What as happened to crustys? Use to be my go to takeaway but seems to be far too expensive since it reopened

Honestly, I order take-always far too often, but I’m always impressed with the food, even when the menu changes, there is consistency in quality, extremely short delivery times and extremely personable and friendly staff. I couldn’t rate them any more highly than this. An absolute pleasure and always make me so happy.

Ordered two smash burgers, garlic fries, mac and cheese and a biscoff milkshake the fries and burgers were okay, nothing special for the price. I originally ordered mac and cheese balls which were available on the website however I received a call to say they were unavailable and was it okay to have a mac and cheese box instead. The mac and cheese is literally tinned heinz mac and cheese. It was cold, watery and disgusting! The biscoff milkshake was nice but tiny for £5.50.

I’m a big believer of leaving honest reviews as without being honest they’re useless! First of all, it is 10 o’clock in the evening.. First appearances the shop is very dirty understandably if they’ve been busy . All the seats inside the waiting area were all ripped and also very dirty, clearly not one day dirt.. Out of the three people I saw working in the shop not one of them was dressed appropriately or clean… To be fair, the prices of the food weren’t bad and the food didn’t taste bad portion sizes were more than adequate presentation in a cardboard box was poor with grease over the boxes .. .. this is not a negative review. It’s just an honest one and hopefully the people that own the shop will take on board the cleans of their shop from an outside point of view., I think my experience here would be much better if there was more care in the cleanliness ..

This is usually one of our favorite spots to order from. Really disappointed with the cheesy fries which are now covered in cheese sauce instead of regular cheese. Also the pizza was cold and tasted uncooked. We tried the smash burger for the first time which was okay but overpriced £7.50 for a small burger with no fries. Overall we are unhappy with the quality of food and taste.

The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy and flavorful, a standout dish. Even as someone who typically steers clear of chicken wings, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. Both dishes are definitely worth a try!

Ordered their Smash Burger and tenders.. Smash burger was really juicy and full of flavour. Tenders also were delicious 😋

Just got my order now the best tenders i ever had and the desserts were mind blowing I'll recommend everyone to try their donuts and lave cake brilliant🤩

We ordered a take away for six people on a Sunday evening, it was delivered quickly by a friendly chap, the food was nice and hot and tasted lovely. Would certainly order again….i have reviewed this take away in November 2023 and I have to say they are excellent booth times we have ordered we have been impressed

We've been ordering here for years. Pizzas, Currys, burgers, sides, starters etc etc and it's hands down the best takeaway in Ackworth!!!!

Selling uncooked chicken and wouldn't make things right avoidat all cost

First time ordering recently as we've just moved in and couldn't be bothered to cook after a long day of unpacking and moving furniture. Can I just say, it was incredible. We only ordered one large meal (with a salad included) to share and it was ample for both of us. Really tasty and hot even though it was delivered. (We looked on the map afterwards and realised that it's just down the road - oops, we'll collect in future). Really impressed and I think that we'll be ordering again and again. 10/10.

Best spicy chicken pizza and especially sauces.

Fast service, good price and the pizzas/Calzone/chips are amazing. Full of flavour, super fresh and generous with the toppings. We will be ordering from you again :)

This is a great place to heat your tea and it has very good food you can also get a family meal for a get cheap price

If you are going to open a fast food shop in Ackworth , in a literal British, English speaking village, it would certainly help to be able to speak the language 🤔 pathetic service.

That was the worst take away ever. Wrong order and it was so cold. I don't usually write reviews if there bad. I just don't go again... It was that bad iv got to warn others. TERRIBLE. I was sent wrong order and I would have eaten it if it wasn't so cold. Got a refund in the end but it was like pulling teeth. The staff and owner was terrible.. Never again...DISGUSTING

After my order was late by over half an hour, my call was greeted by a little child who couldn't have been any older than 10 who took more minutes than years he has been alive to find out an update on my order. Absolute joke

DISCUSTING.... Put a large order in a good 2 hours early to arrive at a certain time so would be there warm for everyone when they arrived.. It came a hour early.. And it was not what we ordered and hardly any toppings on the ones that were right.. Very basic .. Looked like they had come from a freezer shop.. TERRIBLE. Rang to complain and got Rude reply..

Superb pizza's and very good value for money.

Previously had good food but had a mixed grill where chicken was so overcooked that it was inedible whereas onion bajis weren't fully cooked so masses of flour

We usually order their kebab & fries - This time, we Decided to try their curries: chicken Bhuna & a seafood Balti. Both curries, were sloppy, watery, and lacked any taste (bland) & the seafood curry should have been advertised as a prawn curry as it contained no fish whatsoever! So disappointed. We Won’t be ordering any curries from there again.

