Chicken over cooked cold chips Will not judge again

Anytime i ask for salt is ignored. Delivery man rude. Fish not seasoned. Need salt and pepper etc. Why are you not season your fish? But it is normal in uk what is a fish and chips country. But they serve the worst fish. No taste.

Never usually hav an issue with my food from here. But the chips was semi frozen and bit into my chicken doner and the chicken hasn’t even been cooked properly so I won’t be returning no more.

I love the food at this place but i just called them to find out WHY i have placed an order last night but didnt receive anything. This is the 2nd time this has happened: I wait an hour, start to call them and get no answer. The man on the phone just told me they dont open on mondays. I asked why my order was accepted online to be told he dont know why and will check. That is twice now i have waited patiently for food after a long day at work, to have to cook my own. At this point it is 9pm and way too late to start cooking when you have an early start the next day. The website NEEDS updating. And the opening times on google needs updating. Very disappointing. Really ruined my evening. Although the food is lovely when i do receive it. I'm not sure i want to go through this again and will find another establishment that i KNOW is open

Took 30 mins to make a 1/3 pounder & chips ridiculous! The chips tasted weird too wouldn’t recommend.

Despite the change in ownership, the standard of food and service has not disappointed. Third time buying here since the change, food was delicious on all occasions. Thank you.

This place is a 3, had to throw half of the food away. Chips were too hard Donna was too dry, and sausage in the batter didn't have enough better

Had a quarter pounder burger with chips. The beef was tasty, succulent, and juicy. The salad used was fresh and crunchy. Chips were well fried and non-greasy. Venue and tables were clean, with no dust in sight. Well done to the chef for a beautiful meal 😍

Pretty bad, the quality used to be really good before the takeover, so I probably won't be coming back here for a while. Around 10% of the chips I got were delicious - thick and crispy, while the rest were hard/stale and empty on the inside. I did not enjoy this experience, sorry.

I love this place. The food is always nice and the chips are lovely. They're always well cooked and a lot are crispy, which is how I like them. I've never had a bad meal here.

Ordered a large donor kebab large chips on Saturday 28/05/2022 it was awful you could not open the pitta bread it was ROCK hard the meat was SO dry the chip were not to bad. Spent £11 and it was vile never going to order from there again chese on toast it is.

Would never order from this place again! food took 2 hours and 30 minutes to come!! Called this place up twice, second time I was told 10 minutes, didn’t show up for another 30!! Then had the cheek to miss off salad and sauce!! Absolute madness

Do not waste your money here. I would give them 0 stars if I could they don’t deserve 1. My food took 2 hours to come I called them 3 times spoke with the manager who was very rude, he said what do I want him to do about it they are busy, 2 hours later the food order was wrong I called them back again told them it’s taken 2 hours and the order is wrong he said give the food back to my driver and put the phone down. Discusting!!! I have deleted there number from my phone I will never be ordering from them again and will advise friends and family not to. I do not recommend this place is a joke.

I ordered ribs and chips and there was no salt ,on uber eats he advertised as if they were a Turkish shop but ended up being a fish and chips shop. Very nasty ribs.

It's hard to understand why there are negative reviews about this takeaway because whenever I have received an order of large fish and chips, or a kebab, they always taste really good, plus my delivery always comes impeccably wrapped, and on time! The fish is always served in a box, chips are wrapped up separately and the whole order is in a branded bag... Attention to detail you will not get anywhere else! The chips always taste freshly cooked and the fish is wow wow wow!!  You always get a massive portion of fish, larger than any other place in the area! Let's just say if you have a big appetite you will not regret ordering this!!! This time around (I have ordered from here at least 6 times) I ordered fish and chips in pitta and I was not disappointed as usual. This takeaway is my 'go to' for fish and chips mostly, but I do have other items on the menu and they taste great also.  All in all a fantastic takeaway!

Ordered from here tonight..Had it twice before and it was lovely..Tonight pitta bread full of grease..And all the chips were dry and crunchy..Chicken was nice..my sisters was the same 2weeks ago..becontree bbq you need to sort this out couldn't eat the chips or the pitta bread..you shouldn't put the meat in the pitta should leave it separate..Its really put me off now..hope u can get back to how u were before..get your act together before u lose more customers.

Don’t know how this place has business or has anyone return after Donna kebabs couple days ago I experienced, a lot of bones an nasty bits in the lamb Donna, only good thing the chilli sauce, was terrible quality Donna instant regret soon as had first piece of Donna , never again better off with beans on toast

First time I ordered and look what I found in kebab...🤮🤮🤮🤮 I will never come again...

The cod is the best I've had in years loads of chips and the lemon and sauce is a great touch I will be ordering again .

Use to love there fish but very disappointed bit I had last night dry overcooked and had more batter than fish.

