To night We come here after a night out and the robbed us £10 i ordered food and payed for it in cash then left my boyfriend in the shop while i walked my sister to a taxie, and while i was away the bloke behind the counter proceeds to say that i did not pay for it and my boyfriend said yes she did and he said no so to not cause trouble my boyfriend paid then when i come back he explained n i said to the bloke i already payed n he said oh you did not say he was with you so i said well i want the £10 back and he said yes u will get it back, they give us our food and i said are you given me my £10 back n the bloke laughed then walked away he obviously thought we were more drunker than we actually where n thought we would not notice how wrong was he So becareful and watch your money because they rob you i will not be going back and will make sure none of my friends and family do aswell

Called here for a burger and chips. The burger of choice was an American Burger. Was really looking forward to this burger, I asked for it to be rapped and paid the £7.00 Jumped in a taxi and was home within 5min, when I unwrapped the burger and what a disappointment, the bottom half of the burger bun had disintegrated in to mush due to all the grease running from the burger.

We had notification that our delivery had been delivered only to receive it 40 mins later, freezing cold and not an apology. Very very disappointing attitude of staff both delivery and in shop.

Absolutely disgusting don’t ever get a job at this place they don’t treat new workers right by shouting and screaming at them and then they don’t pay you the right amount for the hours you work. This place just rips people off big time. Never ever going there again.

Can't even make a pepperoni pizza or fix the mistake when clearly that isn't one Phone manner and attitude shocking

Went to Baxter’s tonight. Order wrong when I got home... AGAIN. Won’t be returning this time. Rang to say it wasn’t right, covered in cheese for some reason (a plain chicken burger??). No offer to drop one to me at home, just said they’d make another, expecting me to walk back. No thanks. 3 strikes and you’re out!

The Chicken Kebabs seemed a bit pricey at £9.00 but they had an offer of 20% discount off orders over £25.00, which brought the price back into the realm of reasonableness. The kebabs were served with 2 Pitta breads, salad or chips and a choice of sauce. The Chicken was beautifully marinated in Lemon juice and Olive Oil and was plentiful and nicely cooked. The salad had a good mix but I personally would have liked more. We added to it from our fridge. Chilli sauce was a thick, tasty salsa and the Pitta breads were the smaller size, which were slightly thicker. This made them less likely to break, though they were not invincible. Our son had the 1/2 pound Chicken Nacho burger and chips. It looked really nice and he said that it was one of the best burgers, that he had eaten for some time. A compliment indeed. We had to wait the full hour quoted but Chester-le-Street is a 10 minute drive away. Still, it was well worth the wait.

Food nice as normal however every order has an item wrong, last time no pitta breads, this time no chilli sauce when I asked for only chilli with the kebab and paid for an extra garlic? 1 more strike and your out baxters

Uaually is lush and i had 1 bit of pizza and thr dog had the rest was awful and soggy, gutted

We usually really like Baxters but we ordered a cheeseburger which arrived without cheese and asked for spaghetti bolognese without salad (cos it makes the chips soggy!) and it arrived with salad so we were a little bit disappointed.

The food is delicious however first time written a complaint review wrong pizza and wrong sauce

Excellent food. Huge portions. Takeaway called to say chosen dessert was unavailable and gave me others to choose from which wasn't a problem at all.

It took 4 times to get order right think I've met every delivery driver attitude of woman on phone was disgusting due to there attitude they have lost a customer

Food lovely however chips missing when got it home. Baxters offered to deliver chips immediately but I requested refund instead which justeat organised no problem.

Don't no what the hell u done to kebab meat but it was that hot and spicy we couldn't physically eat it. Plain chicken was bland and dry

The food is always lovely from baxters. The only disappointment tonight was the fact we'd paid for extra garlic sauce but didn't get it other than that, it was spot on.

Best takeaway I've had in a long time abit more expensive than I'm used to but was well worth it throughly enjoyed it. Never eaten from here before but will defiantly be our new local takeout.

Xl mixed kebab is huge. If u have a family buy 1 of these and ya nights sorted

All the pizza topping was on one side of the pizza as if it had been dropped

Food took over an hour to arrive and we only live in dh2 post code area. Pizza base was undercooked and some food only lukewarm. Delivery driver really pleasant

Asked for things to be removed from items ordered, and it was ignored so spoiled the meal really. Delivery was quick and don't normally have any issues.

