I often dine at Bella Napoli in Brighton, and it is always a fantastic experience! The pizza here is truly amazing—crispy, flavorful, and topped with the finest ingredients. But the real standout for me was the pasta carbonara with parmesan —it’s nothing short of heavenly! Every bite was pure perfection. To top it off, they serve a latte that’s an absolute must-try—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. If you’re unsure of what to order, I highly recommend you just go ahead and pick anything from the menu—you won’t be disappointed. Bella Napoli is a gem with amazing staff.

Not the cheapest place to eat but by far the most authentic! The food is worth every penny, service is too notch and the atmosphere is always amazing. Definitely somewhere to try if you want proper and fresh food...beware though, the portions are big so you get enough for breakfast!

Hands down one of the best experiences of authentic quality Italian food in the UK! Not even restaurants in Italy can give you what I got in Bella Napoli. Pizza - perfection, pasta with sea food, my goodness, it was divine. The service from the guys was like I was in Italy again and much better 😊thank you guys, you made our dinner incredibly good and our short stay in Brighton unforgettable ❤️see you soon !

Met with family for pre Christmas get together, nine people and two dogs, no booking, the staff were very helpful and found us a large table, food was delicious as it always is, service was excellent, definitely a favourite restaurant of ours.

Recommended by a friend to us but I wouldn’t bother going back tbh. Service was slow and inattentive, atmosphere a bit like a geriatric home. Food was fresh but absolutely tasteless, it was as though the ingredients had only met 2 minutes before being served, pasta in a cream sauce tasted just like cream had been poured over the pasta, no flavour whatsoever beyond cream, certainly no garlic or salt, and certainly not a sauce. Chicken was cut in generic cubes like some ready meal and looked boiled. Drinks were nice but food was a chore to eat. The chef clearly hasn’t tasted the food before it left the kitchen. With much better Italians in town with set menus etc and much tastier food, I won’t return to this one sadly

Really good Italian food in the Marina. All food is freshly prepared, although the waiting time for the main was a bit long, so make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy your food. The service was nice and welcoming, definitely coming back.

DO NOT COME AND EAT AT THIS PLACE !!! I came here once, and who I'm guessing was the owner didn't know I was Italian and I could understand everything he was saying. It was disgusting!!! He was making very racist comments towards the clients behind their back, then he embarrassed his staff in front of his clients, he was also telling his staff off - a young English guy and a pizza chef (I believe he was from Egypt but I'm not sure) - because they had to learn to speak Italian with him. All the staff looked miserable, I felt for them. I was just shocked, I couldn't wait to leave that place. Trust me, you don't want to give this man nor his business a single penny. And you can definitely find better Italian restaurants elsewhere!

Reading the reviews here I’m not surprised by the way we were treated yesterday. I used to go there with my husband and kids for food, food is ok - not great. I found myself in the area recently with my 3 year old and twin babies. It was Monday around 6 pm and my eldest asked for a cake before heading back home . We’d had coffee and desserts after meal there before, so I assumed it would be ok to serve us the same without meal. We were allowed in by a chap who obviously hates his job, doesn’t speak any English and very heavy heartedly opened the door for us. But then we were literally kicked out by a rude supposedly manager because I explained we were going to have coffee and dessert only. The restaurant was almost empty, no more than 4-5 tables were occupied, it was the least busy evening of the week- Monday 6 pm and still decided to open the door and show the way out to a woman pushing a double buggy with two babies and holding the hand of a 3-year old. I've been coming here for years. It's the go to place for family celebrations. Always good service and good food. Really family friendly not just family tolerant. So glad they survived lockdown.

We visited after a trip to Sussex University. Very friendly waiters, service a little bit slow and one of our party didn't get the drink they ordered but it was quickly rectified. I don't generally choose a restaurant for the quick service, it's all about the food for me and this place has good food. I ordered a pasta dish with spare ribs, the portion size was very generous not like the meagre portions you get in the Italian style chain restaurants but the price was comparable. Others in the party ordered pizzas which looked very authentic. I saw another table order seafood starters and they looked superb. Most Italian restaurants in the UK are either chains or wildly expensive so it's great to visit a proper Italian restaurant that offers good food at reasonable prices.

