Baron's in Charnwood

The American burger. Blows the socks of MacDonalds and Burger King. Juicy burger soft fresh tasty bun and lashings of perfectly fried delicious onions. Truly the best burger.

Came here tonight as all previous visits and food excellent, however tonight's one meal ok which was kebab meat and chips and then my medium Donnor kebab asked for some salad lettuce onion cucumber and chillies. The kebab was made prior to the other part of the meals required and instead of chillies I ended up with chillies sauce and as both meals were not made together mine was cold by the time I got home the pitta breads were also very crisp and not the normal standard. At present I am now thinking of not going back as I tend to use a few times a month and now think I wont return at present

Barons is our local and must say I am always impressed with the food and the waiting time. They're always quick and provide great service. They even gave me extra chillis :)

We have used Baron's for many years and the prices are good but we will be taking a break as we seem to have seen a slight dip in quality recently which I am hoping is temporary.

Not tried a lot of the menu but the pizzas are always lovely and always 2for1 meaning you get 2 medium pizzas for about a tenner!! Bargain!! The cheesy chips are good too :)

Very nice pizzas and kababs. The 2 4 1 is really good because you basically get two pizzas for less than fifteen pound.

Baron's is a useful kebab and pizza place in the South part of Shepshed, at the start of the road to Hathern. There's plenty of on-street parking outside, and there's one table and a small counter area inside if you don't want to take away. It looks as if the mix is roughly 50:50 between pizzas and kebabs - there are two pizza ovens and a single meat kebab spit - if you want chicken, as I did, they'll cook it to order on the grill. The regular chicken kebab was fine - only a small pita, rather soaked in their homemade chili sauce - recommended, though not too fiery. They provided plenty of salad and the price was spot on for a small-town kebab shop. The drinks are the typical array of cans - nothing exceptional here. Not great cuisine, but they delivered what you expect, in a friendly and efficient manner.
