I was very glad to have Levente as a waiter on my very first night in Edinburgh. He made us felt welcome by his kindness and never failed to gave proper care every time we had a request.

Quick and delicious Levente was very kind

We popped in for a quick lunch, the staff were friendly and helpful, Seventeen serviced us. Personally I'm glad they have introduced kids meals and they are amazing and good value!

Our server Miki was THE BEST we had while in Edinburgh. She was attentive and personable. The food was excellent and atmosphere was perfect. Great window watching, never feeling rushed. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent! I ordered a dish from the menu that contained pork, but I didn’t know that “pancetta” meant pork. Fortunately, the staff member was very kind and helpful—she explained it to me and changed my order without any issue. I really appreciated their service and cooperation. Highly recommended!

This restaurant was a great find amongst the many choices . The food was fresh and cooked to,perfection . The drinks menu has a gorgeous orange mocktail, We loved the atmosphere and the excellent service by Miki . Definitely we will visit again.😋

Food was nice although among paying I couldn’t yet feel £30 was justified for bang average , pizza could of been better and service was okay but awkward getting the bill and worker seemed annoyed regarding splitting bill , seemed that we were over charged and ruined the thought of coming back

Fast and inexpensive but you do get what you pay for. The food is bland, it’s clear this is a more of a food factory than a kitchen.

I went to this establishment for dinner. Service was quick, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. The menu was very varied (pizzas, pasta, salads, and more), and the dishes were good. The food wasn't anything special, but this establishment remains a safe bet for a quick, no-nonsense meal.

I had a great dining experience here! The pasta was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mozzarella cheese sticks were crispy on the outside and deliciously gooey on the inside—definitely a must-try. To top it all off, the cookie dough dessert was absolutely perfect—rich, sweet, and satisfying. Highly recommended!

We ate very well. One of us is celiac, and the pizza was delicious. They were very attentive to our tastes. Our waitress, Maria, was very attentive and helpful. My only complaint is that the tables are very close together.

Our first meal in Edinburgh after a day of travel. One of our children has coeliac disease, so we always need to be careful about where we eat. The food is very kid friendly and they are very careful and explain everything to you. There is lots of options on the menu for people with coeliac disease. Our server was Magda. Would come back

The personell was very unfriendly. We could not start with a drink, we had to order our meal directly as no alcohol could be served without food. Neither the guy who showed us our table nor the waitress was friendly or smiled. They were uninterested. Also the mandatory tip which was added to the check was strange. The pizza was average. We will never go there again

My family is visiting Edinburgh from out of town and decided to stop into Bella Italia. Our server Levente took excellent care of us and the food was some of the best Italian that I’ve had. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was extremely flavorful, and there were quite a few vegetarian options. The mozzarella sticks tasted fresh, and the spicy jam added to the taste. Magda, our waitress, was very polite and was able to customize the pasta we ate to meet our requirements. I'd recommend anyone to visit this restaurant while in Edinburgh. We didn't have to make any reservations. The wait time was less than 10 minutes for us to get seated.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the behaviour of one particular staff member – an older lady with white hair. 1. While we were still in the middle of ordering, she abruptly took away the menu before we had finished making our choices. 2. When we politely asked for the bill, she rolled her eyes at us and walked away without a word, choosing instead to approach the neighbouring table – even though no one there had asked for the bill. 3. After we paid (which included the service charge), she took the card machine without a “thank you” or any acknowledgement, but then turned to the next table and warmly thanked them. The whole experience left us feeling uncomfortable and frankly disrespected. We can’t help but question whether her attitude stemmed from a bias against Asian customers. As for the food: the pizza was decent, but the pasta was quite average. Overall, we would not return, nor recommend this place based on our experience.

My wife and I enjoy Italian food and we were pleased when the maitre d found us a table even though we hadn't pre-booked. However our experience here was very disappointing. The male waiter who served us has either forgotten his training or hasn't had any. He looked like he had just opened his gas bill. His customer service was zero and bordering on rude. The food was ok and when it was time to pay the bill (over £70) he just plonked the cheque down without a word. Not once did he ask if we had enjoyed the meal or make any attempt at hospitality. We left feeling very underwhelmed. I would avoid this place and find a restaurant that still values customer service.
