Pizza Time in County Durham

Ordered at 6 20 and waited over 2 hours, after numerous phone calls and telling them to inform the driver to not deliver turned up at 9pm and sent away. Not the drivers fault orders should be prioritised better.

Ordered last night food took almost 2hrs to get here cold food cold kebab meat cold chips soft pizza where it had been stood to long went through food hub shop refused refund so I called the shop and whete the woman argues with me that the food was delieved before the time I said and tried to tell me her driver was back over an hour ago when I have proof on my ring door he'll what time the food was delivered she still wasn't having any of it I asked for a refund of the food the drink were fine still trying to tell me the food wasn't cold and denying it had taken almost 2hrs for the food to arrive. When I have ring footage. Ordering weekly and spending money here because it was nice and its family friendly to have no compensations for a 27 pound food order with cold food she was sticking to her word and basically calling me a liar and ended the call with I won't refund this order. How can they justify cold food I understand this take away is very very busy but order wouldn't go a miss highly disappointed and after weekly orders and giving this shop money never again one time I complain and your spoken to like your stupid on the phone .

Hit or miss here! Won't recommend the parmo here it's absolutely disgusting not even a proper one the bbq wraps donner meat out of here are 10/10 and the death by chocolate is the best cake about! Thing is here your order could be bang on time or 3 hours late and if your really lucky the food actually comes hot! I'd recommend pick up for this reason! Staff always look miserable I don't think in all my years of living in the area I seen one staff member smile!

We put in a ored in at 6.30 and we ring tham back at 8 pm there said it was on the way it was 9.00 we told them we did not want it was too late we not be going back

If I could give 0 stars I would. Waited 2 hours for my food still not delivered rang the restaurant to be met with pretty much a grunt no apology at all. I then left it a little while longer rang again and was met with the same appalling attitude. Cancelled my order as they take the p*ss!

Absolutely disgusting! Food was over 2 hours late, looked and tasted like it had been stood for a very long time. Tried to speak to the shop to complain and they were not answering the phone. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Waited 2 hours for a delivery that said would take between 35-50 minutes . Then when it arrived it had definitely been stood for 2 hours . Steer clear do not order from here . Terrible . If there was a zero star this place would get one !!! All food went in a black sack . Hopefully the bin men will take it !!

Told 40 minutes took over 1 hour 40 phoned a number of times was told everytime it was on it way obviously not the case,first and last time i order from there turned up cold also

I've had some bad takeaways before but this was next level. Delivery time quoted a ridiculous 1 hour 15. But delivery actually took over 2:15! Arrived completely cold, and utterly rank. Heated in the microwave and managed about half, but only because I was starving. Revolting, and won't be go again. No wonder they keep closing down and reopening.

Greasy pizza with not much flavour. Advertised large as 16inch but only sent 12inch

Ordered food through just eat after over just eat rang to check on order to after over an hours wait to be told it was on its way rang back after anoth half a hour to be told to just get a refund from just eat as they hadn't written it down and now they couldn't process the order as they were too busy!!

You ring up any time, the people who answer get arsey with you. Waited nearly 3 hours before it was even delivered. App said it had been delivered 2 hours before. Had many problems with the ferryhill pizza time branch before. If you want it delivered, don't. Just find somewhere else.

This evening we decided to make orders from here which came to around £42 which consisted of pizza, wraps, nachos, cheesy chips, kebabs and 2 portions of plain cooked chicken etc. We were told 40 mins for delivery and it was over an hour. Then we discovered the 2 portions of chicken were missing and the receipt which we were told it would be with the order. I rang them up and told them we had not recieved the 2 portions of chicken and the receipt, we were told they would come back and deliver them straight away, after 40 minutes they arrived with 1 portion of chicken which I thought they must have filled the carton up with the 2 portions. I asked the guy for the receipt and they still hadnt sent it, so I closed the door and went to open the chicken and to my total and utter disgust there was about 5 pieces of chicken in the carton and it looked as they had been eating it on there way to deliver it..... totally abysmal and will never ever buy from them again.. I gave them 1 star but really they dont deserve the 1 star....

