We had an aperitif here and we loved the elegance and the service, we will come back definitely for another drink.

EVITAR!! A menos que te gusta fumar shisha.

I booked this as part of a groupon deal for £32.50 for two people, this included three courses each with a glass of wine and a cocktail each. The place is really dark inside, but it was nice. The waiter was lovely too. Wasn't an enthusiastic start to our visit though as there was only one other person in the restaurant, I usually take the opinion that if a restaurant isn't all that busy then there's probably a very good reason for this - and there probably is in this case.Cocktail was served just before starters, lovely Mojito! Started of King Prawn tempura was nice, my mum's Bruschetta was a bit bland and she commented that all she could taste was the balsamic. The house red wine was lovely, this was served with our main. Now the main, if we had been paying full price for this we would've been raging. I had the Chicken Curry, was a tiny portion served with half a shop bought nan-bread; saving grace was that it was nice. My mum had the Chilli Con Carne, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad. Could've done with some sour cream or any of the little extras to make it that bit better. Both had Vanilla Cheesecake for desert, it was nice. Can't really say much more about the place to be honest, there wasn't really any atmosphere, the toilets were ok and if you have a deal then yeh the food is acceptable, otherwise I wouldn't really go out my way to come here.

Well...where shall we start? This place is dark dingy dirty and HORRIBLE! the furniture is cheap and uncomfortable and when me and my friends arrived, it was clear that were were a 'niche' clique of customers (probably family/close friends) getting treated a LOT better than others and receiving discounts on drinks etc without vouchers. But that's not where it ends... the food, waste of money - grab yourself a McDonalds or better yet find a hot dog stand - all of which would probably be more hygienic and tasty than whats served here. The ladies room did not look suitable for ladies, I was surprised i didn't step on any needles whilst in there, the flush didnt work the bins weren't lined the place stunk and the dispenser machine on the wall did not function either. The staff didn't seem bothered at all about engaging with us - can't blame them tho, they are probably working in one of the worst places in london and with the actual bar being in such a state i can't begin to imagine what the management staff are like!. Won't be returning as i dont know what I'd be returning to, is this place a bar? a shisha bar? a resturant? a secret society? or some secret entrance to an illegal massage parlor? Take it from someone who's had some GOOD afternoons/nights out in london, this place isn't worth it.

We were bought a groupon voucher by a family member and I am afraid that you can see why they are selling groupon vouchers. They are based in the heart of Knightsbridge so one would assume it would be really quite good as you have to make a certain success of the place to pay high rates in the area.I will qualify my review by saying this looks like a great place to drink and smoke shisha if that's what you like (people were smoking shisha outside). The cocktail list was extensive and bar area was trendy enough. We had a cocktail which is the only thing this place got right. To book at a table at this place you have to call between 9-5 weekdays and speak to a lady that really doesn't like people or customers. It's almost as though she is doing you a favour by booking you in to this very place. Normally an approach to booking like this is associated with high end establishments such as Scott's or Claridges - at least the are polite though! The restaurant is not exclusive at all for reasons which I'll document and show in my attached photo's.- I was met by a chap dressed as a bouncer/magician - black shirt/tie, blazer who seemed less than impressed that we were there to eat. - Seated in a corner of the restaurant with next to no space to get in and out of.-Wallpaper peeling from walls-TV playing a music channel with speakers playing music (that wasn't even the music on the screen) at full volume. Gyms play music channels, not restaurants! - they couldn't even get this right though!- Paper napkins, in a restaurant! Wow.-Non-descript 'house-red' was disgusting and served in a dirty glass.-With the groupon voucher, which cost about a tenner probably, the food bill would otherwise have been around £90! for what! The food was nothing other than appalling. The menu, served in 20 years old looking plastic wallet in a faux leather skin was reminiscent of a happy eater on the m6. My starter was two lumps of dried kebab with some wilted rocket salad hanging off the plate. My fish and chips were two 'clumps' over some kind of fish with the most terrible batter I've ever seen and taste (it tasted as though it was cooked in old engine oil) and again was presented like they had been throwing it round the kitchen. My partners food was just as bad. Her chorizo looked like a couple of slices of withered pepperami and her mussels were cold they also appeared to be served in what looked like carbonara sauce, whatever it was, it certainly had the consistency of it When we complained about the mussels, the waiter asked what we would like him to do about it? then paused, then said 'shall i take it away for you?' joke. The same plate then came out 5 minutes later so had obviously been put in the microwave - again, joke! Save your money, you could cook better food with your eyes shut. In fact, they probably did as we felt completely ill getting the tube back to Crouch End. Avoid at all costs if you want food - for a drink, it'll do but go somewhere that doesn't look like its 25 years out of date.

