Very welcoming, excellent food and service. Staff all very curious.

They told my grandad and auntie to move the bar tender called indi was very rude and she was only bothed about the two cocktails that she had made she was also lazy and couldn't be bothered to help and when I reported her she was very arrogant and defensive this complaint will ba taken to the area managers for the disability carer act 2010

Good food, large portions though have lite portions too. Friendly service and dogs are welcome

It's ok quality wise but the chef wouldn't change my coleslaw for beans so went without, why wouldn't these guys do it and yet everywere else weve been will?

Terrible experience. Arrived and tried order special from the board, but it wasn't on and board was wiped in front of me. After a long wait I had the oiliest, soggiest fish and chips I've had in a while and my wife's chicken and avo baguette arrived without the avo. Not enough staff. Easily worst meal of our trip. Avoid it.

WOW WOW WOW. I was impressed from the moment I walked through the door. The venue has had a huge very tasteful makeover and looks stunning. I was there for their Thursday curry night, which is served upstairs. There is a new, very efficient lift, so no problem for disabled access. The service was outstanding. At no times were we referred to as 'you guys'.....my personal worst!. We were offered a jug of water and our drinks orders were taken at the table. Three delicious curries were served buffet style in beautiful chafing dishes with rice, pappadums, naans and Bombay potatoes. There was also yoghurt and mango chutney. This delicious all you can eat Buffet is just £9. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

Nice environment and ambience. Great staff, so friendly and helpful. Food wasn't fantastic but I only had basic stuff so I don't know if it gets better. I look forward to returning as I really liked the place and it has such an unbeatable view.

Handy little cafe at the end of Saunton Sands. Good choice of snacks. Not too much space to sit outside, except on the massive beach, but not really an issue.

Staff were very nice, food was ok, but kids food was served 20 minutes after the rest of us had finished! This made the experience very difficult with two hungry children!

Came here with my partner and the food was not very good at all. I ordered the rib dish and it looked like it was weeks old pulled out the back of a freezer then smothered in BBQ sauce. Chips also looked microwaved and even the sweetcorn didn't taste fresh either. I was very disappointed. Also it's not very clear that you need to order at the bar nor is the two entrances very clear, signage would be beneficial. I don't like to put bad reviews as I know businesses can struggle with lots of competition around but I ordered two mains and one drink costing over £35 that I didn't even eat. Also I found the music way too loud but that may be just my preference. Cleanliness was also not great there either.

Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Good food & drinks, reasonably priced, only pizza for a GF selection (reason for the dropped star - harsh, but fair). Will definitely be back when next in the area 😊

Went there as it looked good from the outside. Good choice of food and great selection of drinks. All our food was nice and plenty of it. The place itself was clean and the staff were all very friendly. The young man and lady that served me (wish i'd asked their name) were extremely good and had a great attitude. Both smiling and singing and just looked like they were generally happy. I'd definitely recommend going there and the views great too.

There are better places with better service.

Food was reasonable and served quickly. Poor score is for lack of cleanliness - high chair coated in grease, baby change facilities and toilets very unclean. Baby changing facilities only available in the ladies toilets.

Ate here twice on my week stay in Westward ho. Really enjoyed the food which I thought was very reasonably priced and the bar staff were polite and friendly.

Fantastic place! Really made to feel so so welcome. Food out of this world! Best pizza I've eaten since 1991 when my favourite Snappy tomato pizza was in business. Lovely staff x

Reasonably priced for the location

Great location pub menu downstairs and restaurant upstairs you may need to book a table upstairs. Only downside for me was you could order fish and chips in the restaurant but not downstairs

Came for lunch as a family and staff were talking amongst themselves in a group. The menu had many miss prints and had items that weren’t actually eligible to be served. The coke was flat and the service was poor. Came a year before and was excellent however after coming back we will not be returning.

The one star is only for the food. Still sitting here after arriving at 7.30 after placing our orders an hour and half later we we informed they had only 1 rib eye left. Why it took that long I am unsure. Food was ok ish and finally started to be served at 9.40. This was a special birthday evening and was tainted completely by such slow shoddy service. We did want to walk out but felt sorry for our niece who had booked this. I did vent our annoyance to our waitress who said all she can do is say sorry. When food did arrive some orders were wrong to extent they took plate of food off my 6 year old Grandson who was half way thru chomping away to give it someone else. Shocking. Rebecca who served us was very pleasant and friendly.

Handmade Woodfired Pizza - such a shame they use the nastiest frozen toppings. The ham is the horrible shredded type you get on a kebab shop pizza. The meatballs are squishy things, and not convinced there's much meat in them! Up your game guys, you have a beautiful location - your food should match.

Terrible service. We went as a party of eight and there were only round tables, all separate and no way to sit as a group. The staff were chattering away to each other and didn't come to greet us or help us. We were in there five minutes then left and went to The Waterfront Inn (fantastic food and service!) instead. I don't get these other reviews, unless maybe we arrived when they had their summer 'I can't be bothered' staff working and we were unlucky with the terrible service we experienced. Either way, we'll not be going back and certain won't be recommending them!

The service was very poor. The bar staff seemed very inexperienced and did not check to see who was next in line to be served and continued to serve others first, which they actually got wrong serving a red wine instead of white and when they finished serving they decided to empty the dishwasher, after all of this and a good 15 minute wait we decided to leave and enjoy a pint at another establishment.

