Bar Uno in Gwynedd

I was skeptical I would like it because I’m not used to the foods here in the UK yet… but the Chicken Uno Burger is something else!!! I loved it so much that I think I’ll spend these two weeks ordering it every time I go there! I wouldn’t even try anything else. It’s crunchy with excellent proportion of chicken to bun, and the toppings match extremely well. The staff is very friendly & helpful as well!

Love going here based on student camp affordable meals friendly staff great atmosphere and the food is gorgeous you can get a large cooked meal and a drink for under £10pp

In our time as students so far at Bangor Uni, we have found Bar Uno to have a variety of good and bad qualities but what stands far above all of them is the Supervisor named Gaynor, she is a fantastic and positive staff member and she is by far above the rest in customer service skills and attentiveness , she is the driving force in the success of Bar Uno

So we had a university event above bar uno, I was unaware bar uno isn't part of the event, so I got free tea from the floor right above and we came downstairs sitting with a cup of tea in disposable. The owner/managing guy quite rudely told us to leave the place right away... My only issue is he could have been nice. Kind this was the first place I found quite bluntness and felt a lil awkward. Would have been better to say it in a friendly way maybe.

Was at Bangor University for a weightlifting competition. Used the bar to get meals and drinks. Lovely food. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

The vegan options here are awful £5.50 for a burger with no cheese or sauce, the patty is a cheap vegetable burger I’d rather eat at weatherspoons

Great place, cheap but good food, nice environment

Burger undercooked but remade a whole french meal straight away and offered me a drink to make up for it. 10/10 service. No worries about the burger - was a busy! Just glad it was rectified with so many apologies and quick service- thanks very much. Usually good cheap eats and great portion sizes.

Bar tender (M) was particularly blunt and rude today to my friend. We don't go there too often for a few reasons, let's not add rude staff to the list of reasons why.

A very relaxing place. They have nice options for students. San Miguel, Corona, and other well known beer brands. Chips, hamburgers, fish and chips...etc they also have Starbucks variety.

They have the cheapest drinks in bangor, i get that its not the coolest but if youve got a tight group already i cant recommend it enough.

It’s a good place to go with your friends to have a drink or eat. The food is nothing out of the ordinary and sometimes it can be noisy if there are a lot of societies around. Perfect for students.

Cheap and cheerful, pint and a burger for a fiver. Nothing earth shattering but tasty never the less!

A solid bar with good kitchen! They have fußball, pool, boardgames and other options for entertainment. Every thursday there's karaoke night and overall it's one of the best pubs in bangor.

Basic student bar, but the staff in inexperienced, slow and the only pro is that it's cheap. It closes too soon, and the pool tables are kinda bad

Just great. It is a perfect bar for students. Good atmosphere, karaoke nights and variety of drinks and beer. In addition, you can also eat delicious fish and chips. They also have a couple of pool tables and they are always organizing parties so if you go, the party is guaranteed. Every time I've gone I've had a great time.