Very disappointing, was bought this wowcher as a present, 3 course meal sounded nice for the price, however....Food was edible but for the "list price", shocking. If you are serving chips, at least make them nice, hand cut chips. I can get frozen chips in my local cafe, and better presented. The burger was average, 7oz?? Not sure about that, and lacked seasoning. The steak and guiness pie was tasty, but for 12,99, give me fresh, not frozen microwaved mash, or at leat make it look fresh by giving it a good forking. We aren't big dessert eaters, so asked for and was refused a coffee, as it wasn't on the menu, surely coffee would have been a more cost effective option for them, cost of espresso to them would have been 20p, against price of frozen, rubber cheesecake, after tasting it, probably 30p worth.Ambience was awful, dark and stunk of shisha, which is great if you like shisha and aren't eating.and drinks were expensive.

After reading all the negative reviews on here, I was really preparing myself for the worst when I booked a table for yesterday evening to use my Living Social voucher. I expected the food to be awful, the place to be dark and dingy, the service to come with attitude. Actually, apart from a pointless comment from the member of staff who took my booking, it wasn’t such a bad experience. Management – please advise your staff to either think before they speak or to at least train them on providing better customer service and not to make comments such as “it’s rather short notice” when a customer calls on a Monday lunchtime to make a table booking for that evening. As a customer, I’m not asking the opinion of how much notice I’m giving, I simply want to know if it is possible to make a reservation for my stated time or not. And as expected - it was a Monday night, very quiet and me and my Mum were literally the only 2 people in the restaurant area. Also, your website states that the booking reservation line is open from 9am. I had called 3 times from 11am over the course of the morning - there was unfortunately no answer and a voicemail message saying the mailbox was full. I tried calling for the final time around 2pm to make a reservation, prepared to give up, before someone answered the phone. I also sent an email that morning, in case that may be answered any quicker. It’s now the next day, I’ve been, ate in the restaurant and still not received a reply to my email. Again, I’m sure I don’t need to point out that this isn’t good customer service. There were only a few people outside smoking shisha by the time we arrived for our 7.30pm booking, another couple standing by the bar and the restaurant was completely empty…. I’m sure that the scene inside wasn’t much different that afternoon. So I’m not sure why no one managed to check the emails inbox, as there seemed ample time to do so. Otherwise the evening itself wasn’t too bad. The food was nice, not as bad as I expected. Whoever wrote that going to McDonalds would’ve been a better option, I think that was slightly harsh. Our voucher entitled us to a 3 course meal, between us we got the lamb kebabs, the prawn tempura, a burger, the Thai green chicken curry and the macaroons to end the evening. The food presentation was good and the food itself tasty. The only shame was the lack of macaroons for the dessert, as for the price of £5 – you’re only given 3 (per person). The restaurant wasn’t as dark as the bar area, so I’m not sure why so many reviews said they needed to use their phones as lights. The tables were a bit tightly packed, but the actual interior is quite small anyway and that’s quite a norm in old central London buildings. As we were the only customers, it wasn’t an issue.Overall, not as bad as I anticipated. I probably wouldn’t go there again, the food is certainly not cheap, but the visit certainly wasn’t as awful as everyone describes.

