Bar Soba Leeds in Leeds

Been for a bottomless brunch and amazing. Meg our waitress was second to none. Drinks were free flowing, asked for our next one half way down. Food was gorgeous and sides Dirty Katsu Fries and chicken spring rolls well worth it. We will be back

We did the bottomless brunch on Saturday and despite having booked our slot at least 2 weeks prior we were not sat down until almost half an hour after our booking due to there being no table available. We were given a free drink while we waited by Connor the manager then sat at a table directly next to the bar which resulted in one of our party being constantly pushed and bumped into by people ordering drinks, really nit an ideal place for a table when people are eating. We sat at least forty five minutes waiting for the only drink order that was taken along with what food we wanted. Once our food was brought to our table and a member of staff came to see if everything was OK were we able to say we were still waiting for our first drink. Connor was running around like a headless chicken trying to get everyone what they wanted, if it wasn't for him and his help we would of spent the full time of our booking with literally one drink. The food was inedible, my chicken burger was rock solid and the katsu curry sauce had an overpowering burnt taste to it. We appreciated the fact it was a Saturday afternoon and knew it would be busy but between the location of where we were seated, the lack of drinks to begin with and the food it made for a really disappointing experience. We can't praise Connor enough for his customer skills and tireless running around trying to rectify the situation, he is the only reason we would even consider coming back and trying again for a better experience, he's an absolute credit to the company

Unfortunately, this wasn't the one. We were an hour into our bottomless Brunch experience and no food order had been taken. It took half an hour for someone to take our first drink order. Poor organisation and service. However, the staff were lovely and very apologetic, it was busy and think we caught them at an understaffed moment (I hope). Although, Captain Blazer came from another bar under the same company and sorted the whole place in minutes - what a hospitality wizard! They were kind and apologised and we had a more attentive experience after the arrival of Captain blazer (no idea on real name but they acted like a superhero - saving the day and my friend's birthday). Food was alright but was very cold. Again, I think it got left in the unorganised frenzy that we arrived to. Hope this was a fluke, nobody's perfect but wouldn't hurry back to find out if this is true.

The food was amazing however the toilets were absolutely disgusting with vomit on the wall and all over the toilet. I would visit again to eat but would avoid the toilets as this really spoilt my otherwise great experience

Delicious roast dinner - such a great twist on a classic. Would recommend the Gochujang cauliflower cheese and you get extra gravy without even asking! The dream!

Genuinely fantastic bottomless! The drinks were flowing and the food was amazing - sometimes bottomlesss brunch food can be hit and miss but the quality of the food was just insanely good 😊 Would absolutely come again just for the food!

Fantastic Sunday lunch! Slightly different from the run of the mill Sunday lunch with Asian flavours. It was delicious. The salt and pepper roast potatoes were incredible. Great service too. Booked to go again mid March.

Me and my friend walked in here and they managed to squeeze us in a table. Such a helpful manager/ supervisor (I didn’t get his name unfortunately) but he was very attentive. Lovely friendly staff and the katsu curry was amazing. Great cocktails too! Would definitely come again

Really poor level of service on Saturday the manager was very rude when I asked for just a few straws. Definitely won't be coming back here poorly run.

We attended a very poor bottomless brunch. Waited 10 mins for our table, 30 mins into the 1.5hr bottomless brunch we got our first drinks. Everyone around us were complaining. The service was poor. Drinks weren’t full and seemed watered down. 3/4 waitress staff just hanging around the bar with one bar person, which for a full bar was not enough. We refused to pay anywhere near full price as we just wanted to leave. Other tables complaining also. Worst brunch we have done. We even felt thirsty part way through it was that poor. Won’t be visiting again.

Late with food for ages slow with drinks however katie was incredible throughout the whole time, They missed our order and where slow with drinks but Katie the whole time was attentive and clearly works harder than most of the team

Good food, shocking service, We had a meal here and the food was good, the service was shocking, we waited over an hour for our food, and over 40 minutes For our drinks. Seemed as though they prioritised bottemless brunch over anyone else. The bar staff didn’t even know what they had on tap / bottles. Shockkng service.

Arrived on time for a 1730 dinner, it took 15 minutes to get a drink, the glasses were only half full and one of them had lipstick on, after 25 minutes no one had been back to take our food order, me and my partner decided to leave, a waiter asked if there was something wrong and I told him that we had been waiting so long considering it wasn't even busy, his response to the drinks/glasses he stated that the drinks would be complementary and he could offer us a 20% discount for our next visit. I declined as I will not be returning. We were really looking forward to it to as it had come highly recommended.

Had a table booked for food. Took 15 mins to get a drink ordered and when they arrived neither glass was full and one was literally half full with lipstick around the rim... Left 15 mins later as they hadn't taken our food order. Apologies from the staff and was informed the drinks would be complementary and we could have a discount voucher for the next visit. First and last visit.

We visited for cocktails and Cory was really friendly and personable. He chatted to us about the menu and could answer all our questions, and the cocktails were spot on!

