Nice food very polite staff Go there every morning for many years and never had a bad experience 👍👍👍

We order two sandwiches with bacon one which we asked for that fat to be cut off and was told they was cutting the fat off which is really rude to be fair and the one had which also had bacon it was brunt bacon

Went today, got a a bacon and sausage sandwich, the sandwich was nice and worth the money, but that is not mu complaint. What is my complaint is the hygiene and there over all service of the place.First of all, with us still in a pandemic, and a cafe has a no mask no service regime, I expect them to live by that. The amount of people just stood loitering or in the queue without a mask on is appalling, stood coughing and spreading germs.Secondly, when people are waiting for food or in the queue, I had to deal with multiple people stood around smoking, normally that wouldn't bother me, I am not particularly fond of it but each to there own. However it gets out of hand when there are people smoking less than 10 feet away from where you actually prepare food. Disgusting. I even had to deal with 2 smokers, stood spitting on the floor every other inhale, again less than ten feed away from where you prepare food. Surely the people serving have it in them to realise it's disgusting. And finally, when I was in the queue for ten mines and reached the front. I was the next to order. The brunette woman working behind the counter ended up serving the spitting smokers first, because she knew them. Not on at all.All this hygiene and service problems I would expect from a shabby burger van. However when you pretend to be a cafe and call yourselves one, then at least uphold a certain element of hygiene standards.

Rude staff just walked away from me and said she could not hear. Her colleague then served the person behind meThe quality of the food has definitely deteriorated. My bacon was like leather and not very hotAfter being a customer for many years I will not be returning

I visited this place to get a quick bite to eat after work. The service was very friendly and quick. And the food was lovely. It was cooked to how I like it and it was very hot. Just what I needed after a day at work. Would definitely recommend.

When we first arrived, they were clearly busy talking to usual customers for a few minutes before asking for our order. When I asked for tuna mayo salad sandwich, a lady with dark hair just turned to me and said rudely “oh well we are going to have to open a can now as there’s none open” as if it’s not part of their business to have it if it’s on their menu! Then my parter ordered his sandwich and they must have asked a fair few times, backs turned mostly, for him to repeat it. We waited quite a while for our order to finish. A gentlemen in the mean time came back and asked for some more sugar for his drink, to which he got told “wait a minute” abruptly and then she spooned it in the cup in a rude manner then just said thanks without even eye contact and walked off! We had our car parked facing them whilst we sat and had our sandwiches, to which we saw a girl come out emptying bins with no gloves, going back inside straight to the counter and preparing more food! No hair nets, on woman even had her hair down! Really poor customer service, like I said they were more bothered about chit chatting with regular customers and were just really rude and had no time for us. The amount of times we repeated ourselves was ridiculous, the only reason I didn’t say anything was because I was too hungry! And even then, the breadcakes were quite hard and not even that tasty either! We will not be returning!

Came for the dinner time special today, like usual it was nice and fresh. Portion size and quality of the food will not disappoint. There’s a Huge choice on the menu, with home made curry’s during the week. This place Is always busy, so that tells you what a banging little gem of a cafe it is. Staff are always talkative and polite even when there rushed off there feet, the customer service skills stay at a high standard. I’ve Rang our works order through a few times and had it ready for Colection when I arrived so no waiting about. Breakfast items are served all day which is a bonus when you fancy a large butty, but it’s way past dinner time! most other cafes local stop serving breakfast items at a certain time and there’s some even closer that close after breakfast.Another big bonus about this little cafe is it’s open 7days a week! Beejays is by far the best Cafe in Rotherham! I have been coming hear a few years now and wouldn’t go any where else.If you haven’t visited before get your selfs down you won’t be disappointed. It's easy, they do the best breakfast sandwiches going. Never waiting long and the staff are always nice & friendly!

The cheese burgers are amazing and have plenty of onions but just a shame they do not do hash browns with the breakfast selection!

Went again yesterday, lovely food but took far too long to get the correct order! Felt like I was being shouted at rather than spoken to, think half of Rotherham heard her ask for my order and if they didn't the first time then I’m sure they would have by the last time. I had to be asked a few times what it was I wanted and then she still managed to get it wrong. Not sure if it’s because she had been waiting on food to be cooked or if she was just a little nervous or side tracked talking to friends that were in the line. There was another middle aged lady with dark black hair working with her. I’m not sure if she’s management or not she really couldn’t apologies enough and said the member of staff was new. I no everyone has to start some we’re but when you have a short dinner break and your kept waiting because the staff don’t have a clue what there doing or they have ran out of food.it doesn’t scream out come back again. It’s a shame really because it’s a really decent cafe. Maybe spend a bit more time training staff before letting them work alone Lou x

Always nice food, reasonably priced, staff friendly & even though busy they do not lower their customer service skills, free delivery service a bonus! Good selection on menu.

