Great restaurant and bar with a good menu. The specials were delicious and the service was so friendly and professional.

Can’t believe we found this! Gorgeous Italian cafe bar, amazing specials on the board but a fabulous menu too! Licenced too which was a bonus. Staff very knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommended! ❤️

Really impressed. It's clear that an enormous amount of attention to detail has gone into sourcing of ingredients here, not one element was distinguishable as even slightly less satisfying than any other. From the vibrant orange rich egg yolks, to the delicately flavoured and tender, high quality Salmon, really fresh rocket and the well seasoned, flavourful and fresh foccacia. Service was attentive but discreet. Brief well and truly fulfilled in a way that made it seem effortless. Absolutely top drawer. Exceptional, a real gem. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, great staff and really lovely place to spend time and relax. Yesterdays lunch was a great way to spend a Birthday.

We came to Bar Unico for lunch and the food and coffee was delicious and the service was brilliant. My only complaint would be about the lack of finesse when it comes to the sandwiches. My sandwich arrived on an oblong plate, the sandwich was at one end and the rest of the plate was covered up with a serviette, which I already had a serviette wrapped round the cutlery. It seemed like a complete waste of space when this could’ve had a nice little salad garnish/crisps etc. Made the dish look quite minimal. Maybe something to consider to just add that little bit more. Otherwise it was lovely.

We went to Bar Unico today for lunch - and the ambience and facilities were as always spotless, the staff really friendly, courteous and helpful and the food simply amazing/excellent - the whole experience was wonderful 👍😊 And to top it all the price was true VfM I can not praise Bar Unico more highly 👍 Highly recommend to anyone in the area

If you want some Italian style and sophistication and enjoy great coffee, cake or pizza and lots more you can't go wrong at Bar Unico. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with plenty of on site parking.

We, as a group of 4 friends, went to Bar Unico Horncastle for one of their Christmas menu evenings. We visit regularly and always enjoy the coffee, food and atmosphere. The Christmas evening was brilliant, the food was exceptional, the staff are all very welcoming and the bistro was looking very festive. It was a 4 course meal and the food was delicious.

It was Sunday horncastle Christmas Market & we were very hungry so stopped for lunch here. Very very busy inside as it was Xmas Market day..lucky a couple were just going so found a seat. If you like being very warm, you will love this place - 2 wood log-burners heating the lovely venue..slightly different menu today as there was such a large turn-over of customer's Bar Unico had a limited menu - and quite rightly so as their normal menu would of made other customers wait..we had the house-soup & beef meat-balls and vegetarian- pizza 🍕 - and I might add that the pizza was 1 of the best pizza's I've eaten in a long -long time.... if you want somewhere chic - classy to take partners and/or family visiting ect - then they will be very impressed with Bar Unico....

This venue hosted my friend's 40th and the service and facilities were excellent. Great food and drinks and at fair prices. A lovely location

Bar Unico hosted my 40th birthday party. Gio, Debbie and the team could not have done enough to ensure my wishes came true and the 60 guests had a wonderful time. Pizza and authentic Italian nibbles served alongside Moretti, Aperol Spritz and Limonchello, space for the DJ to play his tunes all came together for one of the best nights of my life.

Bar Unico Horncastle was a super venue for my 70th Birthday party; it has a great atmosphere and was just the right size for a party of 30. Gio was so helpful in the planning & the evening could't have been better. Food was outstanding and the lovely team were so helpful. Thank you from Jonnie and me for making a memorable evening.

Oh my goodness, I had such a nice lunch today. There are very few places this good in this part of Lincolnshire. Fantastic Italian menu to choose from, smart decor, great service, generous portions. I can’t wait to come back. I wish they opened in the evenings

Nice food friendly staff Quite expensive Menus listed on website have incorrect prices to the menus in the restaurant These should be the same and the website needs updating to reflect correct prices Drinks rather expensive alcoholic and non alcoholic

Sophisticated coffee house/restaurant in a beautiful listed building right in the centre of Horncastle but with ample parking straight outside in the pretty courtyard. First class food and drink, delicious home-baked cakes, the best coffee and fabulous home-made ice cream. Particularly enjoy the themed nights that happen every other Friday (and need to be booked in advance). Love this place and it’s wonderful team of staff!

We have visited previously for lunch and were really looking forward to trying the evening menu. The food was incredible with a great choice of Italian “Tapas” dishes to try. The food was brought to the table when ready rather than all at once and was delicious. The Arancini and Cod with Capers were delicious. A real highlight was the deserts, an amazing Panna Cotta and Chocolate Tartuffo. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Really is worth a visit either for lunch or for one of the evening events.

This is my favourite place for breakfast, lunch and coffee. The service is great, menu is delicious and the cakes are divine. And it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Spaces left for walk ins so we were lucky to get a table. We had pizzas that were amazing and the house salad was equally good. Service was superb. The staff were polite and very helpful. Certainly recommend it and we will certainly be back.

We went to one of the specials evenings on a Friday night, this was a pasta theme. The menu was for 3 courses which was lovely and catered for vegetarian options too. All 3 of us had 3 courses and a few drinks; very nice...
