Bean" N" Gone in Woking

Been getting coffee here on the way to work for a long time. Great value and good quality coffee. Sam always knows my order before I even ask.

Ruddy rude woman sat in there! We walked in to get a coffee as our train was running 17 minutes late. Whilst waiting for my Mum to join us we were looking at the books, and the woman behind the counter said “waiting room is next door”, and obviously wasn’t going to serve us! We had only been in there a matter of seconds!! We decided not to buy coffee and breakfast from her and went to Waterloo instead!

I go in to the cafe everyday and have never had an issue with Sam’s coffee and pre packed bars all in date, she keeps me going everyday! I recommend this cafe to anyone, I have read the report and it’s completely nonsense, it seems if your face doesn’t fit they will go against you! Sam’s been here for a long time and has never received one complaint.

Cute little shop by the tracks. Really good coffee, and an amazing snacks. Can really recommend the flapjack. The staff has always been super friendly and I really enjoy a coffee on the train so I love the little cafe with the drinks and snacks.

How dare Woking council give this a one star rating - Sam serves beautiful coffee and pre- packed IN DATE cereal bars etc - any issues with paint and occasional decades old leaks are not her issue and do NOT affect the quality and hygiene of what she sells!! She cleans her area daily and I have NEVER had a cause for concern. In fact Sam provides a welcome friendly face to a station devoid of atmosphere and devoid of someone in the ticket office on many occasions!! South Western are so poor in their customer experience “efforts” that Sam and “Bean n gone” should be praised for her being the shining light and the only pleasant part of commenting from Brookwood - to be fair the new Welfare platform guy is superb too. Come on Woking, stop picking in the people who are working very hard and trying to make a positive difference to a commuter’s often miserable experience and focus on the bigger picture! Over expensive trains, over expensive parking, ticket office regularly abandoned, revenue officers (penalty fare enforcers) very prolific, poor train service, multiple potholes in roads leading to station, poor lighting in area and there I will stop. Sort out the bigger picture!!!! Sam - I think you run a superb, quality coffee shop which I have been using for years. You make my unpleasant daily journey somewhat bearable with your banter, smile, honesty and bloody good coffee! Well done you!!!!!
