Haven't been in for a while. Used to go more often but the quality of the food is not the same. Only had half of my meal as it didn't taste good and was still made to pay for bacon that she forgot to charge me for. Bad food Bad customer service 😒😡

We had quite a good lunch. Generous portion although my ciabatta was a bit hard. It has a pleasant atmosphere to sit inside.

I thought I would treat myself today to a piece of gluten free cake from bepo. Well I have never been so disappointed. I bought a slice of cheesecake. It took them ages to put it in its takeout box. When I got home the size was ridiculous for the price. Then when I tried it, it was very dry with no taste. As the only place in Hatfield that gives you a choice of gluten free cakes, you think they would make an effort to a decent size. I didn’t eat it and won’t be buying cake from them again.

Bebo is my go to cafe. Friendly staff good food and good coffee

Wow! The staff is exceptional! Shout out to the blue haired brudda, moving like Chelsea. Also big up the Gwen Stacey ting and last but not least the girl with the purple hair. Really made me feel like I’m part of the Bebo family. These guys are class! Such nice young fellas, made God bless their souls🙏🏾

The atmosphere is nice but when we get to see friends in there we have notice for weeks a ligts that goes on and off and it spoils the cafe and a hand dryer that I have told that don't work in the toilets there and been like it ages it would be good for bebo to get it sorted .

I like pretty much everything this coffee shop has to offer. But if I were to choose one thing, that would be the calm atmosphere. The fact that there is NO loud music playing is GOLD.

I had lunch here, and very poorly. The sandwich was cold and too dry but very expensive .I will never go again .The bar was very dirty and the table I was in was the same .

It’s become a bit of a habit coming in here Monday to Friday before work and ordering the same thing. 99% of the time, it is a lovely chap called Charlie working. He greets me every day, knows my order and is always full of laughter and chatter. Excellent service really makes a different and unfortunately I will continue to spend all my money in here! Keep up the good work

Haven’t got a good service with picking up from “too good to go” .

Food ok, service slow and bad. In the end did not even get one of the orders before giving up waiting - staff did nothing to resolve matter.

Avoid, waited 25mins for my breakfast and gave up/requested a refund. Food all came out at different times, family was done way before. Mine was back of the queue it seemed. Staff not very apologetic and didn't really care.

Breakfast was terrible. Eggs overcooked, cold sausages (re heated), old beans. Our groups breakfasts were served 20 minutes apart. At £12+ this was the most over priced food I've had in years.

We had hot drinks which were quite nice. The young man was a little slow to offer any assistance serving us. Fresh cakes fairly good.

Bebo is a nice little cafe in the centre of Hatfield town centre. It is a short walk from Asda and also the bus stop and close to other shops as well. I have been here a couple of times and I have always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. They sell a wide variety of coffees, teas and cold drinks. There are also cakes and snacks to purchase. They have seating inside and outside and it is clean and well presented. Highly recommended!

Staff are rude, the last time I was there I was 10 mins and staff were just walking past me and would not take my order or update me on the delay. Arrogant and they have contempt for the customer. Never coming back

This was a sandwich 🥪 Pastrami, cheese, mustard, pickle, and avocado!!! You will not see many sandwiches on my feed other than when I was in Italy. I am not a sandwiches lover, but I think I will have to have a go at a few ideas after this. Works meeting and a little peckish, so we went to a local sandwich shop @bebocafedeli in Hatfield, I couldn't get enough of this, around £6 I added the avocado as extra, it came in the box with a good handful of crisps 😋 I think there is one or two of these around in that part of the world. If you come across one, please try it. We had 8 different sandwiches, and everyone was more than happy with it 😀 Thanks to the team at Bebo, the food was great. we even had a little freebie, date, and ginger cookies. I didn't like the sound of them but super tasty. We placed the order over the phone and asked for a time to collect, smooth, simple, and tasty. What more can you ask for. My partner and I had a pleasant afternoon drink. I quite enjoyed the gluten free lemon cake too. Those are a sensible size and not too big. Coffee was nice. Reasonable service

Just popped in for a coffee Ordered a Double Espresso server offered me a glass of water (which you don’t get offered most places) Actually warmed my cup before she prepared the coffee ….. first class job

We didn't go into the cafe but had food delivered to both work and then an evening buffet with chilli and stroganoff. All the food was fabulous and all went very quickly. Thank you very much for your flexibility and making our events pass without people being hungry!