Definitely not coming back here the woman on the phone was trying to say I was saying something different and I have got food poisoning

I've ordered from Pizza Time dozens upon dozens of times in the past. It used to be one of the best takeaways in the area. I'm not sure what has happened, but lately the food has been dreadful. Very poor quality of food. Such a shame. They're not going to remain in business much longer if they don't sort something out.

Had an order waited nearly 2hrs for it got it stone cold they took it back and the second one was an apserloot joke hardly nothing in it and cold again sent it back and refused to give you your money back for it as well can not wait to see the owner about this matter as I have gone there for over 20 years as well what a jock then staff are time they were sacked this as hapent 3 times to me over the last 3 months as well the lasses that answer the phone can not e en get your order right at all time they were sacked ill be up there for my money back tomorrow and they will be something sed about this to there boss

Staff were going out for a smoke then coming straight through and working on orders.without any hand washing! Those who didnt smoke had to walk through a cloud of smoke whenever coming in the side door, whether counter staff or drivers. The pizza was over cooked,we would have took it back but we live a long way from shop 25/30 mins either way,chips were re heated and rubbery. The salad wasnt to bad but much prefer salad cold and not heated by storing it between hot packages .pizza time has gone down in my opinion,we used to be frequent customers not now.

Don't waste your time with this bunch of liars. Claimed the item was delivered and collected at the door. Rubbish. 2 and a half hours later and nothing. Beyond useless. Never again.

Just ordered from this takeaway. Late on delivery and very poor quality food. I do not understand why some businesses choose profit margins over customer satisfaction. I have know idea who their suppliers are but the quality of produce is really below the norm. Pizza - had a slice, partner had a slice. In the bin. Parmo wrap - 3 bites. In the bin Chips - Cold but edible.

Absolutely awful. The last 5 or 6 times I've ordered from here, the order has come in about 90 mins. Could accept this as they're busy on a Friday night but to get this cold every time is unacceptable. Told they'd send another out but twice they didn't come and other times it was still cold.

Most of my order was wrong but when I rang up you apologised and sent another out within 40mins-which isn't bad considering it's a Friday night. This one was perfect the salad was fresh, the meat was done lovely and I really enjoyed the meal. Most pizza shops wouldn't even bother sending another, or say they will refund you but then don't. Thanks for the good service I'll definitely be recommending

We have always used pizza time if u look on records. I'm aware things get busy but u order at 6.30 on Friday then agree messaged no later than 19.40. Nothing came. Rang 20 mins later it on its way. It came but cold wend in bin. I've never had bad service from u guys. I would like a reply or something as 20 was paid and went in bin.

Just moved into the area, and placed our first order on line, waiting time was as advertised, but when the order arrived, it was wrong. My wife ordered a Shish Kebab, I should have read the small print, a Shish kebab consists of 80% Donner, and a few bits of Shish on top. My wife doesn’t like Donner, so 80% went in the bin. To complement her meal, she ordered a plain garlic bread, we ordered plain, because she can’t eat cheese. We received a cheesy garlic bread, and a second one free, both of which went in the bin. Luckily, my pizza was actually very nice, think we’ll be trying other shops before returning to this one.

Had a lovely chicken kebab from here. Chicken was cooked perfectly and my kids enjoyed their pizza too. Will definitely order from here again.

The are terrible at speaking English I said no cheese and they put cheese on it and I’m allergic to it it not acceptable. And the chips are horrible as well don’t like this take away shop terrible place don’t understand simple English

Please do not waste you're time or money on this shop, waited 1 hour and asked about my order and got the phone put down on me, phoned again half an hour later and was told my order was cancelled

Pizzas are amazing...sometimes a bit chaotic in the shop when it's busy but who cares! Almost like American pizza pies....

