This has become my new go-to spot while in that area. I've taken multiple friends for lunch, dinner, or even afternoon snacks. It's in a great location and the windows allow you to see all that is happening around the restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is excellent!

We just happened upon this place and were so glad that we did. It was just for what proved to be a completely delicious light lunch today but we'll definitely be back to sample more. My friend had the wild mushroom kroketa and I the chorizo tortilla - both were stupendo! ¡Muchas gracias!

Inside this small restaurant boasts some of the best Spanish food outside of, well, Spain! Its typical decor and music adds to its ambiance beautifully. The menu highlights its strengths, Kroketa! Soft and indulgent centres and crunchy outsides and fried to perfection - they’re show stopping. The rest of the menu reminds me of pinxtos bars and tapas bars in Barcelona and Sevilla, beautifully and simply Spanish, no frills or spills, just tasty food. The wine list, where everything can be by the glass offers everything, but our favourite has to be the cocktails, particularly Aqua de Valencia. It’s a must visit!

A little hidden treasure in a corner of the city & on a wet Tuesday, this bar was absolutely rammed! We were served in a relatively laid back fashion & it was a tad tricky trying to chose our small plates from a chalk board, but when the drinks & food came, we dived in & virtually licked the dishes clean. A lovely vibe with delicious tapas & good value!

Nice tapas and croquette dishes. Highly recommend the crab toast, anchovies and the blue cheese croquettes. Nice wine and a good array of cocktails. Well priced- paid £50 a head for 5 of us including wine and a cocktail. The only downside is it’s so so loud you have to shout over one another. You can also sit at the bar which is quite fun

We enjoyed a lot having dinner in this place! We were very nicely welcomed by the staff and the food was very good! We were in the room in the back and the ambiance was very nice even if it was quite busy.

Great croquettes Good service Would recommend Check your bill though (doesn’t just apply to here) as we were handed the wrong (more expensive) bill perhaps from neighbouring diners. I would say it’s a good place to meet for a starter or if you have a small appetite if you are ordering only the croquettes.

Really lovely quaint little bar and eatery in the heart of Soho/Carnaby - well located. We booked ahead of time for four of us so I believe they take walk ins and also bookings. Lovely croquettes and a wide variety of other tapas style dishes. I had the prawn croquettes, mushroom croquettes, chorizo and guiness popcorn and shared a plate of patatas bravas. Will say the patatas bravas could’ve been a little crispier but that is my personal preference. I definitely reccomend three of the small plates - whether that’s croquettes or their other dishes - and then a larger plate e.g. the patatas to share amongst the table. I think for really high quality tapas style food that you wouldn’t get in most other places the price is pretty reasonable - drinks however a little expensive. For three plates, a shared patatas and a kalimoxto sour cocktail I paid around £35 including service charge which for central London is not too bad. Would strongly reccomend the mushroom croquettes and chorizo and guiness popcorn - the latter particularly addictive!

So many croquette varieties to choose from - they were all so unique and delicious!! Personal fav was the black squid ink and aioli. There are also so many other tapas items on the menu, which were so good! Will definitely be coming back to try the rest.

Terrible service and terrible food. From the minute we got there we were treated like a nuisance. I got the attention of someone behind the bar as there was no one to greet us and mentioned I had a booking, he said someone would come and get us and we were not even greeted with a hello we just got told we had an hour and half before we had to leave. We were then placed on a table right next to the toilet where there was a huge queue as there was only one, I asked if we could possible move to any other table and was told no as there was only two of us which I agree with bus ten minutes later a table of two were placed on one of the tables we were told no to. The croquetas were nice but nothing special, the pan con tomate was shocking it was so soggy and having lived in Spain pretty much all my life this wasn't what I was expecting and the tortillas were sat at the bar uncovered and was served cold. All in all it was an experience I won't be repeating and was very dissapointing as it was a birthday celebration.

As I’m sure many have seen, this place was seen on Instagram by my partner. Always worries me but I didn’t need to be as it was great! Had the lunch board which included 2 kroketas, tortilla, bread with tomato, olives and crisps. Very tasty for £12. Thanks I’ll be back.

