BB's Coffee & Muffin in Bournemouth

Have been going to this cafe for years. Was taken over and renamed db's. Significant improvements. Cafe has good standard of cleanliness. Good range of food products and drinks. Space for mobility scooters and walkers etc. Very good hardworking staff who are polite even with rude customers. Will bring drinks to tables and take further orders without having to request. Located in centre of sovereign centre close to major retailers. Has sister cafe 'the garden cafe located at the bus station entrance which does a wide range of cooked meals which can be enjoyed in an outside private space Happy to give a 10?* rating

Vegan cheese, sausage rolls, and cake available plus dairy free milks! Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable seating.

While the food is overpriced, compared to boscanova, Poppins, and in cups. The staff, look really grumpy, no smiles, not interested in even saying hello. It looks like they don't like each other. With really funny polite engaging staff at in cups and Poppins, I can't think why anyone would want a coffee from here

Opté por una oferta de café y panecillos que tenía una buena relación calidad-precio, sabrosa y servida muy bien. Usé mi propia taza pero eso no calificaba para el descuento anunciado, ¡necesitabas usar sus propias tazas para la venta! Ninguna de las camareras se ofreció a llevarme la bandeja, así que luché por llevar mi pedido, mover mi andador y conseguir sillas / mesas redondas. Normalmente pediría ayuda, pero como era mi primera visita, quería ver qué hacía el personal para los clientes con menos capacidades. La magdalena era maravillosa, pero el café era un poco débil para un barista. Es un buen lugar de reunión y adecuado para socializar, aunque es ruidoso en las horas punta.

The muffins are good problem is they run out early and don't restock. I want Bb's to bring back the nice smarties muffin kids liked it. Bb's has room for improvement and I hope it does.

Food was OK, the service was poor. They forgot to give me milk so when I asked they just poured milk and put it in front of me without saying a word. Then later when my food was ready, they couldn't find us sat at the table and then blamed me and asked me where I had been in a very accusing manner. Finally when the food was served it was again just placed in front of me with the person speaking despite me saying thank you. I will not come here again!

After walking around shops we did not wish to go back out in the rain and stopped her for coffee and fresh baked muffin. Both were just perfect , excellent coffee and a very tasty muffin.

Popped in at 8.40 this morning. A great take away coffee but the service was AMAZING . Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

Visited a few times last few weeks and will continue to do so. Coffee is good and the people behind the counter are polite and friendly. Not tried the food but what's on offer looks very nice and I will sample soon:) If you want a break whilst in Boscombe this is a good place to take it.

It's a lovely spot to relax whilst shopping, you can have a hot snack to just a drink and a muffin which are so lovely and many to chose from as well. So enjoy I did.

I had a very bad coughing fit and happened to have a plastic glass in my bag. I asked a staff member if she could give me some water and she appeared willing to do this but it was snatched by another staff member who thrust container back in my hand. She said not allowed to give me water 'for health and safety reasons' and directed me to Costa.

Good site right in the middle of the sovereign centre. The Cappuccinos are always good and muffins are tasty, I usually grab a cappuccino here when I'm in Boscombe.

I was so happy to find that there were GF muffins available here. They are absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and service is efficient.

My daughter and I stopped for a coffee and milkshake yesterday, it was a quiet afternoon, not many shoppers, and the smell of coffee draws you in..

This coffee shop is open-plan in the middle of the Sovereign Shopping Centre and very convenient to stop for a coffee. We visited today and waited ages to be served as only one member of staff on duty at the time, dealing with a queue. Several of the tables had not been cleared and the place seemed to need a good clean. I asked for a serviette to wipe our sticky table and seats, which needed a good wipe-down. I also mentioned that several of the tables needed clearing, but apart from the lady serving she didn't seem to have any other staff to help and she was busy serving the queue at the counter. The lady serving was doing her best and was pleasant, but she had too much to do on her own. Management need a shake-up. There is a Costa nearby!

I paid for 2 hours parking to do some Christmas shopping at the sovereign centre... I wanted to return to my car within the first hour.

308th out of 500 on 4 reviews. Sadly I have to give a thumbs down to the cleanliness of the entire eating area on my third visit here. I only came back because my wife like to grab a drink and it's convenient. On all 3 occasions the dining areas have been a total shambles. This time I counted 13 tables with debris on them from the last visitors. The time before it was 10 and similar before that. Food is so plentiful on the floor that pigeons stroll around pecking it up, I'm not joking and god knows how they get in. There are cushions dotted around that have not been washed for months and trays littered on tables, seats and floors. It is a very small food prep and dish washing area but that can't be used as an excuse to leave the customers wallowing in a sea of other peoples leftovers and washing up as they try to enjoy the experience of coffee and cake. Owners get a dedicated member of staff just to clear and wash-up. There must be enough profit in beverages, bread and cakes to warrant it. On a more positive note the food and drink is ok and the staff are friendly and polite. What the owners must remember is that good food served by polite staff in clean and attractive surroundings is the MINIMUM standard that todays customers expect. There are plenty more coffee places within a short walk so see this review as constructive advice and not criticism and maybe take a visit yourself unannounced and see if you would be happy with the presentation of the seating experience.

I hadn't been to BB's for a while but on this visit they were giving away loyalty cards and after purchasing 5 coffees the 6th is free.

This coffee shop which is in the middle of the Sovereign Shopping Centre in Boscombe recently held an event to relaunch the shop following refurbishment and the mayor was in attendance, they also had someone offering face painting and live music provided by a saxophonist.