I would never recommend this as a place to book. I purchased (wish I had not) a Woucher for a 3 course meal here for 22nd March 2015. I asked for a 6pm meal, called and checked a week later and had to re-book as the reservation had not been made. On the evening of Friday 21st I realised we there show we were seeing at The Peacock theatre started at 7.30 and there was no way we could eat a 3 course meal and get back over the other side to see show. I therefore called them Friday evening to see if I could move the time forward by an hour, the response I received from a very rude receptionist actually left me aghast and I put the phone down in shock. “no you cannot change it, did you not read your groupon!” I explained it was a woucher and again, “then you know you cannot change it” … honestly I could not believe how rude this lady was. Needless to say, we did not attend the meal, they have made a profit and I would never recommend or eat there in the future.

The clue is in the title - this is a bar with a small dinning area and tables that are rather close together. The lighting is subdued almost dark for we had to use the light from our mobils to read the menu. Expect the music to be of a level that reflects that of bar although the majority of customers could be found sitting outside chatting or enjoying a smoke pipe. The staff are very friendly and the service very good. The food however is way below par for that of even a bar and pricey too £15 for a rather plain burger accompanied by a scattering of chips! Don't be fooled because it's in Knightsbridge there are far better venues in the same location.

Well, the offer was attractive and we wanted to go there but the manager of the restaurant was extremely rude with us so we didn't even manage to make a reservation and had to refund the voucher. The manager told me that that day they were busy and no available tables for us but only for the buyers of Groupon vouchers because their vouchers gonna expire that day and when I told that we want exactly that day and it has nothing to do with the voucher but the date was important for us (very politely though) she started screaming at me that I'm childish and she can't everything that I want and so on and when I asked her why is she so rude with me she shouted that it was me who was rude and I started first and many other rubbish stuff. When I asked for a manager she nervously replied that she is a manager and when I asked to talk to the owner she sarcastically replied: "I am the owner! Is there anybody else you wanna talk to???!!!" I really can't find the proper words how to describe this absolutely horrible attitude to the customers cause never had to deal with such fantastically horrible customer service... Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

Was given a Groupon voucher for here as a gift so I'm not sure what the actual cost was but regardless, it was very poor place for food quality. The list price of the voucher was over £90 GBP... but the quality was poor. BUT I must stress I don't know what was actually paid for the voucher. However, regardless I can't see any amount would really justify the quality.Firstly I thought was going to be more like a restaurant. Upon arrival there was banging music in a dimly lit neon bar with a few tables upon a raised platform towards the back.Nothing like a restaurant.Maybe those that did buy vouchers knew what they were in for. Unfortunately we didn't.We were initially sat at the bar for our 'free cocktail' (part of the deal). We chose mojitos and when the barman saw our faces as we tasted them he offered to add more 'alcohol'. I write 'alcohol' because even though they were topped up, it still tasted weird. Besides, when have you EVER been in a London bar and they've given you more alcohol for free because you thought your drink was weak? - Think about it...Menu selection was really just pub food.Main dishes came with a basic, basic salad and oven style chips that you make at home.I tried to add up the cost of the food if we were to order as a regular stop-in customer. It was well below the list value of the voucher.OK so trying to be more pragmatic about the whole thing...Maybe we had more food and drink than what was paid for but still, it's all pretty basic, very, very average food.Service was OK.And the best bit, the macaroons for dessert, which actually we took home because we couldn't be bothered to sit there. Was hyped up for a nice dinner out.,, massively let down.My point is, make sure you know where you're going beforehand and don't expect anything memorable.

