Beach Walk Grill in Brighton and Hove

The good: the location is nice, right on the beach, the waitress was very friendly and the service was very quick. Tha bad: The food.We got the cheese and ham omelette, it comes with a side of chips and salad. The omelette had a strange taste, there was some liquid coming out of it, the chips were super oily and the sad-looking salad seems quite old and withered. I left half of the food and went away. I am not one to waste food, but I didn’t want to make the same mistake I did in another Brighton restaurant two days earlier, and I wanted to avoid to get a stomachache again. I did well because my partner finished his food and lamented a stomachache for two hours afterwards. Avoid.

Encantador día cálido y soleado y ordenó el desayuno para comer al aire libre. Nuestra comida fue entregada en la mesa equivocada y no dijeron que estaba mal con el servidor, así que permaneció allí por un tiempo hasta que el servidor se dio cuenta de su error. Luego nos lo pasó a nosotros. La yema de huevo frito estaba rota y cocida sólida. Pedí un huevo fresco y cuando llegó se dejó caer sobre la mesa sin ningún comentario ni disculpa por no estar en lo cierto. ¡Me gusta mojar mi salchicha y tocino en la yema de huevo! La comida era lo suficientemente sabrosa pero en ese momento se habían decepcionado tan mal en el servicio. Vergüenza de verdad. Podría haber sido excelente con un poco de cuidado y atención.

Estaba yendo hacia el patio de recreo con mi hija de dos años cuando de repente nos sentimos muy hambrientos. El servicio fue bastante rápido, la comida es realmente buena selección si quieres café, helado, rosquilla, sándwich o patatas fritas. Mi hija ha tenido el menú infantil, hay 4 opciones, hamburguesas, salchichas, pescado o nuggets de pollo, acompañados de patatas fritas y bebida. Los mejores nuggets de pollo que hemos tenido en la ciudad. Tuve sandwich de tocino, el pan estaba muy fresco y el tocino perfecto. La cafetería está al lado del famoso bar con cantantes en vivo.

Caro por lo que es, pero también lo es todo Brighton. Me pregunto si eso se debe a las tasas del ayuntamiento. De todos modos, buena tarta de té tostado y té. 5 estrellas, si es un poco más barato, pero ¿no es acaso caro que Brighton se haya vuelto caro? Buen servicio cordial y amable. Movido desde aquí como la música vecina (pensó que ella era una cantante que no estaba segura si todos los demás lo hicieron) era demasiado ruido como para almorzar temprano. No hay muchas personas sentadas aquí y creo que fue porque el ruido provenía del bar de la vida nocturna al lado. Hubiera sido genial por la noche.

Visited by chance but worth it. Good value for money, varied menu and great service. Donuts and ice cream lovely.

Originally wanted baguettes but they didn't have any so went for toasted bacon and egg sandwich, which they charged us the same as the baguette! Bacon was fatty and not a great experience. There are other nicer and better value for money places on Brighton beach front.

Nice to pop out from the conference to sit on the beachfront and take in the world passing with background music 🎶 not intrusive, and coffee ☕ and donuts for £3. Wot more could you want?
