We love to stop by here for a drink & watch the world go by, people watching when we have walked round the Orme.

This hotel worst we have stayed in ! Rooms are awful couldn't hardly get out of bathroom cos beds so close ! Went down for evening meal little late ! They said u can't have meal ur late so we went hungry !!! 3 of us disgusting customer care nil ! Ur supposed to be in holiday ! Don't use this hotel terrible !

Worst food we have ever had, the pork loin seemed like it was boiled not roasted the sauce it was in didn’t taste of anything the mash was like wallpaper paste horrible watery gritty texture, steak & mushroom ie was just well mushroom

Came here wanting a nice meal out whilst in Llandudno as we didn’t want to settle for a takeaway on my partners birthday, the menu had plenty of options and the food was wonderful. The service was great would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely evening here in May. Food was excellent, the beer and drinks were very good and the prices only slightly higher than you would find in a pub; the fayre is similar. Well worth a visit but advise booking.

We have just spent 3 nights in Llandudno we dinned & wined for two of these nights at the Bay Tree grill for 2 nights. Both of our restaurant experiences were great. On the first night the menu had only 3 main course meals for gluten free menu. On our second visit I wanted something different gluten free we asked our lady waitress if there was anything else I could have she saw chef & suddenly about 8 dishes could be served. COME ON MANAGEMENT RE DO THE MENU SHOWING THE DISHES YOU CAN OFFER EVEN ADAPTED. The staff can do better than you & appeal to more gluten free customers.

Visited this restaurant as we were unable to secure a table at Carlos. What luck. A good choice of dishes on the menu, which suit everyone. Decided against starters, which was a good move as the mains were very sizeable. Two of the party opted for the lamb shank, which was amongst the best both have ever tasted. Another of the party had the salmon, broccoli pasta. Again one of the best pasta dishes she'd ever had. |It was truly delicious. Junior member has southern fried chicken. Chicken was soft and juicy whilst coating was crispy. Drinks were a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the food made this a minor issue. Will definitely be back.

Not the best meal, we went at 7:20pm (kitchen open till 8pm) and there were only the two of us dining. We both ordered pate on toast but it only came with 2 small pieces of toast, so had to order an extra bread basket on the side (which was still only 4 small pieces of bread for £3, not good value for money at all). Pate itself was nice, but the salad was limp and tasted old. Mains, I ordered a gammon steak which was so over cooked and underwhelming. I couldn’t eat it all cause it was so dry and tough. My partner ordered lamb shank which he said was amazing! Just overall not a great experience, the waitress didn’t do a check back after our mains had been served, otherwise I would have asked for something different, and they didn’t walk by as we were eating. I said at the end when she asked how it was that the gammon was really dry and overcooked but all I got in reply was ‘I’m really sorry I’ll pass that back on to the chef’ which is great but if a check back had been done, it could have been avoided! I never leave bad reviews, cause I know what working in hospitality is like as I’ve done it for 8 years, but it was just a poor experience and I’m only writing this to provide some constructive criticism to the restaurant. Please make sure your waiting staff do check backs for every course and maybe offer a bit more bread with the pate if you are serving such a large amount of pate compared to bread ratio! Thank you anyway. The place seemed nice enough and would love to come back if things change.

Didn't stay in the hotel but we ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent, lots of options on the menu and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely decor and a great atmosphere, would visit again.

The Bay Tree was a different choice for us rather than a pub restaurant but didn't disappoint. Servings were substantial and service friendly The only negative which they turned into a positive is that our dessert order appeared to get mislaid in the kitchen. Conscious that we were one of the last sittings and with no desserts materialising after some time I enquired as o there whereabouts. This prompted a curry to the kitchen and they arrived soon after. When settling the bill with no more prompting from myself we were asked had we waited long for the desserts which I said that they took linger than the main and before we knew it they were knocked off the bill

Nice spacious restaurant. Food delicious. A few of us had the pasta. I would recommend it. The southern fried Chicken was also good. Large portions. All the desserts were delicious also. Good service. Would eat here again.