Not good. Ordering is like playing Russian roulette. Sometimes good sometimes bad. But someone had the fish and was ill also found a black hair in a salad that is not our hair as there is nobody with black hair in my family. Will not be back..shame really used to like it there but not worth the hassle.

Kebab meat always ask for well done and every single time its cut in thick chunks and looks undercooked.

Only rated 3 because food is nice but I'm fed up of asking for no cheese and sauce on burgers and I always missing an item like now i just ordered and they have messed up again

I have had a lot of take aways and been to lots of 5 STAR restaurants but I can't believe this take away is like being in a restaurant when it arrives and we always order the platter and it is hot when delivered and you get so much for your money but best of all it tastes great just try it for yourself don't like chips but will eat theirs

If you want a box or bag of grease then go here food is bland and overcooked/undercooked depending what you have and the doner meat was literally dripping with fat and grease. Disgusting quality of food. DO NOT EAT HERE

Shame can't give 0 stars. Food is disgusting and quality has gone downhill. Got chips that were hard and cold like they had been out all day. Large kebab was more like a child's portion and the chicken, well I have never known chicken to taste like that. It's a shame the old owners left the food was delicious back then. And the staff are extremely rude. Avoid cos there's a better kebab shop at Andrews corner that also deliver.

Absolutely vile . turned up with stone cold chips . soggy pitta .greasy kebab that was dripping fat from the box . and fish that could of swam back to sea the so called batter was so fatty it was ripped of by the paper and when lifted it up its dripped fat All over the table . when ringing him I didn't even state my address or what food I ordered he knew straight away that he served this to us and then had the cheek to get rude . I wouldn't give this food to my dogs . go elsewhere

we often order from here. the food is nice. it arrives on time and is tasty. its essentially, a fish and chip and kebab shop. very nice. they will add whatever sauce you need (we have their very hot chilli sauce with burger sauce)

We bought some takeaway , burger and kebab, the delivery time was 10 minutes faster, and the driver polite, he brought the wrong soft drink, however offered to exchange it, in 10 mins he was back!

The food value of money but the person who might be running the business is very rude.

I would not recommend this place for food. I ordered cod, chips and a savaloy. My order was an hour late. At which I tried to contact the takeaway with the call not going through. Ten minutes before my order arrived I managed to get through when the takeaway answered and told me that "one of our drivers had an accident" hence why it was being delayed. I learned later that they use this excuse often! When my food finally arrived the paper packaging was cover in oil! The fish batter was rock hard. Chips were soggy. And mushy peas were cold. Do not use.

FILTH!! Worst takeaway meal I've ever SEEN let alone tasted, chips were underneath the Chicken Doner Meat Floating in at least 2mm of oil tried to use paper napkins to salvage some of it but unedible. Rang the shop and was met with NO apology just excuses will never order from there again!!! Unfortunately can't add photo to this review. Would rate 0 starts if I could.

Made my first order from here today. I ordered a large mixed kebab, donner roll kebab and large chips. The portion sizes were very reasonable for the price. I was happy that the delivery arrived 15 minutes early, as I was really hungry. The large mixed kebab came with a side of salad separately packed but dissapointingly didn't come with the garlic sauce I asked for so I had a large amount of dry meat to eat. The donner roll kebab came with a burger bun instead of a wrap or pitta which is what is usually served with a 'roll'. The meat tasted nice and the chips were of chip shop quality. Overall, I think their food is good and will be back again for something else.

Good food, nice services, fair prices.

Estimated delivery time was an hour after we ordered but it didn't arrived for an hour and 45 minutes. There was 5 bits of meat in the kebab and the fish was soggy. Rude members of staff on the phone when we complained about our order and threatened to cancel the whole order when we asked why our order was taking so long

When it was kens fish shop was lovely and done pukka spare ribs, now its dirty halal meat and no spare ribs.

Completely s**t found a bug or something in my chips fish was soggy and yellow and filled with oil and grease the curry sauce was full of lumps and none of it was hot it was all cold had friends round for a meal and after eating a tiny bit went in to my garden and started to through up everywhere wouldn't recommend eating there at all unless you want to be ill and when I phoned up to complain the staff was very rude and arrogant and when I asked to speak to the boss they wouldn't put him on and said can't do anything to help you and didn't even apologise and when my food turned up it was all wrong and was very rude to me when i sent it back would never order from here again

I went to kens fish bar today and ordered a kerbab and a pot of chilli sauce, i got home and there was no chilli sauce so i gave the a ring to see if they would put their mistake right. hhhhmmmm no they said they are sorry that they forgot the chilli sauce because they were busy there were 2 more indian people in the chipshop eating 1 bag of chips between them so they have cheated me out of my chilli sauce aswell as lied to me and my family i will never go here again!!!
