This cafe is always friendly and was really pleased I could get a take away in the lockdown when they opened in June and are cheaper August 2023 Always able to get a vomfy chair and quiet Staff are always helpful and their dour dough toast is delicious

Had a Raspberry Blondie last week and am still thinking about it. The best desert/cake I have ever eaten. Gooey, gooey gooey delicious. I’m getting so fat because of this place.

Brunswick dock site: This is the nearest (3 min walk) for the Brunswick Travelodge. Coffee great but they also do do breakfast rolls. Bacon or sausage in a roll which are heated. Meant we had a proper breakfast before a day of walking. Also had lunch twice at a site in townas we prefer independent coffee places. Good sandwiches, notvsure how cost compares. No meal deals. But they do roast their own beans.

Superb cappuccino - best I’ve had in a long time, lots of outdoor seating making it great for cyclists too. Contrary to some of the (bizarre!) negative review from people below who all sound like disgruntled office workers who clearly don’t get enough of a lunch break I found the service friendly and excellent!

I have yet to visit the coffee shop which is situated amongst offices in Brunswick Business Park, to be greeted with friendly staff. There appears to be one woman who works there who never smiles, and is rude. I would rather travel to get coffee / food, or go Delifonseca across the way. The worker always appears stressed out - even when she is serving one customer. Very unprofessional.

Avoid visiting this provincial coffee shop. It tries to look hipster but it only offers packet sandwiches at silly prices. They offer jacket potatoes but the staff said that they throw them away at 2pm because they are soggy after cooking them at 11am! Gees my mind boggles as to how they cook them, perhaps in a microwave? Gross. We arrived ready to pay and then the staff said we are closing the cafe in 10 mins so we cannot offer you the £10 government incentive eat in !!! Even though we would be eating a small sandwich and leaving. Really unhelpful And obstructive. Very rude staff. Recommend a change and that this woman is fired. 1 star is generous. If I could I’d give negative.

Great coffee at this busy dockside cafe, nice choice of food, environmentally friendly, better (simple) breakfast than Malmaison next door!

OK, i work very close to this cafe, and the main issue is this place has a monopoly, since they are pretty much the only place to eat around here, however no amount of convenience will make me go to this place, i personally find the food bland and unoriginal. Not to mention it is really overpriced, i would personally rather go a little bit further either into Liverpool centre or go to Cargo restaurant which is much nice. As i said the food is not terrible by any means, just totally over priced and not very great in either or option or flavour. FYI i am not talking about the coffee or tea's as i do not drink them, i am only referring to the food. If you have no other option of where to eat as many people do around here, then go to this place.

Visited recently whilst staying at Brunswick Travelodge. Sited in an old mill, this cafe certainly has atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee is to die for.

Not sure what they are spreading on the toast now but it’s not butter, nor is it even margarine. Whatever it is it’s making the toast taste awful. Sort it out please Bean or it’s off to Spar for me and the rest of our office. Great choons while you wait though.

Visited the shop at princes dock. Open place, windows are floor to ceiling so good views outside. Nice concept about beans being ethically sourced. I had a hot chocolate which was a bit weak (too milky?) and it went cold fast. Was enjoyable though. Comfy seats and free WiFi too.

Visited whilst waiting for a friend working in the area. Ordered, paid and sat approx 2 metres from the counter. After 5 mins looked over to find my drink sitting on the "pick up" counter. As my friend was running late, I ordered a second drink, paid and sat down. Again, no shout that my drink was ready, just left sitting on the so called pick up counter, which coincidentally is approx 6 inches wide. No shout on either occasion or direction to the milk, sugar etc. Won't be returning. Shame really as the drink was half decent, although a bit tepid by the time I got it.

