Limited menu Limited drinks no ice all looking a bit tired seat need to be replaced

Poor customer service, staff have no idea what lager they have on tap and have in stock. 5.30pm no mash no veggie lasagne. I ordered mixed grill, rump I ordered rare it was served to me medium. Eggs hard and overcooked, chicken cold, gammon barely warm, peas room temp. Generally, a total waste of time and money. Normally, I would feedback to the staff directly but no one checked if everything was OK until they cleared the plates by which time I just wanted to leave. Alot better places in the area for similar money.

Although they were short staffed, Megan was very polite and efficient and made sure we didn't have to wait too long for each course. Food was great too.

We had a wonderful meal, Megan our server was excellent and the food was good. Gluten free menu available. Ideal for those staying at the Premier Inn next door.

I had steak and chips witch were served just warm, l didn't complain because my wife's meal was ok and it would have meant me waiting another 40 minutes The Beafeater in question was on the Dorchester Road just outside Weymouth

We had an amazing time, Megan was really lovely. My only complaint is the portion size but the service was really good and very quick

Poor walked into this place to get some food with my 6yr old son and disabled partner was refused due to not booking now i always walk in beefeaters must be because we not from round here the usual face don't fit situation try avoid very rude people here

Had gammon it was the best I've had for a long time. So nice to go into a restaurant that doesn't serve dried peas everything was freshly cooked Steph our server was so professional pleasant friendly nothing was to much trouble as it got very busy we expected the service to drop but not at all Can't wait to return

Steak was cold and clearly rushed. The flavour was fine but it's clear that very little effort went into the meal. I would describe this experience as the most average possible experience. No more no less.

Fantastic venue, incredibly tasty Sunday lunch and the most attentive staff we have ever come across. Flawless visit from start to finish. Would definitely recommend!

Had breakfast after a long charity walk yesterday, food was great, staff friendly and everything was well provided for. Will be returning next time we're in the area.

Had a meal here after spending the day in Weymouth. I had food from the dedicated NGCI menu but within 10 minutes of finishing was experiencing stomach pains and urgently needed the toilet. My wife had food from the normal menu and also experienced stomach issues.

We arrived at the place about 7ish I did not book and for that reason we was told we couldn't eat in the main restaurant! We sat in the conservatory at the front door, yet another couple came in and had not booked and was seated in the main restaurant? When the food came it looked fantastic! Until we stared to eat it! The ribeye steak was flavourless and tougher than an old boot! Had to leave most of it! This was my friends meal. Mine was almost cold the chicken breast was watery no flavour the chicken in breadcrumbs tasted "old and dry", The rack of ribs were cold and very "bland" it was to be honest, absolutely disgusting. We really felt let down and I felt bad because I recommended the beefeater to my friend because years a go I went to then regularly in the North West, but if this is the standard now I think I will be giving them a miss. I'm absolutely gutted! Waste of approx £23 and £25... £48 for such a bad experience! The lattes was the only thing we liked Philip Jackson.

If you're a meat lover, check out the steak platter - scrummy-licious and excellent value for money - go for the skinny fries as the triple cooked chips are awful...

Went for the all you can eat breakfast buffet. Overall, good value for money. Good selection of the usual breakfast fare, with most of it looking like it was turned over fairly regularly. My only complaint, and it's pretty much the same everywhere, was the bacon being undercooked for my personal taste. Coffee was fresh machine made cappuccino which was good. Real tea spoons instead of piddly wooden sticks to stir it though would have been a better choice. Would definitely visit again.

It wasn’t the greatest experience I’ve ever had at a Beefeater. Usually so on point. Not a great selection of beer and non alcoholic beer options due to delivery issues. Can’t be helped. Food tasted good but was cold as hell. But Dominic was fantastic and resolved the whole situation. Wouldn’t usually return to a food establishment after such horrendous food but Dom was brilliant. Such great service and empathetic to boot. 10/10 would recommend him but not so much the grub. Lessons definitely to be learnt.