Bee Jays provides a 5 Star service as well as 5 star food! My friends and I visit every weekend and are always astounded by the friendliness of the staff and the speediness of the service. The prices are amazing value - the cafe is labels itself as providing good quality food, as fast as they can, and it does just that. I would recommend this establishment to anyone in the area looking for affordable yet tasty food! I will continue to frequent Bee Jays as a loyal customer.

Really good best butties I've ever had an decent portion size very filling and great customer service

We didn't do Sunday lunch this week, as we were decorating. Came to Wickes for DIY products and decided to try the cafe. Thought it must be good because of the queue. Me and my wife decided to have pie chips peas and gravy. WOW! After eating that, don't feel like decorating anymore lol. The food was hot and tasty, will definitely be coming here again.

Honestly don't know where all these bad reviews are coming from, every time I've gone to Beejays I could not complain! food fresh hot and good value for money, the staff are welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough for me. Even when I have had deliveries from this cafe the food has been hot, on time and faultless! Would recommend this gem of a cafe to anyone, and will even go as far to say that it has the best bacon butty in Yorkshire! In short, don't believe the critics!!!

Have ordered from here a couple of times as they deliver to our work place, on numerous occasions they have got orders wrong, short changed us, over charged us, sent us chips and gravy that I can only describe as tasted and smelt like cow muck (literally) but today was the final straw when we ordered to the office, firstly they over charged us our order came to £12 yet they charged us £15 and when we asked them about it they said they had rounded it up to £15 WITHOUT letting us know, yes we know that it is £15 minimum order but if we would have known that they was going to round it up anyway then we would have ordered something extra rather than pay an extra £3 for them to deliver 2 minutes away! Secondly, they didn't deliver one of the meals we ordered when we rang them and told them about it they said they would send it down to us, we waited an hour and still no delivery of the meal so we called them back and they told us they couldn't deliver the meal WE PAID FOR and that we would have to go and collect it if we wanted it, they then continued to talk to my colleague like something they had stepped in. Customer service is disgraceful! The food that was delivered was like prison food and 3 of us threw it away as we deemed it inedible! I would not recommend this place!

Ordered chips and gravy with the rest of my colleagues, when the order turned up the lady took the money and went without giving us chance to check the order was all there or that the money was right, my food wasn't there so when we called back we were told that if i wanted the food i would have to pick it up and pay again! As i only take enough money to work to pay for my dinner im now with no money and no food! Safe to say we will not be ordering from Bee Jays again!

If you are looking for well priced comfort food Bee Jays is the place for you.The food is generally good with a few exceptions like the cheap sausage.You have a choice of large or normal sized bread cakes (although it seems that they cant order enough large bread cakes on a Sunday - all way sold out what every time I go). Although the staff have never been rude to me, you don't get service with a smile at Bee Jay's which is a shame at one of Rotherham's best greasy spoons.

I live pretty close to Bee Jays. Staff are always friendly, food is very reasonably priced, big portions, and always hot. It's a favourite place to go when we have friends round at the weekend, as it saves us cooking breakfast/washing up, and everyone can have exactly what they want! My husband loves the liver and onions too.Does what it says on the tin, no frills, but damn good bacon sandwiches!

My family use this cafe regularly have done for years ..always enjoyed everything we have and the staff are always and i mean always polite x Today they even went above and beyond once more ..i have recently had a new puppy and hes not the best eater and is a little on the skinny side ..but for some reason when my kids have the steak gravy with chunks of steak he loves it ..so today i asked if i could buy a little carton of the gravy and meat ...no problem at all ..and its made my day to come home and see my little dog eat the lot and thoroughly enjoy it ...thankyou ..you didnt have to do it but you did ...bravo xx Thankyou... I'd heard before about the good food from this takeaway,so ,as me and the missus had to call to wicked,we decided to get a couple of sandwiches from bee jays.bacon and egg for me,sausage and egg for her.when we arrived home,the food was still hot due to,them being wrapped in tin foil.we wasent disappointed;nice big breadcakes,plentiful filling.in a word;superb

I run a small business locally on an industrial estate and used to order for my 15 staff on a Friday if sales targets were met as a thank you. Orders were all mixed up on repeated occasions. Allowed for this 3 times before calling a day and building a relationship with another sandwich cafe

I'm not exaggerating here people, it was like biting down onto a rock. The contents were ok but I might as well have ordered the filling with a brick either side

If your wanting a really quick stomach filler because your in a rush then I suppose you can be forgiven for using this canteen thingy, but apart from that I'd be looking at eating somewhere else. Not very nice to be honest

The food here is great. Freshly cooked, lots of breakfast choices, and a lovely cup of tea. There is a cabin if you don't want to takeaway which is a bit draughty and basic, but we like it. Plus it's open on a Sunday morning.