Have visited Bean a few times, mostly to the branch on the waterfront, but sometimes to the branch in St Paul's Square. Usually order the Chai Tea Latte so I know how it should be served and how I like it. Recently visited St Paul's Square. Virtually no staff on eventhough it was lunch time. Ordered take away drinks and were still standing waiting for them almost 15 minutes later with no sign of anyone making drinks at all. Finally a server did arrive and seemed to be making other drinks before ours so I politely queried only to receive a rather rude reply. When I tasted my drink it was barely lukewarm so I took it back in. While the server did make me a fresh one he stated, again very rudely, that there was nothing wrong with the drink and next time I should ask for it to be made extra hot. I replied that I had never had to before as it was always served just right and repeated the drink was barely lukewarm never mind hot. Just as I got outside he came running after me and threw a fully stamped loyalty card at me stating that if I was unhappy, next time I could get a free drink. If he thinks that makes up for waitung over 20 minutes of our lunchtime for a barely warm drink and rudeness then he is very much mistaken. In future, I will stick to outlets that know how to serve their customers properly and acknowledge when a custimer is unhappy with the quality of their order.

Tried Bean for the 1st time today. Ordered jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw. Potato was small and overbaked, the skin was inedible. Half the box was full of salad I didn't ask for or want. The leaves were browning and not fresh. Suspect the coleslaw was good and homemade but there wasn't enough to form an opinion - got about a teaspoon full. Now I'm sat in work still starving. Unimpressed and won't be back. This is a review of the Chapel Street one.

Viven muy cerca de otro "Bean" que es consistentemente bueno, así de paso y pensamos que sería probar. Un poco escondido, pero sin duda diseñado para la gente de negocios en la zona. Pequeño, pero cómodo y en una buena mañana cuando brilla el sol te puedes sentar fuera en grandes bancos y mesas. El come eran excelentes y no overprived - el café era excelente como su nombre lo dice están y el personal era excelente y bien informado, cuando les preguntamos por el café. Este chico se interesaban lo que venden. Vale la pena observar que realmente agradable, muy cerca de la estación de tren de Brunswick.

Went to the Tower Street shop got 2 pieces of toast that was absolutely cremated (Inedible). I should have checked it before I left. Cannot believe it was not thrown in the bin

Had a business meeting here so can't comment on the food. They have a small business room which would be very useful. However, my 5 star rating is for the way the took time to look for my lost purse and telephoning me to say it had been found. Thank you!

Passed through this place a few times for coffee and picked up lunch for the day at the same time. Coffee and iced coffees are very good.

He visitado este local, ya que estaba en un campo localmente y francamente, es una risa, un miembro (Pequeño de pelo oscuro'' Europeas'' (creo) de mujeres) de su equipo, que en realidad nos acercó con una boca llena de comida, y comenzó a "asienten con la cabeza "en algún tipo de esfuerzo para comunicarse!

This café is within a massive office complex so it’s a great place for lunchtime tea, coffee, butties, baked spuds, etc, during the working day, and it has the friendliest, smilliest staff anywhere. Prices are comparable with most cafes and the quality is good. Recommended.

Hemos estado en granos de café de compras en varias ocasiones y siempre me pareció limpio, ordenado y muy buena y el servicio amable.

He visitado hoy y tenía el especial 'carne china con arroz y si este era especial detestaría ver lo ordinario! En £4 cuando un bocadillo es sólo 3 libras me esperaba más! Mal definido y sistema de cola extras como patatas fritas y chocolate caro! No volveré

We always get our coffee from here whilst we are local. Can't comment on the food as we have never had it but the coffee is great!

Very inconsistent , visited for lunch had a fantastic soup and sandwich with exceptional service but yesterday treated some business colleagues for lunch to have quite the opposite experience Luke warm soup and an average sandwich with very little customer care not sure what will happen next !!!

Slow motion moment this morning waiting for my breakfast. the server removed her trainer - played with her blister - replaced the trainer and then served my breakfast. I sent it back and so she served the next person. The response to my complaint - I'm tired this morning. Yukkk

Visited Bean Cocktails in St Paul's Square Liverpool this morning for breakfast. I haven't tasted a coffee like it - superb!! The staff are very friendly and helpful and clearly take the time to get to know their customers. Fantastic all round!

Bought a Philadelphia bagel from here and noticed the Philadelphia was mouldy (unfortunately not early enough) and spent the rest of my day in work feeling sick and consequently obtaining food poisoning..