Ordered tonight first time in months and oh did we regret it yet again. Rang to see where food was after waiting over 1.5 hrs to be told "oh it's just leaving I'll get him to drop yrs off first" Can honestly say we're done with business. Food arrives cold, parmo wafer thin and over cooked. Avoid avoid avoid.

The tandoori chicken kebab was very nice.

Tried this place for a second time after a couple of months, thought first time might have been a one off, pizza was inedible for second time, never again. Came late which made it worse!

I just ordered some cheesy chips and they were burned and there was no cheese on them. ITS A SCAM. Don't buy waste of money

Ok shop not the cleanest food is ok

After a 3 hour wait my pizza turned up burnt and cold. It was the worst. It was as stiff as the box it finally arrived in. Last time I order from there. The only saving thing they have are the cheesy chips but I'll collect them next time. One star seems generous on this occasion.

Ordered food and it was horrible my jacket potato tastes like perfume and is rank would never recommend at all !!!!!!

VILE! Toppings on pizza tasted mouldy. Waste of money. All toppings fell off and the dough fell apart. Obviously not cooked properly at all. Won't ever be going back!

Never again!!!!!! Ordered pizza and took over 2 hours to come, then to realise the toppings had been deep fried in what I can only imagine was months old, it smelt so bad I was sick after first bite! Must say its the worst food I've ever had!!!

Food was really nice, good quality and portions size five star for that....shame the order was so wrong,🙄wasn't asked what pop to go with meal had to ask for pop,NO chips but plenty of salad😩,wasn't given a choice.The special chicken wrap didn't have doner meat in it as should have and none of the wraps had chilli sauce or mayonnaise...bit disappointed...maybe given wrong order lol.

Never ever again will i order a pizza from this place. Firstly asked for half and half pepperoni and kebab got a pepperoni pizza with half scattered with kebab . Secondly had jalepenos on which im allergic too. Thirdly it was about 2 inches thick never had a pizza taste so bad one star is over doing it. Complete waste of money. Went in the bin.

Ordered a parmesan giant wrap, got home and it was just battered chicken in the wrap. Rang the shop to be told a parmesan wrap doesn't come with bechamel sauce or cheese. The last 2 times I have used this takeaway I have items missing. Will no longer use this takeaway...

Ordered pizza with no onion, came with virtually a whole mushed up onion under the couple of peices of dried out Donner meat. Been using Pizza Time for years but probably won't now.

Ok for food when everywhere else is closed but be ready to wait.

If I could give half a star then I would, it was an hour late, the food was cold and the burger looked Cremated, hardly any cheese and the bun looked disgusting and the chicken wrap had hardly any chicken an looked like some one done it in the dark, also ask for chips with it and didn’t get any, not ordering from there again

Had to wait 40 mins for order and drove down home and was missing part of the order.had to drive back and wait for it to be cooked.so had to heat other food up, was not nice heated up.not happy

Phoned in order they said 15 to 20 minutes waited 45 minutes.Got home my son's order was wrong went back along they put it right and a free bottle of pop still not happy because mine was cold not the first time we've had the wrong order and had to wait a lot longer than they say.Not be back again for a while.

Took order at 6.50 its now 8.30 and still no show.If it does appear he or she will be taking it back to were it came from.

I ordered a chicken pizza and garlic sauce for delivery at 7:10 pm, it is currently 8:50pm. They said it would be here for 20 past eight. What a joke this is. Almost 2 hours waiting for my delivery of a pizza. When I tried to ring they don't answer, going somewhere else next time

Was told 40 minutes for Delivery, 2hrs 20 mins we are still waiting. After eventually getting through on the phone we were told it's on it's way, we only 10 mins away and been 20 mins since phone call and still no delivery.

Bought a Donner Meat pizza... it was the most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth. To the point I had to throw it away. It was presented like puke in a box and I wish I was exaggerating it was utterly vile. It was my first visit and I will always think twice about thinking of there again 💩
