Bellyboos in Great Yarmouth

Visited today and it was sooooo good. We had a couple of the Easter specials - milkshake and hot chocolate and a kinder dipping platter. The staff were super nice and very friendly.😍

I absolutely loved my visit! Well over due I must admit. I choose the flake shake 😋 it was splendid 👌 and I also choose the biscoff stack of pancakes and wow they were made to perfection, taste was absolutely perfect, and surprisingly not sickly at all! I'd highly recommend. I'll be visiting agian!

Ordered a brownie with hazelnut chocolate ice cream and a tea with soy milk. My friend ordered a brownie with bubblegum and strawberry ice cream. I didn't drink the tea at all because it was really cloudy with small clumps of something (maybe the milk) inside. We both found the brownie awful. The ice cream was mediocre, I'd probably opt for store bought ice cream instead. My friend liked his ice cream however. We both found the service really uninviting; the lady at the till stood there expecting us to know how it all works (it was our first time there), e.g. I asked for one scoop of ice cream, and she responds "okayyy... what one?" and scoffs. Generally it was just a weird and hostile vibe. I was excited to try the place as it looked really cute, but definitely won't be going back. It's style over substance there.

I’d like to say thank you to the couple running Belly Boos down the lanes today. They were closing up but saw our family hovering outside as we were hoping for a pit stop with the Kids and saw this place half an hour earlier. They turned the light back on for us and attended to our much needed rest before taking the kids home. You guys didn’t have to, but you did and that kind of customer service and care goes along way. I just hope we didn’t hold you up too long. Many thanks, the last minute family of four.x

Amazing food and service. Pancakes with bacon and syrup with a hot chocolate. Can't get better than this on a winter morning.

Fantastic place for a vegan with a tonne of allergies. And as you can see, it was dog friendly!

Great place for a treat , will visit again

Great food that looks and tastes amazing.

Upon first glance at the menu, it looks very expensive for what it is. However, not only are the food and the milkshakes amazing but the customer service is superb. The staff here are so lovely and go above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable and feel welcome. The atmosphere is so relaxed, normally when I try out a new place I feel out of place but that is not the case here. It is so worth the money and we will be returning soon!

Definitely one of my new favourite dessert places in Norwich. The biscoff dipping bowl is perfect for satisfying a biscoff craving, so is the Kinder Bueno bowl. Will definitely be back!

Really great for remote working

I ordered the Biscoff shake and OMG it is to die for! Not only is it topped with the famous biscuit drizzled in Biscoff sauce it also contains a slice of Biscoff cheesecake wrapped in cream. I would highly recommend this for any Biscoff fan out there. Been going to Bellyboos since they first opened in Gorleston and I’ve never been let down by how tasty their shakes are and how friendly the staff are

Was there today. Really friendly staff and allow us to take the dogs inside. Shakes was really good as well. Just read a few comments on here. I Wonder how thick people are. I Had to pay more for Soyamilk. Wow that's a surprise,He?? What do you pay in Supermarket for it?? The Shakes a giving me Diabetes. Do you Not know that before you walked in there?? I Hope you Said the Same about McD, Burger King, KFC , Greggs.... . Ridicoulous comments on here. We never had Problems with the stuff. Maybe you behave liked bell...s??

Ventured up the discreet entrance to treat my son. Had a Biscoff sundae that he absolutely loved and was very tasty if I do say so myself! Worth a look if you fancy a treat, the stairs up to Bellyboo's are next to Schuh.

So so good, so many options! Left feeling super full from so much sugar 🤣 will definitely come back!

Quirky place to stop for a cuppa. Was very peaceful until noisy family turned up. Kids were okay, this was the adults.

I have been at Bellyboos before in the past, it needs more healthier options such: allergies- milk, eggs/fish, shellfish/tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybean.Certain foods, particularly: soy, eggs and milk/ vegans, plants- based, dairy-free/pescetarians, low-fat

Love Belly Boos milkshakes are lush, couldn't get our phones to work to download the menu so felt abit rushed to order, and the pancakes didn't taste fresh abit rubbery, but love the new shop alot more space.