Absolutely love this place if you want a Currie this is the place to be. Proper food high quality would definitely recommend to anyone. I work as a chef and this place surprised and impressed me.

Best curries in the area, bar none. Don't bother wasting you money going anywhere else. Whoever is the chef deserves medals or awards or something. Absolutely beautiful food

Please don’t buy from here ..I don’t usually review ,,but the food my young son got from this place was not only ..the wrong order when delivered ,, it was not fit to eat ,, nor would they send the correct order ..they wanted us to pay again .. use at your own peril ..you have been warned

Had about 10 takeaways from here. Pizza and kebabs always good quality. Good value for money and easy online ordering. Forgot an item one time but apologised and made up for it next visit.

Complained about blue roll being in my meal , the man laughed and offered me a replacement..... no dont think so put me off .....so got refund and bottle of pepsi still not happy wont come again just due to customer service

Totally disappointed, order delivered was wrong, phoned with concerns I got told they were busy. To be honest it’s put me off and I don’t think I will be ordering again. Food was dry and overpriced. Crusty’ always went the bit extra, but on this occasion failed - massively

Since recently moving to the area we have been looking for a good pizza takeaway. We ordered from here since reading good reviews on foodhub but were disappointed with the service we received. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive which is understandable when busy however only half of the order arrived and the pizzas that did come were cold and had the incorrect toppings. We called up and were advised they could send out the chips in 40 minutes and they couldn’t give us the bottle of coke we had ordered and paid for for some reason. They sent 2 cans of coke instead even though I had paid for 2 litres...very disappointing as the pizza was nice and we would have ordered from here regularly if we had had a good experience and any form of customer service

A brill staff, very polite and outstanding pizzas. The curries are one of the best I’ve hand. Definitely one of my favourite takeaways and glad to have found it.

Shocking takeaway, the past 3 times ordering they have got the order wrong. The same person who has taken the orders seems clueless in what he’s doing. How many times do you have to tell someone you want chicken and not donner?

Inedible, waste of money. Garlic chicken starter was so dry it was un chewable it had gone red and hard on the outiside. Shop recons its cooked fresh. The currys were watery mush rank

Over 2 hours and still waiting. Called up after 1hr 30mins...and told will be another 20mins. Phoned backed 30 mins later (after 2 hours from ordering) and (I quote) "your pizza is just going in the oven"....

Every meal from Crusty’s has been absolutely excellent. Tonight there was a mistake with my order. I always believe that mistakes happen but it’s how they are dealt with that matters. They apologised several times and sent me a whole new delicious order within 15 minutes without any argument so I am more than happy. Great food and great customer service. Excellent.

Ordered a chicken bhuna with pilau rice and it was beautiful. The curry was full of flavour with massive pieces of chicken and it was piping hot. My rice was really nice and much nicer than I thought as I’ve never tried it before. The staff in the shop are really friendly with a very quick service. Would definitely recommend eating at crusty’s and I will definitely be ordering again

We have never had a bad meal from this takeaway. Food is always hot and spot on. Delivery time is excellent even in peak times and the delivery is friendly.

On the saturday the 11th April 2020 I ordered a curry..chips..shami kebab..and poppadoms..now something about the curry wasnt quite right and the taste didnt sit right with me so I left the curry after a couple of bites...skip forward to 1am Sunday morning I had a raging fever shaking and a huge headache...sickness and diarrhoea I was up all night ..now I'm pregnant so I was starting to worry what was wrong with me...I finally come round on Tuesday.. on Wednesday my midwife did tests and Sunday morning the 19th she rang me back with results to say I had contracted ecoli ....I'll let you do the math.

I can’t fault the service and absolutely loved the food piping hot and full of flavour, we have just moved into the area and will definitely use again we had a chicken Karahi which had beautiful big chunks of chicken breast and was a massive portion which fed 2 adults we also ordered a mixed kebab which we have saved as we were too full.

Brilliant pizzas, had an issue with a burger and chips but was quickly rectified. I have started using this place on a regular basis and I am very impressed with the quality.

This place is delightful. The pizzas are great and the curries, though seemingly quite bare recipe wise when compared to dedicated Indian restaurants, are also really tasty. Often get the Jalfrezi or the garlic chilli lamb.

You have to try this place. Burgers are great, Pizza great but best of all the Curries are Outstanding. The Bombay Fish curry is the finest curry I have ever had. Great food and even better value for money

Since this establishment opened, I've visited a handful of times. Orders have been for pizzas, mostly although there's a range of kebabs, curries, burgers and sides. In spite of the "Pizzeria" tag on the business sign,and the way Trip Advisor has listed this establishment, they are primarily an Indian.They offer meal deals, take card payments and deliver in the local area.I've enjoyed all my meals up to press and will keep popping in.
