I wish I knew the young man's name who served us at the Arnison centre MacDonalds on Sunday afternoon. He was very polite and professional. He noticed that I ordered a big Mac without the bun and sent over a knife and fork without us having to ask. These young people who work in MacDonalds have always been respectful, very helpful and I hope the managers notice it too and treat them well. I imagine it to be a bit of a thankless task for them sometimes but hopefully most of us customers appreciate their hard work. Thank you very much young man.

Absolutely ridiculous drive through. Ran by kids who haven’t got a clue! Absolute joke. Where is the manager? These poor children can’t run a restaurant on their own need an adult to support

Probably the slowest service I've ever had ordered double sausage and egg meal at 7 am didn't receive it until 7.25

I have been there many times and every time i have been there late at night after finisheing work. Whatever i order there has always been something missing from the order 90% of the time the most expensive item of my orderand i only ever notice after ive walked home. The main food items ive been missing out off include the chicken big mac, chicken strip select (which was swiched for chicken nuggets which is allot cheeper) and most reasently completly missing the double big mac with bacon. Improvent needs to be made to not scam costomers out of items of food every night

Went there with my mum while sister in opticians.

Sometimes you get told to drive round to the bay things and other times you're sat behind someone else for ages that didn't get told the same which is a bit weird. Inside is okay but the same as every other McDonald's, clean floors that look mucky all the time, broken tables and chairs.

Go there every Thursday with grandchildren. Food is ok but for some reason the ice cream machine is always out of order. Went 3 weeks running and not available. But over the last few months it’s more likely to be out of action than up and running. If it’s always breaking down get a new one . I’m sure Ronald has enough readies to do this!

Never have milk shakes or ice-cream and chicken burgers have gone disgusting

Very crowded in the dinner rush with no where to sit, so had to take out. The wait time was also around 15 minutes for a fairly small order.

Really gone downhill. Think I've been able to get a McFlurry once in the last 6 months. They're never available. I've tried lunchtime, teatime, late evening. When asked I'm always told they have to clean the machines. It's 5.20pm and I can't get one now. Why are you cleaning machines at the most busy times? I suspect you're not. I get an ice cream isnt a huge deal to many but for my Autistic fries and ice cream obsession I tell you it's a huge deal. It's a difference between eating and having a meltdown and not eating deal. Always have to wait in the car park for my order too. No other McDonald's makes me do this every single time. I avoid it now. Would rather drive further to get the food I want and still probably quicker than waiting here. I don't get it. The staff are always friendly however, shame I don't go for the chat though.

Got the new big mac with bacon meal bacon was missing my daughter got a large coke and it was basically just water and the chips where shocking

Drive through was ridiculous, two ordering lanes going into one pay and pick up lane. Did NOT run quickly or smoothly, everyone trying to get to collect point first.. my first and last time here...

Having read some poor reviews about this McDonald’s I have to say it was spot on, and deserves a good review for my visit. Used drive through only took a few mins, food was good, fresh and hot. Car park small but parked no problem, never seen as many rubbish bins at a McDonald’s before. 1.30pm visit on a Thursday.

Quite a small McDonald's. Tight turns in the car park and the drive through. Standard McDonald's menu. Beware the 4 hour limit automated parking charge cameras for the shopping centre which also cover this McDonald's.

Horrendous Waited almost half an hour for food ordered in app, other people got their order and had to take it back as it was wrong Ridiculous

I bought a McCrispy and it felt like I was eating a little slice of heaven that had been carefully put inside a little cardboard box by angels.

Very disappointing branch, McFlurry's always seem to be unavailable on our early evening visits. Last time, ordered a triple cheeseburger, only got a double. Service is quite slow too and food is often not very warm. Bit of a trek through Durham to Dragonville but that one seems much better. The Arnison Centre one is consistently disappointing.