Quite disappointed with the quality of the food, and we could see that it was sat for around 10 minutes in the kitchen after it was cooked, before anyone brought it to our table. As such all but one of the dishes were cold. We will not be returning.

Excellent service even on such a busy day. All the food was great seems expensive but once it arrives and you tuck in well worth the price. Dogs allowed inside and out. Great meal thanks.

Ate in the Beach Bar Diner a couple of weeks ago. Food was very disappointing and waited ages for it to arrive. Apart from the view is doesn't really have much to offer.

Me and husband came in for lunch on Wednesday, it was a lovely day and I just wanted a quick bite to eat before going down to the beach but all the places looked like chip shops and takeaways but glad I saw the beach bar diner from the path or I would of been sat on a bench with fish+chips, not ideal!! Staff were friendly and it wasn’t that busy so they got our food to us very quick. Me and husband ordered burgers and chips, the chunky chips were so so but the burger was delicious, I had the “monkey” burger and my husband ordered the standard one. First of all the food was good! I’m shocked the burger was so juicy and fresh tasting, usually restaurants even nice ones burgers are abit dry but you can tell it’s cooked fresh not precooked rubbish, actually seasoned nicely aswel and not too expensive either! I think it was under £15 for two big burgers and 2 portions of chips eating in! 100 times better than mcdonalds and you don’t get that view there. The reason not five star is because the burgers are delicious but eating out of plastic is not so good, I think we should at least get a plate with a meal if we’re eating in not taking away, save plastic and paper for people taking away because not everyone wants to pick up a burger with fingers when coming into a restaurant and can hardly use a knife and fork in a tiny plastic basket? Over all a good experience, would defiantly come back next time the weather is good, but if we get baskets again I am asking for plates the moment I see them.. :)

So promising from the outside but very disappointed, first I come in from a hot sunny day in Westward Ho! and see a log burner? I could see the staff sweating and most customers sitting outside, not enough room there so I sit indoors and wait a long time for my food then told the order didn't get printed so all that time was wasted, sat in the 'Beach Bar Sauna' for another 30 minutes with a diet coke that tasted flat and straight from Tesco Value range... The one star is for the food which was nice although I would of liked a bigger plate! The staff were overwhelmed and rushed off they're feet so I felt rushed too, food orders getting messed up and the fire on a warm day is just plain crazy! Middle of winter would be lovely but on a hot spring day at the beach it is wrong wrong wrong! Feels like these things could be fixed quickly and for no cost, would only come back again if they were fixed...

Almost great place to eat but bring some earplugs! Food is reasonably priced and good quality. Staff friendly and helpful. Woodburner is fantastic and a real draw. Beer is awful, like some franchise from the seventies. Probably great on a mucky stag do. Get some decent ale on! Music was absolutely terrible, N-Dubz whilst eating with young kids... come on! All in all we were not unhappy we came in here, the prices were reasonable, the staff and the food was good. Make the decor more post beach than pre-stag do, sort the god awful music out, get some variety of drinks at the bar and you’ll be on to a real winner. 90% there.

Decent food but overpriced, nice log burner and service but it is a real shame about the music they play at breakfast. I'm sat here with no other customers at 9 in the morning listening to blooming love songs! 'Power ballads with your toast' cmon get a grip...

Seems to be quiet at times and very busy at other times. Staff very friendly and food great. Great 12" hotdogs, Multi-cook chips really nice. Sometimes there is live music and family events. Casual, friendly place with plain tables in bar area, and soft seating in side area with TV.

Spacious, clean. Good menu and excellent hot chocolate. Eat in or takeaway available

Manager is a bit funny and not in the nice way. You ask a simple question and get sarcastic reply. The young staff try really hard and always have a smile, real shame that the manager ruins it all....

Took ages to have the food ready and after waiting it was not worth. The place and location are very good, but disappointed by the wait and food

A great location, the first floor dining area affords excellent views over the bay. Service was good and the food was tasty and good value. The menu is simple and is standard "diner" fare with burgers being the speciality. We loved it.

We arrived at 8.30pm and staff had to check to see if we could order food even though it states you can order food up till 8 00pm. Food came to the table but had to wait for cutlery, most of the food was really good but some sides where cold and had to request a replacement from the waitress. No one did a table check back which I think is good customer care. Ordered 2 deserts one arrived semi frozen and had to chase the other.

reserved a table for 8 people. taken upstairs and left with menu''s but no verbal interaction. after about 20 minutes we asked about drinks and was told to order food and drinks downstairs. went to order and needed a pizza too and was told we needed to order that at another counter. nobody explained anything and when we got up to leave the owner said order it and I'll bring it all together. not one member of staff spoke at all and to be able to afford for 8 people to walk out must mean they don't need the money or don't care even though it was nearly empty. will never go there again and wouldn't recommend either. rank place and all need training on customer service because they didn't have any.

Reserved a 8 person table , we were placed upsetairs and left waiting for about 20 minutes only to be told we had to order downstairs. We we went down to order food including pizza to then be told we had to order the pizza seperatly outside. Obviously you want to order food together and not separate. As we walked out the owner ran to us and told us we could order together the food including the pizza by that time we where too annoyed to wait even longer that we originally did. He let an 8 table walk out so obviously didn't want the money
