Terrible breakfast, one bite from the sausage and I was nearly sick. The customer service is unbelievable rude, if you are not people person don’t work in a cafe, all of them that work there are just miserable and it rubs off on their service Will not go back

This cafe wins the prize for rudest customer service in my whole lifetime. There is no excuse for rudeness I understand they might have had a bad day but no need to take it out on customers especially as my husband had just died, quite upsetting for them to be so unwelcoming. We will stick to Flagstones such a different experience

Little Gem of a Cafe right on the front between Clacton and Holland - at the turning circle for the 'Wally Trolley'... My wife and I called in there on our walk back from Clacton and took a cold drink and a snack for lunch. The staff are wondeful - a true team of busy ladies and gents who turn out fresh cooked hot food, lovely sandwiches and great tea and coffee - as well as beach toys and games for the kids. Their Ice creams are REALLY good. Places like this are a real gem and need our support

Beaches Cafe - Holland-on-Sea We have lived in Clacton for 15yrs and absolutely LOVE spending time down on the seafront, visiting every cafe/kiosk along the way whiling away the hours. We have never managed to make it too far past the East side of the pier due to my physical disability, but since I have my new wheels (scooter) we took the opportunity to ‘walk’ further than we’d ever done before, making it to this cafe for the first time for a very welcome cup of hot chocolate and a coffee, after finding the majority of the other cafés all closed. The view is amazing and the hot chocolate was the best I’ve had anywhere along the seafront. The owners told us they were opening a few days per week out of season. We look forward to visiting again.

Staff were not able to tell me what allergens were in their food, apparently they do not keep ingredient lists nor packaging that has ingredients on. None of this was communicated in a polite way, I was made to feel like I was putting them out by even asking. Maybe my expectations are high, but this is only one of two places in the last 2 years who didn't seem to have any allergy awareness.

The old man/cook needs to get out this industry where he has to be polite, he has zero.manners, but then again I’d be in a permanent stinking mood if I could only cook food as bad as what they serve.

Took my young child and nephew for lunch here after a walk along the beach The staff were so accommodating towards my toddler And nephew so friendly The food was freshly made Beautifully presented and very reasonable prices for a beach side cafe The cafe dog was such a highlight for my littleBoy she’s so lovelyFriendly and docile perfect for the place Can’t fault my visit Thank you

We came here with our 3 children for a potential beach side breakfast. Rude unwelcoming owners, outdated, run down and the whole place smelt of grease. We would not be coming back and we'd advise you do the same!

We ordered a bacon and egg roll. Which we took away to the beach to eat but found there was no egg?After going back to complian we were given our money back but there was no apology, nothing. Did not seem the friendliest of places. We don't use them any more.

Disgusted with this cafe, Very unfriendly staff, Horrible owners who pick on disabled customers and hate children, stay away from this cafe! not worth a star and will never return! much better cafe more further down.....

After a bracing walk we called in here fir a late breakfast!! Lovely fresh egg n bacon bap & great cup of tea. At a good price and friendly service. It was a cold February Sunday...& when I’m back in Clacton-on-Sea I’ll be back !!Good honest cafe serving good honest food ..

Typical seafront cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks, as well as selling beach gear. We only stopped for coffees which were fine, but the breakfasts smelt tempting. Tables inside and outside, lovely on a sunny day, inside there were quite a few dogs, ok if you like dogs.

Great value food. Baked potatoes with cheese, beans, side salad. All good. Nice mugs of tea for next to nothing. I love this sort of place. Long may it continue.

Popped in for tea and coffee. Had a please 45 minutes talking to others in the cafe. Dogs welcome great atmosphere. Really friendly and good value.

This café is located where the land train from Clacton Pier turns around so very convenient before taking the train or strolling back to the centre. We sat outside as although breezy it was quite warm and we had our small dog with us. A staff member brought out fresh water for him while we glanced at the menu - this was a pleasant surprise as many seem to think your dog would want to drink water that looks unfit for consumption! We decided on the fish 'n' chips. The fish was frozen but not being a chippy it was what we expected. Saying that it was both better and cheaper than two previous meals in local chippys! So recommended.

Fantástico bar y restaurante en la playa de East. La restauración, con un renovado bar hawaiano temáticas. En una joya! Sirve comida todo el día, hasta tarde, un montón de fuera como de asientos en el interior. Comida, bebidas y helados para comer en el restaurante o para llevar. Desayuno excelente!

Popped in here for a bite to eat after a walk along the beach. Was pleasantly surprised that we could bring our dog inside! Lovely food. Quick service. Lovely staff. Will definitely visit again.

He comido aquí en Clacton llegamos a 09,30 sábado bastante vacío; bien mesas eran porque todo el mundo estaba haciendo fila. 13 personas delante de mí en línea. El hijo a cargo muy lento y no nos ayudó con la gente haciendo cola con el jefe de pedir a los niños lo que querían. madre no es seguro. Hay por lo menos 5 personas en la cocina estará esperando para pedidos que no he visto tanta mala falta de control. Luego tienes que hacer cola para el café. Me estaba esperando 10 minutos para dos bebidas. Me encanta este lugar y ha hecho 73 comentarios en Tripadvisor. Su ya mala como un día lento en un National Trust cafe con señoras que sirven; y créeme que es malo. Ir y ser valiente comida maravillosa. Espero que los propietarios ver esto. CONSEGUIR una empuñadura.

Only been there once but liked it, clean and busy beach cafe. The breakfast was great ans the staff were helpful.