I stumbled across Bean on a visit to a customer in Liverpool. Best decision I made and found the café to be perfect, staff were lovely and the coffee (latte) was the best I'd had in ages. Great place.

Awful service, queue system? What the hell, I've seen more go in an urgent note, great surroundings, pity about the poor ignorant service by the staff who seem to think they are doing you a favour, try deli fonseca, great customer service, lovely food served with a smile, goes a long way, may be more expensive but well worth it

Hi As our offices are local people use this location to get there lunch, many times people complain when they eat the food in the kitchen here, the joint beef which was cooked on Monday was cremated not sure if my cat would of eat it , again people here complained and moaned about the quality and price of the food. The location is prime and probably the reason people keep going as there is no where as close to eat.I did complain to there website expressed issues when buying food (Chicken Curry and Rice) from there shop and heard nothing back!!! Poor quality over priced

Bean, Princes Dock! I have met with friends who work nearby for lunch, for the past month, once a week, what a joy, clean, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, food is really different, service is quick and staff pleasant! The location too is really an asset, as the weather has been gorgeous. Long may we continue to meet there!

A realllnice atmosphere, good choice of sandwiches, pastas Etc . A good lunch shop for a quick stop.

popped in here for a quick coffee as its right by my friends flat in city quay.Its such a pleasure as the staff really seem to take pride in their work.Tea and coffees flowed as we caught up on our gossip.Was a bit busier than normal now the school holidays have arrived.Nice clean decor.

I pooped in for lunch with a friend. We both had ham salad baguettes and a latte coffee. Service is friendly and efficient, food fresh and tasty and the seating area upstairs is comfortable. I have visited a number of times previously and each time it has been a pleasant experience.

Whilst our daughter was at the passport office we popped into this venue for refreshments. The toasted teacakes, tea and coffee were all delicious and freshly prepared. The establishment was very clean and the staff very polite, efficient, smiling and helpful. Highly recommend!

not a fantastic number of choices but what we had we liked. Lots of veggie dishes less meat. Price very good

I've been to bean Brunswick quite a few times because it's local to my home, the lunch is good to eat in or takeaway but every time I go I get a different experience. For example two days ago I had a great takeaway salad and iced latte and service was great but this morning the barista got my order wrong and didn't apologise when I noticed she hadn't put an espresso shot in my coffee! So just a cup of milk and vanilla flavouring? When I tasted it it tasted awful I could tell she didn't know what she was doing so I got a Costa coffee on the way home! I'm never going again it's not worth the risk of bad coffee and bad service... Try the deli or costa coffee 5 minutes walk away, always great!

Lovely big portions of well cooked food, particularly the jacket spuds. Butties look lovely, large variety of good including twinkies and there are fun gifts to buy too like retro radios. Air conditioned, loads of light, fun staff, lovely view of the docks, cheap for Central Liverpool and far enough down the pier head there is less tourists and more business people from nearby offices. Stones throw from the eye.

I have just moved offices to Princes Dock and stumbled upon Bean. I'm a big coffee drinker and was so happy to find somewhere that made a great latte.

Having purchased hot drinks although they were nice the cups were not insulated and the drinks were extremely hot which resulted in spilling one and scalding my wife's hand!! This needs to be looked into

We were met by a surly girl who asked us what we wanted. I asked for an americano with milk. The take away cup was so hot I couldnt hold it for more than 30 seconds. Unfortunately this was spilt scalding my hand. The coffee was undrinkable for 20 minutes due to the heat! Would suggest they need to temp check their hot water dispenser

Coffee is quite nice however the staff are extremely rude. One girl in particular I've seen a few times is just plain unpleasant to customers. Plus it also takes them about ten minutes to make a piece of toast!

I recently started working in Princes Dock so this is the most convenient place to go to. In future I shall be walking 5 minutes further to a different place. The girls serving the food are snotty towards other women. When I asked for a large jacket potato, she purposefully gave me the smallest one. This is after having asked the man in front of me if he wanted to choose his potato. Its unfair treatment like this can really ruin your lunch and I will certainly not be returning. While it may seem like good value for money with slightly less than average prices, I would rather pay 20p more to be treated like a human being. Never again.
