The atmosphere is very cozy, orders are prepared quickly. I liked the food 👍🏼

Walking around Edinburgh and looking for some good food to eat. Looking for a table to eat and bella Italia were quick enough to find us a table. Amazing service, quick and funny Maria got our orders down. Then the food came out in perfect timing and it was just beautiful. We were all very happy with the food and the night.

Given the crowded streets of the Royal Mile, Bella Italia stands as a bastion for a peaceful meal. With as gracious host as Maria, it turns a simple meal into a dinner amongst friends. They have a 3 foot pepper grinder.

A busy restaraunt squeezed two of in well. Waited a while to order drinks but okay. The portions were a little small but tasty. The worst aspect was the little flies that came close to the face while we were talking. People close-by were trying to catch them or wave them away. Maybe one every few minutes.

We were a party of 5 and were seated within 10 minutes without a prior reservation and what an amazing experience!! The food was absolutely phenomenal (both apps and main dishes) and the service was beyond a mazing… Dominika was the sweetest and just so great! We will definitely be back again on our trip before we go

The food is so good. Maria recommended most of our order and her recommendation was just perfect. The Lasagnia and flatbread with caramelized onion were the top👍🏽 and the service was really welcoming. She took care of us very well. I highly recommend this place 👍🏽👍🏽😍

I had bolognese for dinner here. It was nice but tomato sauce was a bit too much. Margarita pizza was amazing. Waiter Levente provided such a warm service. Definitely would return again.

The food was tasty, despite the fact that tomato sauce was a bit too much. Personally I love it, but my mom wasn't a big fan of a lot of tomato sauce. However, regardless the food was delicious. The waiter serving us was Levente, and he provided an excellent service. He was friendly and had an amazing vibe. He made coming to Bella Italia even a more positive experience.

Perhaps the most unwelcoming restaurant on the Royal Mile. We stopped in around 8pm for desert and coffee. After bring pointedly ignored for 5 minutes as we waited to be seated, we were finally acknowledged and shown to a table. When we asked for dessert menus we were told rather rudely that we had to order dinner first. So we left. Truly amazingly poor customer service in a part of town that is completely dependent on the tourist dollar/euro/pound.

Very good spaghetti carbonara. Cozy restaurant and nice waiter and a good arrangement that you can bring up the menu on your mobile and check which allergy you have and it sorts out what you can eat. Really facilitates

It was a long day, we were quite tired and ended up popping in for a bite. We had a great experience. Maria, the server, was friendly and quick. We loved the chicken Milanese and lasagna, and my husband devoured the Pollo Funghi! Would recommend.

The name is deceiving, as there is nothing like "bella". Bad food, terrible ingredients and pure illusion. If you are looking for an Italian food restaurant, try another one, one that is truly Italian, made by Italians who know the importance of using correct ingredients for each dish, especially pizza, after all, at "Bella" Italia they deliver you a pizza hut next door. instead of an Italian pizza...

The atmosphere was nice, but the pizza and special lemonade were very tasteless. Even though we met the gentleman who welcomed us at the exit, no one said goodbye to us as we got up. Due to the rude service, we did not even bother to use the free main course coupons that were sent to your e-mail the next day.