Just had a delightful evening at the Bay Tree Griil. Extensive menu, super food arrived promptly. Very pleasant dining room. Staff very cheerful and friendly (Cait is a national treasure). Just to round it all off, the loos are immaculate and fresh. We will be back - must work all the way through the menu!

Visited twice whilst on holiday - between us ( group of 5) sampled chicken Caesar salad - very nice with warm chicken and plenty of salad to fill you up, gammon with eggs lovely and not over facing, pork loin, curry, penne pasta all do not disappoint. Situated on the ground floor of the Bay Tree Hotel ( and is open to the public though booking recommended as it gets busy) - nice decor inside and friendly staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We tried to get a table on the Thursday night (5pm approx) but there was no availabilty so we booked for the Friday. Our waiter was welcoming & friendly as they all were. Service & food was excellent and it felt a pleasant restaurant to have a meal in. Three starters, three mains and 3 deserts plus 5 drinks (3 alcoholic) came to just over £100. My husband particularly liked their own special Bay Tree Bitter which was on draught. A negative, which I would not mark them down for....... Our waiter had not been given the opportunity to try any of the desserts so could not offer an opinion as to what his favourite was.

Having been tipped off by another couple we reserved a table for evening meal. The food was absolutely delicious and couldn't be faulted. The staff in the restaurant and the bar afterwards were friendly and polite. Would highly recommend to anyone

We ate here on two occasions and would highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly, menu selection is extensive and the portion sizes are generous. We particularly enjoyed the steak pie and chicken curry. Great views to the promenade and sea too.

Found this hotel restaurant the best in the resort. Food was delicious and the menu extensive. The staff most accommodating. Only downside was they finished serving at 20.00 hrs. Very clean and surroundings immaculate. Could do with some evening entertainment to finish a wonderful evening.

Went for a quiet drink after a lovely day on the pier however mine and all of my parties drinks tasted like line cleaner. We all asked for another pint, got one and again tasted like line cleaner. Will not be returning in a hurry.

Visited for an evening meal having pre booked earlier in day. Would have liked to have eaten a bit later but 7.30pm is latest booking time they do. Given nice window table as requested and service throughout was efficient and friendly. Nice menu with lots...

We just dropped in for a lunch snack. Covid preparation is excellent, the service very friendly and efficient. Food was well presented and tasty. We would return, a bonus being the “Eat out to help out” scheme!

We were one of only 2 tables eating just before 8 pm one weekday. You order and pay at the bar. 3 of us had lamb shank and 1 had Fisherman's pie and 2 of us has desserts. All in all pretty good.

Food and plates all served very hot. Staff at bar friendly. Very clean Had window table so good views of the sea. Will try Sunday carvery if go again.

We popped in for a Sunday carvery, £9 each it was lovely lots of meat choices but sadly only 3 vegetables, it was tasty. Waitress was attentive and friendly.

Me impresionó enormemente encontrar a la lager Mahou de barril y también a seis o siete gins disponibles.El asador fue increíble por decir lo menos. A 9 por cabeza era el valor total para el dinero. Los pudines de Yorkshire eran oscuros y casi dorados, las tres carnes: cerdo, ternera y pavo fueron fantásticos y los asados ​​fueron cocinados a la perfección.El servicio del personal fue excelente y, para rematar, hay algunos asientos que dan directamente al mar y a la vida cotidiana de Llandudno con el muelle al otro lado de la carretera.Después de esta visita, los dos también decidimos que en el futuro este sería un alojamiento en el que nos gustaría quedarnos y también regresar para el almuerzo.