Had been looking forward to coming here for a while and the food more than lived up to expectations. The croquettes were absolutely divine - cannot recommend highly enough. However it was definitely a mixed experience. The servers were doing their best but were completely rushed off their feet and clearly short staffed. We were there nearly 40 mins before getting our drinks, then faced an even longer wait for food. There was a time limit on how long we could keep the table, which meant we didn't end up ordering more drinks etc. The place is lovely and tiny but because of that understandably loud - so the loud music playing on top was just too much. Made it difficult to have a conversation. This place deserves to do well so hope it won't be long until it's ready to move to a bigger venue - the current cramped layout is just too squishy!

We had a great time at Bar Kroketa. We had: Cheese tortilla (comes cold, and was okay) Guinness and chorizo popcorn (I thought it would be flavoured popcorn but was really lovely flavourful chorizo bites - couldn't taste the Guinness though although I thought was a plus) Crab toastie (really smooth and they weren't stingy on the filling) Chicharrones (perfectly cooked with lovely dip and fennel (?) salt accompaniment. Croquettes-wise, we had the jamon, prawn and sobrasada (all perfectly cooked and clearly made fresh) Scallop (nice flavours but expensive for the portion size - not really made to share!) Its expensive - about 140 for 2 plus two cocktails each, but every bite was great and its a fun vibe and great for people who enjoy 'picky bits' Bai (not sure if I'm spelling correctly) our server was brilliant, smiley, attentive without being annoying, and gave great recommendations.

It get's very busy, especially at weekends so I would suggest booking. The main seats in the dining area were out of the way around the back and would recommend booking onto them rather than the high-tops - but whatever you prefer! Getting in was a little tight, as the bar area was so busy (just shows how popular it is!). Staff were lovely and paid attention to us, despite being rushed off their feet. All the food was incredible, we tried 4 different croquetas, tortilla and pan con tomate. All so fresh and the flavours were excellent. We'll 100% be back!

Lovely tapas bar in the hussle of Carnaby . Menu is on the board - selection of Kitchen , Counter ( tortilla ) & Kroketas which is their specialty. The latter was fabulous- blue cheese , mushroom & prawn were the ones we tried. From the kitchen there was pork belly , Guinness chorizo popcorn & lamb . Lots for veggies & pescatarian as well . Tortilla was moist and really delicious! Good price for that area . We booked but you could sit by the bar too . Would revisit !

Super super food. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. They even helped with the booking online process during their lunch, when we couldn’t get online. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back again.

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée dans ce restaurant sophistiqué aux plats savoureux. Le menu possède de nombreux plats sans gluten. Le personnel était agréable et attentif. Nous reviendrons.

Stumbled across this place while looking for another restaurant. Was able to get a cone of jamon pieces that were totally delectable at only 4 pounds. They sell several types of iberico and pata Negra in sealed pouches. Yummy

I had high hopes for this restaurant, unfortunately my hopes were shattered. Let me start by saying I had received fantastic service at the run up to our dinner when I queried the menu or the dress code and that is where the positives end. We arrived for our pre-theatre dinner a little late and apologised. Once we were seated we realised it didn't make a jot of difference as we were the only people in the entire restaurant. I asked if they were expecting more people to which they replied yes it's early. Looking back we should have left at this point as it was a huge red flag. We ordered cocktails as I'd seen some great cocktails on their social media. What we got was utterly disappointing. They were served in some plastic tumblers which made us feel like we were toddlers. Worst of all, they just didn't taste nice. The flavours were all wrong and they didn't go together. Something important seemed missing They were not cheap at 16 pounds a pop either. So we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and when our starter was served tucked in. My husband took one mouthful and looked disgusted. He said "I'll eat anything, you know me but I just don't want to eat this. I tried it and again it was just not balanced at all. All style and no substance. My starter was edible enough so I ate it as I was hungry but it was not what I would call tasty. Mains arrived and we considered asking to pay up and cut our losses but we stuck it out. Hoping for a change with our mains. It didn't come. My husband had the chicken shawarma, which could have come from a kebab shop. I had the trout, which looked and tasted more like salmon and which was not cooked properly in the middle. We'd had enough we asked for the bill. We stated our issues and asked for the 12.5 service charge to be removed as this added insult to injury. There was no attempt to apologise or rectify our evening. We left, glad that we were out of that restaurant. The service was poor, no one asked us at any point how our food was as we would have told them. The food was beyond poor. The drinks were poor. Added to this there was zero atmosphere in the restaurant as we were the only customers. A full house of disappointment. Avoid if you have any tastebuds or taste.