Limited food available and over priced

Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, has a nice rustic feel within the restaurant and the desserts are amazing. Would definitely recommend walking a few extra metres into town to come here as oppose to an over priced ice cream on the sea front.

Lovely friendly and patient staff, great atmosphere and seating area. Love that they are selling a wide range of sweets, which are very tasty. Also enjoyed the chocolate milkshake. Will definitely be back to try the bubble tea!

The shake and cheesecake was lovely!! However the obnoxious guy that served us was just down right rude, this puts me off ever coming back.

Fantastic everyone should try this place

We were looking for somewhere to grab a coffee and stumbled onto BellyBoos. What a delightful and unique place. Needless to say once we saw the menu we ditched the coffee idea (although that was still an option) and went all in for the milkshakes and sundaes. They were super indulgent and delicious. Great little cafe. Will definitely return when back in the area.

Visited here with a friend as we were in Gorleston for a day out. After looking at the extensive menu we decided on the Strawberry Surprise and Eton Mess milkshakes - WOW. Defo worth a visit

Tasty freak shakes definitely recommend the oaty shake.

Would have loved to give 5 stars. The pancakes and milkshakes were very good. Unfortunately we didn't actually get what we ordered. Ordered two sundaes but got two milkshakes instead. Fine, mistakes are made but upon pointing this out we were pointed to the sign at the till that Belly Boos refuses to rectify mistakes. This seems like a poor strategy for encouraging repeat business, hence the 3 stars only.

My daughters 1st bubble tea omg she has rated it" so lush" and said this is her favourite place for a treat. Staff helpful and felt safe sitting inside with all covid 19 policies in place. By the way my daughter ordered strawberry with mango 🥭 bubble tea. I had a lovely black coffee. A little gem in the highstreet. A must visit

After years of ignoring my wife's subtle hints of coming to Bellyboos for a birthday treat, I decided now was the best time and I wasn't wrong. During these strange times we are living in supporting local businesses is key to bouncing back so off we went to Gorleston for a walk and a treat. We entered the building following the one way system and sanitised our hands at the sanitise station, we then ordered our shakes over the counter which was fitted with a screen and put down our contact details as requested. We were then asked after we had finished to put our napkins and straws into the bid which we did. I had the T.N.T served in a Nutella jar which was amazing the other shakes were a Biscoff cheesecake, chocolate mayhem and a Kinder Special. The staff were very friendly and professional and the experience was excellent just ashame it had taken me this long for the subtle hints to drop. Will be coming back again and again for different treats.

The ice cream in a “tub” wasn’t really in a tub. It was in a glass bowl! Big difference.

Never have I ever been so sick after eating somthing, overpriced and the attitude of the staff was dreadful will not be returning as I don't fancy paying over the odds for gut ache and diabeatus, owners are rude wouldn't let me put less than 1 star

Great service, fantastic sundaes and milkshakes

This place is a gem! Visited with the family on Saturday for takeaway and left with 6 delicious milkshakes.I had the Biscoff one and it was superb. The creations here are a sight to behold, just ignore the calorie count.The menu is exciting, the staff are friendly and welcoming and their creations are fantastic.Love this place and will revisit time and time again.

We took a trip out here especially for bellyboos after seeing Facebook photos for months. We took our 2 young children. Our son isn’t a massive fan of chocolate but loves sweets and they went out of their way to look after him and make him his own special milkshake. All the milkshakes came together and absolutely looked the part. I love that it’s all about appearance here but the flavours were exceptional too. Absolutely love this place and I’m crazing to go again already. Kids loved it. Lovely place.

If you have a sweet tooth then this is for you. Milkshakes, sundaes and ice creams to die for. Service is good and the staff are very friendly. If you don't have a sweet tooth then other non sweet options available.

Called in today, for the first time (but not the last) to Betty Boos. Great decor, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely Latte ( piping hot just as I like it!) and an interesting menu with the most amazing variety of milkshakes ever!

Horrible place rude staff untidy.