We visited this bar restaurant twice over the weekend and found it extremely good value for money regarding the wine menu also the food was good but be careful when ordering the ploughman's lunch it could be a little over facing don't know how they did it for the money well done the bay tree would highly recommend this place

only went here for evening meals, food was lovely and served quickly. The place was very clean and the staff lovely. It was only a stones throw from the pier and served a welcome change from the usual fish and chips

Called in for a lunch after viewing some others in the same area this seemed to be the best. It was bright and cheery round the bar area. We sat by the side of the open window and ordered a bottle of wine and two lunches. We had a jacket potato with loads of melted cheese on top, usually you just get a bit of grated cheese sprinkled on top . I also got plenty of butter packs , my partner had prawns with salad and crusty bread. they were really large portions but what I liked best was the proper containers of mayonnaise, salad cream etc, none of those silly little packets that you can't get into. The service was good and friendly too, well done we did enjoy it.

My family and I only went for lunch as it was one of the nearest restaurants to the cable cars.

I chose fish and chips, my wife chicken and spinach in white wine sauce. We waited a long time and were both a little disappointed. The fish batter was not crisp and my wifes potatoes still had eyes in. There appeared to be a shortage of staff.

Had a brilliant quality Sunday Roast Carvery on the Bank Holiday weekend with a good selection of piping hot, fresh vegetables, potatoes, Yorkshire puddings etc and very generous helpings of meat that was perfectly cooked. However, a suggestion would be to either offer a vegetarian option as replacement for the meat on the carvery OR offer a lower price for a meat free carvery as it should not be charged at the same price as a meat Carvery (£9).They did provide a large jug of veggie gravey on request which was great however veggie alternative would have been good. The plates were smaller than usual and they were difficult to cut food on. Also, the gravy is in completely the wrong place as you have to push through the queue when you have finished collecting your food. It is also very impractical to use when trying to hold a plate and resulted in one of us receiving quite a painful burn on her hand. Despite this the meal was very enjoyable and was great as we could bring our dog in to the bar. Staff were very friendly also.

£9 for a well cooked sunday roast, choich of beef pork or turkey and as much roast potatoes and veg as you can eat.

Booked in for a meal for 8 after work. Superb value, lovely location and helpful, attentive staff. Would most certainly recommend The Baytree for a meal and when you can feed 8 heartily for just over £80 it gets my vote :) Will definitely eat here again.

I wasn't staying at this hotel but went there to eat at night. The food was delicious and lovely and hot. Everywhere seemed very clean, the girls were friendly and soon ready to help and if you went early enough you could get a window seat and look out at the sea while you dined. I loved it.

Had the best carvery dinner ever, here! The meat was beautifully tender and the good variety of vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked. The price of £8.95 was very reasonable especially on a Sunday!

Had a beautiful sunday carvery here today! really great value at £10. good portions of meats, stuffing, pigs in blankets. A great selection of veg! loved every bite.

Has Sports TV, free WIFI, drink and & food. Ticks the boxes for a lot of people. We received good customer service and nice food whilst enjoying the game. You may struggle to find other bars with your favourite match on.

Excellent food although it is cooked from fresh so takes longer to serve but is worth waiting for, we had the chicken in sauce and pork in sauce which was delicious with fresh vegetables and the fish and chips which was excellent ( certain meals are 2 for £12 from Monday to Friday 12-2pm and 5-7pm including fish and chips)

Lovely place to eat. The salmon and broccoli pasta and cheesey garlic bread was scrummy. Prices were ok. The young lady serving was friendly and the food was piping hot. Would definately recommend.

Today we had a lovely Sunday lunch with fresh veg and 3 choices of meats.. We live local so have eaten here before and never been disappointed..The price was only £8.95 I think we will be back next again.

First of all we would like to congratulate ourselves on finding what appears to be, the only place in Llandudno that serves a Sunday Lunch later than 2pm. Trying to find anything at 4pm, other than fast food, is near on impossible.

best sunday carvary we have had for a long time.starts at12 noon. hot plates and hot food 3 choices of meat beef turkey and pork boils in skin roasted potatoes yorkshires cauliflower green beans and carrots and gravy only went llandudno for the day but wont be afraid to go again .

Another fantastic Sunday lunch. Excellent food wonderful staff this was our second visit. The standard of the food was just as good as the last time. Everywhere so clean. Beautiful sea views from the tables in the windows. Clone the chef! I would highly recommended you give this restaurant a try.

