First time in Maidstone, couldn’t recommend this place enough. Wish I lived closer because I would be here every day.

Purchased some chips they tasted dry and old like they were fried the day before and refried just before I purchased them. Never again

Food is always fresh and hot, service is great!

The food is lovely and the staff are really nice people, always a good place to go get your fish and chips or kebab and chips, they do do more though, atmosphere is a 4 and it's not a sit in restaurant it's only a take away

Ordered from here online by mistake instead of our normal fish and chip shop. What a fantastic mistake. The food was very very good, really generous portions, fish was white and the batter light and crispy, could have eaten 2 of the kebabs

Bought a couple of 14” pizzas earlier, absolutely bang on and great value!

Small frozen fish portions with soggy chips and chewy, leathery batter. Very expensive at £21 for 2 small pieces of rock and one large portion of chips. What a con. Won't be bothering again

I am coeliac, so this fish bar is a local godsend for me. The food is fresh and very tasty. The portions are a good size, too. The staff seem happy and eager to help.

Unusually very poor cod and chips tonight....more hollow batter than fish and fish was grey and tough possibly the tail....very disappointing.

This is without a doubt the best fish shop within miles , we travel just too come here , recently priced up haddock else where and the price difference was surprising . Staff are happy, jolly and welcoming even when flat out . Owner and his wife run a great place

Im GF so it's great they provide a great selection of GF fish and chips ( please check as the web site for which days they provide GF). I couldn't previously have fish and chips due to the Gluten issue - Ive tried the Cod & Haddock which were lovely. chips are also great - Will be trying the plaice next time we order. no complaints from us - we also requested not to have the skin on the fish - all was no problem. 5* from us. Thank you for providing us the GF options :-)

Spent £35 on rubbish, sausages were pink, chicken was dry and didn't look great at all (see pics) chips dehydrated, spend your money else where .. the bin had most of the order!

Good chippie - but chips need to be more consistent - sometimes great but more often than not you get a whole load of the end bits that have no potato left in them!

Amazing experience! Me and my 4 friends went here they let us sit inside whilst it was raining, VERY polite staff and great service and of course nice food, portion sizes are 100% worth the money, definitely reccomend coming here next time!

Two pizzas 14in, one meat feast and one pepperoni extra pepperoni Only by the time we got to our daughters it they turned out to be both meat feast!! So check them when you collect them! Other than that they was nice

Went there at 9.20 after a wedding but thought ide prefer fresh so ordered a chicken shish with salad and chips and cod and chips, the cod and chicken was cooked fresh…chips were cold and stuck together salad was fresh 10/10 chicken chewy and pitta either gone off or cooked twice, forgot salt and vinegar also forgot my chilli sauce and burger sauce and was blatantly lied to down the phone.

Excellent fish and chips,ordered online and food was ready and still piping hot when we got home,the gluten-free batter option also meant that we could all enjoy fish and chips,instead of one of us having to just have chips.

Friendly polite helpful staff and delicious food....can't ask for anymore.

I get large cod and chips for me and the wife to share it is delicious the fish is huge

£10 for 3 pieces of chicken and chips+a sausage is ridiculous. All the food was so stale and dry I couldn’t eat half of it and had to chuck it in the bin. Then I was sick all night due to the food.

Would not recommend. Burger tasted like cardboard. Ive had better from mcdonalds. I would like to see the staff taste test the sausages and tell me they are nice. Worst ive had by far. Chips were ok.

Very impressed with their socially distanced processing. People who pre order wait outside. Staff member allows others to go inside to order, they leave and wait outside. Orders are collected by staff member who calls out name of recipient. Food as delicious as ever. Best kebab and chips in Maidstone as far as I'm concerned. No oiliness whatsoever.

Excellent fish bar. Good value for money and friendly staff. Service is excellent so to are the covid restrictions in place. Hygiene is excellent everywhere looks spotlessly clean. Would recommend any to visit you won't be disappointed.

We ordered food for the first time today from here and my step dad has to have gluten free which he thoroughly enjoyed and I have to say this is the best fish and chips and kebab we have had in a long time ,they are very large portions and money well spent. the food is fresh to and we will be back 😊

Went here as it had 4.5 stars. Won't go again to be honest. Dry chips. Soggy fish. Disappointing.

I am dairy intolerant so am very limited with take away choice, but the owner sorted me out with a lovely chicken shish.

Worst fish and chips I've had in ages. Soggy greasy batter and stale old chips. Sorry.

The food is very good and the staff are friendly, what more can I say.

First time we used this place as we don't live near by, we will definitely be going back. One of the best chip shops we've found in a while and amazing kebabs.

Never go anywhere else for a kebab, the chicken donner is the best thing ive ever eaten. Really wish they delivered but if they did i expect a lot of other places would close down. Friendly attentive staff who are always accommodating. 10/10

Good quality food, generous portions and value for money

Just had the worst kebab we have ever had. The meat was cold and dont know how it had been sitting in the pot but wasnt fresh.

You just have to try this place, the staff are attentive to detail, gluten free options available on certain days of the week. Very clean and well staffed to serve food asap, and not to mention very tasty.

Friendly Staff. Best Fish and Chips in Maidstone. Worth the 5 mile round trip, even though my local fish and chips is 300yds from my house. Can't fault the quality and service .

Been going to Shop for a long time and have never been disappointed. Excellent Fish, Tasty Sausages, Brilliant Kebabs all served with Wonderful Chips. The Staff are always very friendly and kind.
