This is my updated review, after visiting on numerous occasions since the great COVID debacle. Luckily this establishment miraculously survived the insane and useless lock downs during the pandemic. The cafe can be found inside what used to be the old Fenton Town Hall and Courts, (the cafe actually being what used to be the judges chambers). You will always find a warm welcome from the proprietor who has worked incredibly hard to build up what has become a superb little business. The food is always EXCELLENT. There's a nice choice of warm and cold sandwiches, paninis etc. Soups, baps, cakes and a decent choice of beverages all at competitive prices. I can personally recommend the Tuna & Cheese melt. Parking can found at a nearby car park which, considering it's a Stoke City Council car park, isn't too expensive. You may be lucky enough though to be able to park in the local streets, but don't count on it. My only VERY slight gripe, is that during my past few visits, there has been what seems to be a women's community group of some kind in residence. Now they seems to be very nice ladies who do good for the local community, but they can be a little loud and rambunctious at times. However it's not so bad as for me to take a star off. I will definitely visit again.

I have frequented here about five times and can honestly say that the welcome, service and food have been excellent. Prices are great and all in the Victorian setting of Fenton Town Hall, (also once home to Fenton Courts and Magistrates Offices). Soups, sandwiches & cakes, along with various teas, coffees and soft drinks are available at very competitive prices - all fresh and handmade to order. Pop in and try it out, see photo for opening times. Everything I have had here as been SUPERB! Parking may be a problem as it is mainly street parking, this can be very busy on most days, but I've always managed to find a spot. There is also a council run car park just a couple of minutes walk away. My only VERY slight gripe is that on two of my five visits, there has been what I could only describe as a "local character" who as arrived there and seems to loiter around the cafe with no real aim. Today, whilst we were having lunch, he stood by the counter and sneezing loudly without covering his mouth/nose. Considering the virus that's circling the globe currently - this is very bad and could lead to customers not returning. To his credit, the proprietor told him to leave if he was going to keep doing this. That said, if he was in there again, I doubt I'd stay.

Lovely cosy cafe in a historical building within the centre of Fenton. A very warm welcome accompliced by excellent coffee and cakes. Prices are well short of other establishments around the city which is an added bonus. Give this place a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Always a good welcome and a great choice of drinks including very well kept real ales. Couldn’t be handier for the Station as it’s basically part of the building.

After travelling to carmountside cremartorum from Telford for a family funeral we were in need of a drink and food. The tearoom was very busy so we ordered bacon and cheese oatcakes and a pot of tea.
