As a vegetarian, I appreciate the variety of options at bb's. Their veggie wrap is packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. The staff are knowledgeable about dietary requirements and always happy to accommodate special requests. It's become my favorite lunch spot in town.

Awful cup of tea. They leave the milk in jugs for customers to help themselves. It is either going off or the jugs are not washed because the milk tastes rancid. It also gets very noisy. No chance of having a quiet conversation or meeting. No toilets at this establishment, but facilities are located on the floor below for all customers at The Mercury shopping centre.

Absolutely loved it here. The place was aesthetically pleasing and the drink was delicious. Not normally one for blueberry muffin but this place does it better than anywhere else. Hospitality was great too:)

Highly recommend the Cherry and coconut muffin! Coffee (with oat milk) was smooth and generous portion. Plenty of space and corners to sit. AND three choices of gluten free muffins. We had the blueberry muffin. Great texture!

I got a coffee did not serve it to me in a mug very rude walked away from whilst I was mid sentence and I wasn't even being rude they did not tell me they were closing when I bought the coffee both male staff refused to give it to me in a mug I might of under stood this if they told me they were closing I went to sit down 2 seconds later they said they were closing over priced any way for a bad coffee Nd bad service do not go here

Nice cafe in Romford, good selection of snacks and beverages..if you eat in they normally serve your sandwich or roll heated up with a side salad.and the cappuccino is always very tasty 😋 Another tasty double act today, raspberry and white chocolate butterfly 🦋 muffin and a mango &passionfruit bubble lemonade.great combo..

Fine enough, but £3 for a tea?? Nice to grab a bite here, then get a drink from surrounding shops.

Great coffee, nice fresh pastery

Popped in here for a bite to eat. Lots of selection not too badly priced. (Unless you are getting a muffin, they are quite expensive) Lots of seating at the time we visited (just before the lunch rush) I had a cajun chicken pannini which was lovely. Plenty of filling and came with a side of salad. Service was a tad slow on a hot drink as we were halfway finished before it came out which is why I knocked off a star. Would still go again 👍

I like this place it is rarely busy, service is quick and food was good. Place is clean and tidy.

I worked here for years, gave a lot to the company so I understand what goes on behind close doors don’t give this company any money! Poor hygiene, we wasn’t allowed to use the toilet, the dishwasher was broke never cleaned anything correctly, it’s so over priced for the quality, muffins “are freshly baked” but management used to sell muffins that haven’t been sold for days too customers for the same price! I could go on forever everything’s done on the cheep if you think this is a fabulous experience and it’s good for the money you’re delusional and this is coming from someone who worked there for years. And also nabel the “manager” treated us all terrible so please don’t give money to this company it’s all smiles to your face but behind the scenes it’s terrible!

staff were very rude!! did not tell us how much our item come to, just chucked the card machine towards us and expected us to pay. no simple basic manners what so ever, seemed like everything we wanted was a hardship and they couldn’t be asked to do anything

Whey for lunch with my mum had a bagette each which usually comes with salad they had initially run out but the manager made a special effort to make us some. The staff are really nice and friendly a nice relaxing atmosphere. Priced quite reasonably. Would recommend.

Have been going here for years pre and post lockdown. Clean tidy and good prompt service. Peaceful atmosphere comfortable chairs. Range of coffees and wide range of cakes sandwiches and hot food. Can get crowded but always a good sign of customer approval

Got ripped off. First time visit. Had cappuccino and a muffin. Cost £8.85 thought nothing of it at time as I know london is expensive. Got home checked receipt been charged for two muffins. The muffin wasn't nice anyway, really dry. Will not be back here costa and starbucks are much better.

2 teas and a toasted tea cake for £7.95 - what a joke ! Was presented with 2 cups of tea and a milk jug and stared at blankly when I enquired whether a tray was available. I also reminded the waitress that I was waiting for a teacake and then had to repeat this 4 separate occasions after waiting and then reminded that I hadn’t left with my 2 teas !. After the fourth time I’ve explained I was still waiting for tea cake and finally had a half cooked tea cake shoved in front of me with a tray this time. No manners or even a smile on the almost £8 spend. I found a seat in a very empty BB’s and can understand why ! Never again thank you, McDonald’s across the way is better and at least you get service with a smile.

Lovely variety of food, which tasted delicious. Lovely coffee. Friendly staff. Nice music playing giving a nice relaxed atmosphere. We chose three different muffins which we delicious. However my muffin which had cranberry in tasted a little bit under baked and doughy. The coffees we tasty as was the hot chocolate. We struggled to find a clean table so asked the staff to give our table a wipe when we made our order and a member of staff went straight over and wiped it. However when we seated ourselves we still found dried ketchup and dried coffee still on the table. Also where the table had been quick wiped we found crumbs on our seats.