We love coming to the beefeater. Food is great. Occasionally when busy you do have to wait a bit for food to come out, same as the coffee ☕️ making the queue a bit of a pain but understandable and not really an issue would advise going earlier to avoid this. Overall really happy, service is great everyone friendly and food delicious and worth every penny thank-you!!!!

Very warm welcome by Ricky and Katie, making up for a rainy morning. Nice selection of breakfast items, all freshly cooked by chef Georgia. Great location when you stay in the hotel next door or just want to grab a bite to after or before shopping in the nearby retail park.

We came for a family breakfast and the food was fantastic. All the staff are great but a huge shout out to Katie who was super smiley and friendly and went above and beyond to meet my requests . Many thanks .

The General Manager, Andy, went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our elderly parents which made a very great difference to them. All the staff were friendly, helpful and hard-working.

Fantastic we came two days running whilst visiting the area. Sunday the 7th we arrived and it was extremely busy, the host who seated us was extremely friendly, made us aware of how the morning went with tech issues however he was still smiling and his service was impeccable. Monday was just as good quality, the buffet breakfast is fantastic value too, deffo worth it.

Visited here with my mum for a lamb roast,drinks took 20 mins to arrive & food 40 mins.lamb was chewy & mostly fat & the rest of it mostly cold.not worth the money we paid which was a shame as i have eaten here before with no issues.

Long waits for service. Food was okay but portions were small. The restaurant has a nice feel to it.

Phoned the beefeater to book a table, to be told there were no tables available - this confused us, as online there was space to book, so we continued with our online booking, arrived and was seated. Unfortunately the last time we came for food at the beefeater - Weymouth, the service wasn’t the best, as there were things missing from our food order, however, we thought we would give it another go. Needless to say, the last time wasn’t an ‘off day’, as the service was the same this time too.. cheese & sauce missing from the burger, the upgraded chips to ‘cheesy’ had a very small amount of cheese covering them, the two steaks ordered were both missing the rocket and tomato. Although it’s most definitely not the end of the world, and easily fixed by asking for them to be brought over, it’s more frustrating as it could be so easily avoided in the first place. Since working in the catering industry myself, it really ISNT difficult to read the ticket, check the plate and send it out CORRECTLY. Overall, wouldn’t recommend. The waitress we had was great though!!

After looking looking forward to our Easter Sunday roast we were bitterly disappointed and disgusted what we were served. The ultimate meal was served on a tin tray and quite honestly looked like everyone’s left overs tipped on a tray. The roast potatoes were obvious deep fried as were crispy on outside but hard and cold in the middle. The waitress kindly brought us some more which were sadly the same. My granddaughters steak was cremated as was the kids pizza. Needless to say we did not stay for our puddings, choosing to get a Mac fluffy and to eat our Easter eggs for dessert. We should have left when we arrived after seeing the ripped seats, and being informed there were no Yorkshire puddings left, which I’m assuming were also frozen and not fresh.

A well needed Friday night family meal. We’ve not eaten here in years and we were very impressed with the overall service, the cleanliness and the food was lush.

Sadly it belongs in another age ...dinosauric but not jurassic alas ...soulless large garage ..unfriendly lecturn greeter ...item after item not available having ordered with 4 different return waiters in ten minutes including drinks that were not available too..ended up with a canned beer ...bang average is generous...the management don't care clearly and won't respond..the menu is riddled with bonkers combos and basically too complicated...i don't like to see local places lose custom but honestly went to much better independent options in Weymouth... sorry folks but honestly zero warmth..atmosphere or quality ...avoid at all costs...the staff have no chance as the management have given up clearly

Unlimited cooked breakfast the one that I was looking for in Weymouth. And you can re-order again as much as you like according to the menu. The area seemed a bit far from the main beach but its good to walk as an exercise or take a bus to stop net to Sainsbury. Service is alright, friendly. But the place needs a bit of renovation to look more appetising. Best recommended for £9.9 pounds unlimited cooked but not for me as I am small eater.