Desearía haber tomado fotos de la comida ahora, pero era tan encantador que me metí directamente antes de siquiera pensar en ello. Very rude manager when we made a complaint, OK if you like being called BOSS ! Raw muscles for starter. Veal , well, think it was a week old and the breadcrumb was mixed with wallpaper adhesive. If you go here. GOOD LUCK.

Ordered Prawn avo cado, was okayish but mussels starter came out half raw, sent back and second time lovely. My husband ordered seafood risotto which looked lovely HOWEVER, I ordered my comfort dish, escalope of veal Milanese with spaghetti and green salad garnish. Where do I start.. my veal was grey, if you could spot it from within the soggy, tasteless crumb. The green salad garnish was half a cos lettuce and the pasta in tomato sauce was very acidic. This is a dish I've grown up with and OMG, I hope it hasn't put me off!!!!! We did NOT go out for a meal to complain BUT it could not be helped!!! We eventually spoke to the owner/manager,? Who told me I should of ordered another dish if not happy and persistently, called my husband "BOSS"....So after our conversation, our two beers, 1 bottle of house vino (which was half drunk, we took with us,) and starters came to just over £52.00.....it was shocking and spoilt our penultimate night of our holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent local Italian serving traditional dishes. I had an evening meal with my partner on a Saturday night, at the end of August. Great atmosphere! Absolutely buzzing, restaurant full. From the moment we arrived, we experienced great service from the staff, very attentive. I had the salmon pasta and my partner had bolognaise. We chose simple dishes but well they were extremely well executed and delicious. Generous portions. We shared a tiramisu for dessert which was sublime. Would recommend!

I would give them zero stars if possible.attempted to go there yesterday(to sit outside) and have coffees and cakes/deserts,a party of 6 of us.an extremely rude man turned us away,and really upset my friend in the process. Needless to say non of us will ever go there again.

Tenemos tantos platos favoritos, pero tengo que decir que el penne con costillas de repuesto y pasta de salmón tiene que ser un par de los mejores. ❤️ Bella Napoli for its decent-sized serving of authentic Italian cuisine. We stopped by again, this time for a quick lunch. As it was sunny, we opted for an alfresco curb-side table: simple aluminium chairs/tables, no fuss nor tablecloths but — we aren’t here for the deco. As always, the Scoliosis Linguine was a highlight: a good portion of crustacean with rich, deep tomato flavours and still one of our favourites. Prices for the linguini have increased since their Facebook menu showed £15.95. Now £19.50, it’s still relatively reasonable for what we got today. The starter portion of mussels in wine sauce was delightful. The Casarecce Alfredo, now priced at £14.50, was rich and creamy with chunks of chicken. The risotto served with the Osso Bucco was delicious, though the meat itself was disappointing – tough (in need of much more stewing) and someone seemed to have shaken the salt shaker like a maracas over the pot. That said, we’ll be back for pasta(s) and pizza(s), though we’ll probably pass on the Osso Bucco. One thing worth mentioning, is that Bella Napoli DON’T automatically impose a service charge in your bill. However, when the food is mostly good, we do leave one, as we did today.

Went with my girlfriend as she has been here many times before and was reasonably impressed. Busy, but not too noisy. Food was simple, yet delicious. Fresh seafood and great pasta. Main standout was the service, every member of staff was warm, friendly and attentive (Especially the older chap and Dec, the young guy). Not going to make Gordon Ramsey have a sleepless night but if you're looking for simple, honest, decent Italian fare at reasonable prices there are far worse offerings in the area. Would recommend and definitely go again.

We came fir birthday celebration. We were compelled to leave the restaurant by their unwelcoming rude staffs. We were nearly 21 guests but sadly we had to leave the restaurant. I feel very sorry for thenowner of the business

This is one of the largest and good seafood pasta that I had in the UK. The restaurant has a nice terrace outside and the staff is super friendly and they pay attention to the customers. I recommend them.

