Costa Coffee in Lewisham

Best coffee, most of the time depending which branch you visit very friendly staff, always busy but you never wait long.

The food options are limited mainly to full of sugar, full of fat or full of sugar and fat. They often run out of croissants and pastries very early in the day.

Really enjoyed my stay. Today was super cold and I needed something hot to drink until my train came. Ordered a large hot drink and the staff was super nice and made my drink quick. The atmosphere was quiet and perfect. Very simple snack

Very bad delivery service food over cooked

They let me pay and then told me there was a ten minute wait for a takeaway double expresso and the manager was rude when i asked for my money back.

Efficient yet surly service. Having locked myself out on Sunday morning I decided to wait in Costa with a toasted sandwich, a slice of cake and a coffee, served by surly young barista. My polite request to borrow a pen and paper to leave a note was met with a dismissive "see the woman at the counter" by the other surly woman wiping thr table. I had already sat down and the queue had at least 3 people waiting. I won't be returning.

I’ve been coming to this particular Costa for the last 3 years. The staff is amazing everyone in the shop is kind and welcoming. I also want to thank a member of staff called Gabrila, (Blonde lady with glasses) She started this journey with me, she’s the first staff member that served me 3 years ago . She’s become such a role model, and she is definitely keeping the place together. Very good team leader skills. Very satisfied with this Costa A*

Nice coffee shop not to busy when I went there

Was served by Gabriella who was extremely helpful. The place is open and spacious. It is clean and tidy. The coffee was lovely.

Customer service in a lot of costa branches is really poor, but this one is by far the best costa I’ve ever been too. Both members of staff today were lovely, welcoming and made good coffee. Keep it up.

Usual choice but the atmosphere is good

Ordered a Large Latte yesterday Thursday 8 December 2022 through 'Just Eat' for delivery and a few other items. Haven't done an order for quite a while now for Costa (months) and unfortunately, they didn't have my usual, Cappuccino or any extra shot coffee available. It was the worst coffee I've ever tasted in my life, it had a strange bitter and rancid flavour to it, something was very wrong and off with that coffee yesterday and I wouldn't be surprised if mine was not the only complaint or bad review about the coffee. I would have given no stars if there was that option, I had to spit it out then throw the rest away and Costa Coffee is not cheap, so won't be ordering fron them again. What a waste of money and no way of getting a refund as the only options on 'Just Eat' for it were "your food/drink wasn't delivered", "they got the order wrong" or "item missing" and if you "weren't happy with it, they told you to "leave a Review" - rip off!

Unfortunately the worse Costa experience to date. Quite disappointed to be honest. Lengthy wait for the drinks which was made terribly. All three drinks were made not up to the Costa standard. And were unfortunately undrinkable. Two servers behind working so unsure if it was due to pressure, understaffed, lack of experience. Unlikely to pop back into there.

Great place to relax and enjoy some quiet. Remember to get your seat before you order.

Nice place to work away from the office. Downside it that there is not enough charger points. Othwise great space and location

Wonderful and friendly staff, I’m always greeted with a smile. The staff can hold a conversation and are engaged which is really nice when you’re just there for a drink and to chill, have a meeting, revise etc.

It's a nice spacious coffee shop. Just disappointed that you have to pay more for non dairy milk, prices have gone up in general It's rediculas. I will not be visiting a Costa coffee shop again.

I am from Jamaica and would think that I am biased to Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. The atmosphere is great and so are the staff.

Pretty spacious shop with plenty of seating. Pricing is what you'd expect from a coffee chain. A decent choice of food and drink. Staff were friendly and I was served promptly. Toilets are clean, have large cubicles. They have plenty of Covid measures in place. Visited on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. The only thing I can fault is the general price of food and drink.

Visited Costa to grab my mid-shift caffeine fix in the form of a caramel latte. Enjoyed every mouthful per usual. The staff were lovely and friendly and gave me an extra shot of caramel as I was in uniform and said my please and thank yous 😁

Nice spacious cafe, interesting clientele, many from francophone Africa, pleasant staff. Background music kept to low levels so conversations (or earwigging) possible. Free WiFi, usual deal so perfect for a spot of work, or surfing. Keep your skoolday French skills honed and enjoy a coffee into the bargain!

I liked the shop and staff. Really nice and friendly. But as far as coffee goes it isn't the best band out there. But they are still good and enjoyable.

It's ok coffee but honestly it's not my go to if I have any other option. Tastes as good as my home nespresso pods, which makes miss the point in my opinion.

They sell good coffee in a pleasant environment. Wheelchair friendly except for the outdoor area hence only 4 stars.

Excellent coffee at an reasonable price, the staff are friendly and helpful with any questions you may have, nice clean open plan shop with plenty of seating available and various styles to choose, open early on weekend so you can enjoy a peaceful relaxing drink defore the day starts, gets busy at the peak times but like most, the restrooms are kept in an good condition of use, good for a stop off or quick stop

Red Summer Berries drink is honestly not as great as Starbucks... waaay too liquid & don’t feel it was worth my money... i’ll give it an extra star for the service however
