the onion bhaji were fused together in a massive clumb, and way over cooked. My Lamb Biryani was ok but I kept biting into the seasonings, like cinnamon and cardamon... it was very un pleasant.

Its really disappointing I mean I had worst experience it’s showed delivered but I didn’t get any food

Debated ordering here due to some of the reviews. After tasting, you can ignore them. Food was delicious!! Lamb curry combined with the raita hit the spot

Momos was very salty and spicy, my child couldn’t eat at all. Samosa chat was very dry.

Missing item when I rang the store was told to order something else and they’ll send the item with the new order. When I didn’t need anything else. Why would I repay for delivery and items I don’t need just to receive the missing item. First time ordering and has put me off ordering from them again

Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service I recently placed an order through Uber Eats (Order No. 2D1A9) from Base Camp Lounge Restaurant, which was running a "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" promotion on Lamb Biryani. I ordered two Lamb Biryanis, expecting four as per the promotion. However, I only received two biryanis in the delivery. Initially, I decided not to raise the issue directly with Uber, as I’ve been a loyal customer with over 12 orders through Uber and Deliveroo. Instead, I called the restaurant to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the manager, Raj, who answered the call, was dismissive and unprofessional(Dumb). He repeatedly insisted that I only paid for two biryanis and therefore, only two were delivered. Despite being aware of the promotion, he completely disregarded my explanation and kept focusing on the amount paid instead of honoring the promotion. When I reminded him about the "Buy 1 Get 1" offer, he told me to take it up with Uber and rudely hung up on me. Thankfully, Uber provided a full refund, but my main concern is how someone so impatient and rude can work in the hospitality industry. This isn't a reflection on the restaurant's food, but management really needs to train staff on basic customer service. Highly disappointed!

Siempre me ha encantado el campamento base y siempre ordeno desde aquí auténtica comida india. Pedimos ayer después de mucho tiempo y no podía creer la calidad y el sabor de la comida que era tan agua y horrible! El dhaal makhani era como si alguien lo hubiera hervido y añadido un poco de crema que parecía blanca, y el saag paneer tenía tanta agua que el paneer estaba nadando en él... He tenido reflujo ácido toda la noche de la comida que nunca recibo! Realmente decepcionado y probablemente no será pedir desde allí de nuevo! ¡Qué pena que estos tipos hayan cambiado de chef!

The food was prepared to perfection. Taste, Texture and quality 100/100 tonight. Delivery on time and it was clean and no spillage. Definitely a happy customer after a long busy day’s work.

the owner is a fraud who does not give salary to his staff. when staff ask for salary .he always gives threaten. i never see this type of people in my whole life.

Not up to the mark. Looks like your chef changed. Instead of methi paratha i got plain paratha. Tandoori momos felt more like fried momos. Making me think if i shld order again.

Once again received bland, runny watered down Tadka Daal. Chilli Paneer oozed food coloring. Quality and taste is so much downhill from earlier, and there seems no intent to make it better. Far, far worse than what they began with.

Complete waste of money! I would never ever recommend Base Camp lounge & restaurant at Bexleyheath. We ordered 2 items on a Friday night and the food was horrible. One item didn’t have any salt in it. The other item tasted awful and Garlic Naam was so hard that it killed the entire mood of a Friday evening. Total money wasted! I wish I would have ordered the food from somewhere else. If I was the manager, I would have fired the chef in the first place.

Very hasty services. The food was not properly cooked especially the pork. And a bit expensive comparing with other restaurant. A mid level restaurant yet charges like a top tier ones.

Hastily cooked (rather undercooked) and poorly packaged order that damaged, spilled out before delivery. 4 boxes in a thin polythene jumbled upon each other.

Lovely food, drinks took a very long time to come out and we were the only table there for a while. The band was so loud you couldn't talk whilst eating a meal.

We were lied to multiple times when we called to find out where our food was. We were told it had left. We were told that we would get a full refund because our night had been ruined waiting around for food. The delivery driver said he had picked it not long ago proving that we had been lied to. Didn’t get the refund.