Food was good however the service did let it down slightly. We were seated at 5pm whilst it was quiet and it was a bit slow to get the waiters attention. Nice atmosphere and plenty of choices on the menu.

Lasagne was fantastic, spend over 20 mins trying to get servers attention to order a drink and found service generally a bit rude and weak. Used to be a great place and great atmosphere but obviously quality has dropped.

A busy restaurant which shows what a great family establishment it is. Amazing steak and peppercorn sauce. Whatever the red cabbage recipe is, it’s a winner. Delicious tiramisu. Thank you x

Party of 11 for dinner, we'd prebooked so no issue with seating a group. We chose a number of different menu options, for me the arancini, followed by the veal, both were OK, nicely presented and tasty. The desserts (panna cota, and banoffee pie especially) were the highlights. What let the meal down was slow service, the staff were all busy, just maybe more staff needed. Lots of free parking at the nearby multistory car park.

Stopped in for lunch after a morning trip to the movies, we shared a pizza called Ahem Ahem (I think!) and it was really, really good. Also had fries and soft drinks, also very nice.

We've been coming here for the last 25 years mainly just to have a pizza meal as its so good and succulent with all its flavours we cannot resist coming here from time to time.....one thing I thought they should do is maybe change the display of the menu as I cannot really understand some of the meals that I'm sure would be worth trying out such as ravioli but that's only one flavours they cook it with which is not my first choice as I quite like it but with beef mince... Some of the menu is not easily explanatory so I end up having the same selection...

Such an amazing meal. What really helped was Attilio taking my call when we were delayed - sending a photo of the menu and getting our food ready whilst we finished our delayed journey. This was much appreciated and helped keep us on track for our next visit. I thoroughly recommend the mussels and the sole- both were excellent, washed down with Peroni Zero!!

i think i’ve been here 3 times and i always order the linguine allo scoglio, the staff is really friendly but sometimes there are flies flying around.

Everything was fine EXCEPT waiter brought mains before we had finished our starters. WHAT ? I did point it out at the time that we thought this was wrong and we felt rushed . Unfortunate too, on our first stay at the Marina.

This place has great and fresh seafood pasta, which I highly recommend. See photo One of Brighton's best seafood pastas, in my opinion! For two individuals, it's a decent portion at a reasonable price. If the starter is as good as the main, I'll give five stars. We ordered garlic bread as an appetiser, however it was just two pieces, so it wasn't worth the money. Next time, we'll try a different appetiser. Nonetheless, the spaghetti was quite delicious, and the service was pleasant and effective. We will come back next time and definitely recommend seafood pasta here.

Some places you get great service but average food or great food and average service but Bella Napoli is great in both aspects. The staff are all amazing and the food is outstanding. You'll have a pizza and wish you got the pasta or you'll be resting they pasta and you'll see one of the amazing pizzas. This is the best restaurant in the marina off not Brighton

RACISM IS THRIVING IN BELLA NAPOLI. Sad experience I went to Bella Napoli with my girlfriend who is white and I’m a Black man (for context). The first day I went there I thought nothing was wrong but even my girlfriend could sense that there was a difference in the level of service that we was receiving. But we put it down to just being a bad experience. So a few days later we ate there again as this food spot was local to where we was staying. As soon as we entered the premises I could feel the atmosphere was off. As we entered the restaurant the waiter that approached us was very rude instead of him showing us where we was able to sit he just clicked his fingers and pointed to the direction of the table we can sit at. Whilst we sat and browsed the menu we noticed that this is not how “other” customers were being welcomed. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask for another drink due to the service I was receiving. Compared to how the staff were treating the other customers (white customers) there was a big difference for instance they would greet them and embrace them and make them feel welcomed into the restaurant. Yes, even making banter with them. What makes it worse is that when it came to paying the bill the waiter wouldn’t even acknowledge my presence he wound only speak to my girlfriend. Brighton is meant to be a place that welcomes all people but in Bella Napoli I guess you have to be white to fit that criteria.