My daughter has been crazing me to take her to Bellyboos and she loved it. I really liked what they have done to the old bank. Service was nice and quick. The staff were friendly. We had pancakes and they were very filling.

Delicious milkshakes, good pancakes and amazing ice cream place. Kids love this place too. They even do Harry Potter chocolate wand. :) Staff is very friendly and the place is busy but very clean.

I love this place and I think it's the only place in gorlestorn to get American candy and decent ice cream and milkshakes not only that but the staff are incredibly nice and kind.

Have been a couple of times before and the food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Came today and it's closed. It says on Facebook that it's open but apparently it doesn't look like it's open very often. Thought it would be open on a Saturday lunchtime. Very disappointed.

We had the misfortune of dealing with the owner on a recent visit, as many other reviewers have also had. We had been a few times before with no other customers, but on this occasion there were a few. We went in and found a table, there were several available - however we didn’t see the sign that said wait to be seated - I think as every other time we had been we were to just sit wherever. When asking for the menus the owner made it quite clear that we were not welcome after seating ourselves, belittling us in front of other customers. We obviously just chose to leave and not rise to him.We then went to a chain restaurant for ice creams with some great service - I can only presume his business performs very well as he doesn’t need to look after customers.

We LOVED it here! First visit as recommended by my friend Graham. It won't be the last. We are on holiday and spent the day at Gorelston and had to visit Bellyboos. It won't be our last visit either. Staff were brilliant even though they were really busy. You must visit!

We visited with another couple. The staff and Owner were fantastic. The building is in a converted bank and the benches and tables are made out of reclaimed pallets and Youngerman style planking. As a whole it gave a good ambiance. Great choice of deserts of which we each had different ones. Milkshakes, sundaes, etc. See photos.I believe the prices are reasonable and quality of the food very good.Should I holiday in the area again I would definitely visit this premises again for more delightful ice cream deserts.I definitely recommend this ice cream parlour to any ice cream lover.

Nice little treat! Food and drinks were presented lovely! They offer kids sizes of the milkshakes too which is good! My main comment has to be the staff. They were wonderful. The man who greeted us was very welcoming, he came and spoke to us during our time there too which was nice. The other members of staff all seemed really happy, which doesn’t happen many places you go! There was smiles all round which just made the whole atmosphere great. They also have a selection of unusual sweets and drinks to purchase which all looked interesting. Will definitely be back as my daughter said on leaving it’s her new favourite place!

The most fantastic spot for a family treat in the area. If you love ice cream ( and who doesn't?) this is the place for you. Great choice of ice cream, milkshakes and sweets with decent coffee and tea for the grown ups or those who are watching their waistline. A hidden gem well worth searching out!

This is an unusual setting shabby chic/industrial been tastefully refurbished. There are rows of old fashioned jars of sweets.On the menu are a vast array of milkshakes,smoothies,coffees and hot chocolate,icecreams and pancakes.I chose the pancake with fruit and icecream and a toffee sauce I also had a coffee the food was very good I think the pancakes are microwaved as they were a little bit rubbery but all in all very good with pleasant surroundings and staff were friendly.

Wow! After family/social media hype, we felt we must visit. The gentleman who saw to us was a lovely,charming and very welcoming. The menu was exciting but the option of a sundee rather than shake I was not aware until mentioned (point) the visit was well worth it, but very sweet, perhaps a bland lol option should also be available? Top effort and a worthy trip ty

Amazing food and friendly staff and great service

I had the best expresso ever in one of the best coffee shops l have visited. My wife said her latte was also one of the best. Situated in what use to be a bank some of the original features are still there, such as the strong room minus the money. Apart from original features many of the chairs and tables are made from recycled wood from pallets etc.

Visited a few times now and my opinion still stands, the staff always seem in a bad mood which doesn't make it feel very welcoming. It does get busy so if you're coming a way specifically for this then I would advise you book a table in advance to not be disappointed. The shakes are always delicious, I can't comment about the pancakes as whenever we try order them they always seem to have a reason why they're not doing them today.

Love these ice-creams and milkshakes - not cheap but great for a family treat! And much better now they've moved into bigger premises.