Typical MacDonalds, only issue is that the car park was extremely small and had to park in the Sainsbury's car park and walk over

Popped in a couple of times as my son was in hospital and this was a nice little break for me. Always order via app as love their rewards points. But what I liked about this restaurant was that every parking space is numbered, therefore you can park anywhere and have the food delivered to your car instead of having to park in only a couple of designated spaces.

i ordered 6 nuggets and instead got a quarter pounder (brilliant start), ordered a plain cheeseburger with bacon because the only things i like are the burger, cheese, and bacon (not even the ketchup) so they give me a plain cheeseburger without the bacon which i paid extra for and then a double cheeseburger with bacon and ketchup (thanks). there was no straw for my drink and there was a hair in the cheeseburger. absolutely disgusting i understand yous are busy constantly but pack accuracy is important otherwise you get angry customers

Hot fresh food, used drive through and waited in car park and food brought to your car. Fast and efficient. Best McDonald's around.

Never ever visiting McDonald’s in arniston centre ever again. I got the quarter pounder with cheese burger and I am 100% positive there was something wrong with the way it was cooked. By the time I got home I felt sick and next day I felt awful. I did phone McDonald’s and obviously they saying it wasn’t nothing wrong with their food. Horrible food and disgraceful customer service.

Nice McDonalds as they go. However, do check your order before you move especially if you customise. Apart from that, nice area, nice staff, nice people.

I stopped for a bite to eat on my way home from a concert, the staff member who served me was friendly and smiley, the food .... the chips were fresh and hot, the milkshake was cold, the burger was like cardboard, it wasn't fresh it was Luke warm in fact I ended up only eating half of it.... I won't visit again as it's a little pot luck on freshness

Asked to park up and wait for my order in the car park. My order was 1 beef burger and 2 fries. So much for fast food.

The food was nice however when they came with my food they spilt the drink and did not replace this drink.

Honestly, every time at drive through or delivery - half the order is missing. Is it really that difficult to check the receipt against the item in the bag?? Just had a delivery ( I thought I'd give the benefit of the doubt after the last time) half of it's missing - again! Rang store, fobbed off with ring uber - who never answer. Absolute con. Avoid unless you're in store and watch them pack your order.

Visit here on the 27th of march order a double cheese burger meal with a coffee the burger was not tasty the cheese is tasteless it had raw white onion in the bun was so thin that the burger slipped out it was like a pile of slopes on a soggy bun I managed to eat have of it then into the bin how people eat this rubbish I don’t know since getting back home I've had a upset stomach my advice is go somewhere else for a proper berger

Arnison centre Durham Drive through was extremely busy, waited over 35mins from ordering to receiving food. Order was... chicken nugget happy meal Bbq sauce Book not a toy Fruitshoot drink and a kit kat flurry. I received the following and didn't realise till I got home.. Cheeseburger happy meal No sauce Toy nit a book Fresh orange juice!! Worse service I have experienced at any McDonald's

Jacob on the drive thru speaker had the most exquisite customer service and the hash browns were delectable. We will definitely be returning and hope to be served by jacob again. Tat tare

I ordered my burger with bacon, was served without. They forgot one of the drinks of the happy meals. Everything was resolved though by staff at counter.

Probably my go-to McDonalds. Great food, quick service, just an amazing store compared to many others, which aren't as great as this one. The only issue I have is lack of seating, but that is to be expected with a lot of McDonalds.

This is more to do with mcdelivery. I placed an order at 18:12 on the app the original delivery time was by 18:50 at 18:35 this was changed to 19:25. So by this time my food was more than likely already made and waiting for collection. My food did arrive however at 19:20 delived by Uber it was stone cold and had to be binned tried calling Uber eats who advised 1 hour and 12 mins is excitable time for delivery so noting would be done. Tried to call McDonald’s Arnison center they didn’t answer there phone that’s a cost of £27 wasted because of McDonald’s making the food and just leaving it to go cold on the side and Uber eats taking so long to collect and deliver the food will never use the mcdeliver service again

Ordered a meal for delivery and only received the chips and drink. Rang customer service and I'm getting a refund. I wish you could ring the restaurant and complain and get the burger I should of had delivered as a refund isn't getting to fill my stomach. How is it hard to look in a bag and see a portion of chips and no burger on a meal order and not see an issue.

