Beardmore Pub & Restaurant in North Lanarkshire

Breakfast at this airport restaurant was such a poor experience. Coffee was served luke warm items listed on menu not available when ordered at the bar. Four fries (as nothing much else) and pancakes for a child………£75. Summary: poor food, poor service at a premium. For sure will not be back.

Breakfast was cold, late and inedible. Toast was just warm bread. Tables dirty and sticky. Avoid, go to Burger King instead. Staff are uninterested.

Nice to have a drink and bite to eat before setting off but the prices for both food and drink are an absolute joke. We were almost £60 for 4 drinks and 4 rolls and sausage. Basic food which was average at best and single measure drinks with mixer. Don’t waste your money.

My wife and I called in for a drink,very busy,had to queue for 10 mins at the bar to get served,typical airport prices £13 ish for 2 pints,not very comfortable,better bar’s available.

Flight was delayed so we decided to order a couple of snacks. Halloumi fries and croquettes. Whilst I appreciate airport prices are more expensive, £7.75 for SIX fries with a dip and £8.50 for THREE little croquettes. Food was awful, croquettes were very nearly burnt and the halloumi fries were luke warm. Avoid

Terrible- service off hand. £9 for one egg and a slice of toast. Coffee 10 mins later. And had to go looking for it. Noisy music at 7am. Lesson learned. The breakfast rolls looked better. Sure they don’t care.

Great food before my flight. Abbie the server was fantastic and very polite. She ensured the food came out quickly and even took a minute to chat before my flight. Thanks Abbie!

Slow as anything busy airport and 2 staff serving at the bar. It looks like they don’t want to be there. Waiting 30 minutes and still not near the front. For the prices they charge they should be able to employ more staff

Chose fish and chips thinking they couldn’t get that wrong. Sadly I was wrong, the chips and peas were cold and the fish was just a greasy mushy mess. If I hadn’t already paid for it at the point of ordering I wouldn’t be paying for it. I will be boarding my flight hungry.

We enjoyed nice breakfast rolls before our flight, fresh and piping hot. Coffees were also good and the lady serving the food was super friendly. Despite it being very early morning the staff were friendly and helpful.

100% RIPPED OFF £13.50 For a SINGLE BURGER! No chips or NOTHING a scabby burger on a plate! Said to the chap and and his reply was “I KNOW” Absolutely shocking and taking advantage of their location!

The place has an odd smell of raw meat. The crispy chicken burger at close to 14 pounds is just unacceptable quality. The chicken was the same nuggets that came in the starters chicken bites. No flavour. The Ceaser house salad at 15 pounds is an insult to the customer. An IRN bru can sold at close to 4 pounds. Staff behind the bar seemed unhappy and there was an air of discomfort in the restaurant. Just a completely bad experience and leaves a really unpleasant experience of opting to dine in the Glasgow airport

Rubbish asked for the avocado breakfast 4.39 am to be told they had none as they sell out fast Roll had been frozen. Awful!

Chicken burger consisted of three 2p sized chicken bits and about 30kg of avocado and salsa slop. Chicken on the club sanny looked like the sole of my favourite Nike’s. All for the reasonable price of £50. Shambles

At airport flight delayed so decided to have a meal while waiting. Both had fish & chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. The fish was delicious, beer battered, a good size fish too. Really enjoyed the meal, piping hot, washed down with drinks. Didn't have long to wait till served either. Will eat here again.

The customer facing staff were fine, but the food was poor. My omelette was ok, but my boy hated his pancakes and he isn't fussy and my wife could barely start her toast and bacon. God knows how you manage to mess that up, but they did. Horrible atmosphere from poor business choices so avoid and pick somewhere else in the airport.

Overly priced for reheated food but a sign of the times we live in. Food OK service OK cleaning a lot left to be desired as table not cleaned.

How can anywhere justify £7.25 for a roll with Lorna sausage A complete rip off!! All 3 bars in this airport ripping off people with vastly overpriced poor products! Shameful !!!

