Terrible experience. We booked but we're told no room when we arrived. I insisted they seat us and honour the reservation but he said we cannot wait inside and had to wait in the cold whilst he tried to sort this out. Eventually after keeping us in the cold and no communication, I went inside and he said he can seat us. We then waited to order and he ignored us. When we eventually pushed him to take our order, he said he was busy and we had to wait as there is a queue. We ended up walking out...he didn't want us there and made it very uncomfortable...

We love Persian food and for a day out in London had lunch here. The food was fantastic and really authentic. The chef is not afraid to use herbs and spices and knows how to do it really well. Service was excellent. Friendly and welcoming. Staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the dishes. We had a leisurely and immensely enjoyable lunch. Belgrave is a small restaurant, off the beaten tourist trail, yet only 10 minutes from St John’s Wood tube station just off Abbey Road. Well worth the detour and excellent value for money.

Wandered in on Bank Holiday Monday. A return visit. Warm welcome. Good house wine. A very late lunch/brunch -3.30pm ish. We shared a four-choice mezze & bread. Delicious. The dark aubergine was divine, my favourite, very "meaty". The tomato/aubergine with a fried egg on top - equally delicious & different flavours, mum's favourite. We had a super yoghurt dip & an egg/ potato special with gherkins. All super. Staff lovely, decor original. Everything very fresh. A great go-to 🥰. We'll return again.

Its a little bit far from the city and doesn't worth to go out of the city. Very small portion and few tables. You have to know it is not same any Iranian cuisine. If you are hungry go to some where else. Friendly staff

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place. There are some great signature dishes; the Tachins are just brilliant. The Sharing board is a big recommend and I very much enjoyed their lamb shank. I need to go here far more than I do (I live in Cambridge). But I held my birthday here pre-pandemic (December 2019) and had a rather large crowd (20-30 people). Everyone who attended raved about the food (there were some Persians as well) so definitely do go. Honestly I've been to a ton fo Persian restaurants (I'm half and I speak the language pretty decently) but I like Belgrave as it has a great mix. (1.) Location; it's easy for parking and getting to. (2.) Service: the staff are *really* friendly. (3.) Food: the food isn't ur run in the mill; the proprietors' grandfather was an Imperial Chef (no jokes) and it shows! (4.) Aesthetic appeal; it's a beautiful place so really hits that smart but not formal spot that j'adore. (5.) Pricing: it's reasonably priced, you definitely get ur monies worth! Apologies I simply shared the picture of my party but I thought it would give an honest rendition of events (and my doggo & his friend who attended)..

The taste and presentation of the dishes in Belgrave never fail to amaze. Thank you for another lovely meal. And a special thanks to our super friendly and knowledgable waitress, Dea. She couldn't have been more attentive and helped us pick our meal when we were super indecisive on the menu (as everything sounds delicious!)

One of our favourite places! Were foodies but we don't eat out often because we've had so many indifferent, expensive experiences. We'd rather cook at home. So a place has to be pretty good for us to visit a second time. We love this restaurant for its intimacy, friendliness, and authenticity... highly recommended

We went all the way from Oxford to London to try the persian food here and I didn't get dissapointed in front of my friend! So lovely and welcoming staff. Actually this restaurant is a good representative of persian food for all those want to try it for the first time. You should know about some regular ingredients used often in persian food such as saffron, barberry, pomegranate and pistachios and you'll find all of these in nice symmetry in their food... Their significant dish "tahchin" chicken and saffron rice was beautifully trimmed and smelled amazing. Also the special lamb neck was so well cooked and delicious. I really admire the management with their creative ideas for the drinks. You'll find different ones here. (saffron beer, saffron martini and pomegranate wine). About the portions and price they're quite fair in comparison to the other places I've been. I'll definitely go back again!

I was invited here this evening to celebrate meeting my friend's fiancee and I have just been "wowed"! which is very difficult as I am very picky. The lovely lady Dea made our first encounter at Belgrave so memorable as she explained all the food and drinks, was very personable yet professional. The food, the ambience, the music, the decoration, absolutely everything makes this an amazing experience and then on leaving one can write something in their guest book - just awesome! I will be returning very soon.

Nothing to write home about. The restaurant is very small and verging om dingy/ dark. Most of the lights were flickering constantly. That's fine if you're going for a 'hole in the wall, off beaten track' vibe, but if you're markering for fine french dining in EC, maybe change a light bulb occasionally. The restrooms were pretty dirty and their decor unloved for that level of restaurant. Food wise, the bread served with the meal was wholesale cheap stuff that you would expect to see at a Premier Inn, and the butter tasted weirdly off- ie like it had begun to ferment from being left unrefrigerated for too long. Serving salted butter might be a better choice for such instance. But again, for high- level French dining, fresh whipped butter and warm fresh bread is usually a nice addition to the meal. The main meal was certainly pleasant, fresh and well balanced. Starter was trout ceviche followed by cod. It lacked any real depth of flavour and seasoning. I would expect to have just as pleasant a fish meal in any upscale seaside pub- ie tasty and fresh but not sophisticated (but probably at half the price paid here). There was no wine pairing or recommendations by the waiters. The wine was again fairly underwhelming and the selection was rather limited (which is fine if curated well, but this wasn't the case). Waiting staff were prompt, professional and friendly. The restaurant is so tiny that you find yourself bumping into them on entry and exit, however. In summation, if you have plenty of disposable income and not much time to book a reservation in advance, then this will probably just about fit the bill, but it would be better value for money to get on the Eurostar and hit the nearest bistro when you get to the other side!

Private club dedicated mainly to the Armed Forces located in central London. A sophisticated atmosphere, quality, courtesy, elegant furnishings with an antique flavor and friendly staff make this place a precious environment for members and their guests. There is also an internal courtyard where in summer you can stay outdoors eating and drinking with your guests or friends. The Club also has a wonderful library, with many volumes relating to military history. If you have the chance, stop by even just for a drink. Very easy access, as it is right in the center of London.

I recently stayed at Canopy while searching for long-term accommodation in London due to a work relocation from Shanghai. This hotel is incredibly pet-friendly, and I had a wonderful month there with my cat and dog. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to DLR, Elizabeth Line, and Central Line. Nearby, you can find Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-op, as well as numerous Chinese supermarkets and restaurants. What stood out the most was the friendliness of ALL STAFF. I would like to extend special thanks to the front desk team, the housekeeping staff, and the Guest Relationship Manager, Devika, for their assistance throughout my stay. They not only provided me with recommendations for suitable rental areas but also frequently checked on my pets. They prepared pet bowls, treats, and a cozy bed for them, and adjusted the housekeeping schedule to accommodate my pets.❤️ Without a doubt, my month here has set a positive tone for my life in London. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for those traveling with pets, as it truly is a pet-friendly haven.🐱🐶:)
