Prior to my trip from London to Belfast, I was looking for a good place to get some authentic soda bread and came across Belfast Bap online, so put it on our itinerary.. we arrived close to closing time and John was so so kind to my daughter and I, we was given thee tastiest soda bread we have ever had!! I can’t wait to come back to Belfast and try one of their baps, genuinely cannot get over how good their bread is!! Five star.. thank you again John!!

Amazing food with fantastic service didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Such great quality of food a must visit in Belfast.

There’s value for money and then there’s crazy value, this falls into the latter!! With 2 sausages, a hash brown, white pudding, 6 rashers on bacon, fried egg and ketchup. My husband’s eyes however were bigger than his belly on this very rare occasion as he had to reluctantly admit defeat!

We had the larger bap with a hash brown and black pudding as we intended to share between two of us before we even ordered. While it was being built in front of us, I thought at various points "That's enough!" but it just kept growing. I then carried it through the market to find an empty table with people wishing me luck and I was stopped so someone could take a photo! We'd brought extra baps so we could share it, but it was still too much really, even for two. Three could have a good breakfast comfortably with extra baps. £4 each for breakfast wasn't bad going. Other than the experience, the food itself wasn't that remarkable; well cooked and good quality, but essentially a large cooked breakfast. We did stand around for quite a while waiting for our order to be taken. The staff were working frantically, but struggled to keep up with the queue. They give you a beeper once your order has been taken, but from that point it's only a few minutes until the order is ready, most of the time is spent waiting for your order to be taken. It would be preferable to have your order taken earlier, so you can wander round the market waiting for the beep, but they must have a reason why they don't do that. If you arrive and there's no queue, get in there; ignore your wife saying "We'll have a look round the market first." (Can you see any hint of my experience here?) Worth having once and including it in a visit to the market itself makes it a bit more of an event.

Can't fault the food. Tasty and plenty of it. Unfortunately the staff told us it would be 30 minutes and after over an hour and 15 minutes accused us of "still complaining" when we asked how much longer it would be.

Definitely not worth it. Suppose to be quick food , told it would be 20 mins. Took 1hr 25. For the same food your would get out a snack van. Definitely avoid, lots of better traditional choices in the market.

We stoped here while at the St. Georges Market. The Belfast Bap was good even though they were out of bacon.

From the quality of the bread to the quality of the ingredients, these are the best baps in Belfast. For £5 the amount of bacon one gets in a bacon bap is incredible and the baps are the best I have tasted, Yes one might have to wait 25 minutes for your order but that is because of a) the quality and b) the popularity. You get given a buzzer so you can go for a browse or grab a coffee while waiting. Ignore the clowns who expect MacDonald's fast food quality in these reviews. My wife and I were in Belfast with 2 other couples and we came here for breakfast on the Saturday and came back on the Sunday. No issues about the small wait. Do get breakfast here, You won't be disappointed. The Belfast bap is a thing of beauty and huge!!!

The wait can be quite long but it is worth the wait! £6 for the standard Belfast Bap, very filling and delicious. All local, high quality ingredients.

Stood in the queue for over half an hour at St George's market, got to the front to be told that half of the menu was out of stock. Yet I could see that there was plenty of the items which they supposedly didn't have in boxes behind the desk, beside their fryer.. They were also still charging the full price even though the majority of the meat was 'not available'. Also to wait until the customers get to the front of the queue to tell them that things aren't available is an absolute joke Would give zero stars is I could. So to sum up, don't waste your time queuing just to be disappointed!! On the plus side, we went across to the Italian food stall and got some amazing food from there instead!

Don’t waste your time and money - save yourself the disappointment, and try elsewhere. Extremely slow and ineffective service from two incompetent staff who blame the wait time on customers and take no responsibility for the delays and confusion they have caused. They sell simple, fried food and somehow manage to balls it’s up time after time resulting in a string of unhappy customers photoed below waiting on their orders - we waited for almost an hour!! Would highly recommend you consider shopping elsewhere and enjoy one of the many other food stalls available.

The food itself is good. If anything a bit too big to manage - but good, tasty food! Unfortunately, I have to agree with most of the other reviews. It took 50 mins for the bap which is just outrageous! The stall wasn't even that busy. Particularly annoyed as I was initially told that it would take 25mins (also annoying as I was told this after I had paid - if I knew this on ordering I'd have left it).

It took 55 minutes for them to cook 3 sausage baps. What a ridiculous length of time! They had no soft baps either. Would NOT recommend because of the long wait.

I have been coming here for 4 years and it never disappoints. It is worth the wait and the new buzzer system allows you to tour the market while it is beibg prepared. I strongly recommend the potato bread!

Absolutely awful service and extremely rude staff who were aggressive. Waited over 50 minutes for 4 baps on a Saturday morning which never came and ended up cancelling the order. Other clientele who ordered after us were served immediately so their cuing service is shockingly...

We ate hear at the Titanic museum and were not disappointed. For a museum the food was better than expected. The long line will move fast.