Well it's about 6 years since I went so if you go often you'll know that it has changed a lot! Not easy to navigate now and staff expect you to know what to do! Didn't seem the happy place that it used to be. The food was exactly the same though

Not normally one to complain but just waited 15 minutes for a breakfast roll meal. Sat down and my order was wrong. Stood at the till for nearly 10 minutes until I stopped and told someone. If it was busy I wouldn't complain but I've been in for a breakfast for nearly 45 minutes

Went drive thru for a coffee,service was quite quick considering a lot of vehicles waiting,coffee very good!.

I placed an order through the app using some of my points, and when I got to collect my items, I was given the wrong order. Some items were correct, and some weren't. I asked for Sprite and was told I'd ordered Diet coke get on with it.. When I got home it was actually full fat coke which I couldn't drink. Normally I have no problems with ordering food. I had been charged extra and no points were used.

Recently they seem to only have a 50% chance of getting orders correct. I've had to return a few times when collecting orders.

This morning I ordered pancakes and syrup and I was given pancakes with a disgusting looking burger on top. I am a vegetarian so I could not eat this, I was also given no cutlery and the lid on my drink was not put on properly so it spilt all over my car. It must’ve been a sausage patty so unsuitable for vegetarians and Muslims who don’t eat pork.

Ordered meals for home delivery, Arrived in Mcdonald's bags sealed with Mcdonald's tape and receipt attached. burgers were missing and restaurant would not take any responsibility, would not refund or replace. Useless incompetent place which also has staff outside directing drive through cars to queue on the main road blocking access to Arnison centre. Avoid if you can.

Would give these zero stars if i could, they cant get 1 order correct. I know they arnt working there because they are blessed with brains but even for the most simple person it isnt hard to look at an order and fill a bag is it?? Bought a strawberry milk shake and it tasted of chocolate so went back and bought another and it had chocolate on the lid so I asked for a new one and the manager who’s name is Caitlin/Kaitlin/Kaitlyn. She got defensive and started to argue but I said that it should be what I ordered. Eventually she changed it so I’m guessing she cleaned the nossle and finally we got a proper strawberry milkshake. good that they finally changed it but it took persuading.

Not only does this macdonalds block the exist to the arnison centre. My 2 year old had to witness and female winding her window down and shouting f**k off to us. What an absolute disgrace. This macdonalds should be moved or closed down as it brings people like that to a nice area. She clearly has no class.

i been today and ordered on take away fish burger with extra stuff, had label on box, which meant to be everything inside, but i didn't had nothing extra which i paid of. Restaurant was quiet busy, so i don't really understand why i had old cold fries as well. Didn't manage to get our meal as twice security guard directed us away but allowed other car straight behind us to go into car park twice! Lost our custom and wont bother using this branch! Two security guards were total Jobsworths and not good for business!!!!

Called in Saturday lunch time standard McDonald's food and set up as you would expect. All three of us enjoyed and would return if we are in the area again.

It was actually pants. We specifically asked for one of the dips twice and they still forgot. Then they forgot several items! I mean, how can you forget half the order when it’s written down in front of you? Unbelievable.

I am trying to review Durham Motorway Mcdonald's so hope this is it. It was fine, nothing special. The counter was a little overwhelmed as we were a bus load of tourist. Food was hot so that was good.

I visited with my son for lunch at this notoriously busy restaurant but fortunately had no problems ordering. We were served at the cash till by a particularly friendly member of staff called Sophie, she was very professional and presented a smile on her face throughout. Sophie was very helpful offering us table service. The food was as good as expected and all the staff were very friendly.

This fast food place is the place to go it has everything from a chicken lover to a vegetarian eater it has something for everyone excellent service as well.

This busy branch, is handy, nesting at the edge of this expanding shopping area. The food is what you expect from McDonald’s but like many others we have been to. You best check your order if you go through the drive through. Mistakes get made.

Dreadful Customer Service this morning ordered breakfast and was asked to park in the car park, normally you would expect a short wait, well not this morning Ten Minutes past and still no sign of my food, ended up going into the place and was faced with a member staff who clearly didn’t give a toss, absolutely dreadful and not what I’m used to when visiting McDonalds. Wish I’d taken her name now and written to the manager, service like that has no place in the modern day
