I have been to every chip shop there is from padiham & Burnley & this chip shop dose the best food I have been using this chip shop for many years the staff are brilliant the fish & chips are bostin 😛 & the prices are every good u definitely get good portions sizes for your money

Excellent food and service. The place was very busy but the staff were well organised and super pleasant. I would definitely recommend the fish scone, as they make everything fresh to order I would suggest you order 30mins prior to allow it to be prepared. You will not be disappointed 🙂

large fish was just under cooked opaque colour not white.. chios ok but far too many black bits. fish was a tad wet but put that down to seeing my other half waiting... and shop bit busy. had better had worse.... always sane here as soon as she gets in cat massive fishy smell fills car very off putting was told be a good chef good sea food should not smell excessively.... this did glad to get my wrappers out of my car..

You can't beat the OG Fish n Chips of Burnley. Chips n curry sauce salt with extra vinegar..never can get enough. Keep it up guys

We have traveled from Blackburn occasionally for a few years now and eat our fish & chips in the car before the journey home. Seems a bit silly to travel that distance just for a take away but the fish & chips are simply the best !

First visit and was not disappointed. Chilli was an unexpected menu item but grabbed me by the taste buds. It's a must try. Lovely.

Fabulous, best chippy by a country mile

We visited Belfields yesterday tea time, always welcomed with a smile from the friendly staff and the customer service is spot on! We ordered the family meal deal, good value for money and the food was delicious!! Ate every last bit, so did our fussy eater kids! Ha loved it! Really is the best chippy in Burnley!!!

Heard a lot about Belfields being the best chippy in the area , so decided to give it a try. And it did not disappoint! Went for fish , chips + curry sauce. Big portion, good price + tasted amazing! Staff were all really friendly and smiley too. Will definitely be back regularly! 10/10

Fish was nice. Chips were awful. Tasted like they were cooked yesterday & warmed up. They were very dry. They've got a 3 because of the fresh fish

Great chippy. Had sausage chips and mushy peas.

Fish, chips ,mushy peas and gravy cost me £10.35 (for 1 person) I personally think that's very expensive. Won't be back.

Always come here good chippy. One hiccup got someone else's order last night as they must have got the trays mixed up. To far to bring it back 😪 and and it was rush hour so ate it. But otherwise 5 stars. Xx

Called in for fish, chips and peas for a family “ chippy tea”. All fish cooked fresh to order , lovely hot tasty chips . Staff were very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely be back .

I arranged for 68 Fish & Chips and 11 Sausage & Chips for our office lunch. All the staff worked so hard to get this massive order to us in time and still HOT. They also threw in a large pot of peas, salt and vinegar. Never heard the office so quiet during lunch break! Thank You

Today at work we celebrated National Fish and Chip day! We bought 90 portions of Fish, chips and Peas and Sausage, chips and peas. Belfield chippy arose to the challenge and performed outstandingly! To have made that many portions and delivered them to our office still hot was no easy undertaking! but not only that the food was delicious with whale size fish and bountiful amounts of chips. no wonder Belfield is the chippy of choice in Burnley - would recommend to all

Pricey very slow to deal with customers means big queues better off you can go to bannys drive thru more choice and consistent quality

Hi Lynda. Well I came back and have to say... it was service as usual. Bright smiles and even though I haven't been for months thr lady serving me didn't even need to ask what I wanted. Pleased with the food aswell.

I have been coming to this chippy on an adhoc basis for years. Popped in today as I was in a rush and needed a bite to eat before an appointment. I ordered fish, chips and peas in a tray. The lady who took my order didn't state what the price was. The young lady who served me the food didn't ask for any money but I said I haven't paid. She looked at the till and said it was £7.45 which I thought was on the high side but I was really hungry and in a rush so I didn't question it. The food was ok but not worth the price I paid, that said I would revisit as my previous experiences have been better than this one. Maybe inflation has caught up with fish, chips and peas in Burnley!

The Good , Friendly staff,quick service .The fish and chips weren't anything special but acceptable The Bad the locations dire can't park outside very busy road parking restrictions. So used side street. Area very run down actually felt uneasy parking vehicle . No fault of the chippy experience ruined by feel of area

Easily the best chippy in burnley. Fish soft and flakey with a crispy batter, chips crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, gravey thick and delicious. No point ordering on phone as they only start cooking it when you get there as they want it as fresh as possible, so can be a 5min wait, but i'd rarther that than it be awful. Top marks

Sadley gone down hill of late. Afternoon opening advertised as 4pm no staff turning up until 4.05 pm.to then start cooking!!??? Fish and chips reheated from lunch time taste like rubber gloopy gravy. Avoid because its not cheap.

Wasn't there to eat unfortunately but wish I was. It smelt so good and that batter looked soo crispy. Was there fitting an aerial for them. If I hadn't had my tea waiting for me at home I'd of definitely bought fish n chips