Not as good.Standards appear to have slipped somewhat. Just my opinion.

Treated myself to a steak dinner. Was really excited as so few places serve fillet round here (that I know of). Was late afternoon with about 5 other tables in. Service was slow, although Megan and I think the manager who came on shift were lovely. 2 course dinner took 1 hour 50 minutes, not due to me deciding but waiting. Steak took 20 mins to arrive, was overcooked, so I was disappointed. Was sat looking around, trying to catch someone's attention for dessert and then the bill. Will definitely go back as has great potential. Hopefully, it's just an off day.

The building is really VERY tired and in need of a facelift. Not very welcoming to a tired traveller. The disabled toilet was disgusting and very smelly. Food was ok but mediocre but Dom was smiley and helpful.

We often visit mid week. My son loves a burger and I enjoy a vegan option. Friendly, reasonably priced and nice venue. Blue light discount available too

We are two ‘ladies who lunch’ to brighten up a household shopping day. Our visit to Weymouth Beefeater yesterday was just right. We were warmly welcomed by Ricky D who looked after us so well throughout. Our food was delicious and well presented by chef Amy, and her salad was perfect. We visited last year and I wrote a poor review. This time everything was up to expectation , thank you. We look forward to coming again.

It's ok. The staff are friendly enough at a basic level you would call okay customer service. The food was very bland and got my preference of style of chips Wong which isn't the end of the world

Disappointing. Went at around 9pm, which as a chef, I understand is quite frustrating for a kitchen member, but it didn’t excuse the just about edible food I was presented with. I order the Hunter’s Chicken which for 1. Is clearly frozen, not impressed for a meat restaurant. 2. The streaky bacon was just about cooked but inedible as the fat was soggy. And lastly 3. The fries had clearly been cooked once and left to cool then re fried for my meal. All in all, major improvements on quality control required. RETURNED 2 YEARS LATER STILL DISAPPOINTED Thought I would give them another chance. Shouldn’t have. Took around 40 minutes for the food to arrive and when it did the eggs and peas were over cooked. Was charged extra to swap peas for beans and the beans were overcooked, dry and only got 2 spoonfuls. No check backs on the food so we couldn’t ask for new eggs or beans! Had to wait about 15 mins after eaten to get our plates taken and ask for the bill. They were too busy setting up for breakfast.

Service was awful long wait to order then drinks never arrived. Starter came missing the salmon so had to go back. Chicken goujons were luke warm. We then had to wait a very long time for the mains. These arrived and we're cold but as we were so hungry by then we ate them. Staff didn't want to help and you couldn't get anyone's attention when you needed something. Would not recommend going there if you want a nice meal out

I never write reviews but extremely dissapointed with our visit Jan 24. Visited on a Friday evening so granted it would be busy however waited 2 hours before we even ate our mains!!! When seated our table was dirty, and took around 40 mins for even our starter to arrive. Not once did staff check up on us or ask if we wanted more drinks (which took ages to come btw). Eventually we had to ask the staff where our food was and they said they lost the ticket. (This was at the 1hr 30 mark btw) so very hungry waiting for mains. Food was average, but cold when we got it. Definitely not worth the wait and waitresses didn’t check our table to see how we found it. Won’t be going back again. Very poor

Just me and the misses tonight so went here for a belated 50th birthday meal. All I'm going to say is "Thank you Andy for being so understanding and professional and we WILL be back".

We came for the weekend and ate here both nights there was abit of a mix up we're the waitress added someone else's bill on to ours dint notice at first but when we did Andy the manager was amazing straight away refunded us what we was owed was very friendly the steak was amazing would highly recommend

Lovely Breakfast, Still plenty to choose from at the end of the service.... Even though it looked like they were understaffed, they were all helpful and on top of everything.... especially the new manager that is turning this place around from the under whelming breakfast on my previous visit last year

Food was awful. Under cooked and cold. We’ve both ended up leaving it and filling up on the pastries and yogurt instead. Staff were pleasant enough but the place is tired and could do with a makeover.