Have been visiting and ordering from this place regularly but for the last few months has been a horrible experience. Rude waitress, watery dal, tasteless chicken. New menu is funny and no way as good as it used to be when it opened. Not coming back. The standard has fallen for sure. Don't waste your money at this place.

I ordered masala chips expecting potato chips but got served fish chips. I am vegetarian for nearly 20 years and this is unforgivable and unacceptable. The one who did this can have it on their conscience for life. I think this is really bad and disappointing.

Food doesn't have the same flavours like before. A lot down than before. Too much oil and salt ruins the taste. This was for a takeout, so cannot say about the ambience or service. Hope they improve.

Missing the most of the order. It has happened for the 4th time. The driver should be checking the order and the restaurant need to sort there staff out. Absolutely ridiculous. I even called the resturant to get ensure and they still sent it wrong

The chicken chow mein had no discernable chicken in it ! The lamb was a bit tough and was overspiced for what I expect of nepalese cooking

If you’re hungry then don’t order food from base camp as after waiting for your food you will be missing items and will be served refund instead. So BE prepared for refund not food if you order from Base camp

If you want traditional food bursting with flavour then Basecamp is a must. This is the second time we have eaten here and both times didn't disappoint. It's a shame it's not more busy during the week because it's such a hidden gem in Bexleyheath. The food is rich and spicy but so different from the local Indian restaurants that tends to be the 'go to'. Portion sizes are great too with so much choice and cocktails/wine top notch.

The Jhol Momo I ordered was superb, complemented by exceptional service. I highly recommend!

Daal Makhani was too oily, literally oil floating in the box. Nothing like the creamier and richer version it used to be. Prawn curry was also too oily, prawns not well cooked either.

Such a bad behaviour of staff. I often order food from this restaurant. The quality of food is not too bad. I order food from uber eats and its come out good. But today I called to the restaurant to collect my order by person, but they don't understand what I want to order or they just pretend they don't understand. After i have repeated my order for couple of times I asked how much I will have to pay, they say £45. In online, it was showing £29. I said to them that in uber eats, it is showing £29, how come it will be £45. They then said in uber eats they are giving discount. But after discount it will be £24. I was telling them the price before discount which is £29. But they don't want to understand, they just keep saying i have to pay £45. Anyways, I gave up and tell them that I am going to order through uber eats. Then I ordered and my husband went to pick up the order. When he entered to the restaurant, one of their staff said to him that you are not supposed to come through this way. Go to the back, she behaved so rudely. My husband was getting so angry. Because he was going for the first time to collect the order and was surprised how they behaved to the customer. They can say politely that he needs to go to the back to pick up the order rather than misbehaving. Very rude and manner less staff. Will never order again.

Did my Daughter's 1st bday party here on April. Amazing food and ambience. Specially loved the cocktails here and staff were really helpful. Would definitely host another one here again If I need. Thanks Basecamp team.

Booked a brunch with paradise brunch which was unfortunately cancelled on the day, This restaurant was really understanding in the fact and made sure we still had a brilliant time! food was amazing, atmosphere was brilliant and staff were lovely! Props to these guys, would definitely recommend!

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, polite and attentive. The food was incredible! And so filling, but the flavours!! OMG absolutely delicious! We even had a chat with the chef after - thoroughly recommend. Oh and the cocktails were 241 - so we had a few of those - the salted caramel espresso was a favourite!

A great spot for food and drinks. A creative Indian & Nepalese fusion menu in a nice club / wine bar type feel. They even have a DJ at weekends for those wishing to dance the night away. The small plates are perfect if you like a tapas style dinning experience. Everything tasted so fresh and the balance of flavours were perfect. You have to try the dumplings! We will be returning again for sure. 5 stars!

I had a wonderful experience at Basecamp Lounge in Bexleyheath. The lamb biryani was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and tender. The momos were also a standout, with a delightful combination of flavors. Pooja provided excellent service throughout my visit. I highly recommend Basecamp Lounge for a satisfying meal and a pleasant dining experience.

First time visit with a Groupon deal . What a find! The service was impeccable, the restaurant is beautiful and the food quite outstanding. We had tikka momos , lamb curry and a chicken curry and black daal which was amazing. I highly recommend and will definitely return. Only regret is not going before now!!