We went with two friends last Friday. It was pouring with rain and the traffic was terrible. Our booking was for 7 pm and we did not arrive until 7.30 pm. I did call ahead about our lateness and the restaurant was most accommodating, despite the fact that it was teeming with customers. Upon our arrival, we were shown directly to our table. A choice of cocktails for starters. We ordered a variety of starters - prawns, samosas, fried chicken nuggets - all exceeded our expectations as the place was a bar/restaurant. Our main courses - mussels, lamb cutlets, fish and chips - again the food were excellent, tasty, well cooked and presented. We had a glass of wine each with our meals too except the friend who drove us home. He was allowed to change his into a soft drink, hassle free service all the way. Cheese cakes and ice cream for desserts topped our fun feel evening together. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - 10 out of 10 for efficient, friendly and relaxing services throughout our time there.

I am so glad that I did not pay full price for the food. I went to Beauchamp Bar last night using a voucher from Groupon. I havea good mind to demand my money back but I know its the luck of the draw when you purchase a voucher. It is too dark in there with the decor being mainly black. The shisha pipes being smoked by customers cause the place to have a sickly sweet smell which isnt great when you are eating. When you arrive you are given a choice of two cocktails. One being a mojito and the other being a tequila sunrise. Both sickly sweet to drink - so we ditched them. the house wine offered was fine to drink. Menu wise - there is a lot to choose from. Portion size it is good but taste wise. Horrendous. I ordered the tempura prawns. Tempura batter is meant to be light and airy. This was dry and dense. My friend ordered the deep fried brie. The brie was stone cold and solid when it should melt as you cut into it. For the main I ordered the moules with chips. Chips were yet again dry but edible. The Moules!!!! Most of the shells were broken and the the mussel itself was totally and utterly dry that they had shrivelled up to the size of a pea. There was no sause either. Just a light coating on the shells. It appeared to me that they were not freshly cooked in a pan but microwaved. I sent them straight back. I was offered an alternative dish but looking at what my friend had ordered and dishes on other tables I decided not to bother. My friend order a pie. Not very pleasing to the eye and the pastry was soggy. A dollop of mash was next to it. very unappetising and tastless. I couldnt tell you what the desserts are like due to us not being able to stand it a moment longer so we left. I have to say that the staff there are friendly and do try their best. They didnt appear to be very surprised by our complaints either. This place is totally overpriced for food that shouldnt be served to an animal. Will most definitely not be going back!!!

We had a voucher for four, and this was good value with the discount but I would have felt cheated if I had paid the full price. Nevertheless, the food was alright and the service was ok too. I could not really complain about much. I felt some of the food was slightly bland and the tables were too crammed in together. There's also a nasty step up/down to one area, which would not be good if you've had several drinks. The main complaint was that the tables were too close together. The alcohol and cocktails tasted ok and were not too weak.

We booked 9 people in for food at 8pm Saturday night. We were running a little late and tried to call but no answer - fair enough. When we arrived 10 minutes late, our table had been given to someone else... we then had to wait over an hour to be seated. We ordered a bottle of vodka between us whilst we waited, that took about 20 minutes to come. When we were seated they didnt even give us a menu, we had to ask, it is now about 9.30pm. The food that came out was tasteless, I had a thai green curry, but all my friends dishes were served with chips. Everything had chips, salmon and chips ! very odd and cheap. The dessert wasnt much better, I had a cheesecake which was obviously shop bought having a foamie texture. For saying its meant to be about £7 is definately not worth the money....There is also a lady who sits in the toilet expecting tips for passing me a hand towel, she was exceptionally rude when I spoke to her, and also discussing with another lady in there (the second time i went for a pee) how all English people are rude (not what you want to hear when you have been polite). We finally got out of the restaurant at 11.45pm - so the trip to London with a meal before drinks pretty much ended up being just a meal. Would not recommend!