Food was pretty good, lasagne and pizza were fine and good portions for the money. Service was not great, as they got very busy (we arrived around 5.30 and was almost empty but within 40 mins it was packed solid). The serving staff are rushed off their feet so there is no real attention paid to customers. Feels like a fast food place rather than a restaurant.

What can I say? The staff have taken a truly lovely restaurant and ruined it with appalling service. I had fondness for the food and so didn't leave a negative review until now, but this is 3 times, on the trot, that I've had such poor service I've chosen to leave rather than endure the insult just for a mediocre plate of Italian food. Be better, Bella Napoli. Hire people that actually care about customer service, and at the very least send your current staff to additional training they clearly need desperately. It was a sunny day today, I walked in, made eye contact with a staff member inside, grabbed a menu and went to the table right outside the window. My choice. I wanted to eat fairly nice food in a moderately pleasant spot of sunshine. After about 15 minutes of me looking around, trying to catch the eye of a staff member, being looked at and ignored, a brash and attitude-soaked chap poked his head outside, laughed at me, told me they're not serving outside, I said 'but I've chosen to sit outside...' he then had the gall to say 'did you tell anyone you were sitting outside?', as if a customer at a damn restaurant would need to tell the staff they intend to utilise the tables set on their venue to indulge in their services... Come on.... And then laughed at me, saying no, I'm not going to serve you outside its too cold.... The weather right now is 11° and sunny, feel free to check the reports, and moreover, I am a customer that decided to sit at a table they've provided, with no indication the outside tables were 'off limits'... So for the third time at this restaurant I simply walked away and gave my business to another eatery in the area. Supremely disappointed and as such will not go back, in addition to strongly advising every family member and friend I have to also not bother going. Great job!

A surprising find for a catch up with friends on a Sunday night. Great food, friendly service - we will be back if we are in the area to try more. Menu is plentiful with an excellent mix of pizza, pasta, meat and fish - all of which looked and tasted delicious.

Our favourite Italian Restaurant that we always recommend to people, best authentic pizza's, best food, lovely wine, I love their organic red wine, top service all staff are warm, happy, efficient & charismatic so atmosphere is great! Summer time we love to sit outside where doggies can come along with you & outside its smoker friendly. It's a place you know your going to enjoy the food & service garunteed! And lot's of free parking too!

Thank goodness there are still some real Neapolitans here to give that wonderful atmosphere of the real Napoli. It's like popping over to Naples without the hassle if the flight/train. The pizza and ice cream were delicious too.

Perhaps I am going blind, but I'm sure I ordered a bottle of the cheapest house plonk in this establishment for £17 or thereabouts. When the bill came t hey had charged me £24. I queried it with the waiter and he fluttered the wine list in front of me saying that I had ordered a carafe. No I didn't!! I ordered the cheapest bottle of sangiovese/merlot that was on the menu and he gave me a bottle.. We both ordered the chicken calabrese which was sitting on a bed of yukky pre-cooked tomato sauce that they use on the pizzas. A thick slice of salami was placed on top of the overcooked chicken and it was adorned with a rubbery cap of mozzarella cheese. It was almost inedible! The vegetables that I ordered were thick chunks of carrots, and a few sprouts of broccoli . I will always go back for a pizza but their main courses are c**p..

Atmosphere.. was terrible! When we arrived there were tables that hadn't been cleaned and no staff to seat us. We got served after customers who arrived after us. All the staff seemed stressed and unhappy. Food was nice but the staff and the cleanliness just let it down.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Went there for a 60th birthday and it certainly didn't disapoint . The steak was tender and juicy , not forgetting the fantastic flavour. The pasta was equally as good with massive portions.Very reasonably priced too.Will definitely go again next time we're in the area .....Or maybe I should move here 🙂 Thank you Bella Napoli

Popped in for an unplanned evening meal the restaurant was busy and orderly. Food tasted great, atmosphere was vibrant, staff were professional and experienced. Overall a superb dining experience. Handsome portions and good value.