Food barely warm and poor quality. Pint of Guinness £7.25. Most I have ever paid for a pint of Guinness. Will not be back.

the food here was pretty honking. overpriced airport rubbish, dirty tables, surly staff, online ordering worked well but that's about it.

No need to serve food like prison canteens - i selected the Chilli Con Carne with basmati rice, soured cream & tortilla chips - my 8 yr old could of presented it better, it was all slopped in an enamel ashet with absolutely no chefs presentation (if thats what they are) - the only saving grace was it was reasonably priced & tasty, but so is tinned chilli & packet rice from the supermarket.Watch out for drinks - £3.00 for a can of Irn Bru ?? Ouch.

Stopped in to get a pre flight drink you can now order from your table and have the drinks delivered to you which was fab. Reasonably priced for an airport

We normally go to Frankie & Benny’s but opted to go here instead for quick breakfast before our early morning flight. Food was good washed down with a few drinks! The manager mentioned that there was a new chef so have to assume our visit was after some of the negative reviews. No complaints about the service and the drinks were reasonably priced for the airport, we’ll be back!

Just got a roll and bacon here it was the worst food I have ever had. I showed the waitress the congealed fat I had to take off it and she just said very sorry and took it away.No offer of refund or any replacement. At £5.75 for the roll it was a costly mistake. Will not be back.

Staff were very friendly and attended tables promptly. Mid range prices, Food service very quick but food was disgusting. Chips were like cardboard and burger tasted cheap frozen style. Shame because the restaurant is busy and looks the part.

Disgusted with service today. Ignored completely at the bar whilst one young girl walkedpast me three times without any acknowledgement from her.I waited ten minutes waiting to be served before I was forced to ask for service!!! This is not acceptable.I was then told by this young girl " I'll serve you in a minute" in a condescending tone .Simply not good enough .

Ate breakfast here yesterday before our flight home. The tables were littered with dirty plates and glasses at 8am. Two ladies serving at the bar were absolutely run off their feet as they were taking food orders, pouring drinks and making coffee. Waited almost 30 minutes to place my order. The manager was wondering around oblivious to the mess and the wait times. Food took forever to come out and was as you would expect at an airport, below average and over priced. Save time and money and avoid this place.

One star is too many. Waited at the bar in a q with 8 people in. Asked the bar why we were waiting for 20min and no one serving us, then they told us no one was serving that line. No one thaught to tell us! When we eventually joined another line and got served 4 of our glasses were covered in lipstick. The grumpy staff then huffed off to change the glasses ina huff. Utterly unprofessional!Sack all the staff

During my visit to Beardmores whilst awaiting my departure I decided to attend this location for a small breakfast meal. I was greeted by bar staff who had no sense of priority nor pleasantries of manners nor customer service. Twice I was ignored as being next in line to be served, instead the staff served the person closest to them and this being said the attention to pleasantries was void of professionalism. I waited patiently and upon eventually being greeted with the words "Ur Ye Been Served?" I replied not as yet thank you and I was greeted with "Aw Right Al be wae ye the Noo" Upon coming over to serve me a gentleman behind me just walked up to the bar and requested an order, the bar maid then turned and served him before me and made no apologies for her lack of customer care and retained from informing the green frontman involved that she was actually serving another customer. I turned and walked out, I went over to Frankie & Bennies and was greeted with the utmost courtesy and pleasantries. Whilst I cannot confirm if Beardmores is regularly unprofessional or indignant I do feel however that they need to review their customer care approach. One bad case of customer care is one too many. I wasn't looking for a hands on please be all over me attention seeking approach, I was simply looking for an element of manners and customer care, all of which I was sadly not given. My rating of Beardmores is 1 star simply because I cannot give a zero. Hopefully I will never encounter this place again.

Nice porridge £4 so not cheap typical airport fare. When it turned up it was piping hot and delicious. Tea was tea. Downside...... Staff were so slowly walking around and not a smile to be seen. Didn't want to interact just plod on.