I get food from here a few times a week as I work on the estate. It's great. The staff are friendly, the food is smashing and you get plenty for your money. A couple of them are easy on the eye as well so it's always a pleasure :)

I usually go to a café in Brinsworth which is 1/2 mile away from the Wicks van but I had a change and tried this place. Not a patch on where I usually go and I wont be going here again. All the warm meats are stood for ages, which as a result, end up dry as a bone. No moisture in the sausages at all - like eating cardboard or rubber, I've not made my mind up which one it is

I bought a large egg mayonnaise sandwich from here on Sunday morning. I visited around 9am but the sandwich was for my lunch. I was getting hungry around 12:30pm and was really looking forward to my feast only to take a bite and pull from my mouth a long black hair about 7 inch in length. I nearly wretched and the sandwich had to go in the bin. A shame really as the food itself seemed to taste nice before the unwanted filling made itself known. The thought of that happening again makes me feel sick

As a student, I can't help but mention the great value for money at the Bee Jays. You get huge portions and such a lovely staff to serve it to you. A very varied menu and the specials board to really add some home made favourites. I recommend Beejay's to anybody looking for a hearty meal in the Rotherham area. Go, see and taste for yourself!

The feedback on their website I CAN ASSURE YOU IS NOTHING BUT HAND PICKED and I wouldn't be surprised if it was completely fake. They wouldn't have feedback on their website of people telling the truth believe me. I used this café as it stands in Wicks car park after buying some floor tiles and the service was terrible. I ordered a bacon and egg, only to be told there was no bacon left and no cans of pop. I was served by a young girl in her early twenties and all she wanted to tell me was that everything wasn't her fault. You really got the impression the staff didn't want to be working there, or that's how it came across. Avoid if you can!

Called in at bee jays for the first time the other day just by chance and ordered a large bacon buttie for me and our lass had bacon and egg.They were both served up in minutes and the size made us giggle, they were huge. The bill was less than a fiver - remarkable for such a good quality product with half a pig on each sandwich. We called back the next day we were so impressed

Hi, I gave this eatery another chance when I ordered a BEST (Bacon Egg Sausage and Tomato) the first time round and they palmed me off with a small sandwich and charged me for a large. The price on the menu board is for a large which I paid for. I phoned the owner and he was most cooperative and apologetic and wanted to make it right and offered me a free BEST the next time I was around. After all that I visited again before an 8 hour shift as my only port of call to get a feed, only to find that at 12pm there were no large bread cakes left whatsoever and only 12 small ones. I was FORCED to order 2 small ones as I wanted filling up before work only to find that the small ones were 10 pence... yes just 10 pence cheaper than the large ones (£2.80 instead of £2.90). I didn't want a small one in the first place. Would have been £5.60! I just walked off and went hungry until 9pm that night as I couldn't get out for any food. Twice they have left me starving. Never again

Visit here regular for a breakfast in a box its the perfect hangover cure thr dinner spesh is very good aswell.

I have been going to this cafe for a long time now and know a lot of people that visit here on a regular basis and i honestly cannot say a bad word about it! The people who work here are extremely friendly and are always happy to help and will try their upmost hardest to ensure your meal is up to a top quality standard. The van is really clean and is always being wiped down when I visit so I am certain that my food is being prepared in a hygienic environment! I have been visiting this cafe for years now and I plan to continue visiting for many years to come!!

Just finished my bacon sausage and bean sandwich, great service and a brilliant sandwich and good for the price too, couldn't fault it!

These guys do not deserve any business. avoid them at all costs! We have an office of 15 people here that used to order from them atleast 3-4 times a month. They have messed up orders several times and the last one they messed up to the point where the sandwiches couldnt be eaten. After explaining the situation on the phone the person I spoke to literally said that she hasnt got time for me and that it was her word against ours! she then proceeds to hang up the phone on me!! I drove down and demanded a full refund straight after and the whole office has now agreed to never use them again. No matter what type of business you are you learn to rectify mistakes and try to make the customer happy, especially when its their fault. These guys dont deserve any business and the food isnt even that nice. I also question the hygiene of the place.

