Bathzaar in Bristol, City of

We discovered this gorgeous little shop whilst wandering round Bath and we were so thrilled that we did. The Turkish delight is imported direct from Turkey and is utterly delicious, quite unlike the sugary gloop you can get in the supermarkets here. If you think you don’t like Turkish Delight but haven’t tried the real thing you’ll be amazed! The owner is so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about all the flavours he stocks. He told us that his favourite flavour is the barberry and pomegranate - wow! We bought a mixture of flavours for ourselves and some for a gift but we’re already rather worried about the present making it to our friends! Do yourself a favour and get some - you can also buy on line - but a trip to the shop is a great treat.

Great coffee and yummy baklava and Turkish delight in a quiet covered alleyway in Bath. Very welcome spot after a couple of hours at the Roman baths.

I was absolutely delighted by the quality of the Baklava at Bathzaar/Loqum. Indeed, it was some of the tastiest I have ever had. The cafe is located in a prime spot in the Bath city centre, while also retaining the benefit of a covered roof for the "outdoors" seating thanks to the roof of the arcade. The price is also reasonable for the quality and location.

Absolutely delicious Turkish delight! Flavours I had were Mint, Pineapple and Pomegranate. I love Turkish delight and thoroughly appreciate good quality Turkish delight and in the past I’ve had Turkish delight as gifts from both Harrods and Fortnum and Mason and thought theirs were delicious. I can definitely say, that I won’t be needing to hint for Turkish delight gifts from those places again as the Turkish delight at Bathzaar is amazing. The flavours are so delicious. Great that it is Vegan and so many flavours to try. Lovely, clean and neat shop/cafe. Ahmet who owns Bathzaar is a lovely, friendly and kind person. Definitely a place worth stopping by.

Great range of flavours for the best Turkish Delight I've ever tried. They also serve coffee which smells amazing and baklava which I can't have but seems very enjoyable to others.

Whenever we come to Bath we come here to buy Turkish Delight and baklava. It’s just delicious and authentic, not like the little boxes you see in a supermarket. Today we had more time and stopped for a drink (with baklava of course). Very reasonably priced, nicely served - with a smile. Would thoroughly recommend.

Always make a point of stopping here when visiting Bath. Amazing Turkish coffee & Turkish delight. Friendly owners. Give it a try!

We happened on this shop while wandering around Bath, it sells coffee (the usual type and traditional Turkish) fresh Baklava and proper Turkish Delight and well as coffee making equipment. A few tables under cover and a friendly owner. The Baklava was excellent, cut from a fresh tray either with coffee or to take away and the Turkish Delight had all the ‘proper’ variety (my favourite still being pistachio) Absolute gem of a shop and a reason I’d love to live in Bath