Ordered eggs bacon and tomato waited 35 mins had to leave before it arrived as boarding was called.Staff walking around so slowly.one waitress moaned about customers to the waiter guy if they asked for anything or complained.I just sat and watched them when I was waiting. Seat at table 51 ripped disgusting they could at least put tape over it. Needs new management never again would I visit when I asked where my food was the waitress told me I has not ordered food luckily I had receipt .ended up coke cost me 12 pounds as I had to leave before food arrived.never again.

Pretty dreadful. Ordered chilli. Waited for ages. Getting close to boarding so had to go and ask where it was. Surprisingly it appeared immediately as it was 'next to come out'....freezing cold and dry. Didn't have time to complain. Small portion. The nachos were really odd with a very strange dust on them....not eating here again!

Reminiscent of a Wetherspoons but unfortunately not the prices. Guinness was slow pouring so had a Stella (when in Scotland😉😄) otherwise ok and will return !

First holiday stop, ordered a breakfast roll, asked by server if we had allergies, told them yes and if they had gluten free rolls, "no sorry we don't do them" What's the point in asking then!! Sour stella and the glasses were filthy! Take a wet wipe and don a biohazard suit as the whole place is pretty filthy...

Four of us had drinks on a very busy Tuesday afternoon. Long queues formed for drinks. Staff working the best they could but, needed more staff to serve as well as clear. Good atmosphere.

Staff serving are pleasant, polite and very helpful, coffee came very quickly. I ordered a lamb burger which was £13.00 + it took over 30 mins to arrive and what did arrive was a very small lamb pate with a small portion of skinny frys. This is not good value for money, even though you expect to pay a little extra for anything in an airport, understaffed and many of the items where unavailable on the menu.

It is 1.45 Saturday and 2 people on serving at bar. Queued back to the tables for people who know the restaurant. Very very slow service. Also asked for 2 meals neither of which they could do. Extremely disappointed using Wetherspoons from now on

there was 3 of us all male all had a different meals all good. it was early evening and the staff where good no waiting and pleasant. We found there was more room and space in this part of the airport and toilets close by.

We had a pretty early flight so we stopped in for a bite. Decent food; I recommend going big with the full Scottish breakfast. The coffee was not the best, as it tasted watered down.

Visited here at 05:15 on 6 September 2019. Place fairy busy as expected difficult to find seat suitable for wheelchair however got seat eventually. No children’s menu for breakfast which is shocking initially, Partner waited 10 minutes in a queue to be told it was a 40 minute wait for food! Spoke to a manager who didn’t seem least bit interested. If that is the case then you should have a billboard at the door advising customers or wait time to allow them to go elsewhere instead of wasting valuable time. Very disappointed in this as other venues offer a 15 minute service. I would like feedback on this as due to time wasted we struggled to order food and had to rush it to enable us to get to gate in time. Shocking for an airport establishment!

0645am. Looking for breakfast and a cup of coffee to start the day. Instead got blaring music, dirty sticky tables and staff who looked like they had just pulled a double 12 hour shift. God knows what the experience will be like when the mid morning weegies arrive on their stag and hen dos.

Came here not expecting it to be any good but actually it was bloody tasty The fish was very nice and crispy Yum yum yum

So came for a quick bite to eat before boarding and didn’t expect food to be up to much but edible. Ordered burgers and pints. First drink of the day may I add. Order came out. All burgers were wrong. Took three back and brought out again still wrong. For the price you pay I expect it to be what was asked for. When the guy with curly hair cleared our table he never even asked if everything was ok. So £13.50 it cost me for a pot of chips. RIP off and not happy. We come in here every holiday but think we will try Caledonia from now on.