Chips were cold when delivered.. Rest was just average! Very poor for the price!

Used to order here regular but haven't been for a while and don't think we will be back.£9.50 for a supposedly extra large mixed chicken kebab to find 7 scrappy bits of chicken all tasting the same and couldn't tell whether I was eating the chicken or the pitta bread it was that dry. Twisted fries cold and jacket potatoe cold mush very disappointed

I've been a customer with Baxters for years but first delivery on this app. Easy, quick and food was to a very high standard. Even for a busy Saturday evening! Chicken kebabs are top drawer.

Waited three hours... Food never arrived! Phoned 4 times to be told it's on way, then it's been delivered. (when it hadn't) Stinking attitude when asked for money back!!! Will not be going back!

It will come quicker if you ring i have had to ring a few times to ask were it is because its gone passed the stated time.

Over 1 hour late and fobbed off on the phone, "it's on it's way, we are busy you know!". Disappointing as food is usually of a good standard and service too. Will take my business elsewhere so that you are at least 1 customer less busy. Hope that helps!

Fantastic food, delivered earlier than estimated. Had one issue with pop which was handled perfectly and was delivered promptly after speaking to them.

Pizza was nice enough. I loved the hot dog stuffed crust. I haven't seen it anywhere else. The gigantic tub of garlic sauce was amazing. Delivery was supposed to take 45 mins but it actually took about 75 minutes. Would order from them again though, just earlier!

I live 5 mins away from baxters eta was 2030 I phoned at 2045 he was on the way I finally got delivery at 2110 pizza topping was in the box as pizza had been on its side and it was cold. I phoned to send it back as I was not prepared to eat cold pizza with no topping on 15 mins later a piping hot full of topping pizza turned up why could they not have done this the first time???

We waited over an hour for delivery, we rang twice to ask where it was and they said they had tried to contact me because they could not find the address, although I had no missed calls. Food came eventually, pizza box was soggy on the bottom, pizza was cold and just not nice. Chips were also cold and soggy. First and last time I'll order from here.. Fairly disappointed

Pizza was all squashed in the corner of the box and too much cheese used. Baxter's is nice for everything else except the pizza. Would order again with no pizza.

they've changed the gravy (the one reason why I used to order from baxters) and was sent minging watery bisto gravy instead of the old type. wont be ordering again until I know they aren't sending out bisto gravy

Great meal only down side is that they don't read comments box I asked for no mayo or salad on chicken burger as my son doesn't like it safe to say we had a massive temper tantrum but apart from that's no other problems nice tasty food

Love this place, best place in Chester Le Street by far! I'd defo recommend the gravy too, it is UNREAL! Delivery times always quick and never had any issues with ordering before

Absolutely lovely Pizzas and the chips were delicious. The meal arrived within half an hour and it was lovely and hot. It's the first time we have used Baxters and it certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended.

Bloke's attitude on the phone when I rang up was absolutely disgusting. Only wanted to check something and all I got was ''well you' ve got an order confirmation on the app so I'm pretty sure you're food is ordered and will be there as soon as it can be. Is that all because I've got a job to do'' New staff needed.. Or get rid of him, either way!

First time we have ever ordered from this takeaway but it will be never again. We decided to go with Baxters with them being a bit more expensive and hoping for decent quality. £35 later and most of it is going in the bin. Garlic Mushrooms, Jalapeno Bites and Curry and Chips were nice. Burger was overly sloppy and chips were overdone. Asked for no tomato on the Chicken Supreme Pizza due to allergy and for BBQ Sauce on the base, they smothered BBQ Sauce all over the top of the pizza and lashings of tomato on the base. Secondly with the pizza is that it was underdone, the pizza dough was not cooked right through and was slimy is best way to describe it. Overall an absolute waste of money

Love baxters! Order from there whenever we fancy a takeaway, food is top notch only problem we have encountered is delivery is slow however this could be down to being super busy on a weekend! Drivers are always very friendly!

I love the parmos from here best in chester. Everytime i order i always state chips to be well done and always come soft floppy soggy undercooked. So everyones chips always go in the bin

Delicious food and prompt delivery only complaint is that cake comes covered in cream which I don't like and this is not on menu otherwise I would have asked for it without, meant no nice dessert for me but main order was lovely
