Good food, but seeing the guy shoveling falafels in my wrap with his bare hands (no gloves no nothing) makes me question about the hygiene

Brilliant cheeseburgers and very family friendly. I would definitely recommend this canteen to a family with lots of children

Beirut Canteen is my go-to spot for Lebanese food! I order from them regularly, and the quality is always top-notch. Really really dry man no flavour. They gave us the wraps with no sauce or seasoning or salad after asking for all the above will definitely not be going back.

The owner refused or denied the card machine was working to make you pay in cash or use the card machine in the store. Which is closely resembles one of those typical tourist trap machines seen aboard that either charge you secret fees or worse swipes your card details. The machine magically worked when a fellow Arabic speaking patron ordered whilst in the shop. The store is likely avoiding tax and taking money from clients. Food itself was sub-par even when drunk. Would avoid

My family and I always order from them, amazing delicious fresh food. The team at Beirut are amazing even over the phone and if any order isn't correct they make sure to sort it out straight away on the same day. For regulars they take extra care. Thank you chefs at Beirut and the management

Worst chicken schwarma I ever had in London. Bland, tasteless, with zero seasoning on the meat. A huge disappointment. They use cheap rice, which is also bland and tasteless. The salad consists only of onions. This place has lost its sparkle and flavor.

I loved the food and the best food in the New Cross

I used to love this place - it was the best kebab in South London. Now it’s the neighbourhood’s biggest disappointment. Something must’ve happened but ever since they changed the menus into these lurid screens, the food quality is reliably bad. The prices are excessive. The guys seem to really not care anymore and are despondent and dismissive. My friends and I avoid this place now. Plenty of better kebabs in walking distance.

It’s the fourth time I have eaten here, the mix grill special for 2 suitable for 3 great value, the mix grill for 3 suitable for 4 today I took my whole to try so we ordered the mix grill for 4 omg we had to ask for a take away box, I’m a great lover of Lebanese food this was the best Lebanese restaurant in south London quality food, absolutely worth the visit

I always use these and normally love it I asked for no salad and u ruins it with salad loaded with lettuce that taste vile and goes all soggy and slimes in warm shawarma can’t eat so I’m very disappointed

I got served by Mohammed and the customer service was excellent, he was very friendly and answered all the questions I enquired from him.

I‘ve really enjoyed my Chicken Shawarma Salad. Great dressing on that. Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked meat, 5 stars. The service was a little confusing at first, I asked what came with the cheaper Lebanese Salad and the answer was that „You can have Chicken Salad“ which is a different, more expensive dish. But I respect the hustle. Little too much selling going on there. 4 starts. The atmosphere suffered from constant chatter in a foreign language on the counter, a broken lock in the bathroom and open doors to messy storage rooms. BUT I like interior design: Cool furniture aswell! 3 stars.

someone at the restaurant poured an entire jar of table salt into the sharwma meal making it inedible. Please get the owners to tell the chef off. This would have been a five star meal if we could have eaten it. but don't want high blood pressure!

The Algerian chef makes the best food (the best wraps I've ever had), but unfortunately these two Egyptians are there most of the time (the short one is unfriendly and the food he makes tastes awful). Whenever I see them through the window, I just pass by disappointed.

Food is super tasty. But woowwww the service is absolutely terrible - we waited over 40 minutes for a wrap and we were denied that we ever ordered fries to go with them. The guys here are kind at first but rude when you complain that it’s taken too long. I sympathise with them that they’re underprepared but honestly they need to learn to get better.

One of the employees at the counter tried to make me overpay by typing £813 on the card machine for a £13 dish! How immoral! Fortunately I set a daily limit on my card so it declined.

Always order from here and never had a bad experience! The chicken shish meal in particular is amazing and very generous portion, you get chicken, tabbouleh, warak enab, batata harra, salad, hummus and falafel! and it’s all really delicious and fresh - the hummus and falafel especially delicious.

The food was soo good. I had the felafel wrap but I know everything else will be good. The salad in the wrap was fresh and the seasoning of the felafel was tasty… you know it was fresh. Service really good, the people have vibes, even late at night. Everyone who passes through seemed respectful, relaxed and satisfied.

Over the last few months I’ve noticed not have the portions in quantity and size, the price has gone up and now you have started using different ingredients such as the type of rice – you no longer use the basmati rice, but you using long grain rice This all affects the quality of the food and for the price you can hardly get a meal that fills you up.There’s never enough bread to have with the dips or the food and there’s no option to purchase separately. Things are going downhill

Went in after reading the review but the food wasn’t made well, the bread was cold as well. To top it all off the staff was extremely rude and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Do not recommend.

Went in with a couple of friends and we were taking a couple of minutes to decide and the staff was getting quite restless. During the entire time there they were very rude to us. Forgot half the order which was completely okay and we never said anything about it but just interacting with them wasn’t pleasant to say the least. While the food was okay I don’t think I’ll be visiting again because of the nature of the staff.

Was so excited to finally eat a good shawarma after reading all the raving reviews! However, I has the worst time interacting with the staff. They didn’t even give me a minute to decide and order and were hounding me to order and were extremely rude. The shawarma was just alright but didn’t make up for the mood that the interaction with the staff put me in. Time to find another Shawarma place!

The food was amazing but the service was horrible. The guys working behind the counter were incredibly rude and glaring at me. They were playing really loud music that you couldn’t hold a conversation and when I asked about my order that was late, I was met with an incredibly rude stare from one of the guys. I do not recommend it.

Visited today. Nice, cozy and clean place, with delicious food. Ordered two lamb shawarma wraps and drinks. It was fresh, buttery, and juicy. We simply loved it. The guy served us was also nice and keep cleaning the tables whenever possible. Recommended.

You need to tell them exactly how you want your sandwich, not a Lebanese restaurant as per Lebanese standards but not bad for a quick bite
