A gorgeous local cafe full of delights. Not a small sandwich in sight. Out of this world scotch eggs. Get there early though!

Visited once again recently with my Mother who loves both the Scotch Eggs and Sarah's line in friendly chat. This time we discovered Sarah has now expanded into producing her own freshly made Pies! I have not tried them yet as I had already ordered the Welsh Sirloin Philly Cheese Steak Ciabatta from the Specials board. As always the food and welcome were equally satisfying. A1

OMG the scotch eggs and sausage rolls are the best ever . The best ever tasted. Fantastic local welcome , cappuccino is smooth extra hot - perfection for me . Service is with kindness too . Fresh ingredients cooked within eye view nothing to hide . The smell is lush when Sarah is in full flow

We enjoyed a wonderful buffet from Sara for my daughter's hen do last night. Everyone enjoyed and praised the food, in particular she makes the best home made sausage rolls and scotch eggs. Sara was very accommodating throughout, dealing with last minute orders and changes to the brief with ease. Thank you so much

I drop in here quite often sometimes just for a quick take-out coffee and sometimes for a more leisurely breakfast or lunch and a chat! The regular menu is varied and extensive with weekly specials too. Pretty much anything can be done as a Wrap or a Panini instead of a roll if you ask nicely! Home-made Sausage Rolls and Scotch Eggs (complete with runny yolks) are top of the Must-Try list! Introducing Friend to this place it particular pleasure so it become just a little less of a Hidden Gem.

The absolute best cakes I've ever tasted , they do a lovely little raspberry cake that to die for, the raspberry ripple ice cream is amazing, friendly staff, dogs allowed inside to which is a bonus for us, for me the coffee is just not hot enough but I do like my drinks boiling hot, and a larger coffee than the regular would be good too, the coffee itself it's one of the nicest I've tasted.

I've always had difficulty finding a good place for lunch (in Porthmadog) so Breaktimes (despite being on an industrial estate: glad I didn't let that put me off) was perfect: great food, friendly service, pricing good for nowadays and for the quality of the food. It's also licensed which is a real bonus after shopping in Porthmadog or coming here for a day out by train. We were also able to take our dog but I think we could only sit outside (?) so I'm glad it was a good day. Our waitress immediately brought her a bowl of water which was such a nice touch. Our food was excellent (Penang sweet potato curry for me, and a very good beefburger for husband). I've since told friends about/highly recommended Breaktimes and look forward to my next Porthmadog outing just for lunch 'out'!

This is such a great spot to grab a quick coffee whilst walking along the prom and soaking up the view. I managed to resist the cakes but they look awesome!
