diferentes...

Only discovered this play centre in the last couple of months and have visited a couple of times. Kids absolutely love it, plenty to do and a clean spacious enviroment with the added benefit of free wifi for the parents. Food and drinks were excellent.

Varied menu for children and adults. Food delicious, excellent ploughmans and fish both served with delicious fresh salads. Staff friendly and efficient.

Recommended by a local lady. Spent 2 hours here with our 5 year old on a rainy day. Very clean and well organised. Safe environment for the kids to use up lots of energy. Would return.

My family and I decided to visit Barmouth while we were on holiday in North Wales, and we stumble upon this lovely soft play area just as our 3 year old daughter was getting bored of browsing the shops. The entire play area can be viewed from wherever you sit, which is great. Everything was clean (pristine, infact) and welcoming; and the service was excellent. It was very quiet when we visited so our daughter discovered everything, including: a tablet with puzzle games on attached to the wall, the huge selection of ice cream available and a mini whack a mole game! It's definitely a better than average play area for the kids and the chairs where lovely and comfy too.

When my daughter and my grandson came to stay we took george for a play on Beni-gedig equipment which was excellent in it's own right. While we allowed him to play his little heart out , My daughter and myself had a full breakfast which was delightful and used local Quality product's x The price was very fair and the service was Excellent x The whole place was so clean and comfortable and relaxing x My grandson Enjoyed a small breakfast with child size knife fork spoon and cup's x x I would recommend anyone with little one's to go visit to entertain the children and Eat a lovely fresh cooked meal x plenty of choice x x

We spent a wonderful showery afternoon with our daughter, son in law and grandchildren aged 3 and 11 months in Bendi-gedig. Plenty for them both to do at low cost. Highly recommend the food and drink too.

Even though the sun was shining and the beach was busy our 2 children wanted to spend the whole day in Bendi-gedig! Fantastic equipment, friendly staff, great food and a clean and pleasant environment. Great menu for both kids & grown ups and the outside eating area meant that we could have some peace and quite whilst eating our lunch - well worth a visit if you're in the area.

By far the best soft place we have ever been to. We have 4 children aged 0-6yrs and they loved it. V friendly staff. We didn't eat today but wish we had it looks fab food. Especially slimming world options. We will be back again x

Really pleasantly surprised - a wonderful indoor play centre for the little ones, and the food was superb, the best I have ever had at a play centre, by far (and I've been to a lot of play centres!!) Lovely, friendly staff too. A must if you are visiting Barmouth with young children

Staff were friendly, equipment was clean , food was delicious! Better than any soft play centre....Infact it was better than some restaurants ! Recommend !

Great Place for kids and great food too, easy parking and straightforward to find. Ideal if its a rainny day.

Kids love it every time and prices are fair. Food and drink is also good :) They have a small ball court, a large climbing area with slides. A smaller soft play area for little kids that is well thought out with comfy sofas for the parents to enjoy their coffee on. We visit all the time and my son had his 4th birthday there and now wants to have a birthday every day so he can go back again and again.

We took 8 children from crawling up to age 9. All had a good time and said they would return. Separate areas were provided for small children.There was plenty of seating/tables which were located centrally.Food was reasonably priced with plenty of choice. Those that ordered hot food were served with generous portions which were very tasty and well presented. Light options were just as good.I would definitely recommend.

Great for kids to play while relaxing with a hot chocolate. Lovely welcoming staff. Great when weather cold and wet outside will definitely visit again

We absolutely love this place. I visit on my own with my two kids. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are amazing and well accommodating. The food is well priced and very very tasty! I really recommend a visit. My son loves playing here. There are lots for him to do, while we relax and have a nice bite to eat! The toilets are really clean too and have good changing facilities. This place is a breath of fresh air to Barmouth. They have refurbished an old building to an extremely high quality and it shows! Well done! See you again real soon Bendis! Oh and the breakfasts are awesome too!

my husband and I called in for food and had a great breakfast the staff were really helpful the service excellent, even though we didn't have children with us we were made really welcome everything was clean to a high standard the childrens play area was fantastic . If we visit Barmoth again we would be heading back in there thank you ladies excellent :)

wow this place is worth the money and time to go there. the kids loved it . and good food also so you eat and kids can play after

My hubbie, kids and myself eat here regularly and always enjoy our meal. I love the variety of the menu as usually its hard to please everyone in the family but not here. I think the addition of an outside seating area is perfect for summer and I am sure we will be back many more times. The only problem is the food is so nice we are not eating at home as much as we should!!! But there is nothing quite like a Bendi Breakfast to start your day! The staff are all so friendly and accommodating too.

This new cafe is open from 9am until 6pm everyday all year round.If you have children its a must with fantastic food for children and grown ups. The kids just love it as they can play. I can relax and dont have to worry about mess and spillage as this is just not a problem the staff are really friend. We knocked over a jug of squash they were just lovely and it was not a big issue,the place is really bright and clean. I was talking to the next table who come in quite regulary just for the food. Its all from the local area and really reasonably priced. Can not recommend highly enough

Spending a few days in Barmouth during half term we knew we'd get at least one wet day. Thank goodness for the new playbarn!It was quiet on arrival but soon got busier. It was clean and all staff were welcoming.The menu with such items as eggs benedict and smoked haddock indicated it was going to be of good quality.We were right. The children had chicken nuggets (proper ones at that) and fish (again a proper piece of fish in fresh batter) whilst us mummys had a steak baguette and a chicken and pesto panini - my steak was extremely tender and cooked perfectly. We would certainly recommend and hope it continues with the same standards all round.
