Had to queue for a drink only pitfall.

Had a fantastic time last night, live entertainment and a brilliant atmosphere. Will be going again ❤️ No food rating as not a foodie pub x

Nice pub with live sports and very friendly staff and customers. Midweek so a bit quiet, hense the rating, but wouldn't mind being there on a busier night. Definitely will return. 😁

In for tea with the family, service very slow very minimal staff, workmen sat near us being loud swearing and being lary, we ate and left

Nice and clean , bar staff very friendly ,an asset to the owner (s). Don't know if they do food.

Old man's bar now. Shame. No atmosphere, prices a bit high, plenty of seats. Service ok. Toilets ok. Won't rush back.

In the past I held events at the barristers thought it was a top pla e in leyland , made them alot of money regarding tributes to saffie rose roussos the youngest to die in the Manchester arena attacks, went their tonight to be rudely told I have no entry, shocked absolutely shocked, obviously I'm not bringing a cround this time doesn't meet their spending requirements!, absolutely allpalled at their excuses for non entry to 3 local business owners who also contributed to the cause at the time, shame on you..... Shame on you

My husband and I went to Barristers tonight. After a few drinks we got up to dance to a song I had requested. We left our newly bought drinks for 10 minutes. On our return they had been taken. When we spoke to the bar staff, they said there was nothing they could do. Even though we cant take them onto the dance floor. We had been in the pub two hours and given the amount of security ( bouncers and cameras) it was clear we hadnt finished. It's a shame as everytime we have been to Barristers we have had a great night. Money spent on two drinks that were swiped within 10 minutes by the bar staff who must have known we had just bought them. Poor form. We wont be returning.

Staff fantastic and drinks with us within 3/4 mins each time. Was quiet at the time but still a lovely elderly lady there and the bar man that served us was sound as a pound

This place is as I would say on the edge of the main town. It has a mix of clients from the very young to the rather old, who I think must mainly be the regulars. The bar staff are very friendly and really willing to oblige. The young woman that served us was lovely. Very bouncy with fantastic manners. She sang a 'pink' song on the karaoke during the evening and has the most fantastic voice. A very talented young lady. I would definitely go in again.

It was ok, the only thing that let it down was they don't do food.

Great bar serving multiple cask ales. All the staff are very friendly and helpful to everyone! The sister bar over in bolton (The Swan Bar/Nightclub & Barristers Bar) are also amazing and run amazingly by a great team of mangers and staff.

Not a bad place. Staff are friendly but the doormen look like they want to tear you a new one if you look at them wrong. It would have 5 stars if you were allowed to play pool all night at weekend. I'd spend more money.

Very underrated as far as I'm concerned when I talk to anybody about it. It's a pub, yes just a pub, with great staff who have the time of day for you and they keep the beer right in both condition, and in these challenging times, price. I'll always pop in when I'm passing

Lovely local with sports and plenty of TVs. Very homely.

Nice pub but ruined by some undesirable drinkers. Staff very friendly and a reasonable range a beers and lagers, but not cheap. This pub is now even more expensive, my pint of St.Miguel is now £3.35, which makes it 20p more than Wetherspoons and it was an inch short. The experience is made even more unpleasant with several noisy kids in the bar area plus the usual loudmouth yobs. I have been coming here since it firsr and this opened will be my last, there is plenty of choice with in minutes

Cheap drinks. Friendly staff. But don't take card. Keep in mind if you plan on coming.

Good price beer £2.10 a pint !!
