Bella Italia Castleford in Wakefield

We were seated at our table quickly and was served by Polly who was very friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely as always and Polly made sure we had everything we needed with a big smile on her face! Would definitely recommend.

We visited this establishment on Thursday night and I can say we will definitely return was service by a friendly waitress tia pizzas were good and no hesitations about covid rules.

Last night my husband and I visited for our 30th anniversary we were greeted at the door by a lovely blonde girl who told us our waitress would be Samantha. The menu is easy to read and has lots of choice. Samantha was beyond helpful nothing was too much even down the pouring our drinks at the table so professional and was very easy to get along with. We had a 3 course meal and every course was perfect our plates were cleared promptly and we were offered more drinks at each clearing. Was our first time here but would return just to have Samantha serve us she made our night.

We visited for my daughters birthday our waitress Samantha was absolutely amazing she couldn’t of been more attentive or happy the smile was on her face from start to finish and the way she was with out children I believe she’s the best waitress we’ve ever had, the food was amazing tasted beautiful cwmr quickly and was piping hot will return

We visited yesterday 3 adults 5 children. On seating we mentioned we had a discount code, the waitress said ok, you can't order of the lunch menu due to having the the code and that was fine with us. Food took a long time to arrive, most was ok apart from 2 lasagna that had uncooked pasta throughout, it was 4 sheets of pasta just stuck together nothing in the middle with sauce on the top and around the edges. The manager at that point was apologetic etc. End of the meal we asked for the bill, so he came over to us with it and explained he took 15 pounds off the total for the lasagna. We said we had a discount code to use and he said we couldn't due to more than 6 people, ( didn't get told that off the waitress, she said we could) he didn't amend the amount either due to us not using the code we should of paid the lunchtime menu price for our meals as most of them were on that menu. The manager was very rude, not willing to help in regards of changing the bill and also rude to his staff. Will not be returning.

Visited Bella italia with my other half last Sunday our waitress Georgia was very kind and welcoming she recommended some dishes and was speedy in her service, as we couldn’t decide on what desserts to have she surprised us and brought out a cookie dough and a choc brownie which was superb!! Will be coming here again and recommending everyone to visit!

I advise everyone not to go to Bella Italia at Xscape Castleford. Absoloute . Food was burnt to a crisp and hardly anything there. Sat at mucky seats, dirty spoon still left there along with loads of food. Floor was covered in old food not even cleaned it up before they sat us down. Ran out of deserts so made differant choice and was nothing like picture

Would not recommend to anyone !! food was horrible no meat in lasagne, they offered to remake but we were on a time limit, shouldn’t need to remake if the standards were there in the first place , two of us ordered this meal and both were exactly the same no meat but plenty of pasta sheet (the cheap ingredients) !!

We visited last night, the food was beautiful and the service was second to none, especially Matthew, attentive and on the ball. Lovely lovely place

Came here today for Dinner and my friend and I each got the Pollo Fungi. We were welcomed by a waiter called Nathan and served by the waitresses Amelia and Alicia, very polite and lovely food. Will come again.

Lovely meal! We don't get to travel to Castleford as often as we like, we normally go for the snow boarding this time we decide to give bella Italia a try, our starters was lovely and the main course was even better our waitress chloe was spot on kept checking everything was alright making sure we had drinks which the Italia larger is definitely worth a try my girlfriend love it, was a nice ending to our day and will be visiting again the next time we are there!

MATT OUR WAITER WAS COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT. our meal was fresh and very tasty and we really enjoyed it, the restaurant was fairly quiet and we took our time an date meal and dessert with a couple glasses of wine, couldtnt fault it

For what are pretty basic dishes the food is overpriced. Another family claimed they were our party and took our reserved table - not blaming BI for that but maybe a free drink or a discount would smooth the waters in this situation. We ordered ice cream for dessert and were sat watching it melt for at least 5 minutes before we were brought spoons. Underwhelming dining experience.

Came to Bella Italia for the first time tonight. 30 min wait for food but was worth the wait. Was a bit disappointed about a lot of the food wasn't in but managed to get a reccomendation off our server, Hannah. I was given really good service by Hannah she was lovely all the way through our stay even with my little boy she managed to keep him entertained and quiet. Most certain will be coming here again.

I visited Bella Italia Castleford this evening to celebrate my birthday and I have no complaints what so ever! I visited with my 3 of my friends. We were greeted with a warm welcome by a very polite waiter and shown to our table straight away. The atmosphere was fantastic, Carla our waitress was very polite and helpful also. The food came out quick and was delicious. Very impressed all round and I will definitely be returning over the Christmas period with my family!

When we arrived at 5:25 we were told to wait by the door while the waitress made a table for us. However, the two groups who came in after us managed to get sitted before us, despite the fact that there was only 3 of us! Eventually we sat down and ordered drinks, which took 15 minutes to arrive, which was when the waitress asked for our orders. Another 45 minutes passed before the starters arrived and a further 25 after that before the main eventually came! The food was average to say the least, and to be fair if i wasnt paying 14.95 for a pizza i would have probably enjoyed it. Finally, to top it off, this ordeal had to be endured in a boiling hot room with the constant shouting of the kitchen staff being heard in the background.

I actually like Bella Italia restaurants, some are clearly better than others, and I think it's fair to say that this is the worst, by a considerable margin.The food is pretty much up to the usual BI standard, but the service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I am naive enough to have been twice, having believed the manager's excises for the dire service the first time. Fool me twice, shame on me. I have no idea whether all BI outlets are company owned or whether some are franchised but whatever the reason there is no excuse. The Pizza Express at Xscape is excellent as is Nandos so don't even give Bella Italia a try.

This restaurant has recently undergone a refurb and looks great. We had a fantastic night and enjoyed every moment. The only slight critism was the long wait for drinks but the restaurant was packed and extremely busy so was understandable. There was a bit of a wait for food but we were entertained by a magician who was hilarious and really good. The food was worth the wait. We all ordered the ribs and asked for it with new potatoes the ribs come straight off the bone and were absolutely amazing. We had a voucher to save 25% with O2 priority and the waitress was extremely helpful helping us to log onto their wifi so we could make this saving as we had low signal on our mobiles. Overall I would fully recommend to anyone as we all had a great night and the service was extremely friendly

Most of the restaurants in the Xscape center offer lunch menus for aprox £6-7. We opted for Bella Italia. It's a chain of restaurants so going in we knew that it was never going to be home made food. Burger looked lovely. Pasta dishes were a good size, obviously reheated so a bit mushy but fine. Can't go wrong for that prize

Me and my two children have eaten here twice in the last two weeks, after visits to the cinema.On both occasions, the food was excellent, the service was fantastic and atmosphere was welcoming. All the staff made my children feel welcome and we certainly intend to go back!!