I invited an American friend for the English Tea. This has to be booked and at a time. I asked for no chicken in the sandwiches and no sultanas in the scones and was told this would be done. We arrived and 2 staff were chatting, explained we had a booking and were shown to a table with very pretty china and asked about drinks. Tea arrived but the food, pre-ordered, took another 25 minutes. I assume they were not baking the scones or cakes! My guest had a train to catch afterwards so I tried a few times to catch the eye of staff but they ignored me and carried on chatting. I finally went to the counter and was told it would be ready soon. I explained about the train and the food finally arrived. There were chicken sandwiches and sultanas in the scones. However the sandwiches apart from chicken were very good as were the huge scones. Portions of jam and cream were a bit mean for the amount of scone. The little cakes had been advertised to be brownies, tray bake and bakewells and I requested not brownies as a US guest and they'd have them, and English ones were better for English Tea. We just got traybake and sponges. Bakewells would have been good. The cakes were very fresh and fine though. Sadly we felt rushed because of the delay in getting food and then to get more tea and hot water I had to attract the attention of the chatting together staff, which took a while. The venue was not at all full, so it wasn't that they were at all busy. The delay and staff chatters did spoil things a bit but the actual food was fine.

My partner and I enjoyed our paninis and appreciate the nice touch of crisps served with them. They offer a wide selection of savoury food, and cakes too. Just my coffee didn't stay hot so long this time. Pleased

I got some takeaway jacket potatoes. They were beautifully cooked and the chilli was gorgeous. The speed of service was an awful lot to be desired. My takeaway order was plated up and brought out on to the restaurant floor, before they realised and tried to sneak it back in to the kitchen to box it up.

First, the table was so sticky and the sugars on the table were rock hard and old. Secondly they gave us 2 bad cappuccinos which chocolate power all over the saucer. The coffee was bad quality. Next, we waited ages for the food, we ordered eggs benedict and eggs royale £6.99, when it arrived the bread used was so hard and stale I couldn’t cut it with a knife. The salmon was old. The eggs was ok. The cafe is a good size however the tables and chairs need changing. They are dirty and old. The ingredients and coffee are not good quality. And the kitchen I’m sorry but it’s too slow to wait a long time for eggs. Maybe you need more people in the kitchen. It’s a cafe not a restaurant. The customers are in and out quickly. I would not visit again.

Came on Saturday afternoon for lunch. Sandwich was nice. Coffee served lukewarm. Carrot cake & chocolate cake stale. 3 tables left uncleared & I cleaned. Poorly managed cafe. Attention to detail lacking.

The stuff very rude ! They talk to us in rude way and the only thing that we done is to walk in on the mopped floor that we didn’t even saw .their way was so bad that we finally decides to leave .the floor finally stay clear !

The staff was very rude and they don't have any sense of customer services. We went there to drink our coffee but the way that the staff talk to us make us to leave the place immediately and look another place to enjoy our coffee break.

Went for breakfast and I have to say the service was appalling. Ordered 4 different breakfast waited 20 minutes for 3 to arrive. Chased the 4th breakfast to be told it was on the way. 3 breakfasts finished chased again to be told it was on the way. Suddenly the manager appeared quite rudely saying the 4th breakfast hadn't been ordered. I pointed out that we had asjed for it but he insisted again rudely that we had not ordered or paid for it. Not wishing to causr a scene I pointed out that the service had bedn extremely poor and that I would leave it there. We then left and the manager bizarrely followed us outside protesting his case, I walked away and suggested he didn't follow! NEVER WILL I RETURN TO THIS SHAMBOLIC ESTABLISHMENT, MANAGER NEEDS URGENT TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE

The cakes have been there 1 year seriously the carrot cake has been there before even covid. The "manager" wares a dirty uniform every day for so long I can't even remember he has always dirty hands and he makes food like that he touches the broom and everything dirty and then prepares the food without washing his hands. The staff are nice but the manager is always angry and rude, he makes the worst coffee in there I doubt he knows how to make a coffee at all. Someone need to inspect this place

Some of the staff should learn customer skills instead of hoovering at 3pm when coffee shop closed at 5pm you could put smile on your face and pretend you enjoy what you do.