Like every one else, I brought some vouchers from Groupon to go to this "restaurant" as it was cheap and thought it would be a nice restaurant as it was in Knightsbridge. I was totally wrong! I went with a group of 8 friends and upon arriving at the restaurant, around 20 minutes early, we couldn't sit at our table as apparently it wasn't ready. The restaurant itself was empty except a table of 4 close by. I didn't understand why they couldn't let us sit when we arrived but I didn't mention anything as we were early anyway. I assumed they wanted us to buy drinks from the bar to make more money of us. When we eventually sat down at our table, the restaurant itself was so dark, I could barely read the menu so I had to use my phone for some lighting. When the waitress came to take our order most the food on the menu was unavailable due to them being sold out as he waitress claims "it was a busy night" but like I said there were no customers in the restaurant apart from a table of 4. The food wasn't too bad itself, however they were not freshly prepared and was probably microwaved food or just heated up from bulk buying. My friends surprised me with a birthday chocolate birthday and when they brought it out, the chocolate was very soft and I knew from then that they had not put the cake in a fridge even though they claimed they did - would chocolate really melt in 5 minutes in a cold restaurant? They upset me the most when they threw away the box the cake came in so we were unable to put the cake back in the box to take home. Their solution was to put it in a container which we accepted then to find out they had no containers to put the cake in. So their next solution was to wrap the cake in tin foil. Well of course I accepted this offer and then gave the cake to the taxi driver who picked us up. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and will never return to this restaurant again! I would rather eat in McDonald than eat here again! Service could have been a lot worse, but never returning to this restaurant again, even if it's a free meal.I could not believe they even tried to charge service charge. We refused to pay service charge as there was no service at all!

Visited on Saturday afternoon 14th December. We had a voucher from Groupon. On walking in the unusual décor seemed a little disorientating as it was very dark but once we settled in, it was very pleasant, contemporary and modern. We arrived early in the afternoon as they were fully booked until 2130hrs. The waitress was very attentive and there was no communication problems at all. My lamb biryani was delicious (£2.50 surcharge), my wife's salmon fillet was nothing special, served with oven chips and rocket and certainly did not justify a surcharge in my opinion. Drinks consisted of mojito and a glass of wine, no complaints there. Overall, with the voucher, excellent value for money and we would certainly return. We would have been a little disappointed if we had paid full price.

I,too had a voucher for this place. As we happen to be in London I thought it was a good deal.I read the reviews and being a pretty positive person,I decided that maybe people were expecting too much for essentially a cheap meal with alcohol. We arrived and I have to say that the decor and atmosphere didn't put me off - I quite liked the darkness - the music gave the place some life. Then it was all downhill steadily from then on....my husband had to keep asking for the drinks, the dirty menu's came, the starter arrived (very cold) the dinner arrived (not cooked through) with frozen oven chips and we eventually managed to get our cheap vinegar...sorry wine,,,at the end with our ice cream (cant go far wrong there!).I have to say it was truly the worse "meal" I've ever eaten - and as I say - I'm a pretty positive person! I wouldn't have stayed and certainly not paid had it not been on a prepaid voucher.I wished I'd paid extra money and gone to a proper restaurant and had a nice meal. Its made VERY wary of buying on a voucher system again.

Went here on a voucher just over a week ago, pleasant staff but we did find a communication problem with a waitress, my partner asked if she could repeat what we had ordered and was astounded to find she had written down items that weren't even on the menu. We ordered wine which was brought to us by a waiter when we checked the bottle it was not what we requested in fact it wasn't even on the wine list! The place was very dark and people were finding it hard to read the menu some even using torches on their phone so they could see. The food was very basic, I had chicken goujons for a starter which were over done and salmon for my main, the salmon did not taste fresh and the chips were from a frozen bag. My partner chose the lamb biryani and the meat tasted processed and was dry. Not a great experience and would not return.

