Beefeater Longbridge in Birmingham

Very good service and good range of food. My rare steak was a good rare, which can be rare in itself! Special shout out to the red-haired guy on the bar, sorry I don't know your name. Top customer service, the phrase "above and beyond" was invented for you. Thanks very much and hope to see you same time next year!

Nice place, staff have good food recommendations, and were really engaging and attentive. Festive menu was delicious.

Popped in for lunch, with their specials of £12.99p for two mains. Shown straight to a table, and although there only seemed to be one waitress on, she was quick and efficient. Food was prompt and tasted really good. Great value!

Been staying in the Premier inn connected to this Beefeater and have to say it was fantastic. The staff are lovely. Charlotte and her team are superb. Food was very tasty.

Service was appalling, took nearly an hour to get our food after taking the order and made to feel it was our own fault for ordering a well done fillet as they take longer to cook. Vegetables, mushroom and tomato came out cold, and by cold I would say straight from the fridge, and these took another 10 mi utes to replace with some Luke warm ones, and to top it off the waitress said they originals were still warm, making us out to be liars. The fillet steak had gristle running through it, not a good cut at all. Been to may beefeaters, and have had plenty of good meals, however this one has left a bitter taste, didn’t even get an apology or offer of discount on the meal. Would not recommend and will never return

We visited as a family on Saturday 16th September and although it was super busy we were looked after really well by Kristel especially. The kids really enjoyed it too which made us enjoy everything even more. Next time we are in the area we’ll definitely stop by again.

Waited 35 minutes to get served for breakfast and when it came it was missing part of the order. The staff look like they are really trying but I had the continental and then had to wait for my wife to finish because of the delay

Went into the Beefeater today as my son had just come home from Holiday and wanted to enjoy a nice meal for Lunch. It was relatively quiet, and we got a seat and the lady that took our order took our order without notes, I asked for a medium rare fillet steak and my son wanted haddock. My son received his meal and really enjoyed it. I received a well-done steak, I do not enjoy well-done. My problem is that my son is Autistic and me calling someone over to complain about the food makes him really uncomfortable to the point he won’t eat, so I continued with the rest of my meal and waited for our serve to return to the table. She did return to the 2 tables next to us to check everything was ok but excluded us, I felt this was very rude. Once my son had finished we waited to order a pudding but not one came to us. We decided to leave and when I went over to collect the bill I was not once asked whether everything’s was ok. I felt that the service was extremely poor and it felt personal as others seemed to receive a great service. I expected more from a Beefeater.

Came here for dinner on Tuesday evening and what a hidden gem. Service was excellent and food was better than I expected after looking at some of the reviews! Will definitely be back soon!

Despite a notice on the door saying due to staff issues no food was being served between 3 and 6pm we decided to wait the hour and a half and have a drink while we waited. Billy served us and was very apologetic about the food and gave excellent customer service. Just after 6pm the food came out and was lovely. Would highly recommend this pub and we will be back soon. Credit due to Billy, you are doing a fab job, I have been in pub trade for 15 yrs and would love to have had a Billy work for me, creme de la creme!!!!

We visited Longbridge Beefeater for A late lunch for a birthday Celebration. Although they were incredibly short staffed and it was only Chelsea who we’ve had serve us plenty of times before, we just want to say Thank you, and you’re doing an amazing job! Not only was we shocked about how good her memory was, how she managed and dealt with a high volume, with many duties to carry out. She smashed it! We will be returning, and will see you very soon.
