We had waited “fast food” for an hour, during the period there was several times they delivered wrong food to us. took away the knife and folks while we were still waiting for food. Something like 5 people in kitchen but only one was working the others were chatting. Most disorganised!

Thanks for a great experience eating on a bus! We liked the food and it was excellent value. Would definitely go back next time we're in Margate. Please accept my sincere apologies once again for thinking I'd paid when I'd ordered when I hadn't!

Ate here for lunch with my wife, our grown-up son and daughter along with her teenage son and 6 year old daughter and there is something on the menu to appeal to everyone. We had a great time. Their burgers are amazing, their Breakfast Sandwich a legend and their Belgian Waffles luxurious and a work of art! Comfortable and interesting surroundings (the tables are all upstairs on an open-top bus) the quality of the reasonably priced food here is superb and the friendly, efficient and professional service excellent. As an extra bonus, this venue is also dog friendly. Not to be missed!

We love to come here for a burger, which we always eat on the top deck of their bus (even though it does lack ventilation on a hot day). Quality has always been good, and always equally tasty. I wish I could speak on behalf of their full menu but we have only had their burgers, and nowadays only the Elvis Burger (an enlightening experience). The proprietors are friendly and engaging. We have eaten here a number of times and will continue to return. Love this place.

We stopped for lunch on a Monday and found a few places closed, but this was open in the Old Kent Market. My wife had an Halloumi salad and I had a Stilton plough persons lunch. We also had 2 cans of drink. Both our meals where beyond expectations, really tasty. The bill was £18.50 which we thought was good value. Definitely be back to try a burger.

I cannot describe how delicious BB's Burgers are. After we finished all of us said we'd have seconds if our stomachs could have fitted more. I highly recommend the Elvis Burger, it has a cheeky surprise ingredient that everyone will love. Besides the amazing food (and the low-low prices) the atmosphere is love and quirky, you're dining on top of a routemaster bus that's inside an old cinema, what else do I need to say? Overall a 10/10 experience and a must visit place. (P.S. The tea was lovely aswell)

Super, owner-run café, bar, restaurant. We popped into the Kent Market just to browse and saw the Halloumi salad being served. It looked so good we ordered one to share, with a glass of Pinot Gris each, seated on the upper deck of a traditional London bus. The Halloumi salad was excellent and the service great; we'll definitely go back for something more substantial on our next visit to Margate.

Needed something to cheer me up in a generally dismal Margate (WHY does EVERYWHERE close on Mondays & Tuesdays............ IN AUGUST?!) and saw the bus in the Old Kent Market where we were going to buy some bread. Wow! So glad we stopped for a sit-worn. Superb Full English for me (with mug [not a cup] of tea), Halloumi Salad for the Good Lady 'Er Indoors Who Shall Be Obeyed, sausage sandwich and waffles for the boys. Waffles not cooked from scratch unfortunately but given the quality of everything we did have, thats a tiny little moan. Really good quality ingredients took about 20 or so minutes to put together from scratch (too quick and I do get a bit suspicious about how long creation items have been on the hot-plate - but not at B&Bs) and it was scrumptious! Even with fried eggs, there was almost no oil left on an otherwise empty plate and the entire family was fed until tea-time for a fraction of what some of the more trendy places in Margate offer. One to remember and to recommend - smashing! The only tiny moan would be about the tiny seats. You can only really get 2 (comfortably) or 3 (squished) adults around a table on the top deck - 4 is a non-starter. But its an old bus, for goodness sakes. Small price to pay. Just be aware.

Great breakfasts all day and a great value full English for 6.50 including tea coffee or half a beer. Plenty of seating on the top deck, totally dog friendly, ours was given a sausage as a treat, very welcoming. The foodie with us praised the quality of the sausages too, not the dog sausage obviously, she didn't try that one. A great cafe in Margate central

Bought a cheese burger, thought it was cheap at £4.50 but could see why, looked nice, but from the first bite I got a mouth full of grease, not just a bit but loads, and then squeesed the burger and the bun was saturated in grease, instantly felt sick, was impossible to take another bite, really disappointed..

Our family visited the Old Kent Market. What a quirky venue! The children loved the open top bus inside and were able to have a go at 'driving' it. Drinks. Licenced, good start. The food, we ordered a variety of things on the menu, full English, cheeseburger, salmon salad, ploughman's, sandwiches and cake, of course! All served with a smile. We had tea, fresh brewed coffee and beers as well as cold drinks. Terrific value for money compared to other places we visited in Margate. A full English with bread/toast and a drink for just £6.50! Fabulous homemade cake at £2.50 a slice. We will most definitely be returning.

After a disappointing porridge pot (the type you just add hot water to) at our airbnb we were super hungry and stumbled across this place. The prices were syper reasonable and the novelty of eating on the top deck of a double decker meant that we were sold! We opted for the breakfast sandwich whcih was huge and pretty cheap (£5 i think). The quality of ingredients was superb and the flavours were top notch. The only let down was the cup of tea which tasted a bit fishy! Would highly recommend eating here and would love to try other dishes on the menu next time we are in Margate!

Service is always delivered with a smile at this quirky establishment, come here often but recently I just came here for a breakfast and was delighted with what they had to offer considering I’m a vegetarian and finding a good place that caters for vegetarians is hard to find when you want a nice good old British fry up. The veggie breakfast was lovely especially the sausages. Eating on the top deck of the bus made it more of a unique experience as well. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, Cheap prices too!

Booked a table for Sunday lunch (7th July) We arrived 10 mins before our booking only to find it was closed? There were also a number of people arriving who had booked a table and others arriving as hoc. There were 2 people inside in the kitchen area, who at first totalling ignored us and then when we knocked on the door and got the lady’s attention, only to have her shake her head at us? She didn’t answer the door. There was no sign on the doors to explain why it was closed and they didn’t answer numerous phone calls!! Terrible way to operate a restaurant. They’ve lost our custom but we gained a lovely place around the corner, Lavan, where we will visit in the future. Get your act together Coal Rooms. What are you running - shambles!!

On our way for a short stay in Ramsgate, we were pleasantly surprised when we stopped here for lunch. It was a Monday lunchtime and the pub was quite busy. Friendly and prompt service at the bar. Monday is pie day so for £12 I had a choice of pie with fresh vegetables and chips. Pudding was included. Chicken and ham pie was delicious. Cheesecake offered with cream or ice-cream. Really generous portions of everything. The beer was very good too.
