Beefeater Swansea Waterfront in Swansea

Nothing but positive things to say about the beefeater, friendly and welcoming staff, lovely food cooked and served well. Great environment, good energy, we really enjoyed our visit. Staff are very accommodating, positive and smiley. Big shout out to ‘Shez’ they didn’t stop on both our visits, genuine lovely person, big personality, friendly, helpful and so kind to our son, remembered us during our visit to Swansea and really made our experience pleasant. They are a credit to the team. Will be back next time in Swansea

No ribeye left so ordered fillet steak. It was dry and overcooked. Jacket potato and sweet potato Fries no longer on the menu. No BBQ sauce. Only one bottle of water available. Presentation of food was slap-dash. Poor waitresses rushed off their feet so service was slow. Definitely will not be returning.

Us girls always meet up for breakfast once every 3 weeks. We like to try different places too. When we decided to try here we were very impressed. The service was outstanding, variety of food spot on and it was all hot. nothing was to much trouble for the staff if we asked for something we could not see. Will definitely be calling back again 😁

The family and myself walked into the Waterfront and asked for a table in the restaurant. The supervisor / duty manager advised us the restaurant is full. We were surprised with welcome we Initially received - not the best. We were advised after waiting 10 minutes to be seated that there are only seats in the bar area. After taking onboard the Duty Manager's recommendation, we proceeded to the bar area and placed our orders. These were: Fillet Steaks and one Rump Steak with chips. We waited about half and hour for the food to arrive as It was being cooked - fresh. The food arrived. The Steaks seemed like they were not from the grill and even lacking any warmth or scents of an Inviting meal. Our chips were very cold as well. We were very disappointed with paying £20.00 each for the fillet steak which I have tried better in 'The Marquis Arms - Fforestfach for only £11.00 which is HOT and Sizzling and even has fresh onions to accompany the meal. The chips are pre-cooked and kept behind the counter where the Chef works and are left to go cold. I noticed this when I used the lavatory - where the breakfast is served. Our bill was in the excess of £150.00 and to be forthright - was only worth £30.00.

Start of i had something different other than gammon 🎉 Car park was £2.40 for 3hrs farthest side from the restaurant. What i found is theres not much on the menu from before and it seems pricey to. Me and the misses had burger chips coleslaw little one had chicken bits chips and obviously red sauce misses had nachos for a starter we also had deserts. We all had drinks aswell without the littles food it was just shy of £60. You can get a refillable coke zero as i was not offered this at the bar (thanks for that) Staff are tidy freindly restaurant is ok to its a tidy place for food. Will call again

I recently held my baby shower here, it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, and the staff couldn’t do more for us, Nicola in particular was amazing and so was Amber and Cheryl. Our table wasn’t booked until 4pm but they allowed us to come down early to decorate, and even helped us put the decorations up ready for the baby shower to begin, they consistently checked in on us made sure our drinks were full and the food was outstanding. There were over 20 of us and all the food came out hot, really impressed. I highly recommend coming here.

Came here for a birthday family meal. Lovely staff and excellent food, especially the mixed grill was really tasty and filling. Also very reasonably priced as they accept Blue Light Card discount. Will defo come again.

We were a party of six (in laws visiting ) had a lovely warm welcome and we were given a choice of seating (that's rare) the first waitress was nice and welcoming, she was a great waitress, we were waiting on 1 starter and this other waitress seemed to take over and she made the cooks cook faster and she was very good and communicated with us and had a right laugh with chez and she made sure we had everything we wanted, certainly made us feel at home and saw to our every need, it was finally nice to have a waitress/waiter finally communicate with guests it's hard to find these days, chez really went above and beyond for us last night to make sure we had a nice dining experience, we will be returning

The lady that 'served' me at the bar was incredibly rude, I had been waiting at the bar for about 10 minutes to be served, and she came up and just looked at me - the fact she didn't say hi, or sorry for the delay or even at least 'what can I get for you' should have told me everything I needed to know, but none the less I tried to build rapport. So I said "ah I was wondering if anyone was working, on your own are you?" thinking I'd empathise with her and we could have a moan together - she had other thoughts. She responded with 'Well I'm here now en i?' in a very rude tone, to which I responded 'Ah yes ok, but I have been here for 10 minutes' because, quite frankly her response irked me, and she said 'yeah, and now I'm here so?' and I just looked on in disbelief, she went on to say 'Oh I'll just get my manager then.. ' and stormed off. Safe to say me and my two colleagues left the place in hurry, absolutely not being spoken to like that where I'm about to spend my money. A simple 'So sorry for the delay, what can I get for you' would have sufficed, but that interaction and the scowl on her face was disgusting. I know it won't make much difference but me and my family will absolutely never visit again, disgusting behaviour! For ease of who the member of bar staff was, she was red haired, and working on Monday 22nd Jan 2024, between 1pm-2pm. I also know for a fact that my other colleagues have put complaints in about this member of staff over the years, so the fact she is still even working there speaks volumes to me about the lack of impact complaints and reviews have at this place. She should never work in customer service.

The food was very good. The experience I had with service was incredibly poor. Waited 50 minutes to have our plates cleared. Staff were astonishingly rude and ignorant. They were very insulting towards us and we were overall very unhappy.

Fast and friendly service, great food and drink all at a reasonable price. What else could you ask for?

Some of my family have never eaten at a Beefeater and approached Xmas Day with a fair bit of trepidation. Well, we needn't have worried, because what a great day it was all round. A busy, buzzy atmosphere, amazingly swift service and we found the food genuinely very tasty indeed. The Sirloin stack was a particular highlight, and so were the staff, who were some of the most smiley, upbeat and approachable we've come across in Swansea. We'll definitely have Xmas Day here next year, well done all.