So many places can mess up breakfasty food but Bee Jays is always nice. Never had anything not hit the spot.

We Dutch people love the breakfast from here be for we go back to the Netherlands. And our staying in England is not complete without the Chips and chappie.

Unfortunately I experienced cold uncooked sausages when I visited this cafe. Quite obvious they were not cooked when They were pink inside! Reading the other reviews, People recommend this place, not sure why when they can't cook properly! Disgusting.

Just bought a breakfast in a box. Sausages are the cheap nasty frozen asda smart price ones, they don't do toast which is ridiculous, beans are cheap and I asked for 2 runny eggs and got 2 over done hard eggs. Overall it tastes crap and I won't be going there again.

I can't find fault with this café, amazing customer service and great value, tasty home style food. Beejays always sets me right after a night out and I think every Wickes in the country should have their own little Beejays! It would draw people in without a doubt, keep it up the good work!

Simple food van catering to visitors of wickes.Great food, cooked well, ample portions and the price is very reasonable.Building trade do get freebies if you come at the right time, I think its 7am - 7.30 when you've bought your supplies from Wickes, just ask at the counter.There aren't many food van in Rotherham, most have closed from having competition like this.I do visit a couple of times a week, for work purposes I hope you understand.I would probably get supplies else where if it wasn't for this food van.

Me and my missus visit at least 3 times a week after our nightshifts for breakfast the varity of food from sandwiches to full on meals are great tasting and good value for money would recommend to anyone nice polite friendly staff too

Bee Jays Cafe makes probably the best sandwiches in Rotherham and has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere about it. The prices are competitive and they never seem to disappoint.

As a fairly regular visiter to this greasy spoon, iv never really had anything either good or bad to say. The food is fine for what it is and the prices are competitive, to let's say Cooplands of Greggs.Having been across today though I witnessed a member of staff smoking, ok no problem there, Its part and parcel of that kind of place.But when she walked back in and wiped her finger on a dirty cloth (dish cloth to wipe the sides with presumably) and then continued to make my sandwich, I made my excuses and left it there.There's a sink in there, wash your hands!! Food hygiene at it's very worst, and for that reason I'm out.

This is a bog standard, burger van, better than a some, but still a burger van. If you are wanting nice restaurant food, Bee Jays is listed under restaurants in Rotherham on this TA site, do not go here.

Called to Bee Jays after a quick trip to Dunelm nearby, my brother had recommended Bee Jays for tasty butties and he isn't wrong! I had a sausage and egg sandwich, only complaint was that they'd ran out of large breadcakes so had to settle for a regular one instead...

Went to BeeJays cafe earlier today and my god! The food was delicious! Youd think they'd higher the prices at food of this standard, its so tasty, and cheap too! £2.20 for a large bacon butty! cooked to perfection and the staff are lovely, if you're in rotherham, get down to wickes!

This place is great place with amazing sandwiches for the price that you pay. for a couple of quid you can buy a sandwich (try a best sandwich) that is miles better and greater value for money. Better then any main stream fast food place. this cafe also amazed me in the variety of things that they serve such as their stake and gravy, curry and pasta and there all spot on. the staff are really nice and offer a grate customer surface. this place already has great custom and this is because the food always goes down well.

Service is 1st rate, Food is excellentCannot recommend highly enough, I happily drive 5 miles for the steak and chips.The only downside is that Kev's doing homemade curry and chilli and now there's a decision to be made when I order :) Well worth the trip

Been using this cafe for a few months now and i carnt really fault it, ive tried most of the sandwiches, and the meals they do; steak n gravy and onions ,delishhhh. carnt fault the home made pasta's or currys either, Real meat none of that processed rubbish. GREAT Portions too. A must try cafe.

Had a breakfast sandwich from here recently and the breadcake was large and soft nicely cooked bacon,nice mushrooms and a good scoop of tomatoes.I've had hot sandwiches from all over the town and this experience ranks as the best .

Me & my team must have been frequent visitors for the last 6 months, at least 3 times a week. Everything that these guys do is real food at a realistic price, exceptional service with a smile every time nothing is to much trouble for them. A must if your hungry at lunch time is the phenomenal pie chips peas & gravy, it's to die for. Well done guys keep up the great work we love you.

Fantastic steak and chips and the breakfasts are amazing. Staff always very friendly. This is a very affordable takeaway and they even provide a place to sit inside.