Very disappointing. I ordered a gluten free chicken bacon and cheese sandwich with salad as in the menu. I was given hard white bread with no salad and a few crisps. I asked the waitress where the salad was and was told that would be extra. This was advertised as sandwich with leafysalad.. I have been in Bebos a few times both in WGC and Hatfield. Not worth the money paid

Stopped by for an afternoon tea for 2 today and all of the staff were really friendly and couldn't be more accommodating! Everything was really tasty and fresh, and the scones were lovely. I would definitely return again. Thank you team BEBO Hatfield for a great afternoon tea experience ☺️

Great tasting coffee and treats.

This is a review for Bebo Cafe, Hatfield. Very dirty and unhygienic practices in there. The member of staff who was preparing the sandwich I had ordered was licking his fingers as he touched my food during prep. I had to call out to him from behind the counter to ask him why he was doing what he was doing. Not the first time I’ve seen someone preparing food in there and doing something disgusting. The last time, it was someone running their hands through their hair. All this in the middle of a pandemic.So much for supporting local small businesses. Never going in there again!

The new chef/management Not sure who he is but he is absolutely so rude, especially to children. When i tried to complain about how he spoke to my son he walked off and said "anyway!" Constantly hoovering and mopping around customers, never smiling and never had a good customer service experience whilst getting my coffee and food here since he has started. Packs up early and waits around you so you feel rushed so he can pack the tables and leave. Sad to say it has gone down hill since he started here. Would have recommended before but now...no way! Rude, overpriced and disgusting atmosphere especially whwn dining with children.

I reached Hatfield early for an appt and chanced upon this place. It made my day. One of the best breakfasts ever and I've been to some of the more known places in London (Christopher's, Chiltern Firehouse etc). Highly recommend.

Sad to write this as I loved it here before. I ordered via Uber Eats and added a special note to say no pesto, however it came with pesto (I'm allergic to it so I couldn't eat it). I phoned up to report it was wrong and was welcomed by some serious attitude from the employee who picked up the phone. It takes a lot for me to loose my rag, but the attitude on this man was exceptional. I appreciate they are busy but it's really not an excuse. He interrupted me, proceeded to tell me I had not included anything in the special notes (even though it's written on the recipt that arrived at my house tapped to the bag), he offered to send another out, then retracted that and said I would have to give it back to the driver for that to happen (who was obviously long gone by now). He then fnally, after a lot of back and forth arguing said he can refund me "later" because he is "too busy now". A shame really as its put me off going in the cafè or ordering through Uber Eats again.

Really friendly staff and reasonably priced delicious food! Definitely the best café in Hatfield. There is a huge menu to choose from including breakfast items until 12 and many other items like panini's and baked potatoes. It even has a great vegan selection.

Every time we come here it's a disappointment. The staff is really rude, never smile or complete orders well. The products are overpriced and small. We have ordered Frappes which state on the board that they are coffee drinks and on the picture they come with cream and sauce on top. We were provided with a drink without coffee, cream and sauce and paid 7quid for 2 small sizes.when asked about where the coffee, cream and sauce were, we were told all of those are extras. Which would bring the already overpriced drink to a ridiculous new high. Whoever hires these people need to do a better job and the manager need to look at some of these products. Each product should have a clear explanation below so that people know what is included.

Nice place but over priced breakfast and not very nice, over cooked poached eggs (not running) dry hard bacon too many beans. No toast as it extra!!! Croissant cold and not very nice taste. Scrambled egg like one big Congealed mass.

Have visited Bebo on numerous occasions , on each visit the service has been excellent with pleasant staff , I have had various meals on every visit and each time the food has been delicious and hot , Bebo is definitely the nicest place in Hatfield Town to catch up with friends over a coffee and lunch

I have been meaning to come here for a while. The cafe is nice and looks nice so I was looking forward to eating here. Staff are nice enough but firstly I wasn’t even offered a glass for me to drink my coke from so had to drinks from the can.

Turned up today with my sister and dad to try to order coffee and cake. Got in and picked what we wanted at the counter. Tried to order at 2:30 on a Sunday and was told they are closed and we can’t order. All doors where open, drinks being made and people where sat at tables!?!? I don’t know if the staff just didn’t like the look of us. They offered no explanation!!

Visited on many occasions. Coffee is always great and food amazing. Goat cheese and pear salad is our fav. Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch
