i have been waiting for my order for the past two hours and it’s still now here i ordered 4 things this is actually ridiculous and i’m raging

How can it take 15.mins wait for 2 cheese burger then still had to go into restaurant used drive throw. Totally rubbish not acceptable

Arrived and ordered on the electronic ordering computer. Waited about 20 minutes for takeaway. Many chips spilled on the tray left on the tray. I live three minutes from the restaurant food cold on arrival home. None of the sauces selected were in the bag. I said to the server. Do we just lose those chips as they remained on the tray. He looked puzzled and said we don't like doing this either. Not sure what he meant. It's ages since I've been to McDonald's due to poor service. It'll be a while before I go again.

Service a little slow for eating in as they seem to prioritise the drive thru. But overall it's OK. It's like all McDonald's.

Enjoyed sitting in McDonald's for a change instead of going through the drive .

All of the food was perfect and so was the majority of the staff there was one staff member that just had something against me and I think her name was Nina first I was ordering on the machine and it wasn’t working but I was still calm but then she came over and said “don’t hit it hard or it will freeze just be patient” then I sat down and was still sitting down so my foot was on the chair for a second and she comes over and says “get your feet of the chair” as if that wasn’t bad enough she gave me hacky looks the whole time I was in the restaurant everyone else was lovley and so was the food she was the only bad thing

My recent experiences since the re-opening have not been good…annoying when you get home to find items missing or wrong items…today took the biscuit ‘(literally)….no fruit bag, no small fries and no brownie….but hey I did get a biscuit…..they need to sort themselves out !!

Bad service and didn't get food I ordered

Always get something wrong on the order even if it's at the drive thru. Ordered via the app and for the 3rd time in 5 orders something is missing or wrong. Can't get through via phone and reporting via Uber eats triggered only £1.20 refund. Waste of time.

Ordered off just eat and half order was missing options were either come up and get it or come tomorrow What use is that Typical Consett McDonalds

Food is always delivered cold to your door. Live 2 mins away🤷‍♂️. Ordered 7 things, got one monopoly card, sure the staff at consett are stealing them for themselves. The winners will all be McDonald’s employees

I ordered through Uber Eats. They missed all of the Hash browns off the order Apparently they couldn't rectify this because according to the Manager of Macdonald's Consett. They work for Uber.

Just Eat and this McDonald's seem to have an inability to work cohesively. I imagine there is some poor management at play, and it's probably understaffed for the demand of the area. Overall, the service is friendly, but average, you shouldn't expect much more from McDonald's "they aren't lovin' it". Food average as always, but convenient and cheap.

3rd time my daughter breakfast hasent came. Easy to see on the order that there 3 burgers 4 hashbrowns and 2 orange juice. Nope half that's missing and it's stone Cold absolutely joke sick and tired of this with mc delivery and they refuse to answer the phone as they know it's someone calling to kick off about missing orders

This McDonalds is comically slow. You'll easily wait 20+ minutes for food. The building is nice since the refurbishment, but they must be either consistently understaffed or incompetent... or both.

I went to this Macdonald's this morning at just after 5am. Despite it being 'open 24 hours' it wasn't. There were cones out 'restaurant ' was locked. I couldn't get in and no one let me in even tho they could see me waiting. So zero stars from me for food, service and atmosphere as I didn't get any of it. So I had to starve till I got to Bishop Auckland Macdonald's. Bishop MacDonald's saved my life! Consett Macdonald's don't care if you live or die!

Honestly since this big "re-opening" I would just avoid this branch. Chances are you'll get half your order and half of someone else's, or just half of your own, and when it arrives it'll be cold. Phoning the branch does nothing as they blame just eat. Requested my refund, going somewhere else. I recommend doing the same if you're reading this.

Food was 1 hour and a half late, freezing cold, and when I rang up, it was up to me to drive down there to get a new "delivered order." Not so much as an apology, either. Absolutely disgraceful.

Car park is always full of just eat people waiting for orders so hard to get parked. Always have to wait in bays if using drive through. Had a recent refurbishment but nothing has really changed other than an extra window on the drive through. Service is slow because they are so busy with just eat and deliveroo orders. No longer "fast" food.

Rubbery barely warm fries. Straight in the bin.

I've had to amend my review as today they have refused to add lettuce on my Double Quarter Pounder. Would it be that much trouble of them to add it on? Seemly so.

Third time in a row visiting that our orders were wrong, just changing a McFlurry for the correct one took over 30 minutes!! There was actually a small line of people waiting to get the correct orders, at least we weren’t alone in our experience I suppose. Both me and my partner have been ill twice after eating here since it reopened, seemingly from the burgers. He ended up with food poisoning, glad I just had a dodgy stomach. Seen many others complaining of the same things, better off going to Stanley McDonald’s and that’s saying something!

Always have to wait in car park as food is never ready. Even the designated parking areas are full so just get told to park anywhere and by the time they have wandered round trying to find your car the food is cold

The place is lovely and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Absolutely spot on.

We just ordered a chicken burger with NO sauce or veggies. Just a plain burger that’s it. It now said it might take 40 minutes but it’s taking the piss. Ordered around 11.30 and it is now 12.00 on the dot. ONE CHICKEN BURGER. I’ll update if it comes cold; also they haven’t even prepared it yet. Raging !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting food. Went back to rectify but was still provided with horrible food cold, brown fries, wrong burger given, charged extra for the right burger and when given the food back they didn't give us both fries only one. If I could give a 0 star I would. FERRAL

Refurbished but nowhere near as good as its sister branch 6 miles away in Stanley. However, staff are still great. McDonald's app is still rubbish.

How disgusting, rubbish all over the floor and tables. Drunks asleep at the tables, there is more atmosphere on the moon. Really is this what the manager thinks is acceptable, if so, he/she should be sacked period.

Second time I have been, where the order was a wrong. After waiting in a long time for the drive through,.my order was wrong. only to be told for them to correct an order, "I need to go back around through the drive through" which would have taken over 20 minutes to correct a mistake made by the incompetent staff. The person taking the order from the machine cut me off in the middle of my order, which had to be semi rectified with two orders. Which resulted in missing food. Do not use this place and if you are an employer avoid hiring anyone who has worked in this Macdonald's, I have never had such an incompetent experience made by the staff after it has reopened.

Went to consett McDonald's waited half hour to be served at drive in and 5 cars went through no 1 and no one came on mic at 2 went to counter asked why and the girl said the headset had gone dead but no body came out to let the customers know what was happening which is totally not good service and management

Ordered from Uber eats this place can't get orders right or missing items when ordered from platforms not the first time I have been conned from this place staff want to consider people's money and food instead of conning people out of pocket not very happy definitely better to go in and order. I know there are busy but its taking the Mick when you spend money on food and don't receive it I hope the management team at Consett see this and pull there fingers out of there backside and get people there moneys worth and food as promised instead of conning out of money/food!

Still no care for proper customers, I did think the refurbishment would mean better and faster but alas this establishment is now worse than the customer experience at Stanley and that’s a hard mark to surpass more interested in just eat takeouts than customers who turn up to the restaurant hang your heads in shame Consett McDonald’s to be worse than Stanley takes an amazing amount of effort

NO APOLOGIES OR ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR ACTIONS. ABSOLUTE JOKE. WONT BE COMING BACK HERE EVER AGAIN. P.s. Went around the corner to KFC, ordered and received in less than 10mins.

How disappointing!! we've waited months for the grand reopening of the Consett branch, and today was my first visit, and what an absolute dismissal experience, yes it was quite busy, but it took the clueless staff over 40 minutes to complete my order, and that was only after I complained, dozons of people came and went while I waited, to pass the time I counted cars leaving the drive through, I lost count at 50, plus when I complained all I got was a surly attitude from the older women behind the counter, the only advice I have for future customers, is to use the drive through, or just eat(same driver came and went 3 times while I waited), because going in-store is horrendous

Asked for a mayo chicken with cheese and I received a scabby stone cold meal! All the kids happy meals were stone called milkshakes melted! And then contacted McDonald’s for them to say they can’t do nothing because it was delivered within the time it said. The time had changed 3 different times!! Absolute disgrace

McDonald's at Pond business park Consett is Brilliant service lovely staff,really clean restaurant and toilets, we go here sometimes twice a day, food is presented neat and not swimming in grease, nice latte's too.

Fast food? I ordered on just eat, watched for 45mins it said it was out for delivery with the courier, then suddenly cancelled. No reason why, just you're cancelled mate. Won't answer phone so never again, never!

The place is clean people are nice the food is delicious I would definitely suggested yo all my family and friends better than KFC over the road

Ordered through the app so quick service. One meal and side order of mozzarella sticks to take away. Burger and fries lovely but mozzarella sticks were missing from order . Must remember to start checking before leaving

.the macdonalds at the metro center cinema is arguably the worst and most extremely dirty litter everywhere no clean seating and the food was awful

If you like hairy food, then you’ve hit the jackpot, you’ll have so much on your chips, you can even make a new wig

No greeting, no acknowledgement, no "have a nice day" but more annoying was she stood talking to a staff member about non work things, with my orders bag sitting open and when my number was called I realized it was my order and had a luke warm burger... shocking customer service all round... Won't be returning...👎👎

Hate to leave a bad review but food today was so bad and inedible. Dry, rubbery tasteless chicken sandwich with brown lettuce. Fries were limp and anaemic looking and also had to pull into bay and wait. Only giving two stars for friendly staff.