Waited 10 mins before someone came to see us then to be told it was 45 mins for table loads of tables empty won't go again

Came for a meal this evening with family and was really impressed. Atmosphere was lovely, especially for a rainy Tuesday evening in January. Staff were friendly and attentive. We all agreed the food was delicious and we look forward to coming again in the near future.

Waited about 10 minutes to be seated, yet half the restaurant was empty. Took ages to take drinks order too. Wanted to order the steak, unfortunately there was no peppercorn sauce, so went with the bbq ribs...that had no bbq sauce on it whatsoever, and did not taste like bbq. Corn on the cob was about as big as a plum. So disappointed.

Buffet breakfast. Customers we mostly waiting for hot food to be brought out. Several customers complaining. Big food outlet not fulfilling potential could be set up better instead of small amounts of food being served up to satisfy many. All other times we visited have been good but breakfasts need some reviewing.

We had a family meal here a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed my vegan burger and chips and vegan dessert. We had a waitress I think her name was Megan (if not I am really sorry) She was amazing and very attentive, really looked after us. I think they were short staffed as she made the desserts but they were great.

It was a joint birthday meal for myself and my mother in law. It was a nice treat.

Polite staff. Good service, but chips were cold and replaced. Two burgers, were very over cooked. Mixed grill was very good. When wetherspoons burgers are better, they must be bad.

This is by far the worst meal I have ever eaten. Table booked for 5:15 and The restaurant was half empty on arrival. We waited nearly 1.5 hours before any food arrived. We both ordered steak and my wife asked for rare. What arrived was very well done. Kids meals had various items missing. I ordered a peppercorn sauce which never arrived even asking a second time. I feel sorry for the workers as they are clearly understaffed but this was a shocking experience.

Had a family meal here and staff were friendly and helpful. Small issues such as asking twice for our side of onion rings to come out and kitchen staff forgetting to add peppercorn sauce with the steak. Also ribs not added after ordering the chicken and rib meal. Staff did apologise and acknowledge the situation.

Only one chef, delivery late, waited 30 minutes for food, ran out of a few items, but 4 stars as manager was brilliant and food good.

The food was ready to serve but wasn’t served for more than 5 minutes and when they did, it was cold and rubbery. Has happened to me twice now. Used my reward points but they wont do bluelight card pn top of that. Doesn’t make sense and such a poor customer service.

Stayed at Premier Inn next door went in for dinner it was quite popular. we booked a table for and we were seated quickly on arrival. menu is as expected of a beefeater and the quality was ok offering fair value for money.

I had a lovely meal here recently. I was served by waitress Megan who greeted us with a smile. She was super friendly and informative when it came to my dietary needs (veggie). The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Although it was busy, the food came in a timely manner and was hot and tasty. I was too full for pudding but my boyfriend throughly enjoyed the triple chocolate brownie with ice cream! Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Weymouth!

What can I say! Was very hesitant due to the reviews on Google but I decided to give it a go and I was shocked! I had to wait at the door but that’s not a problem, I was greeted at the door with a smile and asked if I had a booking ( of course I booked it’s a restaurant) I was asked about allergies and was shown to my seat, I had a fillet steak (medium) with fries unfortunately they didn’t have sirloin but I am happy to pay for an upgrade as explained, there was only three staff working and looked like a full restaurant! I was happy to wait as we all know how hard it is to work in hospitality! Some people will never understand! When the food arrived it was so delicious and hot! I was checked on multiple times to see if I needed a refill, while looking around I could not believe how busy it was and the staff did not stop running round I was very impressed, when it got to choosing desert I had to go for a sticky toffee pudding with custard😍 my overall experience is 5⭐️+ will definitely be returning!

Perfect food, a good variety on the menu & affordable. Staff are amazing & very helpful Will definitely be going back.
