Went during the Euro final. Great staff especially the bloke running round picking all the drinks up. Had a nice time. Hope it does well

Tried again and it's got worse. If i could have updated my previous review i'd have done that, but i'm forced to write another, sorry Bath Cider House. Management are still angry all their staff and their pizza selection is still bad for veggies, expensive as hell, and served in hot as lava trays. I tried again, sorry but you've gone backwards.

This is a real hidden gem. The front makes it appear small but step inside to a hidden garden with amazing views. The pizza are fab and great price. Staff friendly. I had a cider

Attitude of staff was terrible especially the door staff. Took our dog there as it is supposed to be “dog friendly”. Was told that dogs had to leave at 10.00pm!! What’s he going to do after 10!

Bar staff 5/5 but the bouncer was incredibly rude - nearly didn’t let me in because apparently my trousers were too low - this is prejudice against youth culture and isn’t true because my knees were NOT in the breeze - the bouncer made me feel uncomfortable and I had the others staring at me when I tried to order a drink.

We decided to stop here for drinks as we wanted to try some ciders while in Bath. They did have a large selection of ciders but the atmosphere was not that great. It did not have that quaint pub feel that I love.

Lovely place in the middle of Bath, fun, mixture of ages. Huge choice of ciders, lovely beer. Loads of events, we are going to return for a quiz night. The pizza, OMG, unreal! Best pizza we have had for a long time! Def recommend a visit.

The absolute best spot, with some breathtaking views of Bath. There are friendly staff & a vibrant manager who made me feel at ease. Not to be missed.

Well where do I start with this place where start from the beginning? Firstly the atmosphere of the venue is second to none on a nice day you get a great view of the city. Unfortunately the day we went it was wet so we’ll have to revisit just to be able to sit outside and take in the breathtaking views, the food is amazing and they’re not kidding when they say extremely large pizzas. As for the drinks they have a wide range of choice and some drinks that you wouldn’t expect to be able to find which is a pleasant surprise. The service that is offered is amazing the staff couldn’t do, nothing more, nothing is too much trouble

A great place to visit for the cider connoisseur. Around 20 ciders to try in a lovely chilled atmosphere. Will definitely head here again next time we are in Bath.

Didn’t plan for dinner but when we did wow, the pizza was immense! We also ended up going on quiz night by default. Was great. Fully recommended, not forgetting their choice of ciders - goes without saying, will definitely be back when visiting bath for sure

Ordering on smartphone is long and complicated, plus unremovable service charge on app then asked to tip. They were showing skysport F1, but no subtitles and music was far too loud for a conversation. Pizza was a good size, it a little over priced, but was able to take away. Unfortunately it is served directly on the oven tray.

A great new opening just around the corner from the top of Milsom Street, this is, as it’s name suggests, something of a cider venue, and if that’s what you’re after you certainly won’t be disappointed with around 20 to choose from, including four that are brewed on site in the pub. It’s hot a nice rustic feel to it, and I suspect there would be great views from the terrace at the rear, although it was too dark to see when we visited. The food offering is entirely pizza, and these seem a little on the expensive side, with the cheapest coming in at £14.50. I opted for the Big Boi BBQ with beef meatballs, pulled pork, pepperoni, red onion, bbq sauce and mozzarella, and this was priced at a rather ambitious £21.50. On arrival though, it became apparent why they are quite expensive, for it was absolutely enormous. The menu says that they are 14” pizzas, but they are also square, rather than round. By my reckoning, a 12” round pizza works out at 113 sq inches, where this one would be 196 sq inches, so pretty much double. So if you’re with someone else who wants the same pizza, they are much more reasonable. It was served in a metal tray, presumably the one it was cooked in, and this in turn was in a wicker basket. It was actually very good, plenty of topping, good crusts and a decent flavour from the bbq sauce. Oh, and the cider was good too!

Lunch time on a Saturday, pizzas too big, just a waste of food. Greek salad was tasteless, and used iceberg not babygem as stated on menu, and leaves were far too wet. I would have been very disappointed had I ordered the salad as a main meal, but we had it to share with pizza. Weirdest nachos I've ever had, cold, no melted cheese, just this odd cold cheese sauce. Cant see that would return, nothing to make this place standout at all. Staff ok, as you do all the work yourself re ordering etc, minimal interaction.

Fab new place - deceptively large as it goes down a floor from street level with added bonus of a terrace/garden. Lovely home made cider plus excellent other choices. The square 14 inch pizza was delicious and easily feeds 2 - maybe 3. Great staff, nice atmosphere, recently decorated so feels warm and a place we will certainly visit again. Great if you love cider - the Bath Gold is fantastic - but equally great if you don’t. TVs showing sport but not at all obtrusive.

It's worth exploring every bit of Bath because we found this amazing new place that has just opened up. The Bath Cider House is a quirky cider bar with an amazing pizza menu. I've never had chickpeas on a pizza before, but it was super tasty, and massive - 1 between at least 2 people, unless your feeling like a challenge! The interior is really nicely done, and there's a beautiful beer garden out back with stunning views. All the staff were really friendly and clearly love working there. Definitely recommend you pop in, we'll certainly be going back for some of their live music and pub quizzes :)

You really need to go inside this place to fully appreciate what is on offer. Its more or less brand new and is still to be established, but that won't take long. There are mini lifts to the main part of the pub for those who need them, so dont let the stairs put you off. It has a lovely outdoor patio area. They have many ciders being brewed in house in the large copper vats, not all are ready to drink yet. We were welcomed by a very nice girl (Bryony) who served us and told us a bit about the place. We only had drinks and did not sample the food, but the pizzas being served looked great. A tip for the management...relocate your A board which is down the road hidden between some lamposts, its not getting peoples attention and possibly have another one directly outside of the entrance. We will certainly be back to sample those pizzas.

First thing to mention is the way it looks… they’ve done a fantastic job bringing life in to a run down building. It looks lovely. Except for the outdoor patio area, but we’ll get to that. The staff are obviously very inexperienced, and the manager...

I work close by so I like to go to b block on my lunch break, I have 30 minutes to have lunch so I sometimes pre order my food, I ordered food at half 11 to be ready for 12, I came down and they forgot to prepare my pre order, they then put this on and gave my order to someone else! I waited over 15 minutes for the food. I however thought this was a one off, I went back in on another day and walked in to an empty place so I was pleased it wouldn’t take long! They forgot to put my order on again! Waited over 10 minutes as I thought they may notice as I could see the poor women on the till was training someone, but no they forgot again and then tried to put it on after 20 minutes of waiting, I then asked for a refund which was done no questions asked, the only good thing out of it was the customer service from the lady on the till who was very apologetic, being a trained chef I do think the service is terrible, there is more chatting than serving. I will not be back to b block any time soon

Great pub, only dropped in to meet a friend, all seemed very friendly and welcoming, a locals pub that is open to all so great! Looked like there was a good selection of beer plenty of soft drinks, easy parking so good meeting spot! Great find.

When we arrived we were seated in the basement in a damp, crowded corner, the whole place smelt very strange, which was very unpleasant, we decided to leave before we had even ordered any drinks, I made the waitress aware of this and she tried to offer us an alternative, to which I politely declined, she then decided to chase us up the stairs trying to offer more alternatives, it has gone downhill since our last visit
