Belmont Tandoori in Harrow

We had a wonderful meal here following the funeral of my lovely mum. It was one of her favourite places to eat and we felt it was a fitting tribute for the three of us to remember her. The staff were amazing and the food incredible, catering to our individual tastes. Thank you.

food was awful, so complained as it's normally gd. was told by just eat that I wouldn't b reimbursed, basically tough luck. yet I use the site alot. so I will go elsewhere in future, there was only yrselves in this business for a long time, now there's plenty of sites to try. obviously u don't want my custom anymore.

I am appalled that a restaurant with good reviews have such a bad food! I specifically ordered from here for shami kebabs and what I got was a solid lamb patty which they tried to make it look like shami kebab! Paneer tikka was sliced thinly to make 1 in to two. The wings had no flavour. I honestly have never thrown food but I threw the portion of so called shami kebab! Please tell your chef to google what shami kebabs are

I ordered the butter chicken and butter paneer and I was very disappointed. the paneer and chicken were both very sweet and not what a butter chicken should taste like. I will not be ordering from here again :(

Meat very dissatisfying as the lamb dansak was very grisly and tough. Mushroom baji was good, rice good, chicken chat good.

Love the food but you’re loosing a customer, our takeaway used to cost £32, it’s now £45. One example Bombay aloo increased by over 60%.

Food was nice, arrived early, large portions for the price, only criticism i have is the dansak (ment to be hot, sweet and sour) was more like a madras.

Some of the best dishes ever! Chicken bhuna is the favorite, spot on for the flavours and the smoky taste, beautifully combined with the special fried rice with mushrooms (cannot recall a tastier rice!). Tried the lamb salee, delicious, with the stuffed paratha with potatoes. This is our go to place to order from, when we want something really tasty, good size dishes to have some leftovers no matter how hungry we are. Well done for cooking good food :).

The food was very nice ordered onion baaji so my only negative would be no salad with them. I would order again

The meat was unfortunately dry and tough and a bit too salty (even for Indian food). The tandoori chicken was good. The yellow chutney was very sweet, not the typical Indian takeaway.

Food was good as usual but unfortunately we only received one of the Two peshwari naans we ordered

Great taste and big portions! Got the set menu for 2 people, with the chicken bhanu, rogan gosh lamb, some of the best that we had so far. Will definitely order again !

I loved my king prawn dish & my son liked his butter chicken, but my eldest son’s lamb rib bhuna was tough and hard not succulent and tender as described. I would definitely order from here again, just would avoid the rib dish

The best takeaway in Harrow! The food is always excellent and on time.

Food is good but delivery is always at the later end of the delivery slot. I've ordered from here a few timea and it has always taken over 1hr. On this occassion, I placed my order at 6.30pm and didn't receive the food until 8.20pm. I won't be ordering from here again because it is not worth the lengthy wait.

Butter chicken was so sweet and full of coconut, I was confused it’s butter chicken or coconut chicken. Tasteless food.

The food was average but the packaging isn’t great, curries had all leaked out & rice box opened up. Needs solid packaging. A very strong taste of ghee in the foods often too much. The prawn starter is rubbish & well over price for what it is. It’s an average takeaway nothing special

Food wasn't as expected had ordered chicken tikka and expected the saucy type.

Had the chicken biryani. One of the weirdest and bad biryani I have ever tried. Who puts Peas and peppers in biryani???. I mean seeiously who does that? Call it some kind of tasteless and bland rice. It was horrible. Haven't tried the chicken Chilli masala yet, but tbh expecting nothing at all from it. Bad experience with the restaurant. Wont be ordering from here any more.

Normally reliable, but this time they forgot the poppadoms, and every dish was disappointing - maybe a new chef? Dry rice, disappointing tikka paneer, even the onion salad did not have any coriander and was bland. After 4 or 5 good meals, this one was very poor.

Food was appalling like the bhagia was like eating plastic. Obviously stale and refried. The kebab was not much better. Very disappointed.

Food arrived 2hrs after placing order. We tried numerous times to call the restaurant to cancel our order but a constant busy line that we came to the assumption that the restaurant had blocked any calls coming through on purpose. No contact from the restaurant to say it would be running late. Food was only luke warm we had to reheat it. I don’t think we will be returning to this take away anytime soon.

OK first - the delivery time was hour - 1 20, which is plenty, but they still managed to be late so the food was lukewarm at best. The dhansak was fine but the naan was doughy and tasted undercooked, we ended up throwing it away, My friend said the same thing about his paneer - said it tasted like someone opened a jar of sauce and slapped it on the paneer., he said go to Regency to see how it should be done. We won't be ordering again.

The BEST tikka masala I’ve ever had!!

I pre ordered the food for when everyone was home, the order was delivered 90 minutes early, not everyone was in to have it at the time so we called the restaurant who reluctantly agreed to re do the order. The order then showed up 40 minutes after that, when we called up to say it was still 50 minutes too early and the food was stone cold (it had obviously been sat in the back of the car, rather than it being remade fresh for the correct time). We asked the delivery man to wait while we called the restaurant but he left and when on the phone to the manager he refused to collect the the order and replace it or to collect it and refund it. The manager was rude, sarcastic and has the worst customer service skills I’ve ever encountered. I thought I’d try a new Indian out but I strongly regret that! I really do recommend avoiding this restaurant. A good recommendation is The Curry Mahal or The Jafflong, their food is amazing every time, the staff are competent and they are always polite and go above and beyond the service you expect to receive.

Won’t be ordering again, don’t know what’s happened to this place used to be great.

The food was lovely but was very late being delivered and the food was cold and some of the dishes had leaked out of containers all over the other items in the bags. Have used them before but really disappointed this time. takes the point out of a take away when you have to reheat the food and clean the mess off the items from spillage first.

I ordered my food @ 17:00 and @ 17;30 my daughter arrived home and between 17:30 @ 17:40 my daughter made an independent order to the same restaurant, within a few minutes my order was delayed and when the delivery driver turned up very late for my order and slightly early for my daughters order I found the bread for my starter was soaked through and had nearly disintegrated And after throwing this away I tried the main dish and found it was very cheery and not very nice almost as if it had been sitting in a warming oven for three quarters of an hour. My daughters food was very nice and up to the usual standard of this restaurant. I phoned and complained and during the discussion they admitted they had delayed my order so they could deliver them together . I have used this restaurant frequently and this is the first time I have had an issue with them, there usual standards are very good.

Firstly I don’t appreciate being yelled at by your delivery driver because he was waiting all of 4 minutes for me. Considering I had already apologised there was no need for him to shout at me with regards to my address. (I order from you guys a lot I just made a mistake). The food was tasty, lamb was a bit tough but the portions are tiny. Not often you get curry’s in the small silver trays (normally where the rice goes) so value wise not worth it as most curry houses around the area the portions are much nicer. Food is generally tasty but everything else let it down. Please teach your delivery driver some manners in future as his rudeness really upset me and spoilt my evening. You don’t know what anyone Is dealing with so you may tell them to have a tiny bit of respect. Such a shame as I won’t be ordering or eating in here again.

I ordered 3 different biryani’s…. maybe the style of food is from a different region but these were curry’s not biryani’s. Tasted okay, not great but did arrived hot and on time. Thanks but don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.