Ordered breakfast of pancakes with bacon,just dont. Cold (I mean fridge temp), fatty and undercooked looking bacon served on a side of bland sweaty pancakes. Had to give up half way through, if you do end up there just stick to the over priced drinks

Travelling for work. Presented myself at bar to order breakfast roll and coffee. Manager and member of staff having a conversation not even looking at customers completely ignored me and didn’t even acknowledge I was there. Waited for a minute still no acknowledgement at all so left.

Previous meal here was very good for airport standards but this visit was different and worse. Previous pizza with haggis and jalapenos was large and over filled the plate, this time it was at least 2" smaller in diameter as it left at least 1" all round the plate and my wife's salad was limp and "very poor". OK there were more people around waiting on flights and restuarant was busier but the quality was much worse and we will now look for an other venue if required.

Had breakfast recently before a morning flight. Coffee and breakfast roll, prompt pleasant service. Good quality and portion, not overly priced.

Another great visit the only thing was you had no fish n chips left 😪 but the macaroni n cheese was to die for. X see you again in September xxx

our meal at beardsmore was a disgrace my wife and myself got what was supposed to be fish in batter but was more like batter with bit of fish inside and frozen chips which were hard and few vegetables this meal was £13 each for thus disaster we wre still hungry had to get sandwich deal in wh smith to fill us up will never go back here again a disgrace for £26

2100 hrs on Tuesday 4th June purchased 1pint and crisps then ten minutes later shutters come down and then asked to leave area as closing! When purchasing why not say closing! Would have gone to one of the other bars! I will never purchase from BEARDMORE Bar again. Not customer service!!!!!

In the departure lounge at Glasgow Airport. Friendly staff. Order from the bar and delivered to your table. We had the Full Scottish Breakfast - excellent! and the Breakfast Rolls - very good, but why not on a Scottish Roll? Large portions for a good price and a fresh pint before you get on the plane! Our go to spot when departing Scotland.

I would like to very much thank the manager / duty manager ( if he isn’t , he should !) for his positive contribution to Our ritual breakfast as we waited for our holiday flight.

Bar as usual busy. Food order was simple to do. Order at bar, inform if table number and they bring to you when ready. Drinks a bit pricy ... prior to trip was a great place to start chilling.

If you're looking for healthy option don't choose here! food is ok but overpriced. friendly service and decent seating though.

This is probably the best choice in the airport for food and drink. Plenty of seating and service is as quick as possible. Prices are as usual above average in an airport.

Very busy and a long wait to order as only 2 staff behind the bar. One doing hot drinks and one doing everything else. Quite a wait for the food and was definitely not worth waiting for. My hubbys eggs benedict were dire. The muffin hadn't been toasted, was just a cold, unloved muffin, and the poached eggs were hard boiled. Inedible. Waitress apologised and took it back, then when it was obvious someone cocked up, she came and offered another meal. Too late by this point, and we left. Would not return

Very busy, with quite long queues due all the morning holiday charters departing, which wasn’t really a problem as we had loads of time. Staff were fine; the food however was pretty poor :-( hard poached eggs, untoasted funny-tasting bun. The waitress took the food away and the kitchen offered to make another but I really didn’t fancy giving it a go.

Waiting on a flight I had food and drink here. I had a large red wine and a all day Scottish breakfast. It was so good! Quick service, tasty food and the staff were really nice and friendly.

located at the back of the main shop and restaurant area. views towards the planes. very nicely decorated, no loud music. big screens to keep an eye on your flight. opted for the haggis bites which tasted great. sauce was delicious as well. Staff young, friendly. service speedy. really liked it!

We are returning customers and although we missed the lovely smiley wonderful hairy chap, the change of staff still delivered the service as expected. It was swift and no queue but we did arrive relatively early. You can then imagine our dismay when around 7am when ordering two breakfasts , all they had was scrambled? I must admit scrambled is not my first choice of egg. So I had the Scottish breakfast minus the eggs and hubby went for scrambled eggs on toast. He was apprehensive as scrambled eggs in the past from other hotels and restaurants havent been great he thought it was well cooked and tasty. My breakfast was tasty but I still think £1.00 for the toast and butter is a bit steep.