Very poor mcdonalds very rarely get your order right or miss things off. Its not that hard to read from a ticket and not miss things but here it seems virtually impossible

"Manager" Went for breakfast today at 505am no one else in drive through told to park in car park so she could make it look like she's being efficient waited 10 mins or so for the manager to virtually throw my food into my car the when I suggested she had an attitude she turns into david daily taking photos of my reg saying she's having me arrested for verbal abuse lol please retrain her and give her anger management , unbelievable that she's been given responsibility as the people normally serving are quite cool 😎

Hardly ever have food ready...quite often pls pull into the car park...on 1 occasion they forget my order...I was waiting in the carpark for 20 minutes....need to do better

Where do I start with Consett Mc Donald’s, well we used to eat in until Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat took up squatting rights in the front of house next to the counter with loud raucous behavior, as a result of this the car park available spaces are reduced, you simply can’t get moved for them, plus the addition of those stupid DIY screens that are a walking health hazard make it even harder to get what you want, so drive through is now the preferred method. Today we went through the drive through placed order wife wanted “The Double Big Mac” as it was back on the menu, ordered a carrot bag too, next window checked order yeah it was correct so paid, collection window we were told that they didn’t have any carrot bags! Pretty sure if the POS system is set up correct for stock taking purposes it will show as N/A, but offered a Melon or Cucumber or a refund for 80 odd pence told them to stick it in the charity tub. We got home my order was right for once although my latte had clearly been on the drink stand for a while as it was warm wife’s was hot, the wife always uses a plate so when taking out her alleged Double Big Mac which should have 4 pates in it actually had 2 and a strip of bacon, so checked the receipt and it stated Double Big Mac, wife being hungry and not confrontational said leave it I’ll eat it. The whole experience of using Consett MD’s is horrendous from in store and drive through point of views, Car Park is either full half of which are people who have been through the drive through, 6 or 7 delivery drivers camping out in the counter area, health hazard touch screen ordering points not user friendly, Drive through both lanes manned by one person who instantly asks are you using the app instead of what can I get you. Basic wrap of the day meal and big mac meal with coffee must be one of the biggest sellers they have and you normally get directed to the grill parking or anywhere else you can find to wait for order, hence warm hot drinks! You get the order after it’s visited 4 or 5 other cars, get home open the burger box up and hey presto it’s wrong or it’s got something missing or something on it you didn’t order, pre covid this MD’s was decent quick counter service, pleasant staff, food was of a decent quality very little to complain about, the added tech has made it worse, it now seems directed towards app using and delivery, sod the person who wants to go in and sit down interact with the staff, communication seems to be an issue here or maybe it’s training, they seem to run around like headless chickens, dam shame it can’t go back to how it used to be.

Standard McDonalds, no issues, staff were lovely, food was tasty. Nothing more to be said really. There was plenty of parking and very accessible if passing as it’s on the edge of town

Absolutely disgraceful experience. In short rude staff. I tried to use the app, didn’t work, then drove through the drive through, tills went down, got to the window, now I could order. 15 minutes now had gone by. Ordered the meal for the kids and a cheeseburger for me (wanted milkshakes but there are never any). Went to the next window and checked my order when I got it. Cheeseburger missing “sorry the cheeseburger is missing” only to be told, “ did you check your order? No I wasn’t asked to, just pay, well you need to back round the drive thru” unbelievable. I said no and asked to speak to a manager as the original meal would be cold by then. Always is any way so I suppose no difference. The next option was to refund me and “go somewhere else”. I asked to speak to the manager, not raising my voice. Manager came, listened as I told them about the poor experience and how I wouldn’t be spoken to like that, for another manager to come and tell me to go. Good luck anyone else that goes there. By the way you can’t complain to them either as there is no portal on their website

My fave breakfast double sausage and egg MC muffin with side order of hash browns yum yum ❤️ they make best coffee love the fact hash browns are bigger now ❤️

the reason why i give this a 3 star is because of sometimes when its friday (or early friday) many people will go in the line of drive-through, causing it to wait for so long

Another episode of being given the wrong order. This time I caught it at the drive through window when they went to hand me a bunch of drinks. We didn’t order any drinks, so I knew immediately. Then when we did get our order home, turns out our nuggets were short. Total shambles. Again.

Visited lovely Hexham and we had breakfast at Mc Donald’s. Looks a nice new store but my word it could do with a good deep clean. Food left on the floors, underneath tables and even on the seats. Standards are very low in this store unfortunately. We watched the staff clean some tables and I must say they clearly don’t get trained properly or just don’t care. Think the management need to train their employees better and educate how cleaning is important.

How thick do you have to be? Never make your order right by the time you leave you have drive back or cut ya losses. Then they never answer the phones it’s a joke