Had a fabulous lunch, staff were polite and attentive. Food was amazing so tasty and fresh we will be back. Thanks to our server Beth she couldn’t have done more. Such an amazing lunch thank you x

Great bottomless brunch. Good selection of food on the menu. What we had was lovely. Paid extra for the loaded fries as well which were worth the extra money. Also good drinks selection for those who aren’t Prosecco drinkers. Matt was a fab host and...

Two ladies were fantastic, hazel and Victoria both lovely and polite. Kept making sure everything was good for us. Lots and drinks and great service. Would definitely return and recommend! Unsure of the bar tender name but also amazing in doing everything asked.

Just finished up bottomless brunch today. Matt looked after us, drinks were flowing for our full time slot. Nothing was too much drama, definitely better than some other venues we’ve had bottomless brunch at. We’ll be back!!

The worst bottomless brunch we have ever had. They were short staffed on the bar, we were waiting a long time for drinks to be made. We decided to go on Prosecco to try to speed things up but it was warm. Apparently they had run out and the stuff they brought up from the cellar wasn’t chilled, surely they could have used ice buckets? We came out absolutely sober from a bottomless brunch. They did knock £30 off the bill but it was such a disappointment especially we hadn’t been out for so long. The food was ok but nothing special.

I came for bottomless brunch with my friends for a catch up and it didn’t disappoint. The food was tasty and came within reasonable time. The variety of drinks available was amazing compared to other bottomless brunches I’ve been to and the staff were super friendly and attentive!

Waited for 20 minutes and left as no one had served us. Best part of the visit was that we didn’t have to pay for anything because we didn’t even manage to order.

Came for a couple drinks with mates last Thursday and sat outside, overall nice little spot for drinks. I was served by Emily who provided us with a laugh and smooth service, and took us through the cocktail menu suggesting drinks to our liking, so shoutout to her - we gave her a tip and wanted to make sure it went directly to her!! Drumstick cocktails here are the go to, only thing I would say is there were quite a few things out of stock on the menu but luckily we had a nice time anyway.

Eilidh was brilliant, fast and effective service couldn’t fault her one bit. Food was excellent the chicken Pad Thai was phenomenal would recommend this dish. The vibe was great as well.

If you have any kind of nut allergy don’t bother trying to eat here. I completely understand that restaurants have policies regarding allergens, but I’ve never experienced such a ln issue anywhere else. The staff were trying to be helpful, but at one point there were 3 members of staff (none of which were wearing masks) discussing this issue. Eventually me and my partner just left because - despite being told before ordering that it wouldn’t be a problem, I was told AFTER ordering that they couldn’t guarantee there’d be no nuts in my good (despite the menu dishes that were supposedly nut free). I left feeling really embarrassed and it was just generally not a very good experience. We had already felt quite stressed because staff weren’t wearing masks, and not bothering to tell other people to wear masks either when they were walking around. The AGM did come over to apologise and was really nice about it, though, and we were given a discount on drinks. It was just shame as we had been looking forward to eating here.

1. False advertisement of the student discount - the website stated a 50% student discount which apparently didn’t exist once we arrived, we only went to this bar because of the advertised discount.2. 80% of the dishes on the menu were not available, we were only informed of this after we had ordered and we had to re order about 3 times. Core ingredients like chicken and beef were missing from the menu. We were also rushed to order because the kitchen was closing in ‘5 minutes’ despite it only being half 8 on a Sunday..3. Poor service from female waitress who slammed the cutlery pot on the table. Unprofessional workers shouting across the bar at each other, seems like friends are welcome but nobody can walk in? Only table which was an awkward at smoother when asking for the bare minimum 4. Do not come if you’re a student expecting the discount. We tried to call various times during the day before our booking to inquire about the discount but they never picked up the phone. I would expect better service from a Greek Street restaurant.

Laurel made our time at bar Soba incredibly welcoming. She was always on top of our orders with ease and has a beautiful smile ~MillieLAUREL is the best person ever. She has made our experience the greatest it could possibly be. We reached drink 13 (well I did) because laurel's beautiful self made it possible. We love you Laurel and want you to know that if you ever get fired we will come sue the place for you. I hope we got your name right even though you told it to us twice. ~Prags

Vegan choice are to die for. Staff are very efficient. Our waitress Lauren was really friendly and polite, she made us feel very welcome. Will definitely visit again

Bar Soba es probablemente el único bar en Greek Street en el que nunca hemos estado, así que decidimos probarlo en nuestra reciente visita a Leeds. La decoración es genial, el personal es muy amable y la música es increíble. El menú Street Food Sharing Plates tiene un poco de comida de inspiración coreana, así como japonesa y china. Compartimos varios platos y todos estaban deliciosos al igual que los cócteles.

Exceptional service. Greg was incredible behind the bar and made us feel very welcome and catered to our every need. Best bottomless brunch I’ve been to.