Asked for a pint of the only draught lager available. Except it wasn't. The choice of beer is laughable, they should not be allowed to describe the place as a pub.

We ate here for a late breakfast which was about nine pounds each for the smaller breakfast . The food was lovely . Service good . Staff lovely . Cost of a small bottle Pepsi . Three pounds thirty . We though ok . But then you get the bill. There's a further twenty percent . Which we found bit much as the prices were expensive enough . .

Down to the serious part of the holiday having a wee drink before you go on the plane. Nice atmosphere nice friendly service. And a good pint of T..... What more can you ask for. Cheers

as we had time to kill before our flight..we stopped here for a drink..it was very busy .but we were served quite quickly ..we did not eat..but the breakfasts looked great

Stopped for breakfast 🍳 and received food within 10 minutes which I was impressed with. Reasonable price for a airport 😀tasted not bad at all.

I get that everything at the airport is overpriced, but £28+ for 2 really basic breakfasts and 2 drinks is just poor. At least try to give value for money and don’t overcook the eggs and cheap bacon

The food was nothing special, but perhaps somewhat better than some Airport food. The drinks are expensive, and the fresh vegetables consist of beans and snap peas, which are probably fresh, and loads of peas, which are almost certainly not! Perhaps one of the best bets at Glasgow Airport departures lounge?

Ordered a cider then asked for a pint of Tennants (no Tennants) what about a pint of Becks (no Becks) Budweiser (no bud)......young lad behind bar didnt have clue about the stock.....eventually had to settle for a pint of Guiness......won't be back will go to the more reliable Wetherspoons downstairs !!

Peroni on draught and spicy pizza on offer, both very enjoyable as were my other half's salad and wine. This was better than expected and above other café bistros in the area.

Staff are too lazy to move to serve you. Make you go to a certain till and state that you have to queue in front of that till,out of four. There's no sign to suggest this and they are rude about it. I travel through this airport a couple of times a month and will not be visiting this bar again.

Auch die Portionsgröße hat mich mehr als ausreichens gesättigt (und das, obwohl ich ein guter Esser bin...).. Insgesamt gibt es hier nichts zu meckern. Klar ist der Preis höher als außerhalb des Flughafens, aber dies als großen Kritikpunkt auszumachen, halte ich für schwierig...

Visited here for some breakfast. Always manage to get a table without any problems. Always found staff to be pleasant and service is good. Have visited here a few times when flying out of Glasgow Airport.

Visiting clydebank for family funeral. Couldnt fault hotel or staff. Helpful, spotless rooms, friendly an d so accommodating. Thank you for making ur visit thay little bit easier!! Will be using again

This pub and restaurant can be found in the back of the airport. It has a relaxed feel to it. Orders are taken at the bar and service is quick and portions are excellent for the price at an airport. The staff is friendly. A relaxed place at Glasgow airport to wait for your flight and not go hungry or thirsty.

Good place for a drink and meal before flying....reasonably priced as well would recommend this place

Where to start? Food presentation - photo speaks for itself. Flat lager. Long queue to be served. Half the lightbulbs need replacing. Desperately in need of redecoration. Only positive part was the food actually tasted good.

We ate as a family of three. Ordering three cooked breakfasts with hot drinks. The staff were pleasant and the service was good and not too long to wait for the food. A good start to our holiday.

I visited the bar and restaurant and only one third of the seats were open 2 thirds were closed off for no apparent reason, despite numerous customers asking if they could use the area which they said no to. Makes no sense whatsoever as all that was happening is that customers were walking out and the customers who were standing are being told they cannot order food!!. Learn how to run a busy chain!

Bar staff learning need to more positive and be supported by staff! Manager? Barking at them! Go round and help when busy!!!! Would help!