I can only eat gluten free foods. When I entered this place I asked if they did gluten free, they had some muffins but a staff member immediately went over to asda and purchased some gluten free bread to make me a cheese toastie. Great service thank you so much.

Breakfast bacon bap was delicious. Soft bap and plenty of bacon. Always use the BBS loyalty card for hot drinks. You get one free after 7 stamps.

Visited this restaurant today for breakfast, the man serving was very rude and had a poor attitude, I also overheard him being rude to the female employee he was working with. I am supprised people use this place. The food was mediocre and the sandwich had barely any filling, you can expect that from a supermarket prepackaged sandwich but when you are paying nearly five pounds it is ridiculous. It must be a franchise as O can't see a company allowing staff to behave in this manner, 0 out of ten stars.

Popped in here for coffee. Love the coffee here. I usually give this coffee shop a five rating but to be honest, the older staff in here are rude. I was served by a Asian man, no please or thank you. A foreign lady made my coffee no thank you or politeness. A smile would be nice too. When it’s younger staff the are polite and friendly. So today you get a three rating

This was nice. Decent size coffee shop with muffins at a reasonable price. In a shopping centre but was well positioned so you didn't feel like a goldfish with shoppers staring through the window. As these types of coffee shops go it was very pleasant.

Nice place. One suggestion is to not start cleaning until all customers left as the smell of cleaning products in the bucket was off putting.

The coffee was a bit bitter for my liking and if you wanted milk you were required to pour yourself from a 2 Ltr bottle as you do at a market stall, but there you only pay £2.00 for two cups of coffee, not £5.05. There was only one type available, full fat, as there was no semi-skimmed milk.Overall it was poor value, and we shall stick to Mc D's in future.

I reguarly visit this place at least 5 times per month. A decent size cafe space for quick snacks and drinks. I usually buy a panini, a hot chocolate or tea, a cake. Helpful and friendly staff.

Went with Mum for lunch...nice and clean place. Staff friendly and welcoming and the food was great. The muffins are really good here. Would definitely recommend to try the Jaffa Cake Muffin...yummy :)

Great quality food, nice drink selection. Decorated well and in a way that supported the need for comfort and rest (we were Xmas shopping). Service staff were less impressive. Very efficient, but this efficiency sacrificed the ability to smile and engage. If your looking for efficient service, tasty food and comfort - then BBs is your place. Just don't expect a smile.

After visiting The Mercury Shopping Mall, we stopped off for lunch at BB's Coffee and Muffins. We ordered 2 Lattes, 1 Flat White, 3 Cheese Toasties and a Muffin each. The coffees were hot and full of flavour. The Cheese Toasties were also hot, and they were stuffed with melted cheese. They do a very good variety of Toasted Sandwiches. The Muffins are what they are famous for. There is a very good variety of Muffins to choose from, in their display, and they are always doing special types for different times of the year. They are always moist, full of flavour, very inventive and baked that day. BB's also have an excellent wifi. You get the password on your receipt, and once you have connected once, if you visit again, it automatically connects again. There is no signing in at any time. The WiFi is quite fast too. The service by the staff was friendly and efficient.

It's good for just hanging out with friends or just being alone or just a general catch up with loved ones.

This is great place for coffee, the coffee is excellent and the muffins are great.The staff Dani, Nabel, Kristina, Martin and Mike are friendly and they make sure you enjoy the experience of your visit.

Really great place,would recommend.The service from staff was great especially from the waitress Lydia. Would recommend the strawberry smoothie if you have a sweet tooth, really gives you a kick of sugar.

Took forever to get food and the order was wrong. Had two toddlers with us and the chair broke while I had little one on my lap and staff didn't help or even ask if we were OK!! Never go back there

Just visited for lunch with my family...not impressed. Food and drinks bought out in dribs n drabs managed to miss an item off order which then turned up after we had finished (also didnt get my change from additional order)Wether server 00110 was having a bad day but looked totally disinterested and didnt say please or thank you for anypart of the transaction.Not a pleasant experience.

Weekly my wife and I and few friends visit BB's Coffee shop, and we had a good time drinking coffee and eating muffins and having good and encouraging discussions. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home, they never interrupt, but politely attend toy you. The place always clean and tidy.

Although went on a weekday.. it was starting to get busy...My Daughter and I..ordered 2 muffins,a hot chocolate and a coffee. The muffins we ordered (didn't cone up),instead we got 2 completely different ones..and the coffee wasn't hot.