Went in for evening meal tonight, booked table for 7.30pm. Ordered Lasagna and a portion of garlic bread, came with side salad and jacket potato. Very bland no flavour at all. No dressing on salad, garlic bread hard slightly burnt in parts. Hot chocolate no cream, no sugar. Had to ask for both. Asked for a salad dressing and was offered vinegar dressing. My partner ordered gammon. Was very dry. The service was without a smile, no one asked if the food was ok, didn't know where to pay had to ask barman. One waitress really miserable the other 2 looked very pleasant. Disappointed wouldn't return! We only used the hotel for food as it was open to non residents!

Popped in for some lunch, wonderful service. Food was fast coming out and delicious. Staff very friendly, atmosphere nice and great value for money. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a perfect view with yummy food. :) Highly recommended

Came here as advertised 2 for 12 pounds for meals outside. Didn't mention that it was only Mon to Fri only found this out when Sat down and was in small print on menu. Ordered anyway and paid full price for small portion sizes not fit for a budgie and I am sure the burgers were from Iceland. Needless to say we will not be returning.

We found the Baytree Hotel Restaurant purely by chance whilst we were on the North Shore. The restaurant was nicely decorated and was a pleasant place to have lunch with good views of the promenade. The menu was quite varied and reasonably priced given it's prime location, food orders were taken at the bar and the meals arrived in reasonable time. We would definitely visit again.

Had lunch here recently, service, although adequate was slow. Chap on the bar was apparently doing everything. Quality of the food was passable, thank God for microwaves eh? Having said that, the price was reasonable. The views though are great, it is in a good location.

Be aware of the sign outside the hotel drawing you in for the two meals for £12.It is not valid on a weekend. We got fish and chips the fish had come out of a box worst £20 I have ever spent. The service was nothing special.

Owned by the Mitchell Family who also own The Chatsworth House Hotel on Gloddeath Crescent, this is a lovely hotel - a bit contemporary. We arrived hoping to have dinner. It was nice to find a restaurant in Llandudno that didn't just serve dinner between 5pm-7pm. We sat in the lovely dining room that has a beautiful seascape mural on the wall which seemingly was produced in Rome and is imbedded into the wall. It's really lovely. We didn't get our server's name but he was on his own in the dining room and doing a fantastic job. We guessed he is relatively new as he seemed just a little bit nervous but he knew everything and what he didn't he headed off to find out without hesitation. He was friendly and capable and just attentive enough to be super and not at all obtrusive. Our meal was lovely and very good value at £29 (approx.) for 1x starter, 2x mains and 1x dessert trio, plus wine and soft drinks. We ate every morsel of our meal and enjoyed every bite. Nice simple menu with just enough options for variety but not so many to be confusing or vague.

Just eaten in the restaurant , and it was first class, the food presentation was excellent, the quantity was just right, and the food was absolutely delicious, and good value for money, served by a very pleasant waitress, we will be going back again,and wouldn t hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Just back from this lovely hotel, we went with a group of friends for a Tinsel and Turkey break. We had a brilliant time, the hotel was very comfortable, beautiful view from our room. the food was absolutely stunning , compliments to the chef especially for the steak and ale pie, absolutely wonderful. Every meal was excellent, all our diets were catered for as their were several diabetics in the group. We had marvellous entertainment in the evenings.the staff were very helpful and looked after us brilliantly. I will definitely be going back. we all enjoyed ourselves

Two course sunday lunch for a tenner was fine for the money. Limited ale selection. Reasonable food portions but veggies kept warm too long and mushy. Pleasant staff, neat and tidy inside. Can't quite give it very good because the food wasn't. But it was OK and I would say quite good value given the cost. Would possibly return if I wanted a cheap and cheerful meal but not if I wanted really good food

We had a fantastic dinner at the newly renovated Baytree. The food, staff and atmosphere were all perfect - absolutely no complaints. We highly encourage people to check this gem out.