Waited 20 minutes for a hot chocolate and when finally getting served, the bar staff stated that they didn't know how to make one. She asked two other staff members who refused to help. They didn't appear to be anyone in charge or helping the new staff. Generally staff were very slow and rude. Environment is very hot and reeks. Unsuitable for families, full of lager louts topping up before their flights

Once again I find myself in this airport bar in between flights and little has changed. The staff are mostly uninterested in serving the customers, at several times I saw numerous customers at the bar trying to get served with five staff behind the bar, three talking amongst themselves, one eating and the remaining one serving as fast as he could. Music in bars is supposed to be an ambient background noise but here it was bordering on being concert like, I wasn’t seated near any speakers but I had to ask the staff to turn the volume down and they obliged. Prices are high, staff service almost non existent but who cares if our have a captive customer base.

The food tasted good and arrived promptly. The Beer was cold and tasted great. Cannot really ask for much more before you head on holiday with the family for a week of fry ups and local beer. Good stuff and would recommend.....

We have eaten here a few times over the years and usually find it good value for money, but it appears to have gone down hill recently. The food was poor, the waiting staff seemed hopelessly under trained and the whole place just seemed tatty, dirty and in desperate need of a renovation. With quite a few places now available to eat in the airport this place needs to pull its socks up.

Returned for breakfast having eaten there 2 months prior to this visit. No queue to order at the bar. Drinks were ready and waiting after the order had been placed. Service of breakfast to the table was fast and the food(Eggs Royale) was very good.

Unfortunately the grub was severely lacking. Immediately suspicious because the food came out very quickly..... Scottish brunch with tough dry lorne sausage and the bacon was fried beyond belief.

My wife and I have eaten here several times in the past, and we did so again recently, while we waited for our flight to Fuerteventura. It is always extremely busy, but if you have the time, I recommend it as a place to have a nice meal, or just a drink, and chill out before your flight.

on Tuesday 03 July 2018, I placed a food and drink order for myself and family, which included a Southern Fried Chicken Burger and Hawaiian Pizza.

Well boys we came back... great that you remembered us since it’s been September 2017 since we last visited . You even remembered what we had to eat and wow !! That’s impressive Normally we travel low season or late but this year July and busy busy busy but there was a queue but you all worked like trojans to get the people served .

When we went in..about 2pm..it was mobbed..long waiting at every till..all seat full..by the time we left..about 3.20pm..the place was nearly empty..and no one waiting at tills..did not eat..drinks were at prices you would expect at airport.

I had very good haggis and neaps in an uncrowded dining area. The staff were pleasant and I was able to while away a fair bit of time.

Very, very overpriced. The full breakfast was tiny with only one bit of bacon and one sausage. £3 for a glass of Pepsi. Quality is okay. There are better places in the airport.

I wondered why this place had plenty seating available when the other bar/ restaurants in the Airport were busy. Now I know why. Lots of staff standing or walking about talking behind the bar while only 3 people serving and clearly a “couldn’t care less attitude”. Slow service and we were served our drinks in filthy glasses. Salad garnish with our food was dry and wilting. I will certainly avoid in future.

This pub is in Glasgow airport therefore has customers who have no other choice. The of a large wine at £7.50p is disgusting and very over priced. The menu is simple no vegan meals on the menu so if hungry you would be stuck with chips and a green salad. Staff were very busy and failed to clear the tables at a regular interval.

Nice position looking out at Planes. Food was good waitress friendly. Behind bar guys swearing. Not very professional…

Have eaten in this pub on several occasions prior to going on holiday. Shocked at the prices this time. £6.80 for a 250ml glass of wine. Shocking. £12 for fish and chips. Blatent profiteering. £15 for 2 toasties which were disgusting. Shocking. Bar staff said rise in cost of wine was due to minimum pricing. Rubbish. Wont eat in there again. Tesco sandwiches next time.

Just here having my fish and chips there are great. Now I am going to have a beer or to before I get my plane to Turkey. The staff are OK and chatty. Good selection of beers and spirits a little deer but we are in the airport.