Like others we had a voucher. I gave 4 dates when emailing to book and was very surprised to find all dates available! That should have told me that the food was basic and not a popular eating venue! There was another couple in the restaurant when we arrived and that was it. They had nearly finished so it left us as lone eaters. Staff and service were great, not made to feel inferior because we had a voucher. The starters (chicken goujons & deep fried brie) were from a packet, possibly microwaved and were just edible. As soon as I saw them, I said this must be Bernard Matthews shop bought. Considering I cook everything from scratch and never buy processed food I was disappointed. Mains were (fish & chips and steak pie & mash) were better. The fish was very good, the pie good. Desserts (macaroons & cheesecake). So so for the macaroons but the cheesecake was awful, I left it. There was no service charge to pay which was surprising as we have paid at other venues but we left a tip on the table as we did have attentive service. All in all, you could buy the food in a supermarket for a lot less and do it at home. When eating out I want something different to my cooking besides having a break from it, usually better than I can do but this was much worse. As someone else has mentioned, if you don't have proper chefs to cook from scratch at least buy better quality food!!

I also had a voucher which made the price seem good value in a great knightsbridge location, however apart from being completely empty, the food was unfortunately very poor. The waitress was very pleasant and keen to please. The seating area was too dark and it was difficult to read the menu. I had a tempuri prawn starter, except that I could not taste the prawn or recognise the texture inside the batter just a 'mush', which was a little concerning. The lamb chops were a good portion size, however were over seasoned with what appeared (and later caused severe bloating) to be MSG type seasoning, instead of fresh simple ingredients: salt, pepper and herbs. The desert was a very basic quality icecream. They could easily buy a 2 pack hot chocolate fondant for £1.50 each and sell for £5.50, or buy an organic luxury ice cream instead. If restaurants do not have trained chefs and attempt to use pre-made frozen products, I do not understand why they cannot at least buy a higher quality, if they want to keep customers and not go bankrupt. It is a shame, as it has the potential of being a good restaurant and I hope the restaurant will take on board the reviews.

Actually, despite the overall experience of 2, I didn't really mind this place as I preferred it eating quietly rather than having to battle with the crowds noise whilst eating. Needless to say, we were the only costumers which didn't bother me as the service was really good. The waiter was genuinely kind and attentive. I would have been bored had I been working there but they actually provided good costumer care. I liked the lamb biryani and lamb chops but the salad garnish looked a bit tired. The starter of chicken goujons tho looked frozen was actually tasty. The macaroons for dessert was a bit dull so avoid that one. I feel bad cos I liked the service but the overall food needs improving.

we have been to these restaurant our times now and every time we have had a wonderful meal, service has been brilliant and would highly recommend a meal in this wonderful place. The staff are so friendly and even recognized us when we returned. Cocktails are great, a great choice of food and always hot when served. It is only small but has a wonderful ambiance.

Had a voucher which made the price reasonable, so thought it would be hard to be disappointed but was very wrong. The waiter didn't have a clue. They served my girlfriends meal 30mins before mine and when mine came they brought me a bowl of rice by itself??? when I ordered lamb chops?!?!Service from the staff is poor, this place is basically a rubbish pub disguised as a restaurant in a nice area. Without the voucher I would have walked out of this place, the only reason I stayed was because my girlfriend was taking me out. My local take away serves better quality for for a third of the price. Don't waste your time.

We visited Beauchamps for dinner. I had booked with a voucher. Thank Godness!! I orginally thought it was amazing deal as you are able to choose any 3 courses from the menu. The menu covered all round the world.... I went for the Deep Fried brie for starters followed by the salmon with chip (?!) and salad!! The salmon was dry, salty and extremely fishy! Ended up justing eating the chips and salad. This would have cost £17.50 without the voucher! I wouldnt recomend even with a voucher, I wouldnt go back even it was free! The atmosphere was stuffy and the staff were unfriendly.

