Not been in for years what beautiful i have just add breakfast best around sherburn by far

Food was very tasty,staff were very cheerful

Been here three times in the past four weeks, had a few different hot sandwiches with a cup of tea and every time they are cooked to perfection. The gaff is clean, welcoming and warm also.

We called in for a coffee on the way to the dog park and was pleased it wasn’t just the instant stuff out of a tin.

We didn't order food but the cafe was busy & the food being served looked great. Milkshakes are very nice as are the frappes. Reasonably priced menu & all the ladies working there were polite.

Cheap nasty pale looking sausages, ruined the whole breakfast for me.

nice food but staff are useless, people order for certain times but still stand in queue waiting, staff are totally unorganised, and the lady with short gray hair is arrogant

Call in nearly daily for lunch when I'm at work. The team are friendly and happy to cook anything that's not on the menu if that's what you fancy and it's in stock. Fantastic prices, amazing staff, tasty food, what more could you ask for

A reasonably good option for lunch locally. Menu needs to be clearly displayed, along with pricing. Not immediately apparent what's on offer and what options are available for bread etc. Also surprisingly expensive for the food provided (but there aren't really any other options nearby, so it's a captive market)

I work at Legal and General in Sherburn, regularly pop by to the bean in for lunches, today they had a chicken bacon club sandwich as a special, if you ever see it advertised.... Get it ! Staff in there are always friendly, will help with anything, the place has a great atmosphere, servicing the local community of workers. We are all grateful, thanks Bean in!

Very rude woman that runs it, shouted at me for opening the fridge to get a drink. Was told to wait to have my drink collected from the fridge for me . . . Was made to feel as though I wasn’t trusted to get my own drink. Will never return

Rubbish. Burnt, solid fatty bacon and the most burnt tasting coffee I've ever had. Undrinkable. Lady behind counter coughing and sneezing too. Absolutely wouldn't return.

Excellent coffee. Great food. Reasonable prices. Use them regularly, our business is nearby. Cped well within covid restrictions.

went to go stobart spotting ,but first stopped off at the bean in for one of there delicious butties for the last time in 2019. i was greeted with a smile and frendly member of staff i ordered sausage bacon egg butty and a sausage butty and coffee & tea. and within 7mins my order arrived at my table, And once again was upto the bean in standard @spot on@ & delicious & hit the spot. this cafe is deff worth a nomination/award, and would recommend it to any driver whilst on long drives on the A1. keep up the good work BEAN IN serving tose delicious butties .

Always service with a smile lovely breakfast, great choice of hot and cold sandwiches and a selection of hot pastries. Specials great value for lunch Don't forget the coffee it's brill

I ordered a Large bacon sausage egg and tomato (BEST) sandwich, could of literally fed two, it was the size of my head... i ate it all and i have no regrets it was beautiful and i was starving. Wasnt too expensive for the amount of food you get, they offer breakfast in a box and other goods, sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, sweets, chocolates, tins of pop etc. Eat in eat out.

Large is actually large. Not like other places that claim to do large rolls and in fact do quite small ones. All in all a quality sandwich and fairly priced aswell!

I call in here a couple of times a month as I have meetings in the area. Food always top notch wether I choose hot or cold. They are not tight with the sandwich fillings or salad items, its always fresh and tastey. Had a hot pork with stuffing and apple sauce, delicious and the breadcake was stuffed full of pork. Staff are akways polite & freindly. Food is always served in good time. Highly recommended

Good cafe food lovely and does a nice up of tea

My first visit of 2019 for stobart spotting at stobart depot, i always make this my forst visit before going stobart spotting around the corner from the bean in. Popped in today 26/2 for my usual sausage bacon m/room butty and coffee,as per usual it hit the spot, and again the staff here are very friendly & welcoming. Deff worth visit b4 or after coming off A64/A1 .

Saw us drive up at 2.15pm and put the shutter down supposed to close at 2.30pm

once again I popped into the bean in café before I went to do some Stobart spotting at there transport depot, I ordered my usual sausage/bacon/mushroom butty and cup of coffee, once again it was cooked and served within 5mins good timing ladies wonderful service, esp to the lady that served me. Once again it hit the spot and was delicious, but the coffee was bit strong for me, with both sweetner and two teaspoons of sugar it tasted to strong to me.

3rd n last visit. Disappointed with food every time. Asked for stuff well done and it was only just warm and very expensive won’t be back.

this is not the first time have stopped at the bean in café before I go to the Stobart depot for Stobart spotting,around the corner from the café, I always ask for sausage, bacon, m/room butty and coffee,& its delicious, all the female staff are always friendly & polite, & the service is very quick , the other foods look just as nice as my butty, deff well worth the money & ideal as a hearty meal b4 you hit the A1,& price is worth it.

Popped in for breakfast as it seemed to look like the better cafe out of the 2 I found on the industrial estate but the grey haired lady who worked there was very rude and had a bad attitude towards me so I decided not to buy anything there. Not a good first impression so its a shame as it's somewhere I could have returned to on a regular basis.

i buy here every week the food is really nice, i have had sandwiches and salads and it is all good quality would Highley recommend

Decided to visit whilst on a break from work, I was advised of this alternative cafe by a colleague. As I visited for breakfast this is the meal I'm reviewing. £6 for a full breakfast ain't exactly cheap for a cafe. Toast was ladened with margarine, beans tasteless, sausage tasteless, hash brown tasteless and fried egg over cooked. I have to say that the young girl assistant needs some hygiene lessons from the owner. She was full of cold and wiped her nose several times with her hand, also coughed on two occasions and failed to cover her mouth. At no point did the girl wash her hands! The owner was actually teaching the girl how to clean various pieces of equipment but needs as a matter of urgency to extend this to staff personal hygiene. Poor value, hygiene standards and food quality. I will be returning to the other Sherburn industrial estate cafe in future, £4.10 for a full breakfast, nearly £2 cheaper than this place. Cannot recommend.

When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. The owner had obviously revamped the place when they took it on. It's very clean and the food is fresh. There is quite a varied menu from paninis to filled bagels and fresh sandwiches. Good filter coffee...

Just opened, great food reasonable price. What a pleasant surprise friendly staff and atmosphere, the coffee is real coffee and good quality, the menu is new but something for everyone.deffinately go again
