good place for protest groups to meet. Seats can be arranged in a circle just inside the entrance. Very convenient central location

I always enjoy my visits to Bean, its a very family friendly place. The workshops are always fun for both adults and children. Very friendly atmosphere and staff are always welcoming.

Everytime I visit this coffee shop i have had an amazing experience...you never know who you will end up talking to and possibly becoming friends with I started coming here as somewhere to chill out and be myself and im still going there now as it is a chilled out environment and very friendly people

What a pile of socialist crsp rammed down my families throat there is seriously something wrong with this establishment...weird

I wish there were more places like this that put people before profits. Its a great community hub aimed at making this small part of the world a better place and you can't argue with that! Oh, and the service and coffee were fantastic.

If you want dancing hippies & the new so called revolutionaries of 2019 then go for it. If you want a cafe to pop into when hungry forget it!

Prices are reasonable with a nice small range of brownies and flapjacks. Plenty of drink choices to accamodate different dietry requirements. There are retri arcade games to play and there's adeqauate seats/spaces. Oh and the staff are very friendly. I would reccomend supporting Hull's ever decreasing high street and visit this place.

Run by people who have a passion for social justice, so none of your corporate tax dodging, environment destroying antics. Knitted tightly into the artistic community, so internally it shows no resemblance whatsoever to corporate decoration. Regularly has things going on outside in Whitefriargate too.

Can see myself becoming a regular here I absolutely love how colourful the place is with all the artwork on the walls and floors and I especially love the hopscotch on the floor. I think next time I'll try the retro games section!

A great coffee served by a committed and dedicated team for a good cause. It's a relaxed space with colourful art work, a busy programme of events and, best of all, their pay-it-forward scheme helps the homeless.