My husband and I came here on an Internet deal; we were meeting another couple. It's was hour first visit and we'd have not walked in if we didn't have the vouchers. Clearly a pub once upon a time, now combined bar and restaurant, which is fine, if only the interior decoration could make up its mind what it's trying to achieve. The waitresses could not have been more attentive. We sat at a table near a television which was showing a music channel, but the music in the restaurant wasn't the same as what was on the telly so it was really quite distracting. The menu tries to cover the world: pub grub, curries, Caribbean. It was ok but nothing special, and we would have been hugely disappointed had we paid full price. I have to add one last thing - on visiting the toilets just before leaving there was a lady sat selling sweets in there, and apparently the equivalent was e case in the gents' - freaky, reminded me of toilets on the continent where you have to pay to use. In conclusion, I wouldn't exactly recommend, which is a shame for the waitresses as they really were very helpful.

We visited Beauchamps on Saturday evening 20/7/13 for dinner. We pre booked via a voucher = thank goodness. On arrival @ 8 pm but our table wasnt ready, so we sat in the bar and were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco which was a nice touch. Sat down c 8.30,and the service form the staff was excellent. Starters were good ( deep fried brie& spring rolls), Thex 2 fish main course was tasty but not large portions, and the dessetrs = one of us opted for the mixed macaroons = what a joke !! = only 3 x tiny macaroons appeared on a very large plate = really pleased that we were not paying full price ( £4.50 ish) for that !!. Overall a good meal, btu would be expensive if not for the voucher .

Very disappointed. Dark & dingy interior, glad there were roadside tables. Even though we went on a voucher deal value for money was poor. Food not good, wine was expensive and service bad. Will not be returning even if it was free of charge.

I have taken my wife here on several occasions and sat outside watching the Ferraris, Lambourghinis and Maclaren's go past. Not to mention the rich, beautifull ladies walking past. Enough, and back to the restaurant. It rained and it was cold (continuing a theme of whenever we go to london) so unfortunately we had to eat inside. Good Service. Surprisingly at lunch time we were the only table taken. Food is average.Groupon voucher meant very good value indeed.

Went here on a voucher deal which was incredibly cheap bearing in mind you can select anything from the a la carte menu. Had glass of prosecco and a house wine included in deal, waiter brought one prosecco for me and house wine for my friend to start with, which was odd, why would you not bring the same drinks to two people eating together. Chicken curry was swimming in oil, had to re-order something else, by the time that came I had nearly finished my main course. Strawberry and champagne basket dessert was tasteless with a frozen strawberry on top. Complained to Manager who didnt seem overly concerned with our comments. Would have expected higher quality of customer service and food bearing in mind location.

My Partner and I went to the Beauchamp's as part of an online deal, which was 3 courses and 2 glasses of wine for £30. We didn't expect much as the price was so good, but were pleasantly surprised. The house wine was lovely, and the service from the two waitresses was fantastic. They even told us when we went to order a 3rd glass of wine that it would cost us extra, as our pre-paid voucher only included 2 glasses. The food however was quite average. I chose tempura prawns to start, and they were quite chewy and tasteless. My partner had lamb kebabs, and for the main we both had the thai curry which tasted like the ready made meals you pick up in Salisbury's. That said, it wasn't horrible and for what we paid, it was good value for money. Compared to other vouchers I've bought online, I would definitely purchase the Beauchamp's deal again. The restaurant is also very well located, so it would make an ideal stop off before heading out to some of the nearby attractions.

Within walking distance of Harrods in Knightsbridge had an excellent meal. Food, service, ambiance all top class. Salmon was perfectly cooked. Could have done with less chips and few more seasonal greens.

Visited on a voucher offer, 2 course meal with glass of Prosecco and a cocktail. Unfortunately I made the mistake of reading the reviews after purchasing the voucher and they were obviously not very complementary. However we were very pleasantly surprised. The venue wasn't anything amazing but the staff were very nice and more importantly the food was very tasty - lovely steak. A great deal - well worth doing!

Were visiting London for the paralympics and had a trip around Harrods first. Had already booked at this place so arrived at 1.00pm. Whist still quiet it had a good atmosphere and a warm welcome.Food was good and reasonably priced. By the time we left at about 2.30 it was much busier with a good feel about it.Would recommend if in this part of London.

The burger made my partner sick and the salmon was bland at best, and to make up for the poor food quality the plate was swamped with fatty chips. Refused to let us sit outside as we weren't having a hookah, yet the free tables that were there when we came were still free when we departed from this poor excuse of a dining experience that I endured for the only time in my life, as I won't be returning. The staff were nice, well the ones who could speak English anyway were.

We took advantage of the Groupon voucher deal as well. As we were entertaining American family, we wanted something special in central London. After some time in Harrods, Beauchamps was the ideal location! We arrived early and was grateful the place wasn't full as the tables were very tight together at the back of the restaurant/pub. The food was tasty but not gourmet - I certainly wouldn't want to pay full price for it! The decor appeared to try to be chic - very dark but we were sat next to the TV so I found the place a bit odd as it wasn't really a restaurant, not exactly a pub. However, the Americans were impressed and had a good evening so a good night was had.

Like your other reviewer, we purchased a Groupon with a special deal and booked in advance. Unfortunately we went on the hottest day of the year, and the place was sweltering, the atmosphere not helped by the dark decor, with most of the light from the TV at the end of the restaurant area, which was switched on all the time, though few seemed to be watching it. We waited ages to be served, and the poor waitress (who struggled to speak English) was running around in circles while other members of staff seemed to be hanging around. There seemed little coordination; one waiter wandered round randomly allocating food to different tables incorrectly. The waitress apologised profusely, saying that many more people had turned up to eat than had booked, and they were clearly run off their feet. Our first course was perfectly cooked and delicious. However, we waited so long in the stuffy atmosphere for our main course, that some of us really didn't feel like it by the time it arrived, and we left soon afterwards without waiting for the dessert menu (MOST unusual for us, I might add). Maybe on a cooler night with fewer patrons we might have enjoyed it more. It certainly seems popular, with lots of people sitting at the outside tables in the pub part, usually a good sign.

We used a groupon and had an appetizer and entree for a most reasonable price. The food was delicious, nicely presented and our waitress was even helpful in finding us a cab.

After finding a cheeky little deal on groupon i decided to try out this bar/restaurant, from the the outset everything looked ideal, the location was just set off Knightsbridge and it was once famed for being adjacent to the first ever cricket match between England and Australia.I even had time to peruse the website looking at all the celebrities that had decided to venture out to the Beauchamps. when i arrived i realised that some clever advertising had been paid for as i was basically in a pub albeit a weird dark black walled one, it reminded me of a time when i was 15 and my best friend Hannah had decided to make her room original so she painted the room in a plum purple colour. it turned out to be the same bloody room just a horrible bloody colour. anyway i digress.after being asked which of the table i want to sit on by the waitress i decided on table 12 (this decision was made after first looking at table 10 situated precariously on the steps that the waiting staff would shape shift past with hot food) and was treated to a glass of sparkling wine. after being handed the menu i was asked what i wanted i sat slightly dumbfounded as i hadn't yet opened the menu. it was only after ordering did i realise that everybody employ worked on a telepathic instinct as i'm sure the starter were completed before i even decided on the wine. (red Melbec) to which the waitress then asked if i want to drink the red wine from the wine glass on the table or the water glass. i wouldn't normally be disgruntled by this except for when i said i will keep the wine glass she decided that i would indeed prefer the water glass. After being served promptly our starter and main within seconds of one another (again strange considering that we ordered steak) we were then promptly ignored for the duration of our wine bottle. and the dessert menu i was hoping to look at never came our way. at this point i decided i would go home and dig around my freezer draws than stay being ignored and i paid the bill and left.outcome: it is basically an over price pub, probably trying to recoup some of the money spent on the black textured wallpaper however the red wine was pretty nice. the service was clumsly and infrequent.

Service was poor food and coffee was cold by the time it got to the table. Paying premium prices for a not so premium experience.
